This is an incredibly versatile size. I don't know how I survived in my kitchen without it. I've used it every day since receiving it. (Of course, it's been winter. Soups and stews are a mainstay of my home.) This is a heavy pot without being weighty. The base of it is thick and distributes heat well. The lid is well-fitted. Condensation drips back in evenly. The lid doesn't spit water around my cooktop when water is boiling inside. Let's hear it for good design! The handles are small but you can easily hold onto them even with thick pot holders. 6 quarts is a very versatile size. It is large enough for almost all of my stew recipes but still small enough that I can easily store it in my kitchen cupboards. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

My wife says she loves me, and, I think it is because I let her indulge in her cravings for the best cookware around, namely, All-Clad. I hate to think about all the (so-called) "inexpensive" cookware sets I've bought in the past. Our (nearly complete) All-Clad set will last us indefinitely (and, probably, get passed down to the next generation). If you shop carefully (buying in sets, or catching the occasional sale), you can get All-Clad pieces at less-than-full-retail. One Caveat: if you happen to leave an empty pot on the stove over a full-on flame, you 'can' ruin it by plunging it immediately into cold water (yes, learned the hard way). Turn off the flame, walk away, and give it an hour or so to cool down slowly.

This is the most used pot in my kitchen. I use it to cook just about everything, including soups and marinara sauces.

For a while, I had a few other brands of pots but I kept reaching for this one, so I gave away the others.

Things I like are:

*Heat distributes very evenly with no burning or hot spots. The only time I've had any burning is when I forgot and left a nearly empty pot on the burner for a few hours.

*Easy to clean. Even when I burned it to a crisp, I was able to scrape off the charred stuff and it is good as new!

*Handles are nicely shaped and convenient

*The design is simple and elegant, and a pleasure to use.

This is our fourth All Clad pot. Apart from cast iron, I wouldn't buy any other cookware at this point. Because of the wide base, this stock pot heats up *very* fast on the largest (11 inch) induction element on our cooktop--boiling water for pasta in about a minute. (If you have an induction cooktop, you do have to pay attention to which All Clad product line you are purchasing. Not all of that manufacturer's products come with magnetic stainless exteriors, but both of the high end 'stainless steel' and 'copper core' lines do.) All Clad cookware is expensive, but it is one of those product lines which confirms the maxim: 'you get what you pay for.'

I used this item for the first time today. I made some chicken I had soaking in a mostly buttermilk and jalapeño brine for 3 days. After 3 days of anticipation you can guess that I was really hoping this item would come through. It did a great job. The rack sits almost 5 inches off the grill so if you use big drums you will need a fair amount of clearance. Anticipating this I removed the top rack inside the lid of my grill that I usually use to cook dogs and brats. Depending on the size of your drums you may not even need to do this. Anyway...this little rack is big on quality. It is pressed into pretty heavy gauge stainless steel and it surprised me with its heft. Its legs fold under for easy storage and they are not light or thin, they are heavier gauge as well.

I made 12 drums that were of large to extra large in size so I did every other hole and alternated the rows. This allowed me to maximize space. if you are cooking medium to small drums, or organic, you can probably use every hole, but that is a lot of chicken. Unless you are having a party you probably won't need 24 drums. The large number of holes is for the other purpose of this item, roasted Jalapeño peppers or poppers. I have not yet made them, and honestly I don't know if I ever will; but I can see how this product would probably be ideal for it, as long as your peppers aren't too skinny.

All in all this item makes grilling chicken drumsticks super easy, you don't have to worry about turning them since they are vertical, because of this they cook evenly and more thoroughly in my opinion. Interestingly the meat kind of gathers even more so on the fat end, kinda like a chicken lollipop...mmmm delicious.

This cookware is very compact and fits in my bug out pack. They all work great and are dishwasher safe. Everything fits into the pot and stores neatly in a small bag. The fold away handles work well. The bottoms of the pans have a copper coating for great heat transfer. The only problem I had was food sticking to the stainless steel frying pan. You need to use a cooking oil to help. For breakfast, cooking bacon first is perfect. You will have some difficulty trying to fry fish without a bit of oil. You can store a small scouring pad inside the kit. Someone was thinking when they designed this cookware. Works great for two people while primitive camping.

I've been waiting a long time to purchase a really nice cookware set. I've had my eyes on this set for a very long time and after much debate, i finally purchased on amazon. When it arrived, I was so impressed. I anxiously took everything out of the box and rush to the kitchen to start cooking (also, I must say that the way the company packaged this 13 piece set in the box was amazing). After I finished cooking, I had food that "appeared" to have been stuck on...but to my surprise, it was just an illusion. Cleaning these pots were amazing and were like magic. I simply had to wipe away my mess with very little pressure or effort. I don't know how else to describe this cookware set other than saying this is in fact the best investment I've made this month. The seller shipped this out asap and I received it in a timely manner. The seller also answered some questions that I had in a timely fashion and was very friendly and professional. Overall I love this set. It's a very "sophisticated" and fancy looking set of cookware. The quality is amazing and it was worth every cent. Unfortunately, there are only 5 stars because I would definitely rate this with 10 stars...

I got this set for my birthday and I am in love. The set is durable, handles don't heat up during cooking and the pots and pans heat up so high, you may have to slightly adjust you cooking settings. My old pots and pans were T-Fal. I have never seen water boil so vigorously and quickly as they do in the Circulon pots and pans. The non-stick feature is also much better. I cooked ground turkey in the pan and forgot to spray the pan with cooking spray. I cooked the turkey without any oil or spray and didn't realize what I had done until the turkey was fully cooked! No negatives to report thus far.

I was ready for a new set of pans and started my search, I looked at everything on line. I have a glass range top and you do need to be careful with what the pan bottoms are made of. I've had my 13 pc set of the Circulon Premier Professional for a couple months.

This set is wonderful quality a very good feel to the weight not heavy but solid feeling. Wipes clean with soap and water nothing sticks! The bottoms are perfect for any stove top especially for glass. The color is so different it brings style to cooking.

I do wish the made more of the smaller quart sizes ie: 2, 3, quarts sizes in open stock. You'll love cooking in this set.

I have used the lid lifter that requires manually setting the lifter in such a way that it puts tension on the three prongs. Sometimes, if you don't get it just right the lid falls off when you pick it up. This design is a whole lot better and is easy to use and lift the lid off.

This is a great dutch oven lid lifter. It grips the hot handle on the lid and allows a firm grip on the lid. You also use the leg with the upward curve to turn the whole dutch oven by the bail wire on the dutch oven. As most manuals suggest, every 15 minutes of cooking you turn the dutch oven pot clockwise a 1/4 of a turn and then turn the lid counterclockwise 1/4 turn; this helps prevent hot spots on the oven that burn your food. This 22-inch lifter is great if the dutch oven is being used on ground level. When you have an elevated cooking site like a cooking table, the shorter version of this same lid lifter should give you more control. I use the 9" version of this same lifter for that. I'm glad I got both. Really like Camp Chef lid lifters.

I received the Talisman Beechwood Salad Set as a gift and what a perfect gift it has been. I fondly remember growing up with Revere cookware during the '50s and '60s. It was sturdy and manufactured with care to precise measurements. Unfortunately, this is NOT the same product. Apparently, Revere cookware is now being manufactured in some third-world dumpster. The overall construction is flimsy; it bends and dents easily. None of the lids fit properly. The unreasonably thin "copper-cladding" was unevenly applied and looks like a roller-coaster ride around the sides of the saucepans. Revere needs to clean-up its act, or go out-of-business.

I ordered 2 of these 2-quart saucepans because I had owned them and liked them in the past. I only threw them out after letting them boil dry and turn into molten lava. The pans that I bought in September 2005 were manufactured in China and did not measure up to the past quality of those made in the USA and Korea. The interiors are oddly rough and the knob on the top of one of the covers has a sharp edge. These pans are worth the $15.33 I paid for each of them and not a penny more.

I was happy to find this item for sale, but it is of such poor quality that I am returning it. The bottom is so thin that the stamp shows through to the inside, and it is also raised to the touch. You can pop the bottom in and out with very little pressure. It looks much like the one I bought in the 1990s, but the quality is very inferior. I feel that the claim of "even heat distribution" is false. Disappointing for Corning.

All the good reviews seem to be from 2005 and earlier.

I was so relieved to find my beloved Revere pans online....until I got them in the mail. I have owned Revere pans for 32 years and my youngest pans are 12 years old. I wanted to replace some of the oldest ones, but after seeing the poor quality of these new Revere pans, I am sending them back. When I compared them to the pans in my kitchen, the new ones were lighter weight, thinner handles, and flimsy connections from the handle to the pan. So disappointing. These are a bad buy.

As a great many other reviewers I grew up with Revere pots and pans in the house, though not the copper clad. Most of the pots and pans we had growing up had been around so long the handles were falling off or the phenolic knobs/handles pitted from much use, and still they were the ones we used. Yes, the new version is made over seas. No, nothing will ever be as good as the memories of childhood; how can anything be as good as our mothers' cooking! That being said, this product was exactly as I was expecting. It came well packaged without any perceivable damage. The bottom as well as the rest of the pan appear to be of acceptable thickness and quality of material. The lit fits uniformly, no it will not be a snug fit, but Revere has never claimed to have a lid that "seals". If I had wanted that I would have bought a pressure cooker. The copper bottom will visibly rainbow as all copper products do. You will have to take special care and use a stainless steel/copper cleaner such as Kleen King to remove the discoloration. I have such a cleaner already that I use for the sink. Use it every-time you wash your pan and you will always have a shiny copper bottom worthy of display!

I liked the dinosaur gift cutter so much and found that the kids loved having shape sandwiches so I ordered the heart shapped cutter and another. This sandwich cutter does a decent job overall. The plastic usually cuts down into the sandwich but sometimes needs a little extra pressure or a knife to separate thick parts. It doesn't always fit the sandwich depending on the size of the bread but that is to be expected. But the kids that don't like crust love this cutter and I need to get more in different shapes/animals.

I really appreciate how easily this crust cutter slices through a sandwich. It is lightweight and easy to clean but it does require a fairly large bread-size, in order to get the whole shape. Oftentimes, whole grain bread loaves are more "horizontal" than square, and the bread cutter doesn't fit at all. But if you prefer to eat lighter breads, or even white bread, it will likely be a perfect shape.

Nevertheless, it is a delightful shape, and I'm glad I purchased it.

I find that these type of sandwich cutters work best when used directly on a cutting board. It allows you to put enough pressure to correctly cut the bread. If you don't want to haul out your cutting board, all you have to do is push down and tear the crust away. As other reviewers have stated, this item is slightly too big for a regular sized loaf of commercial bread. You can get around this problem by using a larger loaf of bread than usual or just cut it in the way that best fits your bread. Your kiddo probably won't notice. I used it tonight to cut pizza dough to make heart shaped pizzas to include in my son's Valentine's Day lunch for tomorrow. It worked perfect. I'd give it another star if it were slightly smaller.

I measured the closed bottom max width as 5 3/8 inches. It stands on three 7/8 inch long legs. These dimensions mean it will fit about any pot with a top rim diameter opening of 5 and 1/2 inches.

The center post and ring have not yet been too hot for me to lift the steamer from a pot. I then fold out the sides so I can slide off the steamed vegetables into whatever dish I'm preparing. This item replaced a Black and Decker steamer. The capacity of which I no longer needed, particularly it's rice cooking ability, having bought a separate unit for that.

This collapsible steamer has made kitchen life easier for this live-alone grandpa.

This steamer works GREAT in small & large saucepots or in fry pans/skillets. Only a small amount of the liquid of your choice is needed to steam all your favorite vegetables, shrimp, clams, etc.

The ring on the post in the middle of the basket is especially helpful for lifting the steamer out of the cooking pot. However, the ring & post are removable for items needing more room, like corn on the cob or whole heads of cauliflower. The steamer folds compactly for easy storage. I use mine frequently and it still looks new after 20 years.

I chose the five star rating because everything about it is great! I have had a couple other Paula Deen skillets and have used them for a couple years with perfect service. However the larger of the two had begun to stick, which they all do after awhile. So I chose this larger one. One of the things I love is the enamel bottoms. You can see anything burnt on and keep it looking so nice throughtout the life of the pan. Other surfaces soon become unable to keep clean no matter how hard you try. Love it and yes, would recommend it.

Have 3 different sizes of Paula Aden's skillets. I love the straight sides of this skillet! The handle is extremely comfortable! The pan is lightweight, but very good quality. Cleans up like a dream! Follow the directions...never cook higher than medium and do not put the pan in the dishwasher. I initially is was put off by that, but the temperature is really no problem and clean up is ridiculously easy! I love using them! Great purchase.
