I'm really not understanding the negative reviews for this product...this is revolutionary! I made roasted red & yellow pepper soup in 45 minutes and it was absolutely perfect restaurant quality. My secret?? I read the instruction manual. And I followed the recipe. My plan is to use recipes in the book they provide for the first several uses until I've truly got the hang of when to stir vs. when to blend & how/when/why the heat element stops.

My soup did not merely 'simmer', it came to a full, rolling boil. It was wonderfully hot when I sat down to it for dinner.

And cleaning could not get better!! I used a knife & cutting board. Since I didn't know my recipe well, I also needed a measuring cup & spoon, but beyond that everything else cooked in the blender. And after the soup was done? The top portion of the jug unscrews from the bottom collar with the 'chopping' attachment so that you can thoroughly wash the blade/heating element by hand and wash the jug in the dishwasher. The person who felt that everything tasted of garlic & onion on a subsequent use must not have discovered that the jug of the blender unscrews. (It comes screwed together in the box when you take it out, but if you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS did I mention that? it tells you that part.)

I love soup, so I'm not likely one to ask about smoothies, etc. I'll probably continue to use my hand blender to make a single serving smoothie and just use this blender for savory items. I'm very excited to use it again & again this winter!

Have been on the look out for this type of blender ever since I got to know of the Italian version of it at 5 times the price!! Cuisinart makes this very affordable model which cooks and blends ingredients to give you a beautifully finished soup, sauce or what ever you need which requires the saute, cook and blend process. Have tried it for soups at the moment and the results have been fantastic. Some prepping of vegetables needed as they need to be cut into small cubes; but i found that slicing them with a mandolin is a quicker way to get paper thin results which cook quicker and better in the bowl.

I recommend it highly for anyone with young children and for soup lovers of all ages. Accompanying booklet gives several options of what can be done with this machine

I ordered this on Monday and got it yesterday. I made a Butternut Squash soup out of it and it was execellent. I found in the cookbook that comes with it a tomoto soup and ginger butternut squash soup and I will be trying more stuff. I find that this is easier than the stove top and not other pans to get dirty. Everything is in the blender portion and I will be making a chuncky vegetable soup with beef stock to make it a little tastier.

Honest reviews on Cuisinart SBC-1000 Blend-and-Cook Soup Maker, Black

I'm probably the only person who was turned on to this appliance by my favorite bartender. Yep. Not kidding. He was talking about a "cleanse" he and his wife were doing and said he'd found this awesome Cuisinart thingie that made smoothies and soups. I was skeptical, but went home and started Googling.

He paid $200 at Williams-Sonoma, but Amazon came through with $150 plus free shipping. I was still skeptical.

I'm not the review-writing type, but I have to say this is the single best kitchen appliance I've ever had. I've had it for exactly 48 hours and I've made the yummiest Coconut Butternut Squash soup, an eggplant and red bell pepper veggie spread, and now tomato soup. For each recipe, here's my total cleanup damage: 1 knife, 1 cutting board, and the machine. That's it. If we were going vegetarian, I swear this is the one gadget that would get me there.

I don't know what people mean when they say their machine gets the food lukewarm. Literally within 45 seconds of turning it on to heat oil, butter, etc, my machine is ready for the next step---usually onions and garlic. When I made the tomato soup, everything goes in at once, and it was bubbling hot within 1-2 minutes.

I can't wait to try more recipes. I have limited kitchen space and this machine will do so much with so little space.

To my bartender----thank you!!!! (I'll tell him in person when we go out to eat again, but that may be awhile because I'm in love with my soup maker.)

I had similar problems as was stated by a previous review about the temperature. Mine boiled too much and on medium was too cool. After using this twice I realized there had to be something wrong with it. I didn't think it would be selling if it worked like this. I returned it for another and problem solved! My new on works perfectly. And as others say, quick, and very little mess. It is true that you will have to use the instruction booklet for a while but after that it is really easy. One good tip is to use the brush included for cleaning the blade and around the blades. Also, I found that to let sauces or soups thicken I needed to open the circular top, to let some of the steam escape. Some soups need an extra 30 minutes, so you will have to set the timer again. But once you work with it for a while it is a good kitchen appliance.

The Waring Pro W050B Cordless wine opener is just fantastic. I received one when redeeming my points from my credit card. I was so impressed with it that I quickly got online to find where I could purchase more. Amazon directed me in the right direction. I have purchased 3 more openers, one for each of my sisters. All of them agree it is one of the better birthday gifts they have recieved. It works well, just as demonstrated on the Waring video I viewed before ordering. I did read reviews from other owners and that helped me make the choice of this product. I recommend this product for anyone looking for a wonderful gift or one for themselves.

The Opener itself worked great. The Charging base quit working 2 months after I received it. Called Waring and they would replace it if I send the whole product back costing me at least another $10 to $12 in postage (very heavy) for an already expensive opener compared to others. I was willing to spend more for what I thought would be a quality product. They would cover the postage of the replacement back to me. Resulting in me having over $50 in a wine opener that as far as I know could suffer the same fate in a couple of months as the first one. I feel they should have covered the return postage so I would not have had more invested and they could show they FULLY stand behind their products.

Will not buy ANYTHING from Waring again and advise anyone to consider this when they are ordering. I threw this one away and bought an Oster. Warranties that keep costing me money on the same item is no good to me.

If the battery gets below 2 volts you might as well throw the opener away, because it can not be charged! There is a design flaw that will not allow the unit too be recharged

This corkscrew does not work with plastic corks.

Once the cork is extracted you must use a screwdriver to wedge the cork against the wall of the opener to get enough traction to remove the cork from the opener.

I love Le Creuset products and this one is no exception. When the box arrives, you will see that it says 30 CM/11 3/4" inches in diameter. While under the actual pan itself it does say 12" inches as the Amazon description states, measured, the actual cooking space is 11 3/4". Also, it is not mentioned anywhere on the box or instructions but going on the Le Creuset website, I found that both the pan and splatter guard are made in China. For those that prefer an American/European made product (as I do but it is hard nowadays to not have an Asian made product somewhere in your home), this may not be for you. The construction of the pan is great. It is heavier than my 13" All Clad Stainless Steel non-stick pan and I love the fact that this pan is thicker than any other pan in its class. The sides are 1/4" in thick which results in superior heat retention with no hot spots. I have used Anolon, Circulon, All-Clad etc and (with the exception of select cast iron cookware) no other brand that I have seen/used makes their product this thick. I use induction and this pan heats up so quickly, that high heat is not necessary and use of high heat voids the warranty. For those of you that like a pan that you can start on high right off the bat, stay away! The pan is oven compatible to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and you can purchase a glass lid for this pan for $25 on the Le Creuset website. The splatter guard is solid and not flimsy resulting in a perfect job of catching oil. The instructions say metal utensils can be used, but scratches coming from using metal utensils void the warranty. Also, there is a seasoning process that is done prior to you using the pan for the first time and for those that like to use the dishwasher on their cookware, it is advised to do this seasoning process after every dishwasher cleaning session to maintain the non-stick.

needed a large skillet and a new splatter guard. this does the trick. distributes heat well and cleans up beautifully. the dual opposing handles are a good idea; otherwise, i probably wouldn't be able to lift a full skillet. my only disappointment is in trying to find the lid that fits it. it needs both a lid (preferable see-through) and a splatter guard to be the perfect product.

We use this set almost daily, and it is the best skillet and screen I've ever used! Le creuset hasn't disappointed yet

Honest reviews on Le Creuset Forged Hard Anodized Skillet Set

This pan is ridiculously non-stick, and thicker than my cheap teflon pans. This causes the pan to retain heat better and cook much more evenly. I also can't imagine that it will warp with the stainless steel bottom. I have a (warped) T-fal saute pan, and the lid fits nicely on this skillet.

It heats up and browns evenly in medium heat. It comes with a splatter guard. I had the same 11.5 pan. It is a bit deeper and wider.

This pretty well completes my collection of Chef's Classic cookware. It arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. I have a small range so I particularly favor this pan over the long-handled 12" skillet with helper handle. Cleanup is also easier since the pan, without the longer handle, will sit flat in the sink.

I continue to believe that, other than All-Clad (USA), Calphalon Contemporary (China), and Anolon Advanced (Thailand), there is no better brand of stainless steel cookware. The reader should note that the first 3 have an aluminum core wrapped by stainless on each side and, unsurprisingly, each is far more expensive than the Cuisinart Chef's Classic line, with its heavy aluminum bottom disk.

This pan, at $24.95, is a bargain that will not last much longer. It should make a wonderful Christmas gift to the most discerning of chefs.

Cuisinart has two different grades of cookware. I've bought a couple of sets and seven or eight seperate pieces of what used to be called Chef's Classic over the last five or six years, and I love it!. One time I mistakenly ordered a set of the cheaper lighter weight pans. I quickly returned the set. That is what this pan is. I ordered it, and I'll keep it, but it's far inferior to what I already have. This is not nearly as well made. I see they now have a MultiClad Pro line... Seems as if they changed the names.

Best Deals for Cuisinart 725-30D Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan

I've had this product for a month now, from Amazon. Thank You!

This pan is great for casseroles, paella, chicken & dumplings, veal marsala, etc. It's manufactured to the same standards as the rest of the Classic line, with the exception of the handles. If one inspects the image closely, it's obvious that the width of the handles parallel to the rim are narrower than that of the helper handles on companion products; however this does allow more space for oven mitts and potholders, which I enjoy as it's generally a single move from oven to table.

Of particular note, the cost of a domed twelve inch lid of this diameter direct from Cuisinart is $60 alone. The lid on this pan will fit any Cuisinart Classic pan with a model number ending in "-30" including the twelve inch frying pan and the 5.5 quart saut? pan. So if one needs to gain head space, allow for expansion, or configure an ad hoc Dutch Oven this is a bargain price.

For this product, I consider the lid to be less than half price and the pan to be free. I'm now a satisfied owner of twenty-four pieces of the Cuisinart Classic line. This may be the last, depending upon what Amazon presents in the future.

Honest reviews on Cuisinart 725-30D Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan

This is an incredibly useful and versatile pan, and attractive enough to both cook and serve from. I purchased it specifically for bringing to potluck dinner parties, and used it the first day I received it to make jambalaya. The heat distribution was lovely, nothing stuck while I was sauteeing the veggies, and the rice was fluffy and evenly cooked no scorched spots.

I've been using Cuisinart cookware for almost eighteen years, and while the products have gone through some disappointing phases, this one is a sound bargain and worth well more than twice the price.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Cuisinart 725-30D Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan

I got this pan on kind of an impulse, after seeing all of the positive reviews and the reasonable price. The short version of this review is that its good; very good.

I should note, however, that given all of the positive reviews, you shouldn't assume its just a magical pan (though it actually is) when you first get it.

The truth is that the pan by itself is just mediocre, and it does require that you follow the tried and true steps to keeping your food from sticking to stainless steel cookware (just heat your pan up for a few minutes, and add cold oil, and when you add your proteins, make sure you don't let them sit on the pan for the first 10-15 seconds of cooking, and you'll be good to go). The pan itself is beautiful and shiny, but its not the most conductive pan, and the large size makes it so that you get cold spots around the edges. Also, because the pan is designed with a multi-layer bottom rather than being multi-ply, the sides won't ever really heat up. These things, however, are irrelevant, because you're not just buying a pan, you're buying a pan AND an amazing lid.

This pan's forte is cooking large, saucy dishes. I've found that its my new favorite pan for saucy pastas, and the green curry i made in the pan last night was the best i've ever made. Because it is a big pan, you can fit all of the saucy goodness and vegetables and other things you'd like to fit, but because its shallow, it'll get those sauces to a simmer very quickly (like i said, the center of the pan simmers while the outside stays cool, at least on my electric cooktop, but its still overall much faster than any pot). Because the pan doesn't conduct heat all the way to the outsides, it requires a bit of stirring, but its not difficult, like gently folding your sauce in on itself.

The real magic happens, though, when you move from the sauté and reducing your sauce to the part where you just want it to simmer. At this point, you might put the lid on, and some really great chemistry happens to make your dish come alive. Because of the lid's shape, the steam rising from the dish gets redirected to the edges of the pan, and will get your whole dish simmering and melding flavors together while keeping your protein from drying out.

The pan is really beautiful, and once you're done cooking, you'll probably just want to bring it right to the table, because it really does look that good.

As far as cleanup goes, I've found that I end up deglazing the pan to make some type of sauce, so anything that was stuck when i started cooking is long gone by the time i'm done, and the slight discolorations that I've had from occasionally burning something in the pan (oops!) were taken care of with a little barkeeper's friend, no sweat.

This is a great pan, and its added a whole new level of flavor to my curries and pasta sauces. It feels like its going to last a long time in my kitchen!

This is a very nice rack. Solidly built, nice finish, and the half circle shape looks nice.

A quick note about mounting this. A previous reviewer said it is not possible to mount this on wall studs. This is only partially correct. This rack has three holes: two on the half circle, and one on the middle bar (the part that extends vertically). The two holes on the circle are spaced exactly 16 inches apartthis is the correct spacing for wall studs. The third hole is right in the middle of the other two holes so unless you have some strange wall studs you will not be able to attach this to a stud. Although the instructions say that you need to attach all 3 points to studs, the rack hangs absolutely fine if you only attach 2/3 points. Just make absolutely sure that that you attach both points to studs (this is a must!) and that you use a *toggle bolt* for the third pointthese are very strong bolts that can hold 200+ lbs by themselves. We've mounted ours with two wall studs and a toggle bolt and it is 100% sturdy. We can fully load it up with six heavy pans and it's very stable.

So, don't be afraid because of the other reviewer's comments.

This unit works very well in an area that does not have a ton of room. I installed this in my apartment very easily and it works great. If I had more room I would have gone for a ceiling mount, but this is perfect for a wall mount unit. The area I installed it in had no real studs to drill in to as they are metal and framed on the edges of this wall spot. I used 3, 200 lb toggle bolts instead and it holds fine and is very sturdy .

I love my half circle wall cookware rack! I measured my space and explored many options for cookware racks and this one suited my needs the best. I have it hanging above my kitchen window so it doesn't interfere with traffic in the kitchen. It is heavy, sturdy and supports all my cookware beautifully! Sam, Minnesota

Honest reviews on Cuisinart Chef's Classic Half-Circle Wall-Mount Pot Rack

The package comes with all the hardware you need to install, 3 lag bolts and a 3/16" toggle bolt (in case you can't find 3 studs in the right places). I purchased my own toggle bolts after reading other reviews, but it turns out I didn't even need it. It feels sturdy enough to easily hold the weight of 6 pans (I have two 12" skillets, two 10" skillets, and two large saute pans hanging on mine). Installation was simple enough to do by myself. The brushed stainless steel finish goes beautifully with SS cookware. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it seems pricey for what you get but it's fine functionally and aesthetically.

It's big, it's black, it's cast iron! I had the 15in skillet in my wish list for a long time when this one showed up in my gold box. I didn't even mind paying the higher price for a pre-seasoned piece which is a bonus for a skillet of this size. The two smaller handles on this one make it even easier to get in and out of the oven, not to mention giving it a better fit. It works just find on the stove top but will over hang the side a bit. A damp towell on the counter will help if your counter is not high heat proof. If you cook big meals for big crowds you're probably already in love with cast iron. Put this one on your list. And thank you Amazon; not many companies will wave shipping on somthing as heavy as cast iron.

With proper care this pan will last more than a lifetime. Most of the Cast Iron pans made in the late 1800's are still floating around. This pan can last that long too. While this pan is hugh and can cook lots and lots of food. It is better suited for outdoor cooking on a Campfire or a Turkey fryer base than useing in a kitchen. It is pretty big for a stove as you can have two burners heating it at once. I am glad I bought this pan. I also bought a smaller skillet for use on my home stove.

But for campfire cooking this is one of the most versitle pieces out there, you can fry in it, use it a a griddle and make monster pancakes. You can even whip up a big batch of Chili. If you like camping or even backyard cooking this is a must have. I like to use mine with a Turkey deepfryer base as the heating element it works great.

I bought this specifically for making my homemade pizza. I've found that baking pizza in a cast iron skillet that was generously coated with shortening yielded wonderful results, whether one preferred thick (my choice), or thin crust (my wife's choice). It turns out a pastry-like crust that my extended family raves over. (Be sure to use a generous amount of olive oil in the dough..4 tablespoons per two cups of flour..)Baking it at 500+ degrees is also part of the secret. This big boy lets me make a hearty pizza main course for four to five hungry adults. The cast iron also retained heat for quite a while, once out of the oven, so that my pizza stayed warm until the last slice had been eaten. Clean-up was a breeze..just wipe the pan out with a paper towel and give it a spray of cooking oil.

Honest reviews on Lodge L17SK3 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet, 17-inch

Yes, it's heavy, doesn't fit on a regular stove, & heats unevenly with small burners. I bought it to use on a large high output outdoor burner, it's perfect for my use. I can cook a whole pound of bacon at once and deep fry enough crab rangoon at once to actually enjoy the party. Not a pan that I use very often, but when I do, nothing else comes close to it's utility.

This pizza knife is big, sharp and easy to handle. It works great with both small and large cut pizzas. It looks intimidating but really handles nice. It is also impressive when you are cutting pizza for show. I have a pizza catering business and this pizza knife offers a different way to cut pizzas rather than using the roller type pizza cutter. Most of my clients love watching the whole process of making, baking and cutting the pizza. It is bulky so you may have to find a place to store it.

This knife is a great alternative to those wheels that push the toppings all around. There's no reason to go into pizza cutting details, so I'll just mention some unexpected things. (1) This knife is VERY big, as it needs to be to do it's job, but good luck finding a place in the kitchen to store it. I wedge mine into the side of a cabinet. (2) My cutting board has a raised edge, and the knife contacts the edge, stopping it from coming down far enough to cut through the crust adjacent to that edge of the cutting board. (3) The little handle on top of the blade is just that, little. It works, but I would prefer a bigger little handle. Overall, I like it because it cuts the pizza without mangling it.

Best Deals for American Metalcraft PPK17 Stainless Steel Pizza Knife with POM

This sharp and sturdy rocker kinfe makes straight cuts quickly and easily. The 18" blade allows me to cut completely through a large pizza with one motion. The blade stays clean compared to roller type cutters and the rocking action cuts toppings neatly and makes short work of crust. At a total length of 23.5", with a double handle and a nicely curved blade, this knife is a pleasure to use. I was surprised at the size and bulk of this pizza cutter. I am very happy with my purchase.

Honest reviews on American Metalcraft PPK17 Stainless Steel Pizza Knife with POM

Extremely sharp and long enough to cut any size pizza. It cleans up easily with soap and water. I would not recommend putting this in the dishwasher, ours went through a standard cycle once and the handle pulled away slightly from the tang at the base of the blade. I did have to put some special thought into storage for this giant piece of kitchen hardware!

Fits nicely on the wall in my teeny-tiny kitchen. I've got it set up to hold 6 pots and pans plus a couple of small items, and my cookbooks are up on top. It's perfect for about that amount of stuff (especially after I wall-mounted a lid holder next to it).

It's attractive, it's sturdy, and it was actually surprisingly easy to install. They include a set of high-end anchors that allows this to be installed *anywhere* on the (drywall not plaster) wall, instead of requiring that you mount it on a stud. That means it's possible to put it exactly where you want it.

First off I would like to say that this rack was not difficult to assemble as some reviews have said. It only has about 6 pieces and there was really nothing tricky to it at all. I had it assembled and on the wall in less than 1/2 hour.

This rack does seem a little overpriced, but it is very good quality and quite heavy duty. This fit perfectly in my kitchen pantry and is holding five frying pans and two strainers. Plus I have a pressure cooker and a couple of mixing bowls on the shelf. My wife is thrilled with it.

One thing I should mention is that it really takes two hands to take a frying pan off of it. You really need to hold the hook with one hand and slide the pan off with the other. Otherwise the hook will come off the rack when trying to slide the pan off. I suppose you could crimp the hook down a little more to help prevent this, but seeing as we hung ours at a height where it is easy enough to hold the hook, it is really not an issue.

Great little rack that freed up quite a bit of cupboard space!

Best Deals for Rack It Up Book Shelf Pot Rack

Excellent item, very well made-heavy duty. Holds my professional clad pans with ease and the shelf top is perfect for the overflow. Amazingly low profile, this rack holds a lot in a small space. Perfect for a little kitchen. Very happy with this item.

Honest reviews on Rack It Up Book Shelf Pot Rack

I want to like the rack. It is a good price. It is solidly built. It looks really sharp. It comes with nice hardware to let you hang it on a drywall wall without studs.

However, it is quite a pain to put together. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, so I generally think I am good at following directions. I have had great success with Ikea directions. However, the directions on this thing kicked my butt. I had to read most lines 10 times to understand what it meant. Then I would still miss some subtle detail and have to redo the step. Trying to get the sides aligned perfectly square so that the holes would be the prescribed 20.75 inches apart was very hard. You would adjust it one way, and it would lean the other way. So much harder to get square than it should have been. The bolts I was working on were also very soft, so after 2 or 3 adjustments they would be stripped out, and that was all the adjustments you can do.

The included hardware assumes no studs. So if there is a stud where you want to hang it, you are out of luck. The included hardware also assumes 1.75" of empty space behind the drywall. If both these conditions are met, it will work great. If you have less than 1.75" of space behind your drywall, you will need to find another way to mount it.

So in conclusion, if you are good at reading complicated directions, and want a sturdy pot rack for a good price, get this guy. If you are not very handy, you might be better off with a different one.

I needed more space for my smallish kitchen and I knew a pot rack would be a bonus but I wanted one that was wall oriented and small enough to fit anywhere. I searched the site and read all the reviews of this item and the references to small kitchens so I took a chance and am I thrilled with it!!!! I got the extra Calphalon hangers and used all of them for pans and lids and utensils etc I couldn't say enough good about this product!

This pot looks real sturdy out of its box. Quantanium by Whitford non-stick coating. There are some controversies about Teflon and this non-stick coating stating that it would emit fume. Well, my cooking would definitely emit fume if I let it burnt. I read the info online and did my mini research and believe that it's safe. And it should last a long time even with my abuse. We shall see. The coating is over steel and not aluminum which people said that it can cause Alzheimers and other diseases. Threw all my aluminum cook pots out a while ago and not sure if that would fix my impending debilitating mental state. It can be used on any kind of cooking stuff including induction, a real plus for me not having to stick with all steel pots that would stick to things! I bought the "rose" design and do like the purple design better but a sale eliminated all doubts. Rose looks a bit cheesy to me.

Probably Made in China although I looked everywhere for such mark and could not find it. Other countries have no problems displaying the origin of their products. China does.

I like this pot and do recommend it when on sale. Probably very easy to clean. Quite heavy. Enamel on the outside, so harder to clean on the outside. My guesss that with time the lid will have tiny rust line at the enamel steel rim like other enamel steel pots that I had. Just a guess though and this should not hurt much of anything. I have always removed the rust with steel wool and keep rust away by drying such item after washing.

At first I was nervous about getting a pan without the long handle and how I would hold it while draining ground beef, but now that I have this one I couldn't be happier. My husband works a 12 hour night shift and I have to send him with a healthy meal that is not only easy to cook but quick and easy for him to microwave and eat at work. So I started making him all-in-one skillet meals sort of like Hamburger Helper only healthier with veggies and whole wheat pasta.

I was worried about the chemicals in nonstick cookware and I was getting tired of always knocking the long handle of my skillet and nearly dropping the whole thing off the stove. It took several days of research to find and choose this pan. There are very few other everyday pans with a clear lid and this one had no reviews but I gave it a shot and it's exactly what I needed. Stainless is a bit tricky to cook with and it takes some practice. I have to use a lower flame with this pan because it heats up quickly and retains heat so well.

It's not nonstick so you have to use oil to cook and you have to wait for the oil to heat up before putting anything into it. At first it may seem to be terrible with food sticking to the bottom, but it will release once the food is fully cooked and it's not hard to clean if something does stick to it, just soak a bit in warm soapy water and give it a good scrub with a green scouring pad. That may be the best part as it will sit flat in the bottom of my sink where my old traditional skillet with the long handle would not fit so it had to be soaked on the counter.

This pan can also go into the oven and I can bake seasoned chicken breast in it which means that this pan also replaced some old bakeware. The fewer items I have to store in my kitchen, the better.

Overall, this was a great purchase and I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace that old rusty nonstick skillet.

I bought this skillet to replace a non-stick skillet that was starting to wear. I am trying to replace all my non-stick with stainless for several reasons but mainly because stainless just lasts so long. I have another Cuisinart pot that is from the 80's, which I use several times a week, wash in the dishwasher and it is still in great condition.

This pot is just the right size for most the meals I cook for my family of four. I love that it has a glass lid and that is can go in the dishwasher. I also like how it doesn't have a longer handle so it doesn't take up as much space in my cabinet. The handles do get warm, but I'm used to using pot holders with my other pots so it's not an issue for me. It cleans up pretty well although I do notice if I soak it for a little bit before going into the dishwasher, it does help.

For the price it's selling at, I think this is a great deal and I hope to use it for years to come.

Picked this up for my Uncle Joe for Christmas, and he can't stop raving about it.

Only complaint he has about the pan is that instructions state not for high heat cooking.

Even though his stove is crooked the pan seems to cook pretty evenly for being two pieces.

Two pieces, meaning the pan is not one solid piece of metal,

So far so good... Knock on wood.

I had this in my cart but found it locally for the same price and I could have it immediately! I just love it! Replaces an old non-stick I didn't want to use anymore and actually it cleans up well with a little soak. That is worth it to me not to be ingesting the non-stick material. It is heavy, sturdy, heats evenly, can go in the oven, and doesn't have a long handle to work around. I have a flat surface cooktop and even heavy pans can spin if the handle is accidentally hit dangerous. I really like the glass lid so that I can see without removing the lid and letting heat escape.

My parents who live in Germany actually got me to try this pan. After over 3 years of use there is no chip or cracking and I use this pan a lot. Whenever I make pork chops I fry them at a very high temperature first. That was really bad for my teflon pans since you should only use those at low temps.

Before purchasing the Woll pan I contacted the main company in Germany and they confirmed that their products can be used at high temps. It does not seem to hurt this pan at all. The only thing you should do is to heat up the pan first and then put the oil in. Also do not use butter or low heat oils while cooking at high temperature. That is not good for any pan. I usually use Crisco.

I also handwash all my pots and pans.

Over time I will replace all my pots and pans with Woll products!!!

Excellent quality, built like armor plate of a German Tiger Tank. The handle detaches and re-attaches solidly without any wobble. You can heat it all day long on the stove without food and it will not hurt the titanium coating one bit (try THAT with Teflon!) Make crepes, omelets and delicious Chinese potstickers without a single drop of oil. The pan just wipes clean. Love it! 5-stars.

This pan is fabulous. It never even makes it into a drawer in our house. It seems to stay on the burner top as is used nearly every day since purchased in July. The pan replaced another non-stick pan that started to deteriorate and now that I have it, I wish I hadn't waited so long. It browns beautifully, is a great size, very easy to clean, and the ability to remove the handle and go directly into the oven makes the price more than worth it. To be honest, I am not always good about the utensils that are used with it and still the pan looks as if it showed up from Amazon yesterday.

I bought this for my best friend who had a old and scratched Teflon pan which freaked me out considering how bad this for your health and she's feeding her growing kids withe scratched Teflon!!!! OMG! This pan is amazing. cooks nicely, cleans easy, and is detachable so it can fit in the cubbards and the oven if its too small... expensive but will last a lifetime... unlike the cheap Teflon cancer inducing pans.

Very good so far. Excellent nonstick coating. The handle could have been better (Uncomfortable to hold & gets a little hot. I don't know about the durability yet but so far it seems to be holding up. With all non stick coatings you have to baby & treat them gentle when cooking & washing. Otherwise they will break down. Medium heat to cook with & mild or very little soap to wash with (ALL NON STICK COOKWARE). We'll see in time how good it is. So far so good.

It's so hard to find slow cooker with temperature measurements. They are always, high, low, and warm and take forever to get up to temp. You get results right away with this. Easy clean up as well.

This is my 2nd 6 Quart Nesco Roaster. My 1st still works and I gave it to a friend it is 25 years old. I wanted the new one due to the glass lid. Use it at least once every 2 weeks, it is the best! I also own the 12 quart and 18 quart Nesco Roasters.

This is a great cooker. It slow cooks, fast cooks and everything in between. One reason I picked it was the non-stick cook pot.

Nothing sticks, the cleanup is easy and quick and it is so lightweight compared to the older crockery type. Also unbreakable.

Love the size and shape too.
