I have a 5 ltr. Futuro Pressure cooker. It does fit--the description is correct! I love this pressure cooker. I have had it for many year. It's a wonderful time and energy saver. I also have a 7 ltr. cooker by Futura, so you know I depend on them. My aluminum cooker warped.
