With this baby, I can fit 3! & even if some break when they hit the pan after being turned (I'm ungentle perhaps?), at least the white part stays flat & uncurled.

This is well named as a cookie spatula. It's very large for a spatula. There's a review that says it can be used for pizza, and yes, it might be helpful for pizza, but it's still not nearly as large as most pizzas. If I hold my hand over the metal part, with my fingers spread out wide, that's about how big the metal part is.

I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure I'll like it. It's nice and sturdy. But it showed up when I searched for "pizza peel." If you want a pizza peel, don't buy this.

I try to use only stainless steel and glass in the kitchen, so when I saw a large spatula in stainless steel at this price I ordered it immediately.

I don't bake a lot of cookies, but this is a lifesaver with pancakes, especially with a large batch as it is a real time saver. The handle feels nice and I can get two small or one really large pancake evenly distributed on the spatula very easily. I've also used this to get a cake out of the bottom of a pan, and to make an omelette.

My only compliant is that it scratches easier than I would have liked I've only had it for a week and it already has a few scratches. I hand washed it using a sponge.

A long time ago, I thought I'd do my husband a favor by replacing his orange, burnt, worn and to my eyes, ugly nylon spatula. Ever since, I've been trying to replace that thing and it's been at least 20 years. This comes about as close as I can get it. So in my book, it's a five star tool not too flimsy but soft enough to bend to scrape the bottom of a pot of bean soul yet firm enough to lift fish off the bottom of the pan.

One reviewer said this spatula was toy sized... well, I use it for 8 egg spinach omelets and 12 ounce burgers and big 'ol flapjacks and no, this spatula is not small. What are you cooking, brontosaur? It's honestly about the biggest spatula in terms of flipper area that I've seen, save for stainless fast food triple patty flippers.

Speaking of stainless, no, this model is not. It will melt if you leave it on the burner. Stainless steel would earn the last star, but come on its $2. That's fifty cents per star.

This is just what i wanted, and just what was advertised. a low priced, good quality spatula to use in my nonstick pan. i am pleased, i paid just a few dollars for all including shipping. it is slightly flexible (i hoped it would have been a bit MORE flexible, i like the really "bendy ones") but it is flexible enough. it claims to be high temp i used it this morning to flip some eggs and it worked well. it didnt scratch my nonstick pan and it is beveled very well to a thin point so you can slide it under a omlette or crepe just perfectly. not much more to sap about a 3 dollar spatula! :P

It's cheap. It's made of plastic. It will only melt if you're crazy enough to leave it against something really hot. It carries soup from the pot to your bowl. You can throw that mofo in the dishwasher. In short: it get's the job done.

I really do not want to scratch up the sides of my expensive cookware, but they are rather annoying to use with functioning cookware. When unfolded these things are huge, they are easily able to protect everything in my oversized Americraft set (including the stock pots,) however they are unruly and cumbersome when it comes to getting out individual pots and pans. That said, on the pro side; they are easily big enough for almost any pan save maybe a 10qt stock pot, they are thick enough to protect your pans from scratching each other, and the "wings" fold inward for storage in a relatively small foot print.

I have this expensive pots and pans set, and want to take care of it. These protectors are doing a great job, no scratches on top, underneath or on the edges. Loving it! I got a couple and love the sizes, they dont seems to get bad if get a little wet wither. Really cool idea. I guess you can make your own too, but this material seems durable and the padding is really good.

We purchased the Symmetry eleven piece cookware set plus this piece to replace our old mismatched cookware that we have had for years. I can only say that we are not only pleased with the quality of Symmetry but also how well it preforms. The cookware is thick hard anodised aluminum, which is actually harder than steel and conducts heat much better. Thicker means better heat distribution and no "hot spots". The non stick is a three layer coating called Autograph 2, it is one of the newest and best available. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher or simply wiped clean, which is what we do. The coating is tough enough that metal utensils can be used--we still use non scratch as most of ours were used on the older pieces of cookware.

Stir fry is a favorite of ours so this pan gets used a lot. Have found that we do not need the high heat as much as in the older pan, and that because of the thick construction the heat is more even from the bottom and up the sides. I need to also mention that sometimes we use a portable induction burner and all of the Symmetry pieces work fine including the Stir Fry pan.

The glass lid makes this piece useful for a lot more than stir fry--have a small rack that fits in the bottom of the pan that makes it great for steaming. This piece is a wonderful addition to the set and one that gets used a lot in our kitchen.

Just an afterthought: Fried eggs in the eight inch pan, no oil, no spray etc. they slid out onto the plate with no help--the best non-stick ever!

Pros:

Ample room for family cooking (4 6 people)

Rubber handle stays cool to touch

Comes with a lid to help keep heat in and cook faster

Neutral:

Lighter than my Anolon professional pans. (can be good or bad depending on your preference. I like the heavier ones myself)

Cons:

Teflon coating has a texture circular lines / indentations. I'm doubt the usefulness of them, but despite the nonstick coating, it takes more effort to clean the food on this, specially if you cook sticky stirr frys or you burn your food a little at the bottom. My other smooth teflon pans clean out very easily, the little pattern on this one makes it harder.

Does not have the same quality construction of Anolon series pans. (not just weight, but finishing, glass quality of the lid, the handle, etc).

Overall I give this pan 3.5 stars. If I hadn't used the anolon professional series before, I'd probably give this pan 4 4.5 stars. But given that there are better ones at the same price range, it loses a star.

I've only had this pan a little while, but I'm expecting to get many years of good use out of it along with the other similarly manufactured Circulon pans I own. The size of the pan is conveniently large enough for preparing a variety of different sized meals without being too large to be convenient to use or clean up afterwards. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program You can't expect the world from this product, but you can enjoy a great deal. It is lightweight, balanced and sturdy. Although labelled a stir-fry pan, it is much more versatile than that. Because of the secure, flat bottom, it is ideal for omelets, pasta sauces, frozen-dinners-in-a-bag and more. My husband turned an egg over with a flip of his wrist. Please note the sides are quite curved, so you probably won't be browning pork chops in it, but you can do practically everything else. The ergonomic design of the handle, tight fitting see-through lid and oven compatibility are plusses.

Do read the directions. It isn't meant to be used with non-stick spray. If you want to use oil, you should apply it with a paper towel. This is, after all, a non-stick pan. Use moderate to low cooking temperatures or you may warp it. Instead of scrubbing and scratching it to clean, the instructions say to boil a mixture of vinegar and water. Finishing a frittata or omlet in the oven is great, but again, you may warp it if you put it under the broiler.

As with all products, carefully following directions is the key to optimum usage. This is a well-designed, versatile pan that I am happy to add to my kitchen. My one quibble with it is that it is called a stir fry pan, but shouldn't be used at high heat as most stir fry dishes call for.

We registered for this cookware as a wedding gift. We love the tempered-glass lids so we can see what's cooking. The pans have a nice substantial feel and work well with our smoothtop range. The stay-cool riveted handles are great.

At first we loved the nonstick coating, it did what it was supposed to do. However, we have had the pans for less than three years (2 years 8 months) and the nonstick coating is already beginning to come off. We have followed the directions for care and cleaning, and not used any metal utensils on them, so I am very disappointed that the coating hasn't lasted longer. We do cook frequently with high heat, but on a good set of cookware that shouldn't make the coating come off this quickly. There are little hairline scratches (probably from stir-frying shrimp or steaming shellfish) where the coating is now beginning to clump up and rub off when we wash it.

It's sad, because we cook a lot, we love this cookware and were hoping it would last us a long time. Looks like I'll have to replace some of our frequently-used pieces, and this time I'll be going without a nonstick coating.

I shopped around quite a bit before finally settling on this set and I am very pleased with my purchase. I don't understand a lot of the complaints.

The fact that the set is a bit heavy is a plus in my book, not a minus. I would have been greatly disappointed if they would have been light and flimsy. I checked out a few different good sets at bed, bath and beyond before buying on-line, and I didn't think any of the big name brand hard adonized sets were any lighter than these.

One of the big selling points for me for this set is the fact that they are oven safe to 500 degrees. I have a few recipes I use all the time that start out on the stove and then move into a 375 or 400 oven, or finish under the broiler and this set can take that. Some of the others I compared have handles that won't take that kind of heat. Despite the metal handles, I am very happy that they don't get hot on the stove.

I don't put my pots and pans in the dishwasher because my family of five fills up the dishwasher too quickly, so handwashing is no problem for me either. They wash so easily anyway, and I have never had a problem with food sticking to the rivets where the handle handles attach.

I bought this set at a very discounted price here at Amazon and am thrilled with the purchase. Cooking is so much more enjoyable with great tools.

I haven't had mine as long as some of the others here, but so far they are holding up just fine. I use them every day, and if they do end up looking a bit worn any time soon, I will still be satisfied that I got more than my money's worth.

Although I ONLY hand washed these pots and pans, somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd year, the nonstick coating on the pans started lifting. I also do not use metal cooking utensils.

All that being said, I still use these pots and pans (been almost 5 years now).

Overall, I originally bought this set for ~$300 5 years ago. The pots are still in excellent condition. If I was looking for pots and pans, I would consider purchasing another set at $150.

I do cook a lot (used for business) so my 5 years with these pans may equate to 7-10 years of normal use.

My experience mirrors that of "Bluekitten." In less than three years, a couple pieces (the most heavily used) began to totally lose their nonstick ability, even after careful adherence to cleaning/use guidelines. I suspect it was from heat: The pieces that fail have been used periodically with up to, oh, 75 percent heat on my gas range (NEVER full), and they were the ones to fail.

Unlike one previous reviewer, I found Anolon's customer service to be fine. I had no trouble finding their address, and recently shipped one piece back for warranty service. Anolon replaced it with a comparable piece from the new "Advanced" line, as I suspect they're not making this line anymore.

All things considered, it's nice cookware, but seems very sensitive to excess heat. If you're a patient cook who can happily wait for the pan to get to cooking temp at half-blast or less (it will, in time), this set would be fine for you.

I also found the pans to stain and discolor very quickly on the outside. Given that, if I was shopping for a new set today, I'd go with the Advanced series -which has nonstick coating inside AND out, likely prolonging the nice look of the cookware.

The manufacturing is decent. The non-stick is great at first, but if it ever scratches, it all goes downhill. Most non-sticks from good manufacturers only seem to last a good 2-3 years of use. Less if you're using somewhat abrasive cleaning pads and throwing into the dishwasher. I must admit that I fall into the latter sometimes and just lack the detail to wash it by hand and get lazy and throw it into the dishwasher. They still lasted me a few years even when doing so.

As for warranties, whether it's Calphanlon, Analon, Circulon, etc...it's not worth the shipping to get the pan back. Heck, the set here is now only $135. For that price, you could buy two sets, use one set for 3 years, toss it and then use the next set for another 3 years. I've sent woks back to Calphalon and the costs and downtime are just too great.

The 'care' for non-sticks are a joke. If you read the reviewer below, it basically means, don't use if you don't want the non-stick to peel. if you want to stir fry, sear or pan fry with high temps, it's not recommended on non-sticks as the temperature is very high.

I went mad when I first saw this amazing cassarole. Fans of the other shaped le creusets will love this beauty. Unlike the heart and shamrock designs, the pumpkin has a more realistic 3D shape. I do not think there is a better way to sample this product line than through the fun casserole pots. They are reasonably priced, much cheaper than the standard 2 quart casserole, and still carries the same quality. These are extremely heavy pans that distribute the heat evenly though what you are cooking. I like the pumpkin for the fall cooking, I also purchased the tomato as well for summer and other seasonal cooking. This holds your standard casserole recipes. This is great for a pot luck, I promise you will be able to identify your dish, and it just flat out looks attractive. The colors are bright and distinct. You will enjoy this pot for many years to come.

I have collected all of Le Creuset's fruit and vegetable shaped cast iron enameled casseroles. This was the first one that I bought and I have used it the most. They are beautiful to display on a table or on a kitchen counter and very practical in cooking delightful casseroles, soups, stews and other wonderful dishes. The color that they can add to a kitchen brightens every vist there. The exterior and interior enamel coating is very durable and easy to clean. I have cooked a multitude of dishes in these casseroles and have found them to be excellent in heat conduction and preventing "hot spots". The wider and lower shaped casseroles are a little better in spreading the heat.

The warranty against defects of 101 years will certainly last beyond my expected needs but it is nice to know that I have the protection since these are not inexpensive purchases.

The comments of guests served from these casseroles is always positive and never fails to bring a smile to my face.

There is a drawback to these whimsical cookers and that is the rim of both the top and bottom of the casseroles. There is no enamel on these rims and they can rust if not dried immediately after hand washing. They are dishwasher safe but I do recommend that you hand wash and dry immediately. I also recommend that you let them sit out for an hour or so to air dry before storing them.

When wet this casserole can be very slippery and the handles on the bottom and top help in preventing dropping them. Be really careful!

Finally, closely inspect your casserole when it arrives. My first garlic casserole had a two inch crack in the enamel. I did not have to contact Le Crueset since Amazon.com immediately sent a replacement to me and had the defective item picked up at my home at no charge. I commend them for standing behind the products they sell.

Le Creuset's cast iron cookware is great stuff. It is heavy, so it distributes heat evenly & holds it well. No hot spots, and the food stays warm at the table. The enamel is very easy to clean (even if you get a bit careless and burn something on). The lid on this fits really well. The pots are individually sandcast, and they are really high quality. Just in case, they come with a really long guarantee (it will definitely last longer than you will). This is not the cheapest cookware you can find, but you won't find better.

This pumpkin shares all the great features of the other Le Creuset cookware, and is a great visual pun besides. It looks good on the fall table (think Halloween and Thanksgiving). As someone else pointed out, it's easy to find when it's time to go home from a potluck.

I have found this pan have great quality and durability. I'm very happy with my purchase. This pan is a superior and safe alternative to the questionable toxicity of Teflon coated pans and it is more durable. I also like it better than bare cast iron. Some reviewers of the Lodge Enameled Cast-Iron Pans suggest treating the pans a certain way with oil to make them more non-stick. Even untreated I don't have much of a problem with sticking. I just coat with oil or butter when I use it. ANY type of pan can be abused or damaged from overheating. This pan is also fairly easy to clean. I hand wash with dish soap and water after soaking. I don't recommend abrasive pads. Occasional subborn burnt on stains can be safely removed with Comet powder. According to the enclosed instructions it is dishwasher safe.

Update:

I noticed that regular cooking of tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce which is acidic is the best way to remove and prevent staining and build up on the inside of the pan.

Recently, I ordered one Cuisinart pan, and one Le Creuset pan....to me, they are equal..(they may come from the same source(?). The weight and finish seem identical. The food sticks to these, identically. Cleanup is equally time consuming...but...it's not Teflon....and the Cuisinart cost a third (+/-), of the price of the Le Creuset. I returned the Le Creuset...just could not justify the extra cost, for a seemingly identical pan.

This is the third enameled iron pan I've purchased, and the combination of functionality, weight and price are very hard to beat. The two other enameled pans I compare in this review are Le Creuset and Lodge.

I really like cooking on enamel iron pans because of durability, ease of cleaning, and not having to worry about the chemicals in non-stick pans. But to prevent sticking, one should use lower flames than one might be used to with other kinds of pans. Iron retains heat and gets hotter than other types of pans, which causes burning and sticking. Shape The Cuisinart bottom is perfectly flat, whereas the center of the Lodge pan is slightly raised (imagine a dome that has been almost completely flattened, but is not perfectly flat). Consequently, the Cuisinart is better than the Lodge for cooking omelettes because eggs gravitate to the perimeter of the Lodge and might not cook evenly.

Shape The Cuisinart bottom intersects the wall of the pan at an angle. The same is true for the Lodge. In contrast, the Le Creuset bottom rises gradually upwards to form the wall, so food won't get caught at the edge of the Le Creuset. Depending on your cooking technique, you might prefer one shape over the other.

Weight-wise, the Cuisinart and Le Creuset are manageable, and the Lodge is very heavy (it is a workout to wash and dry).

Durability the enamel is chipping on the handle of the Lodge, but not on the cooking surfaces, where it matters most. So it's unsightly, but it does not affect functionality. There is no chipping with the other pans.

Price the Cuisinart and the Lodge were each about a third the price of the Le Creuset.

These are well-made, beautiful cups. I already had the regular LeCreuset espresso cups, and wanted to get a larger size to hold my double shots. It turns out that these, as they say, are indeed cappucino cups. Hence, they are a little large for use for just a conventional double shot of espresso. However, they are nice looking and well made, and I'm sure I'll enjoy having them as I enjoy my espresso set.

I was looking for a cup to match the double-short (8oz) latte that I order from coffee shops. I have a nice espresso set up, and wanted a cup that I could pull shots directly into with enough room for a little milk and foam, but not too much. These are the perfect size, and the style is really nice, as is the quality. Found them in a local trendy store for exactly twice the price of Amazon, so as much as I like to shop local Amazon it is!

Cup size is 8 ounces which, IMO is perfect for a true cappuccino, but will not satisfy someone looking for a "tall" or "grande".

The price scared me at first, but we are definitely going to get another set at some point. They are the perfect size for cappuccino (which we always make with one shot of espresso and about the same amount of frothed milk, but maybe we're doing it wrong), and they are very well made. Can't recommend these enough.

The cups are typical Le Creuset quality with a very nice glaze. The handles are a good size. However, like all LeCreuset products, these China made cups are overpriced.

In my opinion, a wine decanter has two purposes. The first is simply being a convenient vessel in which to pour wine. The consequence of doing that is that the contents of the bottle become exposed to air and oxygen. This allows the wine to develop and show its character. The second purpose is to allow that process to continue as the wine sits in the decanter. Therefor, the best shape for a decanter is one with a wide bottom exposing as much of the wine as possible to the air letting it continue the process of evolving to whatever the skills of the winemaker will allow.

The Ravenscroft Infinity Crystal Decanter has that design. In addition,it also has a smaller, thicker base on which to stand giving it greater strength where it contacts surfaces. The mouth is wide like a funnel for easy pouring, and the neck stem is easy to hold onto when you're using one hand to pour.

This looks and feels like a good quality roaster. The dimensions given, however, are outside dimensions (lip edge to lip edge), not interior, so the cooking area is smaller than I expected. The really big drawback for me is that the interior does not have a perfectly flat bottom, but has a shallow "moat" around the perimeter, and I would think this might make gravy and sauce making a little more difficult. I actually purchased this pan in Canada, and will be returning it.
