I loved my green set so much and was so impressed with the quality and how pretty they are, I logged on after using them for the first time and bought these for my mother (before they sold out!).

Mom can't say enough good things about the quality of this cookware. She called me on the day she got them and twice in 2 days since cooking with them. She and I agree that the ceramic coating heats up quicker and more evenly than the teflon non coating and her pot roast in the Dutch oven was done to perfection. I like this pan in that it is very easy to make crapes because no sides. Just trying to move the batter around by rotating the pan does not work well. You have to use the wood T-Shaped Crape Spreader too. It works on an induction element so that is why I purchased it. What I don't like about it is that it is very slippery on the element and hard to hold and turn the crape at the same time. It's going to take practice I can see. It's a nice size. I also use it for heating up tortillas or making melted cheese sandwiches. It works well as a grill.

The most annoying thing about this pan is that the diameter of the surface that contacts the stove is only about 9" so that the outer 1" ring of the cooking surface does not get as hot as the center of the pan. Is that what a "Crepe Pan" is supposed to do? If so I got the wrong pan. I bought it as my one teflon coated pan to use on my induction cook top so I could make eggs and a pancakes thinking it would act like a griddle.

The teflon scratched almost the first day and I don't remember any reason why it should have, although it hasn't scratched any more over the next ten or so times I've used it.

I've read the reviews and would rate the installed product with 5 stars. It's sharp looking, very functional, and if installed properly should stand up for a long time. That being said the key word is to install it PROPERLY. I looked at their installation video twice before installing it and read the critical reviews posted here.

Do yourself a favor and toss their so called installation hardware. You're going to need four spring action anchor bolts and you'll also need to drill a hole in the top center rack. You can't do the same on the bottom rack as it is recessed. MOST IMPORTANTLY, make the center hole that you've drilled line up with a stud. Their video says to "get as many of their predrilled holes to go into studs". Unless your house is built with horizontal studs (I jest) that will never happen. You probably won't want one of the other holes which are off center by 5 inches on the top and more than that on the bottom to be the one going into the stud. That can only tend to make the unit list to one side when you load it with pots and pans.

For just a few cents more they could have included spring action anchors and drilled the center hole that I referred to. They also could have made it easier to access the screws which you will need to tighten as this requires a short or off center screwdriver.

Oh well, I had nothing else to do that morning. Good Luck !!!

Very solidly built. Heavy and sturdy. Screws are provided for mounting to your wall but I would get molly bolts instead. This rack is heavy and with all the pots and lids on it, a more secure mounting is needed.

My wife picked this out a couple weeks ago and we couldnt be happier with the look. It was pretty easy to install. Id recommend that you find at least one stud to secure this to, as molly-bolts can work their way out with a heavy load like pots and pans.

Perhaps I'm being a bit too harsh on a product that cost me $42, but this was an absolute nightmare to mount sturdily.

Before I get into what was required, I will give you the GOOD.

Once mounted it looks great. The pictures of the black mount show far more sheen on the black metal than is actually there, it's almost a matte black and looks very sharp.

The form factor is also just fine, two shelves are nice to have.

The hooks are the same matte black as the base, mounting the hooks on the inner grating seems necessary to get what you want to hang in the right place, but they have a tendency to shift and clang around a lot when you do this.

For ~$40, it's a steal, except...

The BAD:

The mounting hardware they give you is totally inadequate; You need one strong woodscrew or lag bolt screwed into a stud in the top center mount, otherwise any substantial weight you put on it will probably come down crashing in the middle of the night (like some reviewers have claimed).

The mounting scheme for the top shelf is poorly designed. Don't let any reviewer here tell you differently, more than 10lbs of weight on this shelf will make the metal at the top sag. When you put weight on it, all of the force is exerted at either edge of the top shelf. There is only one screw in the top, and it's in the *center*. When it's secured into a stud, instead of crashing down, the metal simple deforms and bends around that center screw. This is what people mean when they say it *sags*. And yes it does sag, no matter how heavy duty your mounting hardware is.

I could not tolerate this, I got around it by doing the following. I drilled two additional mounting holes on either side of the top shelf and anchored them with drywall screws. Due to the curve of the shelf, it's almost impossible to actually screw these in (probably why the designers didn't put them there). You have to use an extremely short screwdriver, or a ratchet with a phillips screwdriver and a lot of patience.

Putting it all together and mounting it to my satisfaction took me at least an hour, but once I added the additional mount points, there was no sag. It's not so solid it still doesn't bend or bow a bit when I give it a good tug, but it's not visibly deforming with 25lbs+ of cookware on it. Two design flaws: the metal is just too soft for this purpose, and you need mounting points at the edges of the top mount. I wanted to get two of these and mount them next to eachother (hey, I have a lot of cookware), but now I'm reconsidering it, even with such a great price.

I had checked the restaurant supply store in my area for pot racks, but all they had were the straight stainless steel ones. I found this rack after some research and decided it was the best I could get for my money. I received it, put it together and mocked it up on my wall. The first thing that I noticed was the lack of a second mounting hole on the top shelf. The bottom has two holes, but the top has one directly in the center.

This alone made me question my purchase.

After mounting the rack with pop-toggle screws from HD (the included anchors for this rack gave me nightmares of failure in the middle of the night), my questions were answered. The top shelf was bowing out away from the wall! I hung my 14 piece Cook's set from JCP on the bottom shelf with the supplied hangers, and the top was bowed out a good 1/4" at the corners.

We'll see how long this lasts. I suspect the first spot to fail will be the top mounting point.

NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: Please use the same locations for mounting screws for the top shelf as you do for the bottom.

It has been difficult to find a non-stick fry pan that will work on an induction cooktop (I carry a magnet at all times). This works very well, heats evenly and cooks quickly. The removeable handle made it great to pop the pan into the oven to finish a dish, re-attach the handle and remove from the oven. I bought a larger and smaller pan and both exceeded my expectations. I'll probably order other products with these same features.

Be aware that under high temperatures silicon hot pads become very slippery, almost teflon like.

I've always liked silicon hot pads, largely because they are easy to clean. Last night I learned that they have a dark side.

I was pan broiling a couple of thick filets in a cast iron skillet...sear side one for five minutes, turn, sear for another minute and then put the skillet in a 500 degree oven for five minutes for a medium rare fillet (something I've done many times). Moving the cast iron skillet from the cook top to the oven with the silicon hot pad was completely comfortable and I felt totally in control. Five minutes later when I attempted to remove the skillet from the oven it was if the hot pad had been oiled. There was no way to control the skillet and I could not avoid dropping it. I recovered the hot pad, assuming I had just lost my grip, and found myself in exactly the same situation as I picked the skillet up off the floor, juggling a blazingly hot mass of iron with no hope of getting a stabile grip on it and trying to avoid burning myself and the kitchen floor. In the end I did a better job preserving the kitchen floor than I did my thumb and forefinger. Strangely, the silicon did a good job of insulating me from the heat (when it hadn't yet slipped away leaving me holding a 500 degree iron handle), it just didn't allow me to hold on to the skillet in anything close to a controlled fashion.

Bottom line: Silicon behaves differently at high temperatures and looses its ability to grip a hot surface. Don't attempt to use silicon hot pads to handle truly hot materials.

I pitched the hot pad because I don't want my wife or children to ever find themselves in that position.

I absolutely love these potholders!!!! I have four sets of them. They are great as potholders but they also have other uses. I place them under cutting boards to keep them from sliding on the counter when I am chopping. I also use them to keep bowls firmly on the counter if I am whipping cream. I also use them as trivets when placing hot pans on my counter top.

My only caution regarding this product is that you need to be aware of the location of the hole in one corner of the potholder. I didn't pay attention one day and got a nasty burn pulling a very hot pan out of the oven. If you are a bit of a klutz, like me, best to keep 100% aloe in the house just in case you do what I did. Repeated applications of aloe took the burn out of the fingertip in a few hours. I was very fortunate. I hope this doesn't happen to you.

I highly recommend this product.

I love these. Yes, they are a bit stiff compared to fabric potholders, but they are much sturdier and more useful. They offer complete protection regardless of the heat of a pan; they don't conduct heat when damp or wet as a fabric potholder does; they don't burn or stain; they can be quickly washed and immediately used again. They can be used as a temporary trivet to protect a countertop. And they have a bonus use, as a very good way to get a grip on jars or similar items that are hard to open. (I use mine to unscrew the faucet water filter when it needs to be replaced.) Mine are a true fire-engine, primary-color red, neither dark nor orange. I'm more concerned about function than making my entire kitchen matchy, but if you are looking for a subdued shade, these might not be to your taste. I like red because they are easy to spot on my countertop and they remind me that the pan will be hot.

These are very good for larger pots and pans, not so much for things you might need more dexterity for (say, holding a metal spoon, adjusting a folding roasting rack, or picking up a pot lid by it's knob.) They're about the thickness and have about the same flexibility as a weekly magazine. I've found that placing my thumb against the 'hang-up hole' provides a bit more gripping control. I recommend having a conventional (thinner) pair of potholders at hand as well.

I really do like these, though great for dealing with large pans, and best of all they clean very easily and don't absorb water (ever take a pan out of the oven with a potholder that's been sitting on a damp part of the kitchen counter? Ouch!)

I wish my silicone cake pans were as thick as these, and that these were as 'flexible' as my wiggly cake pans...

The cups look great and are holding up nicely. They only hold one shot each but are great for a single shot or a one shot con panna. If looking to make latte's or cappuccinos be sure to get the larger size. We were using an oval pyrex roasting pan with a rectangular pyrex pan on top as a cover to roast chicken. Worked fine although the seal was questionable. And then one day it smoked out the house. We have owned two other roasters like this one. One, I left at work while taking a pot luck dinner. The other, my wife used the roaster for "on top" of stove cooking....the burner was too high and the bottom of the roaster burnt, so we threw it away. We had been without a 15 inch roaster for quite awhile, then my wife seen this on Amazon. We just finished a roast made in this new roaster. As other reviewers had noted, there are sharp edges on this product, and the metal is not as heavy as the ones Mom & Grandma had. I also noted a few dings, probably caused by shipping, and where these were the enamel was also chipped. Still, for the cheap price, it worked good. I doubt it will last like the ones they used to sell, but is worth it for the current cost.

I have owned one of these for close to a year now and absolutely love it! It's the most non-stick, easy to clean cooking pan I have ever owned. I use it constantly and it shows no signs of wear. Dried on food comes off with just water and a sponge. Worth every penny.

I've been eyeing this product for a long time before I finally bought it. I do quite a bit of baking and this is a perfect carrier for cakes and cupcakes. Most carriers are either cake carriers or cupcake carriers. The great thing about this product is that it carries cakes or cupcakes. It also works for mini or standard cupcakes. The other wonderful thing about this product is that it's collapsible so it takes up less space. Most carriers that are similar are not collapsible or can only be used for one or the other (cakes or cupcakes). I highly recommend this product.

I got it for $19.99 at Ross and they also sell it for that price at Marshall's. I'd be willing to pay a little more for this product since it's a useful product for a baker to have.

This is a great invention and very versatile as well. It is nice that it folds down to store or to just carry a lower item like a pie. I have not used it yet but it is replacing an old larger cake carrier as well as a pie carrier. Two for one!!

Every household should have at least on cast iron pan. This is why; they are great for searing meats: steaks, burgers, tuna steaks and the like. Bacon in the morning: Somehow bacon cooks up well in this pan, probably because of the even heat distribution and retention. Anyways, this is a good sear pan. My only criticism is the inside surface is gritty, so it is not good for cooking eggs or pancakes. These items tend to break-up when you try to flip them. This is not a good general purpose pan, consider it a specialty pan. But what it does it does well!

I got this at a local shop specializing in close outs for $25. This was an absolute steal, probably the buy I have had all year. This is a very heavy enameled cast iron pan in a pretty red. The pan is a very thick cast iron with a thick handle. It easily weights more than similar LC, Staub, Lodge pans. It has a much needed helper handle. The inside is a black enamel that easily washes up and you don't have to worry about re-seasoning it. (you do have to season the rim, which is no big deal). I cannot speak for longevity yet, but this one cooks wonderfully, nice and even. I bought one and was so impressed I went back and bought the next size up. Get one while you can!

I have never had so much difficulty cleaning a pan after cooking scrambled eggs! Food clings to this pan with impressive tenacity.

The interior of this pan is very rough and the material is not smooth at all. This is in no way a non-stick pan, in spite of the porcelain enamel coating.

After spending more time cleaning the pan than cooking scrambled eggs and eating them, I will in the future use this pan only for cooking food that is very unlikely to stick.

I bought a Bialetti Aeternum pan at the same time, and I'm very happy with the Bialetti.

Maybe my pan is defective, and not actually enameled? I have a Tramontina dutch overn that has a white enamel interior, and it works great. This Tramontina saute pan has a black interior, so maybe the factory forgot to enamel this pan....

Save your money and get the Optimus version as its a better quality than this. The Optimus Weekender HE is only 10 bucks more and is better made and the Heat Exchanger on the bottom of it is worth the extra mere 10 bucks alone. This pots set here has no Measuring markers inside the pot and the Optimus does have them. Also the Optimus comes with a nice ditty bag to keep the pot set together instead of this set here that has nothing and flops ever where in your pack. Soon you will loose the lid on this one. The optimus also has a flatter top lid this one here has a rounded edged one which make the lid useless to use a a fry pan. The Optimus has a flat lid that is perfect for frying a egg or making a small pancake.

I ordered a back-up bowl for my mixer for "just in case" or those times I was doing lots of baking and didn't want to wash the bowl every time I needed to prepare something different. I was a little hesitant on spending so much on an extra mixing bowl for my KitchenAid mixer, but now have absolutely no regrets. This mixing bowl is hardy, easy to handle and a breeze to clean. I often turn out chiffon cakes which require separate mixing of yolk and white based mixtures. By having 2 mixing bowls I have eliminated the risk and hassle of having to thoroughly wash a mixing bowl before preparing meringues. Even my mum was converted and now has 2 mixing bowls for her KitchenAid mixer.

I bought the kitchen aid mixer stand a long time ago and it came with the bowl but it had no handle on it. I saw a commercial from kitchen aid and it showed some of the accessories you can buy and there it was a 4.5 quart mixer bowl with a HANDLE. My heart just went pitter patter and I found it here on Amazon.

The bowl came in perfect NEW condition and I have used it a few times since i bought it.

If you have gone for years using your Kitchen Aid mixer without the handle BUY this one, its like night and day :))

I received this new bowl and used it immediately. Fits my 4.5 qt. tilt head Classic Plus stand mixer and is a bit taller than the 4.5 qt. bowl, understandably because of the .5 qt. difference. The handle on the bowl was the worth the cost alone!!!
