I have CIA's 12" and 8" copper core non stick frying pans and they are absolutely the best pans I've owned. However the 8" pan is a little too small for the weight of the handle, so it easily tips over. Just be careful.

These pans are well built, heat up quickly, the non stick coating seems to last, no muss and no fuss with these pans. A real joy to cook with, everything slides off. They are a little pricey but well worth the price.

Once you cook with these babies, you'll never want to use anything else.

I have an Emeril Lagasse 10" non stick and less than a year the coating has already worn off and it takes forever to heat up. Easily the worst pan I've owned. Bam! Da Worst and expensive.

I own a 12" stainless steel multi copper core All Clad, it's pretty and shiney and everything but hate the ritual of having to heat the pan and heavily priming it with oil before cooking. If you don't, everything sticks to it. And the clean up is the worst.

Initially I purchased the Atlas 8 inch pepper mill. Solid construction and the handle is long enough to make grinding easy. I'd initially intended to buy another PERFEX pepper mill to replace one that had been lost, but decided to try the Atlas.... and I'm glad I did! It was much less expensive, easier to grind, and the ability to control the size of the pepper grind (from ultra fine to course) is the best I've ever tried. (I do like the side loading capability of the PERFEX, but the Atlas holds so much that you don't have to reload it often.) The salt mill is different in that the grinding mechanism is non-metalalic in order to avoid corrosion. Finally, I really like the look of the Atlas and it fits well in my hand (the PERFEX is a bit too small and the handle is a bit too short). Saw one of these at a restaurant and had to have 'em. Thick, heavy brass body with nicely constructed grinding mechanism, specific to the salt or pepper application. Infinitely adjustable. Not cheap, but highly recommended.

This pot rack is a heavy duty iron pot rack with a large storage capacity. When it arrived, I could barely lift the package by myself. Working together with my father-in-law, we had it assembled and installed in about an hour using a screw driver and pliers (not included). The assembly instructions were clear, so we had no goof-ups. I've got my pot rack mounted over an island that divides my kitchen from my dining room, where it provides a good visual separation of the two areas without blocking communication between them. It also has excellent storage capacity-it holds all of my cooking pots and frying pans as well as their lids. I keep some of my extra-large bowls in the rack on top.

Since I'm only 5' 2", I get quite annoyed with most kitchen cabinets because they all seem to be too high to be of any use to me. But with this pot rack, the pots all hang down where I can reach them, yet they're still high enough so that my 6' tall husband can work at the island counter beneath the pots and not bump his head. To reach items on the top rack, however, I need to get a chair because it's about 7' off the ground. If the rack were hung any lower, then the hanging pots would get in the way of the counter, so you really need at least an 8' ceiling to use this rack properly.

I've been quite satisfied with the quality of this pot rack. The price was about a quarter of the one that our kitchen designer had originally selected for us. I can't imagine what extra features the luxury brand might have brought us because I don't see where this one has cut corners in looks or sturdiness at all.

I purchased this rack sight unseen with some trepidation. Mine is the 36 x 18 Chrome model and I could not be more impressed. Easy to assemble with only the installation of ceiling anchors being somewhat difficult for the average person. These must be anchored to a beam in order to support the weight.

I have owned other pot racks and shopped extensively in design stores and on the web for similar products and I have to say that there is, in my opinion, nothing better designed, engineered or constructed close to this rack at even double the price.

I recommend that you measure carefully being buying and use a stud finder or other device in order to ensure that you can hang this heavy rack as location will be dictated by the beams running across your ceiling. Hopefully you will find one that runs across and then location will be easy. Otherwise remember beams are located on 16" centres and once you find one the other will be located directly above the second hanging hook of the rack.

Buy this product........you will not regret it.

I bought this pot rack about 2 years ago and I have to say it was better than I had hoped it would be!!! It is absolutely beautiful. We recently sold our home and the buyers actually loved the pot rack so much they requested that we leave it with the home. So, here I am buying another one. That is how much I loved it! I can't live without one at my new home!

My husband had a little trouble installing my first one because he couldn't find the floor beams in our home very easily. A stud finder solved the problem and within 30 minutes it was completely installed.

After searching catalogues, home furnishing stores, and the internet, it was a welcomed treat to find this offered on Amazon. I compared the material this was made of to another popular brandname that sells (same design as well) for $$$ and I cannot for the life of me figure out why the price difference other than the fact that they are made from different companies. I guess its the name you're paying for but I cannot honestly see any difference in the craftsmenship.

I am so thankful to have found something this handsome to hang in my small apartment kitchen. The shape didn't take any room away from me as it is hung high and out of the way. I was able to free up what little cabinet space I have even more by storing my lids and bowls on the grid.

I'm so pleased with this item that I have another on order this one hangs from the ceiling and I plan to give it to my daughter. With the price I paid for BOTH pot racks it STILL doesn't come to -halfthe amount I would have paid had I chosen the other brandname.

It's such a beautiful thing when you can get quality and beauty at a great price. This rack is strong and stylish. We have it hanging from our kitchen ceiling, which is 15ft high. It wasn't difficult to assemble and put up (although I didn't actually do either, I did watch...though I will grant from the ground, everything looks easy) and it will blend with any decor. My favorite feature is the grid that sits in the middle, where I keep my Pyrex/casserole dishes and pressure cooker. What a space saver! About 25 pots, etc that don't have to be in a cabinet, on a kitchen counter, on the stove or when you're really in a bind for space...in the oven. We get compliments on it constantly. Do note that it does not come with the chains, but a quick trip to your local hardware store will rectify that. I'm very, very pleased with this purchase.

This is not really a non-stick pan at all.

All I did was attempt to fry some garlic in it once (not deep fry or anything, just saute in a little olive oil), the garlic stuck to the bottom of the pan, burned up, and would not come out wtihout scrubbing etc etc. and since then, whatever I try to cook to it, sticks to the bottom and burns, so I ended up throwing it out after only a handful of uses.

I bought this on Halloween, but I just recently started using it for quick things, like cooking beans, pasta, stir-frying vegetables, and the like. I've used this wok roughly ten or so times so far, and the nonstick coating is already peeling on the sides. I only paid $10 for this so I guess I'll just suck it up and buy a better quality wok, but this was very disappointing.

I just used this wok for the last time tonight. I was making a tofu stir-fry in peanut oil and the tofu stuck onto the pan like glue on paper. I even heated up the oil first. Using a silicone spatula to get it off broke the tofu into pieces and left the part in contact with the pan still stuck to the pan to burn. The tofu finally stopped sticking when the entire bottom of the pan was coated in burnt tofu/oil crust. Needless to say, eggs are a nightmare for this wok. The "nonstick" coating on mine is also damaged from wooden chopsticks. Mine is going to Goodwill, or the garbage; I haven't decided yet.

If you want a nonstick wok that will work on an induction cooktop (or any cooktop, for that matter), I recommend spending just a little bit more money and getting the Joyce Chen J22-0020 Pro Chef 9.5 Inch Peking Pan with Excalibur Non-stick coating. I have had the Joyce Chen wok for over a year now and I've used it almost every day since then, and it still looks likes new and could fry an egg with no oil at all, if I were so inclined. I bought this crappy one as a backup for when the Joyce Chen wok is dirty and I'm feeling too lazy to clean it, but I think I'll just get another Joyce Chen wok.

I have one of these for my office and literally use it 3 times a week. You are not supposed to microwave your food in the plastic/ tupperware storage things (for health reasons) and I found it wasteful to dump leftovers or soup into a paper bowl to use once and toss. I leave mine and wash mine at the office, so I don't generally use the lid. However, I found out hubby was microwaving his food in the tupperware! A big no no. I bought him this immediately and he loved it. Minor problemhe actually takes his food to work in this (no place to wash dishes at his office) so the lid was a must have. His came with one of the 3 plastic "hooks" broken off. So it's not as secure as it should be. Just a minor quality control issue. No huge issue for uswe just switched and I gave him my lidbut worth mentioning as I try to create honest and accurate reviews.

Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It heats up well and cleans easily. The plastic portion means I can easily and safely handle my dish right out of the microwave. Everyone who heats up leftovers at work and wastes paper goods or heats up the plastic should switch to this product. Well worth it.

This is THE best microwave bowl I have ever come across. The white bowl is glass so there is no worry of heating food in plastic containers. The red bowl does not get hot in the microwave so you are able to remove your food without oven mitts. The lid is made of a very good durable substance that does not wilt from the heat of the microwave like other plastic tops. I place the lid over my bowl when cooking, I don't lock it in place until I'm ready to store it in the refrigerator. It works beautifully. My food is hot in the white bowl and I can easily transfer the bowl from the kitchen to the table because the red bowl is cool. This would make a very excellent gift. I think I'm going to get a couple more just for me...soup in one, veggies in another, something like that. I highly recommend this Gourmet Microwave Cool Touch Bowl.

We haven't used them long but so far work great. The outer bowl gets warm but not hot so easy to handle. I love the handles. The one for the thumb is very helpfull & the smaller one is a big help to remove it from the microwave. The lids work great. We just leave it up side down since we don't need to lock them into place. I bought three & one did come with a lid tab broke but since I don't use it I'll keep it as is. Had the tab not been broke I'd have given it 5 stars. I have used the bowl for ice cream & it helps keep it cold just as it helps keep hot foods warm longer.

Some time ago, I decided to stop using these expensive filters. I already have a Brita charcoal activated filter and use that filtered water directly into my Cuisinart. No problem and very good coffee. When I was using the small Cuisinart filters, I experienced a lot of problems with slow water feed resulting in steam and other problems. I decided, after spending some $16 on filters over a period of a year, that I was just wasting money on these filters. I cleaned the coffee maker after I stopped using the filters, am getting excellent coffee and no more slow water feed and a fine running coffee maker. The coffee tastes as good or better. But, please note that I am using filtered water just not filtering it in the coffee maker.

This year, I found that the filter serves another purpose which is to prevent the occasional overflowed coffee ground from clogging the feed line and preventing all of the water to pass through the filter so you end up with less cups of coffee output compared to cups of water input. With pure water, the filter will last a long time. The root cause of the slow water feed in the paragraph above turned out to be a clogged valve in the feed line.

It is very important when using this coffee maker to have the right grind size. Excessive number of fines can lead to clogging.

Okay, so, the water isn't ALWAYS that scary to drink. Just, uh, just most of the time.

Even when the water doesn't make you sick, it usually tastes like it's been funneled through an old radiator. Coffeemakers, generally speaking, don't include water filters because the brewing process ostensibly kills all of the harmful bacteria. But you can still taste the heavy-metal-goodness in every last drop of leaden java. Lip smacking!

Anyhoo, I purchased a Cuisinart Coffeemaker recently (oh, how I love that machine), and it came with a package of these little filter fellows, and let me tell you, they do the trick. Gone are the filamental-flavors, the taste of scalded electrical wire! All that's left is pure watery goodness, the clean, crisp clarity of two spic-n-span H's and one well-scrubbed O. Now, if this little wunder-filter can do THAT for the brackish dreck that passes for water in Seoul, imagine how much more effective it would be on YOUR water!

Uh. Assuming you also do not live in Seoul. Or, er, Mexico. And parts of Bangladesh. And most of Haiti. And also, maybe, Djibouti. (Although I think Djibouti's been getting its act together with the public water works system these days, thanks to macro-economic reform programs. See the comments section below.)

Does a good job at improving the taste of the coffee, but more importantly to me is it also filters out coffee grinds that may accidently spill into the water chamber... a nice plus! Change the filter regularly and it will also extend the life of the coffee maker.

The serving tray and dome cover are a high quality plastic that has a very secure twist lock. The pan is in a very pretty red and stores neatly within the server. I used a minimum of no stick spray and flour. I can foresee that this will lost a very long time. Would make a fantastic gift.

I bought this more for the Bundt Cake Keeper, than the pan since I already had a bundt pan. The pan was better than I had expected, nothing fancy, but it worked well! There was absolutely no sticking to the pan after baking, although I did use Bakers Joy beforehand. The Bundt Keeper is great. Before I had this, I was using a cake keeper that was way too large for a bundt cake. This is perfect size with room to spare incase your bundt cake is larger than this pan provided. Even though it is plastic, it seems well made and it very light weight, which makes it nice to transport rather than a big, heavy carrier.

I bought 2 of these and two Cuisinart non stick pans of the same size so I could make 4 Vietnamese Banh Xeo at a time. Which I did last Wednesday night. All the pans worked well, but these were less expensive and heavier, though somewhat less elegant than the Cuisinarts, which I think were $28 each. I will buy other sizes of this product line. I especially like the comfort of the grips. They are supposed to be removable, but they are quite tight around the handle. I was worried about putting them in the oven, but I visited the Browne-Halco website where there was a pdf catalog. I found the product and learned that these blue handles are heat resistant to 572F/300C. My oven will only achieve 550F, so I doubt I'll ever need to remove them. Thank you, Amazon, for the free shipping. I ordered late Monday afternoon and they arrived on Wednesday, just as promised. We are in a very rural area. How do you do it? (Yes, I know; your email reveals that you shipped it in the small hours of Tuesday morning.)

This item was purchased because an 8" pan was a bit too big for my intended use. 7" would be perfect! It is actually 7 3/4", not 7" as listed in the product description and stamped on the bottom. On the other hand, it is quite thick, distributes heat well, and has a non-PFOA non-stick coating. It's too early to tell, but I suspect the Eclipse non-stick coating will continue to release perfectly. My pan has a flat bottom and doesn't spin, but like most aluminum pans, that may change if it is overheated. Cosmetics aside, it is a very nice but not that little NSF skillet.
