Easy to use & not much food waste when compared to the 3 pack of Munchkin shape cutters I purchased as well.

Saw this in a Youtube video and had to have it.

It's easy to use but make sure you have large slices of bread or the crust will get sealed at the edge.

I loved it.

I like pandas and sandwiches so it delighted me.

It fit over the bread and smashed down easily.

If you'd like to make your own knock-off "Uncrustables" (as dubbed by Smucker's), this little tool offers wide possibilities. Nut butter and jelly, pizza pockets, grilled cheese, salmon salad, and just about any other filling you can thing of are all fair game with this Cut N Seal gadget, and they all come out with that cute scalloped edge. For those dieting or health-conscious, losing that extra crust (x2) means intaking many fewer calories. Came promptly, wrapped in plastic, with directions, and is very easy to clean. Directions indicate ability to make half pockets (half-moon-shaped) but have not yet tried. My only minor wish is that the press-button was smoothly-shaped without the nub on top so it didn't imprint in your palm when pressing down, but this is not a big deal. Otherwise, this is fun (especially for kids), easy to use, and fairly priced; very pleased and highly recommend.

This is great for making a "knock off" version of the frozen pbjs my daughter is obsessed with. Not only do I save money, but I can also use higher-quality ingredients (whole wheat bread, low-sugar jelly, etc). AND this is easier than making a "real" pbjAll you do is scoop a spoon of pb and a spoon of jelly in the middle of a slice of bread, slap on another piece and push down the gadget. Rip away any stubborn crust and voila! I'm going to try making a mass batch and freezing them, next. Also want to try more fillings. I made a grilled cheese (in the oven) tonight and it was fabulous!

I wanted to make my own uncrustables and kept looking at reviews online. they all point to this product. I actually tried making different shapes with a cookie cutter and it also works so you dont really need this. But for this product its pretty functional. The only issue I have is the size. because of its size you end up cutting a lot of the bread away. I wish it was a bit bigger.

Honest reviews on The Pampered Chef Cut N Seal #1195

What a handy gadget! For those of you who love Uncrustables or love someone who loves Uncrustables, this is a great addition to your kitchen tools. My youngest son, who is now 14, has been eating Uncrustables since he was a toddler. About six months ago he went to a school mate's house and the child's Mom made them peanut butter and jelly using one of these devices. My son came home and excitedly told me how much better the homemade Uncrustables were. The benefit is that you can use your favorite bread, peanut butter and flavor of jelly and they taste very fresh. I asked the Mom where she got the gadget to make them and she said she bought it at a Pampered Chef party quite a while back. Not knowing a Pampered Chef consultant, I then went to the internet to find one, and sure enough, Amazon carried them. I actually bought two, one for us and one for my step-daughter, who originally discovered Uncrustables and serves them for her family. We both use ours at least three times a week. Plus, the homemade ones cost a fraction of the price of the commercially made Uncrustables. It will take you a few attempts to perfect your technique, but once you get it, you get it. It is also important that you use fresh bread, because stale bread tends to tear and not stay crimped.

Fantastic tool---solid construction, great results. You must flatten bread first (I used a rolling pin) before topping it to keep bread from tearing. Love it!

I purchased this in hopes that I wouldn't have to continually wipe the wine drop sliding down the bottle and prevent wine stains on my white counter top...it works great! For the price, you can't beat this gadget. There are alternatives however. I have seen the round discs that you can curl and insert halfway into the top of the bottle, which creates a thinner edge, preventing the "run down" effect.

I bought the Taylor Precision Products Connoisseur Series Chocolate Spatula Thermometer for my wife's birthday. The thermometer mounted inside the spatula cracked and broke on the 2nd use. The spatula is flexible while the thermometer mounted inside it isn't. This presents a major design flaw when stirring a viscous material like melted chocolate.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I don't know how much pressure the other reviewers were using, but I've used mine several times and it's still in one piece. The grey parts are flexible rubber while the white part is a hard plastic.

I love that the spatula and thermometer are combined, it's easier than trying to mix with a separate spatula and not keep knocking into the temperature probe attached to the side of the bowl... and the printed on guide to tell where the temperature should be is great since I keep forgetting what temperatures to keep it between for which kind of chocolate!

My only minor irritation is trying to clean itthe chocolate gets in between the thermometer and the spatula and it's kind of challenging to get it out... Oh well, lots of hot soapy water and it is all fine!

Best Deals for Taylor Connoisseur Chocolate Spatula Thermometer

This looked like a good design for melting chocolate. It worked well the first time. The spatula keeps the thermometer from touching the pan so you can stir and measure the temperature at the same time. However, mine also broke after the first use.

Honest reviews on Taylor Connoisseur Chocolate Spatula Thermometer

After 3 months of use all of the letters came off. I have a small candy business and use the product weekly, and temper chocolate, but lo and behold even the numbers on the side of the thermometer rubbed off. There are no other products like this so I'm not sure what my options are, but I definately want a replacement from the manufacturer.

I haven't broken mine yet but I immediately figured out how one could and decided that when I'm melting down my chocolate I would just use a much sturdier spatula...problem solved!

CucinaPro 9909 Stainless Steel Maslin Pan Review

CucinaPro 9909 Stainless Steel Maslin Pan
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

I had a granite 16 qt kettle, that I really liked, but after a year of use, the granite all chipped off, so I needed another pan. Even though this pan is only 2 gallon, I really liked the shape and decided to give it a try. It is the perfect size for a single batch of jelly, it is very easy to scoop out of and the last little bit you can pour out, because it has a pour spout. I ordered this thinking I would probably send it back, that it would probably be the strength of a pie pan, boy was I surprized. It is made out of 18/10 stainless steel and is a good quality pan. I used it all day and found it very easy to work with, it has a bail and a helper handle and a pour spout. At $34 it was a very good buy.

I ordered this pan in the midst of a jelly/jam making (and other assorted food in jars) frenzy. One of the old school make do or do without crowd, I had been using a big Calphalon Dutch oven to make jam because it is heavy enough not to burn the sugar at high temps. But after the millionth time of cleaning jam spatters off the walls, floor, and stovetop, I did some research and ordered this CucinaPro. It is simply beautiful...deep, heavy bottom, but light to lift and handle, and cooks jams perfectly. The smaller base boils quickly and the wider top provides lots of surface for evaporation. And it cleans up like a dream. As for the size...two gallons is huge for a home cook. That means no spattering of hot sugary mess. That means double batches of salsa. It will also mean clam chowder for a big crowd, I suppose, but I can't get by the beauty of the thing for jam making and canning right now. There aren't a lot of tools you REALLY need for canning...but this one has joined my list. Oh, and did I mention that the Amazon price is less than half other vendors?

Best Deals for CucinaPro 9909 Stainless Steel Maslin Pan

Very big pot, conducts heat well. Have used it for making jam, blanching beans and other harvest, and making pears in syrup for canning. Found it just right for my needs and very useful. The pouring handle, carrying handle, and pouring lip are useful too.

Honest reviews on CucinaPro 9909 Stainless Steel Maslin Pan

I love this pan! I have started cooking jams and preserves (following in my mother's footsteps!) and this is the ideal pan to use. I just have a normal stove, and this fits on one ring just fine. But it is nice and tall, and a really good shape, and so fits a lot of bubbling jam inside! Next batch will be home made marmalade...

I have a lot of experience using various brands of kitchen cutlery, including some from relatively obscure Japanese manufacturers, and I truly believe that this is the best bird's beak knife on the market. The most important thing in selecting a bird's beak knife is sharpness, and Shun knives are certainly among the very sharpest on the market today. The only comparable knife that I have used is the Global bird's beak knife, but this one has a much more comfortable handle than the Global does. Additionally, the Shun bird's beak knife is balanced better than the Global, and significantly sharper than similar knives from Wusthof and Henckels. There is also a Shun Stainless bird's beak knife, with the only difference being the stainless steel handle. Although not every kitchen absolutely needs a bird's beak knife, I highly recommend this one for those that do want one for peeling tough vegetables such as turnips and for specialized decorative garnishing.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Great for radishes and small items where the accuracy and control of the reverse curve blade are required. Also dynamite for removing the lead seal on wine bottles. "Sharp as a Shun" should be part of the vernacular. I love this bird's beak and use it more than I had imagined I would.

Best Deals for Shun DM0715 Classic 2-1/2-Inch Bird's Beak Knife

The bird's beak knife is often overlooked. I've never seen one included in a knife block set. Yet it has great utility and some unique properties. It's great for taking the stem portion out of tomatoes, strawberries, etc. It's also great for cutting perfect supremes from citrus. It certainly won't replace a good paring knife for all tasks, but it's a great addition to the kitchen and I use mine often.

Honest reviews on Shun DM0715 Classic 2-1/2-Inch Bird's Beak Knife

This is as close to perfection as I have seen in a bird's-beak knife in more than three decades of professional and home cooking. It is wickedly sharp right out of the box. I mean sharp as a razor. If your knife skills are limited, be careful. The shape of the handle is Shun's idea of perfection and I must admit it works well, especially for a right-hander. The handle is longer than most, an advantage for both balance and control.

Maintaining the edge of a curved blade like this takes a bit of skill. If you aren't entirely sure of yourself, ask a more experienced friend to show you how to do so. It would be a tragedy to damage the fine edge of this little work of art.

The downside? Like all Shun knives, it is insanely expensive. Still, you get what you pay for so go for it.

Reviews of Nordic Ware 2 Piece Angel Food Pan with Cooling Feet

Nordic Ware 2 Piece Angel Food Pan with Cooling Feet
Customer Ratings: 3.5 stars
Buy Now
First of all this is not what you are getting.

You will be getting a pan that has 3 feets?stand? stuck to the pan.

Just that is a real disappointment. I mean seriously who does that?

If you're going to send a pan that has feet then put up a photo that has feet!

OK so that was my first disappointment (not getting the same item as the listed photo)

But I managed to calm myself down and tried to look on the bright side.

With "FEET" it would be easier to place it upside down and you wont have to worry about tipping it over.

So I baked the cake with this pan with "FEET" and everything looked great coming out of the oven.

I turned it over and one of the "FEET" got bent (maybe because of the heat?) making it impossible to stand

straight and of course I tried to bend it back and burned myself... while icing my arm I'm thinking to myself

"Do I have to burn myself every time I bake it in this thing or is it like once in every 3 or 4 time kind of thingy?"

After it cooled I put the knife around the pan to release the cake but kept bumping it on the knob? the screw?

that holds the "FEET"

This is a major design flaw. There are 2 bumps for each "FEET" total of 6 bumps INSIDE of the pan which gets in the way.

If you're used to the pan with no bumps then you know how great it feels to slide your knife smoothly around the

pan and that exciting feel when you reach the end and you lift it up!

The most annoying part of all is the time and effort you have to put to clean this thing.

I only had one angel food cake pan prior to this so I can only compare it to this pan but it was sooo easy to clean.

Just soak it in water for a while and you use a sponge and it cleans right out. But this pan....it has so many nooks and crannies that

you need to use a brush to get it all out and that bump! Yes all 6 of them! The cake sticks around those bumps and gets in them.

There's also a cleft on the bottom part and the cake gets in there too.

Conclusion: If it's your first pan probably be OK with it because you would assume angel cake pans are all like this.

But if you had a normal simple 2 piece angelcake pan before then you will miss that pan and will regret you got this one.

Don't get me wrong the "FEET" is a great idea. But if there's going to be screws stuck out of the inside of the pan and it bends easily

as this one then you would be better off without it.

By the way you can't take the feet off because you will end up having holes through the pan if you do.

Update: As I wrote in one of the comments I ended up removing the "feet"

I have 6 holes and it does leak batter a little bit but is usable. I am surprised they haven't updated the photo

but have written "with cooling feet" in the title hahaha!

But I think I found THE pan. If you are looking for a simple plain angle food cake pan

"Parrish Magic Line Angel Food Pans"

This is probably the pan! It's also made in U.S.A compared to the Nordic is made in China.

It doesn't have feet but you can turn a glass cup over and put it on to cool no biggie :)

I was disappointed that this Nordic Ware pan was made in China. Most of my other Nordic Ware pans are made in the USA.

Best Deals for Nordic Ware 2 Piece Angel Food Pan with Cooling Feet

Good price for a very good quality pan. The cake bakes evenly and you don't need a wine bottle to invert it on cause it has 3 'little feet' attached on it, just invert it directly on the counter and let the cake cool. So easy and simple. Highly recommended.

Honest reviews on Nordic Ware 2 Piece Angel Food Pan with Cooling Feet

I was a bit uncertain whether I should purchase this as some feedbacks are negetive. But I still took the risk to order this pan to try as I trust Nordic Ware product. I received it this week & today I have baked the first Angel Cake in this tin. It is beautiful & have the pretty light brown colour which makes the cake so presentable as well as taste yummy. A non-stick bakeware can never achieve this result easily. Although cleaning up takes a longer time than non-stick bakeware, I still think it is worth. My advise is to handwash it throughly after every use and take a bit more efford by using a soft old tooth brush to brush away the crumbs that stick on the gaps/edges. To make it easy, I soak it in warm soapy water for 10 mins prior cleaning. Also, instructions say to avoid using acid or tomatoes as stains will occur. Of course, don't use shape object on it. Anyway, read the caring instruction before you use the tin.

Regarding the 3 little bumps inside the tin, it is a minor thing which does not worry me at all as not each time I make cake that raise up to that higher level. I am always very patient & very careful when I release a cake out of the tin. This is part of the joy & fun through the whole process making a cake for the family to enjoy...

Somewhat disappointed that it wasn't made as heavy as the product used to be made. I bought the exact pan a few years ago and decided to get another one. When it arrived I noticed right away that it had a lighter feel to it. I wish the company would go back to making it the way they used to. The old model was my favorite pan and I used it all the time. I use the new one often but it feels "cheaper".

I generally don't buy cookware with riveted handles, but I love the pouring spouts on this cookware. I have had the larger 3Qt pot with lid and pouring spout for several years. I love it and use it constantly ... so I thought I would give the smaller sauce pots a go!

I recently ordered two of the small, Wearever, 1.2 quart saucepans from Amazon ... and was terribly disappointed. One out of the two leaks badly at the left side pop rivet. Unfortunately, I walked away about one minute after putting my brand new pot on the stove. I was making a honey infused sauce. The mess this darned pot made of my rather expensive, stainless steel, Bosch gas stove was horrendous! By the time I came back to the stove (maybe three minutes later), about 1 inch of the liquid from the pot had leaked all over the surface of the stove and the flame from the burner cooked it onto the surface of the stove. It took quite some time and a lot of elbow grease to clean up. All I can say is thank God for the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They really are magic! Without them, my stovetop might have been permanently damaged.

I grew up using Wearever products and this experience has pretty much ended my relationship with them. Really poor quality control! How can ANY company sell a product with pop riveted handles and not at least test them to make sure the rivets don't leak? The other pot seems fine so far, but for obvious reasons, I don't have a lot of faith in it. I will certainly use it, but I intend to watch it like a hawk.

I live in the British Virgin Islands, so sending it back to the US really isn't worth the time, energy or postage. I threw it in the garbage. It's sad that things aren't made the way they used to be and that once trusted brand names seem to be losing user trust due to inferior quality control. Sigh.

For obvious reasons, I can't recommend this product. I really am sorry. Up until now I always thought Wearever was a very affordable and well made brand. Not so much anymore it seems. :(

I bought these pots for brewing beer in 1/2 bbl batches. They are a great bargain for the price. The vendor shipped them right away. Thunder group needs to stop putting their stickers on them though. I was not able to get it off of one of the kettles. (PITA). Packaging was comical, pot was in a large flimsy box and the only packing material was a single page of Chinese newspaper. It wasn't even the Chinese comics section...where's the fun in that? :-) The kettles themselves are great though.

I ordered this 60 qt (15gal) stock pot based on several reviews by other Home brewers. I just recently went to an All Grain method and needed to increase the size of the boil kettle. I was very pleased with the quality the price. Also pleased when the ordered showed up one day after I placed the order. I find the pot to be very well made and very sturdy for my application. I also added a 1/2 inch ball valve which makes transferring liquids much easier. In comparison to the aluminum pots that are offered from other companies, King Kooker etc. this is a much better quality of aluminum construction. For the brewers, I recommend boiling a full pot of water before you boil a batch of beer.

Best Deals for Thunder Group Aluminum Stock Pots

I got one of these (50qt) for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. It is thick, sturdy, and distributes heat well. Good handles. You may be wondering how this compares to the Winware Professional Aluminum 50 Quart Stockpot, which is currently $20 more expensive. I would say that the Winware has some small advantages. For one, I believe the Winware is slightly thicker (4.75mm vs. 4mm). Also, the rim of the Winware has a slight collar to strengthen it. The Thunder Group does not, which makes it more vulnerable to deformation.

That said, I'm not sure that either of these issues will ever cause me a real-world problem. In practice the Thunder Group pot performs admirably.

Honest reviews on Thunder Group Aluminum Stock Pots

Very happy with purchase, I am using this for homebrewing. The walls of the pot are nice and thick, you don't need to worry too much of dinging the pot up. It is comically large when placed in a normal persons kitchen. If you are upgrading your pot for homebrew one thing to think about is your immersion chiller, i need to either rewind mine or make a new one as this pot is much wider than my last pot and the top 1/4 of the coil is not actually immersed in the wort.
