I bought this set to replace an old canner (sans lid) that had belonged to my grandmother and I wanted to make a batch of apple butter. It arrived promptly, I washed it all and made a huge batch of apple butter and brandied pears. While washing the canner and jar rack/lifter, I noticed a spot on the lid where the enamel had flaked off and the jar rack was rusted! I wasn't horrified, but concerned that after one use it looked worse than my grandmothers old pot. I contacted Granite Ware via email--they were fantastic! They shipped me a new canner and rack (the blancher and strainer were perfect) in record time. I canned blueberry jam this weekend and the enamel is perfect and no rust on the rack.

I must say, it is always a relief to deal with a company that will replace an item without delay, questions or redirecting blame--sometimes there is just bad product and once replaced everybody is happy. I would buy Granite Ware again in a heartbeat. I KNOW this company will backup their product 100%. To me that's a sign of quality.

I bought this kit so I could more easily make Pepper Jelly. The kit made it easier to do the whole process. The tools really helped in the handling of hot jars and lids. The only problem I had was in heating the smaller jars (4oz and 8 oz). The basket (which is essential to the process) was designed to hold the larger jars (1 pint to 1 qt).

Overall, I really like the kit and I am planning to can some vegetables and some home made salsa in larger jars.

I love my new canning kit ! I am new to canning, and wanted a kit that had everything I needed in one kit. The only thing I didn't like about it, is that the bottom is not flat... the description should state that. Since the bottom is not flat, it takes a long time to heat the water up on my electric stove top. Other than that, it is a really good deal, and works like a charm!

The great thing about this piece of cookware is that you do not have to scrape the bottom of the pot to be sure you get everything mixed together.

Circulon is an excellent brand. But, ultimately, what can one say about a pot. It works. It exceeds all demands. I bought it at about 1/2 price down from regular retail (don't you just love Amazon). Other than the fact that the design of the lid's and pot's handle is a bit screwy, it is a small complaint.

Oh, they say you shouldn't put this in the dishwasher. Actually, just don't put detergent in the machine if you do. The detergent causes the anodizing to discolor which leaves a milky or bleached appearance to the exterior. It does not affect perfomance in any way. It just doesn't look as nice. They got a lot of complaints when people would put them in the dishwasher, so they added that warning. Personally, I do it all of the time. I just don't add detergent. I just loosen anything that is stuck-on and then run the machine on the anti-bacterial cycle (KitchenAid). Comes out looking great.

The handle is hallow and the connection to the pot is not sealed. When the pot is washed the handle fills up with waqter. It then leaks out into the drawer or worse when the pot is heated it will squirt water all over the stove top.

Works great and nothing sticks! Awesome product that is totally worth the price. Evenly heats and my electric range doesn't mark up the bottom. I hand wash my hard anodized cookware. Be aware if you place them in the dishwasher and two hard anodized pots scrape, they will damage one another.

This has been a work horse of a pot for my family .

I use it for frying which is not what most nonstick surfaces are for.

It has performed flawlessly for three full years and its ctoninuing to.

No handle issues but due note it is a long one. Hanging ring is smartly embedded in the end of its rubberized tip. The fact that the pot has two handles helps when trying to remove oil for straining.

Lid has survived nicely thanks to most manufacturers smartening up and giving glass lids that steel band.

Now to remove oil from that band or anywhere on this pot's exterior I suggest a great Brillo pad and some Swiss cleaner Kuhn Rikon Swiss Cleaner--Paste 7-ounce be on hand as Walnut and Corn oil both adhere to any surface (including arteries) like mad.

For such a low price I can't say anything bad about this cooking tool.

I own 12 pieces of Demeyere cookware and love every piece. They clean up beautifully. You can run a hot pan under cold water immediatly after use. You can cook a steak or chop oil free and the pan releases it when its seared perfectly. I sold the stuff years ago and won or bought pieces at cost. I also own All-Clad, Calaphon, and Le Creuset. Demeyere blows it all away. The heat conductivity is even all across the pan. Wonderful stuff.

This is a fine piece of cookware and also a great way to display your prepared meal for a party or nice dinner with friends/family. It is nice and thick and heavy so that you can evenly cook a large portion of food. We have used it both for cooking and just as a display platter so in some ways we get double-use out of it.

My biggest complaint is that we don't have enough excuses to use it all the time because we only have 2 small children and 2 adults so it is sometimes too large to use for an everyday meal. I've done eggs, pancakes, bacon and hashbrowns on this although I prefer a carbon steel griddle for these items.

This is so good for a large fresh fish filet to cook it on the stove top or to use this kind of like a paella pan for rice/stir fry types of meals. I love it. 1-star off for being a little thin on the very outside edge surface which dented when I banged it in to the side of my stove, but the cooking surface is very thick and heavy so it cooks evenly.

I purchased the Demeyere Apollo Maxigrill for our new induction stove. I carefully seasoned it as advised.Pancakes and French toast stick to it horribly. I don't usually use much oil but even with oil the same results. I called Zwilling who handles Demeyere. It took great patience and effort to finally get a human and he didn't seem very interested. Just told me the heat was too high and that if the food stuck it meant it wasn't cooked!!!! Nevertheless, I tried again, at lower heat, with the same sad results. It took me three days of leaving messages to get a call back. He said that they had so many people calling that it always took a while to return calls!!!! Hmmmm. Then I learned that though they will pay to have the griddle sent back and checked...they NEVER do refunds. SO! I am pretty unhappy. Maybe a meat-eater will be happy with this product but I, as a vegan, am most unhappy and disappointed in what should be a top-of-the-line piece of cookware.

They should have said it was for cooking meat.

So let's be honest, this is a dumpy little microwave omelet maker.

That said, I love it. Mine broke pretty early on and now is just two seperate pieces, but still works great. I use Egg Beaters and pour some in with some veggies, toss it in the microwave for a few minutes, go get dressed, and when I come back i've got breakfast. And i've even tried making the traditional omelet with cheese in between the two parts and it's not a problem at all. Best part is, if you want you can eat it right out of the pan.

Cleanup seriously takes about 15 seconds: water, soap, scrub, done.

This product is why I can actually eat eggs the way I want every morning.

This is my favorite kitchen "gadget" by far. I can easily mix up 3 eggs in a mixer, pour the egg into each side of the omelet maker and cook it for 1.5 minute. When that part is done I put a slice of cheese on each side (while it's still open) then I microwave it again for about 30 seconds.

I take it out of the microwave and shut the omelet maker cheese stays in the middle and there's no spilling. I can either eat my omelet out of the omelet maker or slide it (it really is that non-stick!) straight into a plate.

It's very non-stick. I wish more things were like this. Super easy cleanup, even when the cheese spills over.

Purchased a few months ago and it's still in great shape, we use it at least 5 times a week.

Well worth the money!

This is a GREAT microwave appliance; it makes very good omelets with no fuss, AND it cleans up easily afterward--an important consideration.

Great for elderly and/or disabled people who have problems with other appliances. The omelet is a good single-serving size, and takes a decent amount of "fillings."

Just remember to make the omelets without the usual cookbook directions calling for added milk/water!

First mixed in water with the eggs and the times they suggest worked perfectly. But the eggs tasted a little bland so tried mixing in 1/2 and 1/2 with eggs and voila!! best omelets I've ever had! Needed to adjust the times lower and am using 70, 45, 20 instead of the 90, 60, 30.

Ooops almost forgot to mention, I'm only using 2 eggs. Not the 3 the directions recommend.

If you really mix (very vigorously) the cream and the eggs, this will fluff into an omelet like no other. This thing is just incredible. No more slow cooking it on a stove, no more worrying if you'll be able to flip it over without losing half of it. If you have the toppings ready, the fully cooked omelet will be ready in less the 5 mins :)

Wanted to Add: (9/01/11), there's an easy way to get these out of the omelet maker, if you haven't already thought of it. After the last step (with it closed), place it on something like a cutting board and open it up. Leave open for 20 to 30 seconds and let it cool down.

Then, with it open, put one hand underneath the part that has the omelet in it. Quickly (as these things are still hot) put your large flat plate on top of the part with the omelet. Now just flip both over quickly. Voila! perfect omelet everytime!

The price is right for this, so by all means check it out for yourself... you really have nothing to lose.

But in my opinion, I didn't love it. The cooking times included in the instructions came nowhere close to cooking the eggs in my microwave. Also, when you get to the stage where you fold the thing closed, pretty much every single time for me the eggs just stuck to both sides and had to be scraped out when finished.

And lastly, and most importantly, the eggs just didn't taste very good from this thing. Rubbery, tough, just not good.

But again, a lot of people seem to like this thing, so maybe it was just my microwave and/or my preparation skills. Try it for yourself.

I am not a chef and not the greatest cook, but I purchased these pans becasue I was tired of replacing cheap pans all the time. I love these pans. I have had them for about a month and I use them daily. They still look like brand new. They wash up wonderfully. They fry evenly and they are durable. There is no food or cooking spray cooked onto the handles or outsides of the pans. The handles of the pans and lids stay cool to the touch and the lids and handles are not attached by screws so they won't come loose or fall off. For the price I would say these are a great buy and I would buy them again.

I have wanted to purchase Rachael Ray cookware for many years and kept waiting mostly because of the cost. I finally decided it was an investment and I definitely think that it was well worth the wait. The pans are very easy to clean, the food always comes out evenly cooked. It might just be my imagination, but I swear that compared to my old pans the food cooks faster and comes out better. I've cooked chicken, turkey, and pork and everything comes out moist and perfectly cooked. They're heavy but not too heavy to pick up with one hand when transferring the pans to a counter or sink. I love the color and the handles on the lids are great because they have the rubber handle so they're never hot. I don't have a ton of time after a long day to cook and clean. These make cooking and clean up a breeze.

Although I admire Rachael Ray, her name on this set did not influence my decision to buy it. I did a great deal of research before purchasing it; I weighed the pros and cons and the pros won out. The pros are light weight pans, a non stick surface, silicone handles, glass lids, porcelain enamel exterior and a gorgeous red color and I love the pan sizes in this set. Many sets only include a 1 and 2 quart size, these are 1 1/2 and 3 quart in size. Also, many sets only include a 5 quart Dutch oven and this one is 6 quart. I especially love the chef's sauté pan and use it most often, it is very versatile. The cons are: not dishwasher safe but they do wash up very easily; they are only oven safe to 350 degrees and it is recommended to only use them over medium heat. Just using medium heat and limiting the oven temperature did initially concern me but the lighter weight pans heat up so quickly that it's not necessary to use a higher heat. I love this set and I would recommend it to all.

I purchased these several months ago and i have no complaints. My wife and I use these at least 4 times a week and they still look brand new. We were worried that the color would scratch off onto the grill of our gas range, but at this point the bottoms of the pots and pans still look like new. The non-stick has not scratched and works as expected. We have not put them in the dishwasher and that may be why they still look so good. Overall this set has everything we need. We have recommended to many of our friends.

After using these for more than a month, I am pretty satisfied with the set. The non-stick is phenominal, I don't even have to use butter or spray for eggs! I try to wash them immediately after use, but on a busy morning I let the egg pan sit until lunch, and it still came right off! And the cooking is very even, my pancakes have never been prettier! I do hand wash them, and have not had any issues with either the non-stick or enamel coming off. I'm also very careful with stacking them in the cabinet, keeping the lid upside down on top of the pots and stacking them, as to not scratch the inside. I also love that you can stick the whole pan in the oven for roasting. And I only use plastic or bamboo, never metal as to not scratch the surface!

For the cons: We have an electric stove, and the enamel on the bottom of the pan makes it slide around some. I wish it were corrugated or something on the bottom to give it some traction. Also, Rachael Ray is etched into the rubber on the handles, and even after about a month, I can tell they are getting darker from not being able to clean inside the little nooks and crannies. And I don't like that the handles are attached by two screws on the inside of the pan, gunk gets stuck in there while cooking (although it comes off easily with cleaning, you just have to make sure you dig all around them!). And the handles on big pot are too short. When draining pasta, I actually have to stop for a second because of the steam hurting my hands. I also wish it had a 12" saute pan instead of 10", I find that some of my family dishes just barely fit, and require a lot of stirring to get everything cooked. And the edges of the pots are easily dented everytime I tap the spoon or spatula on the side.

Although I have listed more cons than pros, my complaints are minimal. This is non-stick cookwear that is actually non-stick. It cooks beautifully, and I feel better about my food not having to add so much, if any, butter or oil. Some people have complained about the enamel scratching off or fading, but this doesn't effect the functionality of the cookwear. It might to always be as beautiful as it is when you take it out of the box, but as long as it cooks my food without burning or constantly sticking, I'm very satisfied with this set.

Somewhat disappointed that it wasn't made as heavy as the product used to be made. I bought the exact pan a few years ago and decided to get another one. When it arrived I noticed right away that it had a lighter feel to it. I wish the company would go back to making it the way they used to. The old model was my favorite pan and I used it all the time. I use the new one often but it feels "cheaper".

I generally don't buy cookware with riveted handles, but I love the pouring spouts on this cookware. I have had the larger 3Qt pot with lid and pouring spout for several years. I love it and use it constantly ... so I thought I would give the smaller sauce pots a go!

I recently ordered two of the small, Wearever, 1.2 quart saucepans from Amazon ... and was terribly disappointed. One out of the two leaks badly at the left side pop rivet. Unfortunately, I walked away about one minute after putting my brand new pot on the stove. I was making a honey infused sauce. The mess this darned pot made of my rather expensive, stainless steel, Bosch gas stove was horrendous! By the time I came back to the stove (maybe three minutes later), about 1 inch of the liquid from the pot had leaked all over the surface of the stove and the flame from the burner cooked it onto the surface of the stove. It took quite some time and a lot of elbow grease to clean up. All I can say is thank God for the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They really are magic! Without them, my stovetop might have been permanently damaged.

I grew up using Wearever products and this experience has pretty much ended my relationship with them. Really poor quality control! How can ANY company sell a product with pop riveted handles and not at least test them to make sure the rivets don't leak? The other pot seems fine so far, but for obvious reasons, I don't have a lot of faith in it. I will certainly use it, but I intend to watch it like a hawk.

I live in the British Virgin Islands, so sending it back to the US really isn't worth the time, energy or postage. I threw it in the garbage. It's sad that things aren't made the way they used to be and that once trusted brand names seem to be losing user trust due to inferior quality control. Sigh.

For obvious reasons, I can't recommend this product. I really am sorry. Up until now I always thought Wearever was a very affordable and well made brand. Not so much anymore it seems. :(

This is a nice little stainless pan. It looks good; it conducts heat well.

It has one drawback. The lid handle gets too hot when boiling anything. Solution: get a small nylon washer to put between handle and lid.

It has one quirk. When the lid cools off, you sometimes hear a little chirp.
