This product may say its made in Italy but the stickers on it say made in China. Boo. When I contacted them for answers i had to leave a message and of course, never got a call back. Aside from that, the coatoings on the pots and pans were rippled and chipped. One of the pots was mishapened i'm assuming during shipping. Just poor quality and dishonesty all around. DON'T BUY!!!! After much searching I purchased a complete 10 piece set at bed and bath. Well about 6 months later the white ceramic coating is USELESS ! I followed their breakin instructions and cooking instructions to the letter !! Everything sticks!!! I completely coat and almost float whatever, fish, chicken, or beef in olive oil and everything still stick to the pans!!!!!! I am an avid cook BUT even cheap pans Teflon pans bought from walmart last longer!!!! I emailed Tramontina and the women replied after 3 days and sent me the warrantee : "Our warranty is for Manufactures Defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear, overheating issues, warping or scratches in the coating. The warranty can include the coating, but only in the event that dust or debris had fallen on the pan before the coating was sprayed on. This would reflect in small bubbles that would pop and burst, causing the bottom of your pan to be very rough but retain its original coloring. This symptom can also be found if a pan has been overheated but the coating will be discolored a brown or black." Plus I would have to pay to ship the pans to them for review!!! She was upset that I CALLED THE WARRANTEE USELESS. Well the way I read it " They DO NOT COVER Normal wear and tear" !!!!!! SO the moral of my story DO NOT BUY TRAMONTINA WHITE CERAMIC COOKWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did a lot of research before choosing this set. I had a large collection of non-stick pots and pans that were still in good condition but after learning about the dangers of cooking on Teflon and heavy cast aluminum (I have vintage sets of The Club and Guardian Service cookware), I decided on this set. I also have a set of Royal Prestige Stainless Steel cookware that I have had for over 20 years, it is still in excellent condition but I wanted something that was not so heavy but easy to use and non-stick.

Never in my life had I cooked on ceramic cookware and I must say that I don't think I will use anything else but this type cookware, the end results of any dish are simply amazing! You don't have to use high heat and in fact the manufacturer advises against it due to the possibility of damage to the cookware. They are absolutely correct, you will not need to use high heat. Everything cooks wonderfully!

When I received the box, I did get a pan that was crooked (the 10-inch), the seller immediately shipped another one to me and although it is the one pan that does not have a lid that fits, thus the 4-star review instead of 5, I like it a lot! I've used every single piece in this collection and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is true that you need no oil whatsoever to cook with. I wish that the dutch oven were 6-quarts instead of 5 but I can work with that. The price is excellent for a good-quality set like this. I thought I would get a cheap product that I would have to end up sending back but I took a chance and I'm so very glad I did!

Highly recommended and if I had the space, I would order a second set to have on hand. Thank you, Chef's Catalog, for a wonderful product. The pans are made in Italy but the lids are made in China. One more thing, do not use metal utensils to cook on these or they will get scratched. Use wood, plastic or bamboo. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this set!

Wow! This cookware is absolutely beautiful and a joy to cook with. The quality is top notch, not thin or flimsy in any way. I wasn't sure about the cooking without at least a coating of nonstick cooking spray but cooked a 3" steak as my test run. It turned out perfect to my amazement!

This was my first experience with ceramic coated cookware. I was concerned that I stained them (I know that's impossible) when I made my homemade spaghetti sauce but cleanup was effortless. Both the stand and the wooden "pusher" are great. The holes are too large for what I was originally intending to use the chinois for, which was making seedless raspberry jam, but I will still use it for other recipes. I probably would not have bought it if I could have seen a good picture of the holes.

So, this is actually a china cap, not a chinois. Although the picture shown is a mesh seive, ie chinois, the product shipped is a perforated steel, collander type set up which is actually a china cap. Great for straining soup but not for custards, fruit purees etc.

I you are envisioning the huge light weight aluminum "china cap/chinois" that grandma had...this is not it LOL! This one is 7 inches tall, 7 inches around. It works very well and fits into a large cooking pot; no need to strain foods in another container and then transfer to a pot. I love the stand rim design...slotted so the handle of the chinois does not slip around while you are working! This is very sturdy stainless steel construction and a bit heavier than grandma's old aluminum set; it is designed to last!

I'm quite upset that I wasted two very expensive free range chicken breasts in this pressure cooker. I followed the recipe (which came in the booklet with the cooker) to the T and kept wondering, "why isn't this coming to pressure?" I was googling that question when I started smelling burning. Opened the cooker to 1/2 cooked chicken and burned sauce. ALSO I bought from these folks the cookbook Pressure Perfect paid over 20 dollars for it and it came with a stamp on it that said "Compliments of Kuhn Rikon, Switzerland". So these folks took a freebie and charged me a lot for it when I could have bought it cheaper used on Amazon, or perhaps the manufacturer meant for it to come free with the cooker. Not a good experience.

Pan worked well for me with its design: the height fits perfect a 10-12 pound turkey or goose, the easy to handle removable grit works perfect and there is enough space in the bottom of the pan for plenty of gravy. I found nothing negative about the way the material cleans. Easy. The lit in itself makes a nice roasting dish as it is deep enough.

The only negative issue for me: pan and lid are not suitable for induction cooktop. With most cookware I would like to see all manufacturer always specifically quote this. With a similar design, and price I would have chosen a roaster that works on induction. Otherwise I can only recommend this larger size roaster.

I purchased one of these a while back and hands down, it beats just about any other "gadget" I have in my kitchen. I'm usually pressed for time so having a good healthy meal in a short amount of time is essential to me. In the summer I grill, but come wintertime I like my home cooked meals. I just recently discovered the NordicWare Tender Cooker. I bought mine used on eBay and it's black (read: older). Apparently they no longer make them in black, but I think that it's really spiffy looking. Before I bought the cooker I went to the NordicWare website to get more info abt them. I live in Mpls, which is where the NordicWare factory is located and after I received the cooker I went to their factory store to buy a gasket & cookbook b/c those two items were not included in the eBay offer. Those items were very low in cost, so the entire amount that I spent was still really reasonable. When I cook porkchops I place them on end like slices in a loaf of bread. Inexpensive cuts of beef turn out fork-tender and everything is so tasty. Possibly it's the seasonings that I use??? I'm a great one for making up recipes in my head and have been delighted with the results. I've actually never used any of the recipes in the cookbook that I bought, but I've read them to get ideas. I highly recommend this cooker. It's so fast and really easy to use. And cleanup is a snap. I don't have a dishwasher, so after the food is removed, I just put warm water in the cooker, let it soak a while and whenever I get back to it, it's very easy to clean. Until I went to the NordicWare website, I had no idea that these cookers have existed since 1984!!! I don't know how I did without it all of these years. I absolutely love mine, use it often and I've not had a failure yet.

My mother-in-law got me one of these many years ago, and I've found it to be the best artichoke cooker ever. You can fit two medium or one large choke in there, set it for about ten minutesas opposed to 45-55 in a steamer on the stoveand voilaperfectly cooked artichokes. My mother-in-law didn't understand, since she's never had an artichoke, but we just love them so it's been used a lot here. One of the greatest things about it is that it easily fits in the dishwasher (don't put the weight or gasket in there, though).

I've had my Tender Cooker since the 80's and it is a wonderful appliance in my kitchen.

Tonight I prepared boneless spareribs (beef). 2 pounds meat, beef broth to cover, minced garlic, bay leaves, beef bullion, carrot, onion. Nuked for 20 minutes.

I prefer to let the appliance cool down on its own thus allowing the pressure to continue cooking the food for 20 minutes longer. Fork tender!! Tomorrow those lovely spareribs will be on the BBQ with some KC Barbecue Sauce.

What could be better? You won't lose them in your drawer (because they stick together magnetically), they're easier to handle and separate easier than spoons connected by a ring, and you can save on clean up because you won't need to use 2 different teaspoons if a recipe calls for, say, 1 teaspoon of this and then another teaspoon of that. A great idea. I bought these about a year ago (an all-white set from Crate and Barrel, but same brand) and tossed out my stainless attached-with-a-ring set. Trying to get through baking with a single set of measuring spoons had become a pain in the neck. If I needed a teaspoon of something dry after measuring out a teaspoon of something liquid, I had to stop and dry the spoon before using. I decided I needed a second set of measuring spoons -right up until these spoons arrived. Now I don't use my original set because these offer a "dry" and a "wet" spoon for each measurement. Furthermore, the dry spoons are superior to my old set because they are specifically designed to fit the mouth of a small jar, which my old round spoons often failed to accomplish.

The magnetic attachment of the spoons is a nice touch, too, although I'm sometimes bemused to find one of the spoons stuck on another utensil.

Oh my god, I will never need another set of spoons ever. Before I got this set, I had three other sets kind of floating around in the utensil drawer. I have since thrown them all out. This is by far the best set of measuring spoons I have ever owned.

First of all, they're magnetic, so they stack neatly in a drawer without taking up any space at all. Even when you're knocking things around, looking for that particular spatula, (as one does) these spoons still remain attached as a set, so you don't ever have to hunt them down. If you need a spoon, you can just pluck one off, you don't have to wrestle a spoon off a 'key ring'. Also, because they stack in order, you can find exactly the spoon you need with no fuss.

Second of all, they're double ended. Big spoon bowl on one end, narrow spoon bowl on the other. The narrow spoon is perfect for spice jars, and having two spoons on one handle has been a total lifesaver. Need to measure 1 tbs of flour and then 1 tbs of corn starch? (*not an actual recipe, just an example, that would make horrible cookies). You don't have to wash the spoon in between, just flip it around! That alone has saved me so much work.

I am immediately buying the cup set. I can already feel my life improving dramatically. I have a new found sense of confidence and I think I may even have lost some weight. :-) Seriously though, these spoons totally rock!

This is not a bad ricer but the fact that it comes with 2 different bottome plates is a nuisance. The plates can flip up while you are ricing and larger chunks slip though. My old ricer, some 40 years old, is so much better as the ricer bucket is in one pice -unless you really need two different size holes in the bottom of the bucket, DON't BUY THIS RICER. I like that this potato ricer has interchangeable discs with different sized holes. It seems reasonably well made, but is a little hard on the hands. One of my favorite uses for it is in making banana bread. I don't like chunks of banana, so this really helped smooth out the texture. Not only would I buy this again, but have already done so, once for my mom and once because I misplaced the discs.

I didn't buy this to rice potatoes, in fact I don't even eat potatoes, but I love making "potato" pancakes using shredded zucchini instead of potatoes. I read somewhere you can use a potato ricer to squeeze the liquid out. I bought this for that purpose. When I first got it, it worked great and I gave it 5 stars. But after a couple months, I have discovered that buying it was a waste. The handle is weak and bends after a short time and then you can't use it anymore. I have used this thing less than 10 times and it is already bent beyond usability. Now I need to find a better heavy duty one. Spend more and get a better quality item.

For both the casual and the serious cook, the 10-inch Fox Run metal ricer does what it is intended to do and can easily handle large or small kitchen ricing jobs. Changing the ricer heads is simple and the unit is easy to operate and to hand wash/clean after use which is how I recommend users clean the item. I would be hesitant to wash the unit in a dishwasher since dishwasher powders tend to be harsh and they will probably etch or otherwise tarnish the metal. The company shipped the item quickly.

I bought this skillet for my induction cooktop. It was quite inexpensive. The fact that it doesn't have a lid doesn't bother me, as I have an almost infinite number of lids from many previous cookware sets.... I always keep the lids... you never know when you can use them. I allow my "little one" to use it, along with a few other stainless pans as she is not allowed to use my expensive "tri ply" and enamel coated iron cookware, (due to non compliance with the no metal utensils rule). I don't use anything but silicone and wood utensils in all of my "good" cookware. It performs well and is quite easy to clean, and will be easy to replace should something happen to it.

I purchased these tongs for my young daughter to practice her fine motor skills (ala Montessori). I was excited to see the little shell shape as a nice accent, but when they arrived, they were squashed flat and bent out of shape. They are very flimsy, and so they were easy to set back into place (sort of), but you can tell that they are mass-produced and not much care is taken with their quality. Like the previous reviewer, I also recommend Crate and Barrel for a better product.

It may sound picky, but, hey, they're sugar tongs, and people who buy them have an eye for detail. Otherwise, who would purchase them?

Heats up very quickly (do not go above medium).

I gave this pan only a 3-star rating because of its size. I wanted to replace my 14-inch Tefal non-stick pan with a 'safe', PFOA/ PTFE/Cadmium -free ceramic non-stick pan. So when I read the description of this pan, I was elated to read that it was 14 by 7 by 3 1/2 inches. However, I just received the pan and it is SMALL! I measured it and it is just 10 1/4 inches in diameter. I must assume that the handles were part of the measurement, which is a very unusual thing to do (in my opinion)and creates a misunderstanding. I threw out my old pan yesterday, and since I need a pan TODAY, I will keep this one but I will probably have to cook in batches. I am very disappointed, to say the least, that the size wasn't accurately stated. I also don't think that a rather small pan as this deserves the name "Jumbo".... As to the quality of the pan: it looks very well manufactured and beautiful. Since I haven't cooked with it yet, I cannot make any statements as to it's functioning.

Actually, it should be 4 1/2 starts to start. Some things I noticed with the pan. The first time you heat it the pan there was some off-gassing that does affect the flavor of the first couple of things you cook. I performed the seasoning as the as instructed and have only washed via soap and water. I have cooked eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, and various other meals with NO OIL! well the grilled cheese had margarine on the bread ... You do not need oil, and the cooking is odd because things boil/cook because of heat instead of frying because of oil. While odd, still very tasty! Another thing, these pans need very little heat to cook. They distribute heat very evenly and rapidly, if you cook on too high of heat it will burn, possibly stick food to the pan. I cook with gas and the flame is med to med low about 1" from the pan. Cleanup couldn't be easier, no staining evident after cooking multiple tomato sauce dishes as well. I'll update after a few months.

It cooks evenly and is so easy to stir-fry vegetables and everything else because the size is large and the sides of the pan are high so your food doesn't flip out of the pan. Nothing sticks and the food slides around easily. Clean-up is easy because nothing sticks.

I really do love it and want to change all of my cookware to this product.

I wish Wear Ever would also make a much larger fry pan, and I mean very large. I'd buy it immediately. (Would someone please tell Wear Ever for me?)

The ceramic finish is so easy to work with. I know it's durable but I am babying this pan just out of love for it!! :-)
