I don't know how it happened but I somehow inherited all these different kinds of wraps. This organizer really helped tame the avalance that was always threatening. I hated trying to find the wrap I needed and risking a cut from the surrated cutting edge when I reached into the pile. With this organizer, the tops tend to stay down and I can see just what I wanted. The only thing I can think of that would make it better is if it were a little deeper so it handled the extra long wrap boxes. Still, I am happy with the purchase.

Best Kitchen Wrap Organizer Deals
It's hard to complain about this one. It does what it's supposed to do. I wish it was bigger, but it wouldn't fit in the cabinet if it was. It's pretty good for what it is.

This is my second Rachel Ray fry pan and I love them. Totally non stick. Squirt in a little dish soap, add hot water, swish it around and it's clean. I don't put mine in the dish washer because they're so easy to clean by hand. I was a little disappointed to see that the top rim measures 10'' and the bottom is a lot smaller but I love it anyway.
My husband liked these so much that he purchased another two from Amazon for our small catering company and they have done quite well under those, less than ideal, conditions.
For the price, this is great little kitchen workhorse. It is easy to clean and hold up well and the handle is great since it doesn't get hot. I would recommend this item.

I bought one of these skillets several years ago and have been very careful to use only silicone or plastic utensils in it. It has held up beautifully. I usually hand wash this skillet, but it has gone in the dishwasher multiple times (my husband doesn't hand wash anything if he can help it). I would definitely buy another one of these for my personal use.My husband liked these so much that he purchased another two from Amazon for our small catering company and they have done quite well under those, less than ideal, conditions.

I had high hopes for this skillet: deep, with a clear glass lid, and nonstick. Unfortunately, the bottom warped when I had it on low heat on my glass cooktop stove. This meant it was no longer in contact with part of the burner. It's going back. I have a great Farberware 12" nonstick skillet (with no lid) that is shallower and heavier; it is the "Classic Stainless Steel" but the nonstick coating was wearing off. I can't find the pan anymore although it's not that old.Best Deals for Farberware High Performance Nonstick 12" Covered Deep Skillet, Black

This knife as received was sharp as a razor. It is nicely balanced and quite flexible for cutting roasts, steaks, etc. Finish was perfect as to be expected and should provide years of excellent service. Bottom line? The old Wusthof and Henckels cutlery are to be treasured. Latest batch of knives leave much to be desired in terms of maintenance. Newer iterations of same doesn't translate to "better."

I added this knife to a block set and in retrospect I probably could have gone with the eight inch. It is a great knife, however, and makes carving a dream. With so many high end knives for sale, be it Japanese or German, I've found some middle ground with my ancient Henckels #31060 NLA. As a carving/slicer 10" knife, the best bang for the buck. If you can find this old guy, snag it ASAP. This knife holds an edge and is very easy to resharpen when needed. IMO, most current high end knives of any country of origin, are Rockwell 59/60 hardness, i.e., very tough to resharpen when the time comes. You'll know when it's time.....e.g. take the blade to your fingernail and gently try and scrape off some keratin. Don't laugh people, a great gauge your knives' "sharpness." Or.....do the the "sliced paper test," instead.Bottom line? The old Wusthof and Henckels cutlery are to be treasured. Latest batch of knives leave much to be desired in terms of maintenance. Le Creuset L7473-0030 Moroccan Tagine (Cobalt Blue) Review
I ordered this following a vacation trip to Morocco. WHY DIDN"T I BUY ONE IN MOROCCO ? I was impressed with the Moroccan style of Tagine cooking but wasn't sure I could count on a lead-free glazes on the Tagines at the markets or shops. I was told the cooking Tagines were plain terra cotta and the decorative ones were for serving only. Before I ordered my Le Creuset Tagine, I put up several jars of salted preserved lemons. When the Tagine arrived I was surprised to find a lighter weight bottom than the normal Le Creuset enamel over cast iron cookware and a heavy pottery chimey top. I read reviews, suggestions and recipes on line and decided to try a chicken, lemon and olive tagine as my first dish. I combined the cooking instructions that came from Le Creuset with a recipe I got in Morocco. When I watched tagine cooking in Morocco, at various stages of cooking, they set the chimey top of the tagines on the edge of the base and ocassionally removed it from the base. I observed the cooking process done on small burners over glowing coals and on wood fired stove tops. When I made the chicken tagine, I use a FLAME TAMER (a star shaped wire that sits on the electric burner of a stove and dispurses the heat). I watched the tagine and adjusted the lid/cone as needed to more closely replicate the Moroccan style of cooking in my home kitchen. The result was fabulous. Great if you love to cook and fuss with food as I do.
So far I have not been able to get food to stick to the base (unlike my other Le Creuset pots) and the steaming at low heat does seem to concentrate & intensity the flavor. I bought some new (to me) spices (cumin, tumeric, coriander seeds, etc) to follow some simple recipes and everything has come out wonderfully well.
The only down side is that it will not make a lot of food at once (dinner for four is a stretch) and it is not quick. But it does things for stews that no other preparation method can do.

Although I have no background to vouch for any ethnic authenticity of this product (I was almost thrown out of Williams Sonoma when I asked the lady if I could prepare a beef stew in a tagine), I will say that the Le Creuset version is a very attractive piece of decor and it makes for some awesome stews. So far I have not been able to get food to stick to the base (unlike my other Le Creuset pots) and the steaming at low heat does seem to concentrate & intensity the flavor. Cuisinart WWS5-622PT Weight Watchers 5-Piece Stainless Pasta Reviews
The first time I used this pot, it developed a few small black spots inside the 6-quart pot: on the bottom and sides of the pot. That was the day it arrived. I had washed it in hot water with mild soap, as per the enclosed instructions, and boiled a pot of spaghetti over medium-high heat, also per instructions. The second time I used it, black spots formed on the insert. Again, after cooking as directed. I cleaned the pot shortly after using, not allowing water to sit in it for a long time, and dried it by hand immediately after washing. I am not sure if the silver is flaking off or if the spots are merely a discoloration. Either way, it does not instill confidence in the manufacturer or, indeed, in the name Weight Watchers. This pot was bought new, was not misused or even put in a dish washer, as I do not own one. I washed it with dish soap and hot water. Neither of which have ever caused this to happen with any of my other cookwear. In future, I will steer clear of this brand and manufacturer.

Fabulous plates. I own a dozen Apilco 12 inch plates. I was seeking to increase my number of plates so that I could host a large Thanksgiving dinner. At $95 EACH the Apilcos are way out of my price range (they weren't so expensive when I bought them years ago). After searching high and low for 12 inch plates, I found these. They are much heavier than the Apilcos but look fine right next to them. One really can't tell the difference as the are the same bright white color, the rims are the same width. These are much thicker but one doesn't notice this once the table is set. Like all 12 inch plates, these won't fit in most dishwashers and maybe not even in the kitchen sinks of most people (mine included). The bottom rim is rough from the kiln, not smooth like my other dishes. When stacked these plates will likely scratch each other. I store them with a thin paper plate or a paper towel between them to prevent this. To close, these are very nice plates at a terrific price. I highly recommend them. Our last ones finally had to be replaced. Great for us because nine inch plates are too small. Safe in dishwasher

Discount Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $140.00
Sale Price: $62.09

Until hard-anodized aluminum came along, professional chefs scoffed at the very notion of nonstick cookware. Once they gave it a try, whole new culinary worlds opened up. How else can you whip up a scrambled eggs with cheese concoction and not leave half of it stuck to the pan? Meanwhile, the rest of us looked on wistfully and sighed at the high price, not to mention the fact that you can't just throw it in the dishwasher or look to the future and use it on an induction cooktop.
Infinite Circulon changed all that, especially with this 10-inch and 12-inch pair of open skillets. They're everything you expect from Circulon 2, like a nonstick surface that's really nonstick plus the ability to cook on ANY kind of stove, including induction. The hollow stainless steel handles really do stay cool on the stove while upping the in-the-oven temperature to a whopping 500 degrees F. When you're done, they can go right into the dishwasher and come out looking new, not pitted and corroded.
For a Lenten Friday dinner, we made whole wheat Fettuccine Marinara finished Bolognese-style, cooking and stirring the firm pasta in a couple cups of sauce until tender in the 12-inch skillet. Marinara sauce is hardly a challenge and it washed right out. On to a tougher challenge!
I made a couple fried egg and cold cut sandwiches the following Saturday, first frying the meat in the ungreased 12-incher, followed by the eggs without adding any grease or oil. Perfection! The eggs picked up a little of the browned bits left from frying the meat and that added some flavor. A quick hand-wash cleaned up with minimal effort.
Lately, the 10 inch skillet and my portable induction cooktop have become weekly visitors to the breakroom at work. Wednesday is hot breakfast day and I can turn out one omelet after another without having to scrape a mess out of the pan after each one. When we're in the mood for pancakes, I pack my Infinite Circulon round griddle.
As another reviewer points out, the manufacturer warns against using cooking spray, but it's OK to add a touch of oil for flavor. I oven fried a few strips of bacon and while the bacon drained on a layer of paper towels I poured off all of the grease, leaving behind a thin coating. I dumped in a double batch of Jiffy corn muffin mix and put it back into the oven for about 25 minutes. The result: a skillet Johnnycake that slipped right out and onto the cutting board. There's definitely an ooey-gooey pineapple upside-down cake in this skillet's future. It's already become my first choice when I need an easy-to-clean baking dish or small roasting pan for, say, a quartet of quarter-pound meatballs.
With its low price and cook-anywhere versatility, Infinite Circulon really is investment-quality cookware. When this pair of skillets is on sale, it's all that and a steal.

I'm disappointed. My daughter bought a pair shortly after I did, and she's disappointed too. We've had non-stick pans before that were much better for the same price. So, beware, these won't be non-stick for long, and you will be left with two nice, heavy pans that stuff sticks to.
Also, the design of the larger pan is not the best. The handle is too long and thin, and the pan is so heavy it's nearly impossible to pick up to pour anything out of it. There needs to be another handle on the other side. To be fair, other reviewers mentioned this; I just thought I was stronger than average. (I'm apparently not--the pan is too heavy for me).
So, buyer beware. You might be disappointed if non-stick is really important to you.
Even heating, stay cool handles, great weight but not too heavy at all, easy cleaning and doesn't look or feel cheap. I hand wash, but if someone puts in the dishwasher, I won't panic. Now, I will purchase other pieces and look forward to cooking once again.

I wanted to love these pans. I read all the reviews before buying them and thought they'd be really great pans. I've had them for two years now. I've been very careful with them, never washing them in the dishwasher, never cleaning them while hot, never using metal utensils, using the tiniest amount of oil, if any at all. Honest reviews on Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch
They are very high quality and a great value for the price. I've had them about a week and have used them a few times, I've very happy with them, they fry well, clean up great and are very pretty. I took the advice of another buyer and put a paper towel between them when storing since they have a bottom that might scratch the other one. I'm sorry folks, but I do cook with oils sometimes, that hasn't seemed to harm them, although I haven't had them too long. So we'll see. The sides are very high and the bottoms aren't large, so it would limit some things I'd like to cook, however, the high sides might be good for other things. I noticed after cooking in them yesterday with a temperature a little over medium that the bottom picked up the image of the gas burner... it did come off, but if not cleaned each time, it might discolor the bottoms a lot. The handles stay cool! and I was concerned with that but no problem. They are a little heavy and takes a couple of hands to lift the big one...so if you have any wrist problems, arthritis or are getting older, these might not be the ones for you. All in all, I'm very happy with them so far.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch

Cheap Country Cabin 11-1/2-Inch Round Skillet
I bought this pan locally from Wally World at a pretty cheap price. The surface is rough and a little uneven in one spot, at least my example is uneven, but it is a very heavy, sturdy feeling pan and the surface will smooth out eventually. The pan does function as well as any other cast iron pan I've used. Lodge Logic pans, as far as my experience goes, are always quite smooth and perfect but hard to get where I am living unfortunately. This pan is like a reliable old truck with a weaker paint job compared to the Cadillac that is the Lodge pan.
On the plus side: the Country Cabin 11.5 inch pan does have a more rustic feel and a cooler design with the handle thumb groove and overall appearance. With time I will make it a work of art and I'm sure it will last forever as I am very conscientious in regards to my cast iron care. If looking for perfection buy Lodge.
Cheers!I use several pieces of cast iron to cook meals on a regular basis. This skillet is pre-seasoned well and easily cooks from the moment received. The second assist handle is nice and main handle is large and well shaped. Skillet is not the deepest I have but still very nice.

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $370.00
Sale Price: $289.95

My wife and I purchased a LeCruset pot three years ago and use it frequently. It truly creates an oven-like amosphers right on the stove top. Our range has settings from 1 through 8 and we never set the element under this pot above a four. It heats up quickly and holds its heat seemingly forever. Yes, it was rather pricey, but we feel it was worth the investment. The best of any product is always pricey. The interior enamel is slightly stained from use, but I'd guess that's to be expected. We wouldn't hesitate to make the investment all over again.
So yes, as one of the reviewers pointed out, LeCreuset might outlive your kitchen design, or it may not look as fancy as All-Clad and whatever else show-off cooking ware is out there, but you have to think about what you are looking for in your pots and pans.
I am aware that the prices are rather steep, but like most things, in the long run you spend less. I bought cheap pots and pans before which I then had to throw away because they became uneven and just would not conduct the heat evenly on an electric stove. I will gladly invest some more money into a LeCreuset and keep it for the next decades to come.
If you do any serious cooking, you know that certain cookware types are great for some tasks but not others. This goes for Le Creuset, copper, All-Clad Yuppieware, or whatever else. With that in mind, Le Creuset is made for and best at braising, stews, and other slow cooking. It's fabulous for things that go into the oven after starting on the stovetop (osso buco etc.). Yes, you should take care to use wooden spoons instead of metal on the enamel. And no, it doesn't fire up quickly. Then again, neither does All-Clad, it's much touted "inner layer " of aluminum notwithstanding. If you need to quickly sear things, black'n'blue steaks, etc. get yourself copper or Calphalon Pro Hard-anodized, both of which are much better heat conductors than steel.
If you want to make Coq au Vin, curries, and other things that simmer gently or need to be finished in the oven, this is your guy.
The lesson here is: Don't forget about your $250 dutch oven on the stove.

I remember my grandma using the LeCreuset dutch/french ovens. She had them for some 30+ years before she passed away (LeCreuset survived her). I have always been impressed by the longevity of LeCreuset products. Of course, while they last, they may get chipped, or get dull, but I don't care about that. I don't need shiny, brand new looking cooking utensils. I care about the results, and there I think LeCreuset can not be beat. If you are into "slow-food" LeCreuset is your choice.

First, I couldn't disagree more with the person who claimed getting one of these "sets" of the same line of cookware is a desirable thing. They tend to be overpriced and feature things you rarely use. (Notice they never feature a 5 qt sauté pan but you can always count on some useless little 8 or 10-inch "omelette pan.")If you do any serious cooking, you know that certain cookware types are great for some tasks but not others. Honest reviews on Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 7-1/4-Quart Round French Oven, Flame
I have this in the "citrus" color. This one time, I left it on the stove pre-heating before I add oil and forgot about it. It got pretty hot and now the bottom has all these little tiny hairline cracks in them. The pot is still fine, but now it stains a lot easier. I have to put bleach and water in it every once in a while to get rid of the stains. The lesson here is: Don't forget about your $250 dutch oven on the stove.

My wife and I use this all the time to make stews, curries, etc. The bottom is wide so there's room to brown a lot of meat at once. The heat seems to be very even. The coating is durable and really easy to clean. Highly recommended!Thursday, July 17, 2014

My wife purchased this to make no-knead bread. All this is a fancy casserole dish. It is a welcome change from the standard white dish, with blue designs on the side. Or my other favorite the white dish with dancing bunnies, or dancing salt and pepper shakers. Before this purple dish, I don't think there have been any other casserole dishes manufactured since 1981.
This is a bit oddly shaped, so if you're going to put this away when you're done understand that you will need a big space to do it. In the right colored kitchen, this would look good sitting out.
