Love the color of this, and it's easy to cook with and clean, like all her signature pots and pans. Love the pour spout. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with a lid.

Spout is not useful at all, liquids poured from it drips along the sides. Not good for pouring out liquids from this.

The best tea kettle I've ever had! I read all the different reviews for all the different Brands of stainless tea kettles & decided to take a chance on this one. I use it several times a day, EVERY day so far, no rust! I love the seamless shape (no fused bottom to worry about leaks or other problems). The stainless lid fits nice & tight (no worry about popping off when tilting the kettle to pour) & fully removes for a nice wide opening for cleaning. The shape is clean & timeless. The whistle is loud enough to be heard in another part of the house. The handle is super comfortable, with a well-placed, easy-open mechanism for large or small or arthritic hands. It may get a little warm to the touch when the water boils, but certainly NOT hot or uncomfortable no potholder needed! My only negative comment is that my kettle arrived without any paperwork no shipping or return info from Amazon & no brochure or paperwork with care or warranty info from the manufacturer. After notifying both, I'm still without that info. But I DO love this kettle!

I bought this tea kettle elsewhere but I wanted to share my experience. I used this kettle daily. Steam came out of the spout and at the water lid (I couldn't get it too tight or I'd never get it off) thereby decreasing the power of the whistle, which ended up close to non-existent. The bottom had begun to rust inside and so I had 'floaters' that had nothing to do with my tea. I only had it for a couple of months so kudos to the Chinese manufacturers that have put together another fine product. It's in the garbage and I'm shopping for another kettle.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She called me to let me know that the tea kettle did whistle and she was very pleased.

Fox Run Stainless Steel 3-Piece Asparagus Cooker Set Reviews

Fox Run Stainless Steel 3-Piece Asparagus Cooker Set

This cooker is very light weight steel. It looks good and functions well, but will probably not be kitchen quality for very many years. After just a few uses, the steel is beginning to "pit" in the bottom. This leads me to believe that this pot was not made with high quality stainless steel.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The basket is NOT stainless steel on the one I bought. Rusts quickly and then leaves rust stains in bottom of pot during storage. The wires are too widely spaced in the basket to hold small asparagus spears. Pot is okay, lid a little thin but okay.

I really like this pan. I use it everday for almost everything. There are two drawbacks, the first is the rounded edges. It is hard to spoon food out of the pan. The second is the handle. I have burned my fingers twice because some of the hand is not coated with silicon.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The Simply Calphalon Everyday Pan is a joy to use. Its design is simple and elegant and the pan is wide enough to fry, stir-fry, and cook everything from asparagus spears to skillet lasagna. The handles have a non-slip grip that also stay cool to the touch. The only thing I wish is that it was 3 inches deeper so food wouldn't spill out of it when stirring.

Best Deals for Simply Calphalon Nonstick 12" Everyday Pan & Cover

This pan is what it says, it is a 12 inch everyday pan. It is made of sturdy materials. I do like the non stick coating. Clean up is a breeze. It is however, a lot more shallow than I anticipated. I expected something more Wok-like in depth. Also the dome lid is not as "domed" as I would have hoped. Both of these factors make me glad I did not throw out my old everyday pan. Still looking for the perfect one.

Honest reviews on Simply Calphalon Nonstick 12" Everyday Pan & Cover

As others have written the pan has too shallow of sides. This would be the perfect pan as it offers a large surface area to saute or cook with. Unfortunately the pan has shallow pan sides meaning when you try to stir or saute the food tends to fall out onto the stove top.

The pan seems to heat evenly and offers a large surface area to cook steaks or hamburgers. I probably would not try frying chicken or stir-frying in this pan due to its shallow pan sides.

Recommend.

I wasn't sure I would like the double handles instead of one being a standard long handle, but it is nice to not have to rotate the pan around to fit on the stovetop with other burners in use.

The pan cleans up nice and the lid fits well. I used it in the oven to bake scalloped potatoes and they turned out great.

I haven't tried to cook eggs without a bit of butter or oil yet, but I haven't used much of either one when cooking and have no problems with sticking. We use it almost every day.

This review is from: Telebrands Orgreenic, 10-Piece Set (Kitchen)

I cancelled a previous Amazon Review of the OrGreenic pans so that I could write about an interesting discovery. THERE ARE DIFFERENT KINDS OF ORGREENIC PANS BEING SHIPPED OUT BY TELEBRANDS EVEN IN THE SAME SHIPMENT.

I AM NOT GOING TO RATE THE COOKING SURFACES BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT BE LOGICAL TO DO SO SINCE YOU MAY NOT HAVE THE SAME ORGREENIC PANS THAT I DO. I HEARTILY SUGGEST THAT PERSONS INTERESTED IN NEW, SAFER NON-STICK COOKWARE PURCHASE FROM NAME BRANDS THAT HAVE A TRACK RECORD IN THE COOKWARE INDUSTRY. Also, at the end of this review I am including excerpts of the OrGreenic warranty, which is NOT the same thing TeleBrands SAYS in their advertisements. On their website and in their commercials, they say, "If Orgreenic ever dulls or damages, even if it is your fault, we'll replace it" and "Your cookware will last a lifetime or we'll replace it". (I was totally unable to find a copy of the warranty online.)

_______________________________________________________________________________________

My first order for OrGreenic pans was via the internet in response to a television ad (not an infomercial I have never watched an infomercial on the OrGreenic pans). The special offer was 2-10" "frying" (saute) pans (with the usual single handle) and a larger 12" dual-handled saute pan. The $$$ deal ended up being good for 3 pans even if they had been Mirro (the brand I usually purchased and discarded when worn out).

When those 3 pans arrived, due to a very junky cardboard shipping carton and inadequate inner packing, all 3 were damaged. I reported the 2 worse damaged ones since they had gouges in the cooking surfaces made by the rivets on the backs of the pans that were stacked inside of them. I expected a hassle, but the person on the phone promised immediately to replace them and did not request that I return the damaged pans.

ALL THREE OF THOSE PANS WERE IDENTICAL. The inner surfaces were identical in shade of green. The rims were "naked" of coating, and the outsides of the pans all had a gray coating that proved to be extremely delicate and scratched the first time they were used on a gas range with metal grates over the burners. Personally, I did not care that the outsides had scratched because I was only concerned with the inner coating's performance.

The replacement pans took many weeks to arrive. I received 2 postcard notices in the mail that stated, "Due to the huge demand . . . ", etc., reassuring me that the pans would be shipped as soon as possible.

When the replacement pans finally arrived, the first thing I noticed was that the handles on the dual handled 12" saute pan were at a different angle. I immediately suspected that they had gotten bent in shipping that is, until I compared the new 12" dual handled pan to the previous one. That is when I realized that I had 2 completely DIFFERENT PANS. The handles appeared to be cast on the new pan and stamped on the original pan. The inner coating on the new pan was noticeably darker, the rim was coated unlike the previous pan's uncoated rim, and the coating on the back of the pan was also different. The external coating on the new pan was much harder, and there was a pattern in it that looked much like the concentric line on an old phonograph record, rather than the plain, soft grey coating on the outside of the original 12" dual handled saute pan. The stamped in logo indicia on the bottom of the pan was also different on the new 12" dual handled saute pan from the one in the previous pan. Also, the new dual-handled 12" saute pan is slightly larger and weighs more on the scale, and noticeably so when picked up with one hand.

The new 10" saute pan was different from the previous ones, and DEFINITELY ALSO DIFFERENT FROM THE NEW 12" dual handled saute pan. It appears to be an absolutely different 3rd version of the OrGreenic pans. It has a bare rim like the original 2-10" saute pans and the original 12" dual-handled saute pan had. Its cooking surface looks similar to the original 10" pan, but the outside has yet a third version of coating and again another, slightly different logo/indicia stamped into its bottom. Its handle is different yet from any of the other pans.

When you first get this cookware be sure to follow directions! it tells you put veggie oil on the entire (green)surface then wipe dry. You will have to repeat this ONCE per YEAR. Afterward it works great! even burnt on gravy or stir fry comes right off with just a paper towel or running water. Do not Scrub or use metal utensils and it really will last. We've had ours for 6 months and it's still going strong.. and my husband is very destructive.. he's burnt three pans that had to be throw away. Orgreenic has saved us so much money cause now he can burn food and not ruin the pan!

Best Deals for Telebrands Orgreenic, 10-Piece Set (Including Lids)

The green is coming off a pot with just my fingernail!!! I didn't even use this item yet. I called Orgreenic directly and they want me to pay for the shipping fee for the replacement which I don't believe is fair because they were never used. Don't buy a product that the manufacturer will not stand behind without charging you.

Honest reviews on Telebrands Orgreenic, 10-Piece Set (Including Lids)

The second time I've cooked with these, food had started to cling to the pan (even with a bit of butter, because I don't believe anything is truly "nonstick"). This was a complete waste of money, and I can't figure out how these pans are supposed to be somehow environmentally friendly--is it because they're green? Because other than the color, they resemble like any other pan one might find in a dollar store.

We decided this year to give the Alton Brown roast turkey a try. One thing that I didn't have was a roasting rack. I set out in search of the same one that he used with no success of finding it. The next best thing is this rack. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be large enough for the 20lb turkey we were roasting. In use it turned out to plenty long but a little narrow. The wings ended up resting on and sticking to the baking sheet. I was able to cut them free with little trouble. The other complaint I had with this rack involves the handles. Specifically that they swing out flat when not being used to lift the turkey. This tended to get in the way a bit when moving the bird into the oven. I would still rather have these handles than no handles at all like some other racks. I would give this rack five stars if it were a little wider and if the handles would stay more vertical when not in use.

i didn't want a non-stick coated rack; didn't want a non-adjustable rack. DID want a rack with small raised feet/bumps and sturdy handles that was easy to clean and adjustable. it's just perfect. it even fit my small oval roaster (though i measured it wrong).

Best Deals for Nifty Expadable Roasting Rack

I received this a few hours ago and yes, it is adjustable so that is a great plus but there has been a major issue. The first time I picked it up, 3 of the pieces broke off. Two more have come off in subsequent encounters. So I am down 5. I cannot place anything on the rack like shown in the photo because my roast would fall through the gaping holes in the support.

Honest reviews on Nifty Expadable Roasting Rack

This rack does the job, I used it with a 17 lb turkey and was able to lift it without any issues. Awesome little kitchen tool.

I had been researching 10" non-stick pans on Amazon. The next day I was in a big box store and came across the Bakers & Chefs 10" pan that I'd never heard of before. I am so pleased I took a chance with it as its performance is superb. After 6+ months of use the non-stick surface is like new and nothing sticks to it. From what I read you should not use aerisol spray oil on the pan as it can ruin the non-stick surface. I have used only olive oil or butter on ocassion, but usually don't use anything. Easy cleanup with a soapy sponge. Don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.

Best Deals for Bakers & Chefs 10" Nonstick Restaurant Fry Pan (2 Pack)

I've had one of these skillets for several months, now, got it from Amazon. Before buying, I did some research on the Eclipse non-stick coating. Standard industry Lab tests indicate that Eclipse is orders of magnitude better than previous non-stick coatings. I have to agree; this is the best skillet I've ever used; nothing sticks to it, it cooks evenly, eggs slide around as if they were on ice skates. It cleans up like new. I wipe it out with a paper towel, then rinse it out with hot water, and a dishrag (no soap, ever), even the raw aluminum outside surface. The pan is a good weight, good balance, it feels good in your hands, you can flip things easily, even things, like pancakes, that stick to some other pans.

I bought these two, one for each of my daughters; they tell me that they love the pans...and me. I give Bakers & Chefs an A+ for the design (sides are sloped, so you can easily flip the contents), construction (three burly rivets hold the cast Stainless Steel handle in place, and the slide on / off silicone handle cover ensures that you won't burn your hands. This is my favorite skillet.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

UPDATE, Sunday, January 6 Snowing in Vermont today, so my youngest daughter and I spent the afternoon baking cookies with the new OXO Good Grips Cookie Press. While we were at it, we made a video to show you just how easy this is to use! Here's the cookie recipe we used:

Cream Cheese Spritz

1 cup butter (sticks)

3 ounces cream cheese

1 cup sugar

1 egg yolk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 1 teaspoon other flavoring (orange, lemon, almond are all good), optional

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups flour

Directions: Beat room temperature butter and cream cheese together until softened and well blended. Beat in sugar, then beat in the egg yolk, salt and flavorings. Stir in the flour until well combined and dough holds together. Use immediately. Makes about 8 dozen.

NOTES: You can substitute baking margarine for the butter &/or lowfat cream cheese for the regular. If you want to make the dough and then hold it overnight in the fridge, allow it to soften and come back to room temperature before you attempt to use it.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

I love spritz cookies little buttery, crisp cookies that are perfect with tea or lemonade or even just by themselves. They're easy to make too as long as you have the right cookie press.

For many years the "right" cookie press in my house was the Mirro that I got as a teen. You filled the barrel with your cookie dough, stood it on your sheet pan on little feet and twisted the top dial to make the cookies. Worked like a charm for many, many years but then somewhere along the way in one move or another I lost my Mirro cookie press and couldn't find another.

Since then, I've gone through many a cookie press trying to find THE one. One cookie press split right down the middle of the barrel the first time I tried to make cookies with it. The "trigger" style are usually too hard for my hands to work. Most of them don't have little feet to rest on the cookie sheet so you're trying to press out cookies in midair. Frustration Level Over the Moon! I can't count the number of cookie presses I've returned to the store or shipped off to the thrift store bin.

I cannot tell you how delighted I am that this OXO Good Grips Cookie Press with Disk Storage Case has solved all of those problems! It arrived this afternoon just as I finished a batch of homemade cream cheese. The very last of the Cream Cheese Spritz are in the oven as I type. The press is easy to assemble and disassemble and easy to clean. Most of it can go into the dishwasher if you want to bother with that. Like that old Mirro, the bottom of the press rests on your baking sheet as you form each cookie by simply depressing the handle, which works by lever action rather than being a "trigger" easy even for my old hands to use. If you are using a standard half-sheet sized baking pan, you'll get two dozen cookies on each pan 4 across, 6 down. Most recipes will fill the barrel (see through!) about four times and make about 8 dozen cookies (Do pay attention to the bit in the directions that tells you to use an ungreased cookie sheet. Don't use a parchment liner either your cookies won't stick to the surface correctly and so won't pull away from the press.) Learning curve about 2 minutes.

The press comes with a dozen different discs for various shapes teddy bear, butterfly, daisy, fleur de lys, buttercup, heart, leaf, shell, snowflake, sunflower, tree, wreath that store away in a specially fitted box that allows easy access to the discs. (Yes, you can change the disc without having to wash the entire cookie press first.)

The included instruction booklet contains recipes for three different kinds of spritz (Cream Cheese Spritz have always been my favorite use the included recipe but leave out the cinnamon) and you will find many more recipes on line. Be sure to look up a recipe or two for savoury spritz as they make nice quick-to-produce nibbles for an appetizer selection or cocktail party.

Spritz cookies are great keepers they'll stay fresh for several weeks in a tightly covered container. Ideal for little girls tea parties, feel free to color the dough or dress the spritz up with sprinkles, sparkly sugar or bits of candied fruit.

I'm off . . fantastic cookie press that will have pride of place in my kitchen for many a year to come . . . anybody want a cookie?

PS I found it easiest to fill the barrel using a small rubber spatula about an inch wide.

UPDATE, May 15, 2013 I recently came across this OXO Good Grips Cookie Press Springtime Disk Set, featuring a half-dozen designs especially for spring cherry blossoms, a rose, twin hearts and more. My set is on the way. Can't wait to try them! I wonder if they'll do another series later in the year? Pumpkins and bats would be nice. September ,2013 Why yes, yes they did! Pumpkins, bats and more. The Autumn set is available from the same link as the Springtime set.

I love this cookie press. I bought it to replace one I had for about 10 years that was always a pain to use. There was a high fail rate, and the press would rock as I was trying to put the cookies down. With my new Oxo, the only cookie fails I had was with the first one or two cookies each time I refilled the cylinder. Each cookie after that came out perfectly. And the silicone on the bottom of the press kept the press firmly on the sheet as I was pressing out the cookies. I love the little plastic container that holds the discs. With my old press, the discs were always in a heap in the baggie I stored them in, but with the Oxo, they're neat and organized. I also like that this press has cookie shapes that are not seasonal -fleur d'lys, daisy, butterfly, etc., which will certainly encourage me to use it at times other than Christmas. As opposed to another reviewer, I did not find the cookies small at all; I do not like big cookies and find these to be the perfect size. I made a batch of cookies using this to bring to my son's game, and they were absolutely inhaled. People were shocked that they weren't bakery cookies.

Best Deals for OXO Good Grips Cookie Press with Disk Storage Case

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I tried the Good Grips cookie press using the chocolate shortbread cookie recipe in the instrucion manual. The manual is easy to understand and includes three recipes and two variations in all. The recipes did not include any hard to find ingredients, were simple, and easy to follow. The design disks included are snowflake, heart, buttercup, shell, wreath, tree, sunflower, daisy, fleur de lis, bear, leaf, and butterfly. I used the shell, buttercup, fleur de lis, bear, and butterly disks. They all worked well with the exception of the butterfly disk. The dough seemed to stick to the bottom of the cookie press and not release well using the butterfly disk. I loved the other disks so much, I consider this a small issue.

The quality of the disks were very nice and stainless steel, not as thin as the disk set that came with my previous cookie press and I did not have any issues with warping. The barrel of the cookie press is a thick plastic material that is listed as BPA free. I am not impressed by clear barrels myself as I do not find it impossible to tell when the cookie press is near empty using the plunger depth as a guide but I love, just love, the plastic disk storage case and new to me disk designs.

The disks are dishwasher safe but the cookie press itself is not so I just wash them all by hand. A bottle brush would be nice to have and make cleaning easy peasy. The barrel was comfortable to hold, the plunger much easier to use and I never had to fiddle with it because it never twisted the wrong way. Much simpler to use than my other presses simply because the plunger does not rotate due to the release button that is used instead. Love that! One hassle gone! My old cookie press had a rotating plunger and it rotated when it wasn't supposed to therefore my cookies did not ratchet out of the press properly leading to a problem this design does not have. A headache solved.

As a scout mom, I am so delighted with the fleur de lis and the bear is so adorable, and the shell is so pretty. So much nicer than the disks in my other cookie presses. I am really pleased with the press. I am far fom a spritz expert and if anyone has any tips on getting a better result with the butterfly press I would really love to hear it. The ones that did come off were nice but overall it really did not work well for me. After swapping the disk to a different design I was back in business again. The other disks worked for me much better and really did not depend on a chilled cookie sheet. The bear worked so well, it stuck onto an unwashed cookie sheet from a previous batch and the instructions say to use a clean, ungreased cookie sheet, washing between batches.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product and would recommend this cookie press to friends. My one very minor gripe, aside from the butterfly disk, would be my wish that they showed the finished cookie along with the design disk images inside the product manual and not just on the box. The disk images are labeled inside the back of the manual but the finished cookie image is not included with it. They are all so pretty and inspiring it would be nice to not have to save the box in order to see the finished cookies as the box is larger than the box for my other two cookie presses. I am sure I can photocopy it. Overall, I love it.

Honest reviews on OXO Good Grips Cookie Press with Disk Storage Case

This is the easiest to use cookie press I have ever used. The old ones would stick not OXO. It was so easy it took me several tries just to believe it. I kept squeezing and didn't even realize the cookie was on the sheet. So easy your hands don't get tired and the recipe is accurate to a cookie and did I mention they were delish and adorable. I used the daisy pattern for a wedding shower and added a chocolate chip to each center to make black-eyed Susan's the young crowd had never seen cookie press cookies. The compliments actually made me blush, because it was so easy I felt guilty. This press will last for years. Well built easy to clean so easy. After all the rolling and cutting I've done this was a blessing. If you have children they will love the teddy bears, and it comes with several recipes. This is not a gadget it is a must if you do any baking at all. I love it so mush I'm ordering another one just so I could have one for vanilla and one for chocolate. Happy Baking!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've never had a cookie press, but always wanted one. Due to my infrequent baking sprees I never got one. When I saw this one come up on the Vine review list--lets just say I did a happy dance.

The cookie press arrived very quickly--on Christmas eve in fact. We all know how busy Christmas eve can be doing last minute shopping, baking, arranging, entertaining and whatever! However, I couldn't wait to use my cookie press. It was kind of like the proverbial kid in a candy store analogy. I don't bake frequently, but found a recipe I liked online--in this case one provided by Martha Stewart's site which featured lots of vanilla (my favorite flavoring). I printed off the recipe, got the ingredients out and went to town with my very very new cookie press.

I had read the one-star review about the cookies being uneven and yes the first one was, but the directions had mentioned the first one or two might be. The author also had trouble with the dough coming out of the cylinder. So before I used mine I did an Internet search on how to use one and looked for tips and hints that would avoid the one-star reviewer's experience. After using the cookie press, I noticed the cookies got less 'pretty' and the dough was less malleable as it got warmer. I put the dough in the refrigerator for ten minutes or so and that seemed to solve the problems.

The OXO Good Grips Cookie Press contains the cookie press, 12 stainless steel disks, a holder for the disks (I really liked this feature--no searching in a junk drawer for your disks), and an easy-to-use instruction booklet. The booklet also contains a couple of recipes. I ended up using the Martha Stewart online recipe which is very much like the Butter Cookie recipe.

Anyhow, I really had fun using the OXO cookie press and making all sorts of shapes with the 12 disks. Like I said earlier--I was like the kid in the candy store. I'd make a tree or a sunflower or bear and call everyone over to "LOOK AT THIS!" Soon the house began to empty out as everyone left tired of my constant exclaiming! However, they came back in plenty of time to sample the cookies. The kids loved the teddy bears and butterfly shapes.

Soooo happy I am now a proud owner of a cookie press!
