The product arrived as promised. I use it for my homemade smoker and it works great for hanging meat. Have used it about 30 times since purchased and while dirty it has not corroded or rusted in any way. I would buy this product again

Im going to use these for dry aging whole cuts of beef. They are the Perfect size. Very sturdy. I'm glad I got 8 of them!

The actual product length is about 5 inches from curve to curve, and 9 inches from pointed tip to flat tip. Item length was not properly described on seller's product page and what I received was different from what I expected, yet seller still expects me to pay shipping and handling both ways, and a restocking fee. Very unhappy.

Expensive, of course! Worth it? Absolutely!

I LOVE this copper pot rack! I especially enjoy having the warmth of copper in my kitchen, which adds a "decorator touch" like no other.

I also enjoy having the extra, new-found storage in my cupboards, that this pot rack has freed up!

Would I buy this item again?

In a word, ABSOLUTELY!

I have bought brand name nonstick cookware in the past that was only nonstick for the first few uses, even though I cared for it properly. I bought a Circulon pan decades ago, when they first came out, and did not like it. This time around, I was looking for a 12" nonstick pan and decided to try these even though they were Circulon, after reading reviews here and elsewhere, because I am too cheap to spend twice the money for one pan that I liked more.

I'm glad I bought these. This is the first time nonstick pans have still been nonstick after 20 days of use, usually 2 times per day! I have been treating this cookware in my usual way:

* My gas stove burners have 8 settings: high numbers 1 through 6 low. I do not go above 5 with this cookware; usually 4 is sufficient.

* I have used oil or butter in the pans, to make fried rice or grilled cheese, for example.

* I wait until the pan has cooled to wash it.

* I use silicone utensils.

* I hand wash the pans using the soft nonabrasive side of the sponge.

So this morning I made eggs to test whether it was still nonstick. I did not add any butter to the pan. The burner setting was 4. I broke an egg into the pan and scrambled it with a silicon spatula. There was a slight egg white film on the bottom of the pan, but otherwise, the egg came out just fine. This egg was for my dog.

I then cooked 2 fried eggs in the pan, without cleaning it first. They came out beautifully, leaving no discernible trace of the egg white film beneath where they had been. When the pan cooled, the little bit of egg film that remained from scrambling the egg had dried. I wiped it out with a paper towel. There is still a tiny bit of this very, very thin egg film in the crevices of the circles, but it came out in a jiffy when I washed the pan.

These pans clean up in a jiffy, too, which is a huge plus in my book.

The only thing I don't like about these pans is that there is no hole through the tip of the handle so I can hang them on a hook. There is a what should I call it? kind of a shallow cave-like opening on the back of the handle, so I can still hang it facing outward (with the inner pan exposed). I have a rack (5 TIER UNIT USES 3/4 DIAMTER CHROME POSTS (Chrome) (47"H x 18"W x 18"D)) that I store my cookware on, including hanging pans from it. This works because of that cave thing, but my dog likes to curl up beside it and I'm afraid the pans will fall on him. To alleviate that, I put a Rubbermaid Step Stool in that spot. He can't nap beneath the pans any more, so I don't have to worry.

I highly recommend this set of pans.

This set of skillets from Circulon is a pretty good set of pans.

Really non-stick. I like to use a little oil for flavor, but not much is required. Add a little oil for the first pancake and you don't really need to for the next one. Cook a fried egg with no oil at all. It's nice to make scrambled eggs with cheese and not have any cheese stick to the pan. The description says dishwasher safe but because of the nonstick they are very quick and easy to hand wash and probably won't need to go in the dishwasher.

The smooth stainless steel base makes them good for all cook tops, including glass and induction.

Silicone grips on the metal handles keeps them from ever feeling hot but are still oven safe up to 400 (F) degrees.

If you want these pans to stay non-stick, you can't use cooking spray, but that is clearly stated in the use and care. Likewise, you should only use them over low to medium heat as with pretty much all nonstick cookware.

I have a couple of small concerns, which won't be issues for everybody. If you feel that you need a skillet which is oven safe for higher temperatures, you might consider another Circulon offering similiarly priced, Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch & 12-Inch Open Skillets Twin Pack These are oven safe up to 500 (F) degrees. They also have a hole in the handle so that you can hang them, something which is missing on this set. However, you get the higher oven temperature by having an all metal handle which gets very hot if you use them in the oven. Also their sides are more sloped, which means you get a little smaller cooking area.

The pans are just what I was looking for. However, it took three shipments before I received pans that were not defective. Cooking.com was very concerned that the large pan was defective the first two times I received my order. They notified the supplier and on the third shipment I finally received pans I could use. I didn't have to pay anything to return the first two orders, but it was inconvenient to have to box the shipments up and return them.

This is the first time I have ordered anything through Amazon.com that was defective.

Honest reviews on Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch

I admit, I was hesitant to purchase these, because of the price. I have never paid more than 100 bucks for an entire set of pots and pans, to pay half that for only two... but it was worth it. These pans are amazing and the food slips off of them. Cleaning them is very easy. the best feature is the height on the sides, which allow you to cook dishes with sauce or that need mixing, without it falling over the edge to the stove top. The rubber handle is a good grip. The only "con" is that they are very heavy, not that its really a con with the 10 inch pan, but the 12 inch pan is huge and heavy, making it a little awkward to cook with (and i have a little stove, 20"). But would buy again. I don't know if I would pay 250 for the whole set though, but these are the most used out of my set that needed replacement.

My wife and I love making homemade pizza from scratch. We make the dough and the sauce from fresh ingredients. We normally use a large version of these pans that you can find just about everywhere but we always had several pieces leftover. I saw these pans in time for Valentines day and bought them to make a stay at home pizza date night for us. The pans are the perfect size for individual servings and are just enough to eat for us. The non stick coating on them is one of the best I have cooked on and the perforations cook the bottom evenly to make a light crispy crust. They cleaned up in a matter of minutes by hand and stack/store out of the way due to their size. The beautifully browned mini pizzas just slid off of them onto the plate. I cannot recommend this pizza pan set highly enough! One note: because of the wonderful non stick coating PLEASE wait till you get the pizzas on the plate to slice them. Make that coating last!

We like to make personal pizzas with the kids and until now we've just cooked them on aluminum foil on a cookie sheet. That worked fine, but one day Amazon recommended these pans and I took a flyer on them. So glad I did. The difference in the crust is night and day. Now our pizzas come out with a perfect golden, crispy crust. We were all amazed at what we'd been missing.

These pans are wonderful. I make pizzas in them and put them in the freezer and when I am ready to eat pizza I just take one out of the freezer and put it in my toaster oven. The directions that I received with the pans indicated that the pans shoud not be oiled but the first set that I made stuck to the pan so now I just spray the pans with Pam and the pizzas just roll right off when I am ready to eat them. I also use these in my Secura Halogen oven rather than using the toaster oven. This is a wonderful product and well worth the price.

I was looking for a 30 qt stainless steel pot for canning (I will use it for multiple purposes--sometimes to make acidic soups/sauces, etc., so a cheaper aluminum pot wouldn't fit the bill). This was the best price I could find anywhere online and much cheaper than my local restaurant supply. The lid fits great, love the double riveted handles--very sturdy. My one beef is that the bottom is not as thick/solid as I would like--when filled up, the metal is thin enough that the bottom will bow out (even when it's empty, you can "ping" the bottom in and out by pushing on the middle of it)--made me a bit nervous when it was loaded and I hope the bottom doesn't eventually wear through in the areas where it rests on gas burner grates. Fortunately, the box advertises a 5 year warranty--I plan to put it through the wringer with canning, so I'll how it holds up in the long term.

I have owned this pan for 3-4 years. I plan on replacing my 10 inch about that often as they begin to show some wear -that isn't bad for $20 or so. I have not found a nonstick surface that holds up to metal utensils or high heat. If you are careful about these things, this pan can last several years. I use mine almost every day.

I needed a new 10" non stick fry pan and purchased this thinking it would be heavier than it really was. I was worried when I first used it thinking my food would burn easily etc. Well, it is a great pan! It browns chops and chicken well, the heat distributes evenly. It cleans up really well. I really like it.

Update March 2013. This pan is still going strong. I use it for everything and the finish is still as good as it was when I first got it.

Best Deals for Revere Polished Aluminum 10-Inch Nonstick Skillet

This item has good depth (holds lots of food, and I can stir contents without dribbling over the edge) best skillet I ever had my old one of the same type lasted years.

Honest reviews on Revere Polished Aluminum 10-Inch Nonstick Skillet

My mom bought me the 12 inch version of this skillet about 8 years ago, and it's been in daily use for at least the last 5. I can't believe how well it's held up! The non-stick finish is still intact, with only the most superficial of surface scratches, and still works great. So when I couldn't stand my 10 inch "Simply Calphalon" much-more-expensive-piece-of-garbage skillet another minute, due to terrible flaking and peeling of its coating, I looked high and low for a 10 inch Revereware. Nowhere to be found, until I came to Amazon. Thank goodness they still sell these here! I'm going to buy another 12 inch and store it away, just in case of the terrible event that Revere would stop making them all together; that's how much I love them.

I was afraid this new one might be different since it was several years since my old one was purchased, but it looks and feels just the same. I cook everything from eggs to chili in these skillets; their deep sides allow browning of meats followed by adding substantial amounts of liquid, all in one pan. If you treat them nicely, following the manufacturer's instructions, they'll last for many years. Only use plastic or wooden utensils, avoid super-high heat or drastic rapid temperature changes. It's not necessary to wash them after every use; they're so non-stick that you can usually just wipe them out with a paper towel -this helps preserve the coating. When they do get dirty, hand wash only; dishwashers are harsh on non-stick coatings. I've done all of this with many other brands of skillets and still they wore out after only a year or two; Reveres are the only ones I've found that last.

I was looking for "old school" skillets that weren't so heavy like the anodized ones they are making now. I had TFal for years, but it finally shot craps. The TFal being sold on Amazon had reviews stating they were shallow skillets. That wasn't what I wanted, so I took a chance on these. I am very pleased! They are great...lightweight, non-stick, and the perfect depth. They do discolor on the outside as another user mentioned, but that doesn't bother me. My skillets are kept in a cabinet and not on display. The only thing I warn against is using metal utensils! I was kind of mashing some hamburger and stirring it with a regular stainless skill serving spoon, and it did knick it up a little. My TFal wasn't that sensitive, so I didn't know. Ooops!

What I like most about this pot is that it has a copper bottom, sandwiched between two other layers of metal. I think that copper is the BEST metal for even heat distribution. Also, I like that it's a big pot that doesn't have a huge base that would overwelm the stovetop. (The diameter and height are each 9 inches.)

I have used this pot several times in the short time I've owned it. I like the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my stove and the heavy bottom prevents scorching.

We've thrown out all the teflon because these pans are awesome! They truly are non-stick, and if for some reason there is something leftover in the pan, it literally washes out with just water...you don't even need to use a sponge! Warning, these pans get hot and hold the heat, so cook on lower heat than you normally would. If you are one of those people who cooks everything on high, you will be very disappointed, as your food will be very well done in no time at all. Yes, I am re-learning to cook everything on medium heat. Also, because the pans hold their heat, they continue to cook even after you turn off the stove, so be careful if you are cooking something delicate like eggs to remove them from the pan as soon as they are done or they will be rubbery. I use a few drops of oil for moisture in my food, but it is not necessary. Once you use these pans, there is no going back. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pans. They are also nice to look at on my pot rack...no more ugly stains on the inside or out, like my stainless steel and other coated pans.

Best Deals for Kitchen World Nonstick Marble Coated Pans (Set of 4)

The quality of these pans is excellent, far surpassed my expectations. Thick-walled, comfortable handles...

and best of all, really, honestly non-stick. When they arrived, I decided to give them the true test-rinsed one of the pans, dried it, put it on the gas stove and fried an egg in it-NO oil at all-and the egg slid

out when it was done. Have used them every day since I got them, my old pans went straight to a charity drop box. Cleanup is a snap. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, hoping they hold up as well as I think they will.

I was unfortunate enough to get this as a warranty replacement for my old KitchenAid immersion blender and this new model is worse than the old model in almost every way I can see.

The old model had nine continuously variable speeds. This one has three speeds and the highest does not seem as powerful as "9" on the old model.

This model comes with a 3-cup mixing cup. The old one held 4 cups. The cup's top also does not fit as snugly.

On the older model, you pressed a couple of buttons to release the attachments. On this one, the blender attachment twists on and the motor does not actually attach to the chopping cup at all. Instead, it just sits on top, which means you have to be careful you don't accidentally take it out while chopping. The old model also had a separate rubber base for the chopper. The new one has just a rubber o-ring on the bottom.

I'm sure all this was done as a way to get the price down, but we don't buy KitchenAid based on price, do we? We buy based on quality. They seem to have forgotten that with this immersion blender.

Sadly, the KitchenAid website no longer lists the old model. If you can, buy one of the older models while they are still on Amazon. I'm going to give this one away and do that myself.

I like the previous reviewer, I was unfortunate enough to get this as a warranty replacement. I had the Handheld Immersion Blender KitchenAid KHB100ER1. That was a work horse and I absolutely loved it!! I got this in the mail the other day as a replacement and decided to test it before sending off my other unit. I put it in the beans to make refried beans and the thing barely moved. Not only that, but the thing popped out of the blender attachment. It barely cut through the beans at the highest speed. I was so disappointed. I had such high hopes. I contacted kitchen aid immediately. I requested that my old hand held be fixed and sent back to me. Unfortunately you can only do that at your expense. They say this is an upgrade from the old hand immersion which had a motor based upon wattage. Which means you get so many revolutions per minute based upon the speed you selected. This unit is not based upon wattage but a D.C. motor, which isn't based upon revolutions per minute based upon the speed you select, but on what you are blending. So, if you are blending a salad dressing at the highest speed it will whip right through it but if you are blending a thick soup it will slow down the motor so it takes you longer to blend it. It will do it but it sounds like its going to stop any minute. I am not sure about other people but I'd rather not have the motor decide for me if it needs to slow the revolutions per minute down for me. I spend alot of time in the kitchen as it is, I want to cut my time in the kitchen so I can enjoy doing other activities. Disappointed? Yes, absolutely. It was wonderful for Kitchen Aid to send me this upgraded but somehow cut back model as a replacement for a superior model it discontinued. If you have never owned a Kitchen Aid hand immersion blender before you might not notice. I would recommend the other model KHB100 while they are still available.

Oh yes and the quality is not as good. It seems to be more plasticy and lightweight in comparison. It has a twist and lock method of connecting the attachments instead of a click and safety release button. The 3 Speed selector is more cheaply made. Even the blade looked smaller. Had I bought this for myself, I would have taken it right back to the store and got my money back.

Kitchen Aid offered the 5 Speed of the same Unit, at a cost of $50 Plus tax and shipping. For that money, I'll go buy the original unit I had ;-).

Best Deals for KitchenAid KHB2351CU KHB2351 3 Speed Hand Blender

I love pretty much all of the kitchen aid products, and this one is no exception. It is built well, and I like the extra-long shaft and extra speed on this model. I also really appreciate the bag it comes with, it is SO much better than just having the pieces lying around on the shelf.

I purchased this one over the next model down since there are a LOT of times that I really like my food processor . . . but only need a small amount. This is perfect for that, plus the booklet gives great suggestions on speeds to use. Obviously the mixing cup (which has a great lid, I use it a lot to make dips and I can store them right in the jar in the fridge) and food processor don't fit in the bag.

My only two complaints (and they are tiny ones, and not enough to take away stars) are that the top of the mixing shaft is plastic and the mixing jar is plastic. The whole mixing shaft is stainless except for the part that connects to the motor. I realize that plastic is really good, and the chrome on it is so good it is almost impossible to tell . . . but I just prefer metal. It is a personal preference more than anything. The plastic mixing cup is great and extremely high-quality, but you essentially have to just resign yourself to the fact that it will get scratched up on the inside as you use it. It doesn't change the usefulness in any way, but I would love it it was glass.

Honest reviews on KitchenAid KHB2351CU KHB2351 3 Speed Hand Blender

The basic design of this product is OK but is has one major flaw. The button to turn it on and off is way to hard to press and is fatiguing when using it. It has 3 speeds, lots of attachments and comes with a cool storage bag. If only the button was easier to push!

My husband and I love soups, and we had been making pureed soups by transferring small batches to our food processor. The system was always messing and lengthy, so we finally bought this immersion blender. Pureeing the entire pot of soup takes maybe a minute and a half, and there is no extra mess. The pieces clean up quickly, and the device hardly takes up any storage space. It's fun to use too. We love it.

I've been researching everything about yogurt for the past few weeks and after successfully making yogurt in my oven a couple times I decided I like making my own yogurt and it would be worth it for convenience sake to have a machine that made it as easy as possible. I think I've found the right machine here.

Pros:

1. After mixing in your starter, you simply pour in the 1 1/2 qt mix, set the time, and forget about it. After the fermentation time is over, the machine changes to cooling mode so you can really let it go unattended until you're ready to use your yogurt or transfer it to your ref.

2. The tub and lid are pretty much all that needs cleaned after use.

3. The controls are simple to use (for adjusting the fermentation time).

4. It is very quiet. You can hear a small noise while it is heating or cooling but that cycles on and off as the machine is heating or cooling.

5. The fermentation timer will set for up to 24 hrs at 1 hour intervals.

Cons:

1. You cannot control the temperature (if you want to do that). (Added edit: I just checked the temperature of yogurt that had been fermenting for 9 hours and it was 113 degrees.)

**Update: I decided to check the temperature at 2 hr intervals and here is what I discovered: I started with a cool mixture around 70 degrees. After 2 hrs in the yogurt maker it was 94 degrees. After 4 hrs 106 degrees, and after 6 hrs it was 110 degrees. At that point I decided to take the large clear plastic cover off to see if it would help keep the temp down. That seemed to work since after 8 hrs the temp was still at exactly 110 degrees. This is a little troubling to me as it seems to indicate the machine is not monitoring the temperature very well. I changed my rating to a 4 star because of this.

2. It only makes 1 1/2 qts at a time. 2 qts would have been nice, especially since straining the yogurt produces less yeild.

After using it some and experimenting with raw unpasteurized milk, organic pasteurized whole milk, and coconut milk, I can tell you that pasteurized whole milk makes the best yogurt in terms of smoothness and thickness. It is the most similar to premium store bought yogurt. Using Fage plain yogurt as a starter makes a very velvety creamy yogurt. If you are interested in using raw milk (and if you can get it!) be aware that it will be more runny (see my recipe below). You can use coffee filters to strain it and make very creamy Greek yogurt, but you'll loose more than half of it as liquid whey. It is very delicious though (and very healthy). Add some pure maple syrup and vanilla bean to make the most delicious yogurt you've ever tasted!

Don't want to use whole milk? Why not? If gaining weight is a concern, then I suggest going with whole milk. There have been studies showing that people gain more weight drinking 2% milk than whole milk. Healthy fats are not the terrible foods that we have been taught to believe. Eat healthy fats like coconut oil, olive oil, butter, avocado, and whole milk. Stay away from sugars, excessive carbs and diet drinks if you are serious about losing weight. Straining yogurt... most people like the thick creamy Greek yogurt and it is really easy to make. I have a yogurt cheese strainer (Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese Maker) that is so simple to use and makes great Greek yogurt. BUT it will not work with raw milk yogurt since the yogurt is thinner. You need to use coffee filters with raw milk yogurt. The Cuisipro strainer works great with yogurt made from pasteurized whole milk.

I'll post more later after I've used the machine some more.

(Added edit) I discovered that if the power goes out even for a moment the machine will discontinue whatever it was doing. You will need to start it back up and add the additional time to complete your yogurt.

Raw Milk Yogurt Recipe: (follow this to the T and it should turn out great)

Ingredients:

1 5.3 oz. container of plain Oikos yogurt (Greek yogurt is fine)

40 oz. (5 cups) Fresh raw milk (no more than 5 days old preferably)

Heat milk in large pan very gently to 110 degrees. Stir slowly almost the whole time to avoid letting the bottom layer of milk get too hot. Keep a quick-read digital thermometer handy to frequently check the temp of the milk. As it approaches 110 degrees slide the pan off the burner. You do not want the temp to get above 110 if you can help it. At 117 120 degrees you've killed the healthy bacteria.

Once the milk has reached temperature, stir in the Oikos yogurt slowly and thoroughly. It takes some effort to get it all blended into the milk. The goal is to keep the mixture as close to 110 degrees as possible during this time.

When it is all blended, pour it into the plastic tub and put the fitted plastic lid on the tub. Place it in your machine and DO NOT put the clear cover on. If you do the yogurt will get a little too hot.

Ferment for 7 hrs. (No more or you risk the whey separating from the curd and basically ruining the yogurt). Let it cool in the machine for a few hours and then carefully transfer it to the ref. for several hours. The trick is to not disturb the yogurt at all until it has reached a cool temp in the ref.

After it has thoroughly chilled, stir it up and strain it with a coffee filter overnight. Now you have delicious Greek style yogurt!

Any review on yogurt makers tends to elicit comments on whether it's worth buying a machine at all so, here's the breakdown on the pros and cons:

Machine vs. no machine you can make spectacular yogurt either way. You can use of variety of methods, including crock pots, slightly warmed ovens etc. If you use yogurt as a starter, most brands that have live cultures in them do just fine.

Greek yogurt you can get creamy, rich yogurt that's so thick that you can stand a spoon up in it, either with or with out a machine. The factors that will help you do so all take place outside of any machine process. They are: raising and holding the milk initially to a higher temperature (I do 200 degrees for 10 minutes using a Pyrex measuring cup and the microwave) using fuller fat milks (although 2 percent is almost as good as whole milk), and straining the finished yogurt. You can also use additives such as dried milk,if you don't mind the taste.

Temperature and time to ferment most electric yogurt makers seem to run at about 110 degrees and take about 6-8 hours. If you use a crock pot, oven or other method, it takes over 12 hours. Note: The Brod and Taylor bread proofer is the only one I've read about that allows you to vary the temperature, from 70-120 degrees. It is probably worth investigating if you are planning to make creme fraiche or kefir milk.

Advantages of the Cusinart

You can make batches of 50 oz., which is especially important if you are planning to make Greek yogurt, because the straining reduces the volume considerably. My sole reason for giving this machine a '4' star rating is that I think they should have made the more convenient 2 qt. size. I would have made the review a 4.5 if that was possible.

It has a small footprint, is quiet, and frees up your oven, crock pot etc.

Fast 6 hours.

Auto shutoff for the fermenting. (BTW, read the descriptions carefully for the inexpensive yogurt makers. I saw one review that indicated that some have a timer light, but don't actually shut the machine off. )

Chilling, chilling, chilling once the fermenting process is done, the machine automatically goes in to chilling mode. Depending on lifestyle, this is a big convenience. It's the only machine I've found that has auto shut-off and chill.

You can make wonderful yogurt at home so good luck with it! :)

I have had good results making homemade yogurt in my crockpot, but the process involves many steps. I wanted an easier method, so I looked into the Cuisinart Electronic Yogurt Maker. After reading other reviews before I bought the yogurt maker, I knew I would need to experiment and tweak the recipe. I was still willing to make the purchase. My first batch came out runny with an 8 hour cook time with whole milk. I then reread the directions more carefully. For my second batch I heated the whole milk first on the stovetop to 180 degrees, and it took approximately 45 min. to cool down to 115 degrees before I added my starter, and then I cooked the yogurt mixture for 8 hours. I was very happy with the results. It was not as thick as Greek yogurt but certainly not runny. The third batch I followed the same procedure as the second batch but used 2% milk. I could not tell the difference between the whole milk yogurt versus the 2% milk yogurt. I have not made yogurt in this machine with skim milk yet, but with experience using my crockpot method, you do get a lot of whey with skim milk. The recipe booklet says to use 4 cups of milk in this machine, but I am able to use 5 1/2 cups milk which I think people would like to know. For my starter, I use 1/2 cup plain Chopani Greek Yogurt. To make the yogurt thick like Greek yogurt, you can line a colander with coffee filters and pour in the yogurt and the whey will drip out. I am very happy with my yogurt machine.

I love it. I 've had for about a month every batch turns out great . we make yogurt every other day so pays for it self very quickly with 5 of us eating yogurt. Cleans up easy and it keeps it cool for 12 hours so no getting up in the middle of the night. Tried making it in crockpot but sometimes it would work and to much trouble with this you mix it in a bowl pour it in and push the button and then you have yogurt no checking temps and wrapping in towel . This is great and simple to use and makes great yogurt.

I bought this item many months ago because I liked the idea of it being a turn-key process. No more heating the milk, cooling the milk, and then incubating the yogurt. But so far, the texture of the yogurt has been a disappointment every time.

I've been making yogurt for over 20 years. I've used pots in the oven, a Thermos, and--most successfully--the Yogourmet incubator. I've never had batches that came out as runny as they do with this machine. I've tried skim, 1%, and 2%. I've used yogurt starter and plain yogurt as a starter. I've added powdered milk. I've experimented with everything from an 8-hour incubation up to 16 hours. The result is always the same: tasty, but runny.

If getting a successful batch means going back to heating and cooling the milk, I might as well go back to my Yogourmet. At least it works. This was a waste of money.

Our kitchen didn't have tall enough ceilings for a proper overhanging pot rack but we did have wall space for a wall pot rack. I was slightly afraid that this wall pot track wouldn't be able to handle the weight of many pots and pans but after installing it we've had no issues whatsoever. Installation was very easy. The price was unbeatable considering alternative wall pot racks could go up to the hundreds. I would definitely recommend this.

I have a teeny tiny apartment with limited storage in my kitchen. This rack was a lifesaver for I could hang it on the wall rather than suspended from the ceiling like other racks, which would have been impossible in my small kitchen. I didn't have a place for my pots and pans with my small cabinets so this item was the perfect solution. Now everything is nice and organized I'm a happy girl!

For the money, you can't beat this pot rack! It comes with plenty of hooks, something other pot racks sell separately. I was able to put it up in about 5 minutes. I made sure to use some good wall anchors just in case, but it's holding a full set of Calphalon pots and a 10" iron skillet without coming down. Simple, straight-forward, and very little space required!
