These bowls look cute but they are really cheap junk made in China. Chipped one of the bowls on the first use then the big bowl on the second use. And we did not in any way treat the rough. They are just really light, soft porcelain. sorry, but don't bother.

I just love these bowls. I use them for everyday as well as for Sunday Dinners with the family. The colors are brilliant and the waiters are hysterical. I do not regret buying these bowls.
