I prefer non-toxic cookware which is why I purchased this item.

I don't own a microwave, all of my cooking is done on an electric stovetop and an oven.

For cooking vegetables and items that don't stick really badly, the Visionware has been great.

I use this particular pot mainly to reheat a small amount of food, to boil water or to reheat tea. I also use it to melt butter in it, I just make sure that it has its glass lid on securely so that it will not splatter.

It cleans up nicely when you soak it and scrub it out with a plastic scrubber, if need be. I then place it in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.

I have used Visionware for about 22 years, including this pot.

I have never lost one of these pots.

The very important thing here is if you have chipped, cracked, or scratched cookware, it is recommended that you discard it.

I would recommend carefully checking your cookware before your first use and on occasion. Specifically, with this grab it pot, look at the bottom of the pot and look for the tiny expansion notches. You will want to make sure that there is no cracks radiating outward. I have purchased some used ones on eBay that I had to return due to that problem as I refused to use them in that condition, and I specifically asked the seller to make sure that their pot did not have this problem before shipping it to me.

You will also want to avoid scratching it with metal utensils.

However, there have been some complaints about exploding Visionware (Google is your friend) by those who claim they did nothing wrong,though I suspect that in many cases, there was a breach in the product the user was unaware of.

I believe that a significant number incidents can be attributed to thermal shock such as running cool water in a hot pot, placing the hotitem on a cool surface, or putting the cookware on a heat source with no water in it.

Why would anyone want to cook in a glass pot?!!!!! Got one as a gift years ago, put it on the gas with too little water in it, and it literally exploded into tiny shards that scattered all over me and the kitchen. I was fortunate not to have been scalded or injured by jagged glass chips. There was evidently not enough water in the pot to absorb the heat, and the glass expanded and shattered with a loud crack that scared the hell out of me! Do not use this line of "cookware" ! No serious cook would consider it. Google "Danger Vision Cookware", or "Exploding Vision Cookware"! You'll be afraid (and rightly so) to use this crap for anything more than to catch a drip from a leaky ceiling!

Another reviewer obviously did not read the product description in regards to this being a ceramic stoneware bowl made from clay rather than a bowl carved out of raw stone. While the shipping was very long to me it was worth the wait as this is the first reliable seller I've run across offering the product through a reputable online retailer.

The bowl is slightly smaller than what we get served at our local Korean restaurant(s); however, for my wife and I that is good as it means we serve ourselves more reasonable portions. The finish is very fine and after cooking and serving an entire bibimbop meal made from scratch at home I can attest they are easy to clean after a quick hot soak in water.

Because these are glazed and not raw stone there is no need to worry about seasoning or cleaning rituals associated with similar bowls made from raw stone.

The bowls stayed plenty hot for our meal and our rice was able to sizzle nicely.

In regards to packaging the bowls arrived both in one piece. Each bowl was wrapped carefully and separately from their bowl trays in both bubble wrap and paper and then tied with twine. Both were packed in a properly sized box as well, which was nice considering many items arrived loose in boxes with air bubbles from other merchants.

These would get 5 stars if the shipping time was quicker!

Dolsot bowls are really difficult to find, and these are a very nice quality. Still trying to figure them out though. Eventhough we heat them to 400 degrees and put in sesame oil, we have still not been able to get crunchy rice in our bibimbap. Oh well.....still trying.

I bought this for cooking bibimbaps and ramen. Works perfect. Smooth and easy to clean. The tray is stable. Color is rich. The size is perfect, you can mix the food and nothing will fall out. I use bamboo chopsticks/hashi for eating from it.

My husband purchased 4 large bowls and it was packaged very nicely like gifts and with all the cushions and support in it but unfortunately one of those was broken due to poor USPS shipping handling. We reported it and they immediately replaced it with a warm personal, handwritten note, apologizing what happened. Unluckily, USPS did it again! Even though the box was marked FRAGILE and with all cushions and support. We reported it rightaway that night and the next morning, one of the owners called and apologized for the very rare misfortune. She said that they will return the full refund of the broken bowl PLUS they'll ship us a free stone grill. Now that's what you call that an excellent costumer service! We received those two still with a personal handwritten note. I will definitely shop again at crazykoreanshopping. Cheers!

After enjoying Bibimbap at our local Korean restaurant (served in solid real stone bowls), I ordered these for my wife as a gift. I was disappointed to see that they are actually ceramic stoneware not solid real stone. I felt that the product name was deceiving, so I requested a return. CrazyKorean's customer service was excellent. They offered a full refund including the shipping cost. They also updated the product description to indicate that the bowls are stoneware ceramic to avoid this misunderstanding.

Put it in our RV, the nested design really saved space, but poor quality non-stick. I started to see damage from the start but it became unusable after only about 15 uses. It actually seemed to stick worse than a traditional non stick pan.

The handle doesn't work so great when tipping up the pans to plate up or pour, it became really annoying so I retired this set of pans for backup use only.

We used these on our camping trip. The pros were that they stack together nicely and the sizes of the pans are perfect for what we needed. But after one use the non stick finish came off even with using nylon utensils. They were used once and they look old and I couldn't even get that clean using a scrubby pad.

The removeable handle is black, so I can see that it may get lost but hoping it doesn't.

I cooked three meals with these pots & pans and used every single one of them with no issues. I even boiled 4 full size ears of corn in the big pot! They cleaned up easily, stored away easily and left no burn marks or peeling like others have mentioned in their reviews. I cooked on a Coleman stove, not over an open fire.

I would NOT recommend these for cooking over an open fire. You should probably get cast-iron pots if that's what you're into. I could totally see these not being thick enough not to melt or have paint bubbling issues over an open fire.

ON A SIDE NOTE:

Coleman is synonymous with camping in America, unfortunately almost everything they sell is made in China now. I purchased a lot of Coleman products through Amazon for my recent camping trip and was dissapointed to see that almost every item was "Made in China". Amazon should require the "Made in..." info in their listing of items.

I have had this set of cookware for about 6 years and had no problems with it.....I read one review that said the nostick coating was coming off.....I haven't had that problem yet!.....I do know that most camping stoves cook very hot and your pot may sit very close to the heat on some.......not sure but that reviewer may have used to much heat or the pot was a little to close to the heat sorce......Which can cause problems for even the best cookware!!.....I cook with my stove turmed way down and keep a close eye on whats cooking......Mine still looks almost new!.....Only thing I'm not crazy about is that the handle comes off and is used for all the pieces......doesn't feel sturdy when your taking something hot off of the stove......But saying that, the removable handle does make for easy storage since with it being off, all the pieces stack neatly inside of one another.....Just have to be a little careful with the hot stuff!......If something were to happen to mine I would buy them again with out thinking twice....I am actually about to buy a second set!!......Happy camping to all!!

I used this for the first time this week. I wanted something rustic, so I decided to braise turkey thighs with some root vegetables. Preparing the dinner was almost as good as the finished product.

Because of All-Clad's technology, I didn't have to turn the range above medium to sear. There was ample space for browing both turkey parts. Adding color to the veggies was a quick process. Deglazing was very easy because the bottom was so roomy.

From the oven came evenly done, tender and juicy turkey thighs. Clean up was easy. Wiped it out and put it in the dishwasher. Didn't even need to use any polish.

My next task for this pan is a frittata.

I have mixed feelings about this item. I had seen the stand displaying various sizes of Le Creuset at Williams Sonoma and felt I must have one especially because my Le Creuset collection, at least one piece of which we use almost every day, was taking up way too much room in my cupboard. Though pricey, I made the purchase online. Upon delivery, I excitedly opened the very heavy box only to discover two very important pieces of information NOT OFFERED IN THE DESCRIPTION: 1)the bars that appear to run along the outsides of the stand are not three long pieces, but rather, each bar is comprised of four small pieces held together by a rather ingenious but not exactly confidence inspiring method featuring pieces of threaded plastic that you have to hammer down into the small pieces of metal tubing, which, when assembled, give the illusion of being three, long, single pieces of cast iron. The tubing itself is not uniform in height, but rather of two different lengths. This means, the second shelf IS NOT TALL ENOUGH TO FIT ANYTHING LARGER THAN A VERY SMALL SAUCE POT--equivalent to 1-1.5 quarts, American. My second disappointment was in the stand's actual height. I hadn't really paid enough attention to dimensions when ordering, as I had the mental image of what I had seen at Williams Sonoma. To my great disappointment, I found a disclaimer included in the instructions informing me that most people and businesses will purchase TWO cast-iron cookware stands and put them together. I live in California--earthquakes R Us. Not only did I doubt that the plastic strips provided to anchor the unit to the wall were adequate, but if I did put two units together, it would likely be just tall enough that it would be dangerous to put cast iron cookware on it! Remember those little pieces of threaded plastic are all that is holding the piece together. NO, I would NEVER trust two put together, not in my home. (Williams Sonoma can deal with that potential problem, if it happens)! But one alone would fit in a playhouse! THIS WAS NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND AT ALL. Besides--purchase two? At this price? I was already splurging to purchase one! While, assembled, the stand is handsome, and the shelves ARE made of cast-iron (and say LE CREUSET, if that is what is important to you), I must admit that I felt a bit idiotic that my splurge wasn't turning out quite as I'd hoped. My sons and I had a good laugh when I likened the proportions of the completed stand to the set of 'Stonehenge' built for the big American tour in THIS IS SPINAL TAP--dancing midgets not included. (Please accept apologies for this very un-PC joke). I am keeping the stand--but had I known what I know now, I must be honest and inform you that I would NOT have purchased it. LIVE AND LEARN. I can't say enough good things about this rack.

Storage I use the bottom 4 shelves for pot storage, the top shelf for ramekins and a plant. If needed, smaller pots can be nestled inside the larger pots, I have 6 pots and a grill pan on mine. Makes it so convenient to retrieve.

Appearance black matte cast iron shelves, I have had mine for 5 years, looks like it did when it was new. This is a great way to display Le Creuset pots, the colors just pop.

It is very stable, I wasn't sure what to expect, but there have not been any problems, even made it through a California earthquake and remained upright. Although the description states the shelves are adjustable, it is very limited in that regard. The shelf depths are fixed by the length of the posts provided with the unit, what you can do is arrange so that the deep shelves are on either the top or the bottom. I recommend the deep shelves be on the bottom, as shown in the picture.

This piece is made with the quality you would expect from Le Creuset.

I have two stands/shelves for my Le Crueset dutch ovens which are the back bone of my cookware. This stand does not hold any of my ovens over 5 quarts. The other stand holds my 9, 6 and 5 quart dutch ovens and this one holds ovens that range between 2-5 quarts. It's solid, attractive and does look great with the small-medium cookware, but will not fit the larger sizes. Because we live in an earthquake area, the sturdiness is really important -heavy dutch ovens seem very safe on these shelves!

The support columns are some sort of black painted metal, not cast iron.

The support columns are held together by plastic components and headless bolts.

After assembling the stand, I lifted it up by holding onto the middle shelf, and what do you know, the columns lifted right off their plastic holders.

I am very disappointed in Le Creuset for selling this rickety thing. I love Le Creuset cookware and bakeware. I had no idea that they would dare to make such a shoddy structure and then sell it at a list price of over $400.

Included in the package is a plastic "wire-tie-esque" anchor for anchoring the shelf to a wall. But there's no screw for that included so you better have your own screw.

The cast iron shelves have some extra iron tips at the 90 degree corners, as if to say "This used to be a really sturdy shelf structure until we decided to cheapen it out and use sheet metal and plastic columns, but hey--we've already spent the money on the shelf molds that have these little tips for the old cast iron column support structure, so let's just keep making the shelves the same old way."

The cast iron shelves have a lip on the bottom. To prevent damage to your floor, you would want to install the bottom shelf upside down (i.e., turn the "Le Cruset" brand name to the floor).

Pay attention to the measurements. The shelves may be smaller and divider columns may be shorter than you would think.

I returned this item because in the product description, there was no mention of the plastic and non-cast-iron columns that are critical to the support structure. I wish I had read Paulina's review in more detail before I purchased this item in the first place.

From the picture this looks like a good egg separator: it has the little bendy part that should hook over whatever you are breaking your egg into, BUT it doesn't--hook. It falls off and your egg yoke is right there in with the white. I wish I'd gotten a different one.

I have upgraded my rating after using the pan every day for a month. I am giving it five stars because it is a tremendous value. I was too critical in my initial review.

This is my first Calphalon pan. I purchased it primarily to use as an egg and breakfast fare pan. I wanted a good non-stick pan, because most of my other pans are stainless steel.

I consider it a very good buy for the price. It has a very attractive design and the interior non-stick cooking surface appears to be very durable. However, the pan is slightly heavy and slow to reach the proper temperature compared to stainless steel. The manufacturer's enclosed brochure says the slow warm-up is due to the non-stick surface (true of most non-stick pans). Once it arrives at the required temperature, it performs very well. This aluminum pan is the equivalent of a permanently seasoned cast iron griddle. It produces foolproof omelets and the food never sticks. I use it to warmup chicken breasts and make grilled sandwiches too. It is the most used pan in the house, because of my passion for eggs.

This product, like a few other Calphalon products I have examined, slipped past the quality control inspector. On my pan there is an interior area, smaller than a grain of rice, that was not sprayed with the non-stick coating. It is high enough on the pan where no one will ever cook on that spot, but it is there in plain sight. The lack of quality control may have something to do with the Calphalon pans being manufactured in third world countries no offense intended. This pan is made in China. You would probably not have any trouble forgiving the stray blemish. Especially, when you consider this pan's beauty, functionality, and price.

Here is my list of PROS and CONS for this purchase.

PROS:

Good price.

Excellent non-stick surface appears to be very durable too.

Excellent stain resistant exterior.

Cool & comfortable handle.

Attractive appearance.

Lifetime warranty.

CONS:

Slow to warm up, because of the non-stick surface.

Fairly heavy pan you won't flip anything without a spatula think griddle.

Quality control at Calphalon could be better.

The handle is beautiful, but the finish on the handle and rivets are not as refined as some of the more expensive cookware brands. However, it has no impact on the cooking.

Conclusion: Excellent pan for the price.

I picked up this Commercial Nonstick skillet along with several other pieces of Calphalon's open stock collection, and I have been impressed with every piece I've gotten. This is great for burgers as well as omeletes and pancakes. About the only "problem" with it is that I'm not accustomed quite yet to the high quality found in Calphalon, and I didn't expect the burgers to brown on a non-stick surface as quickly as they did, so I wound up with two rather rare burgers as a result of fearing that I would burn them. Now that I see how Calphalon's nonstick line cooks, I have had more success, and now I have beautifully cooked hamburgers every time.

This is nonstick, so you do have to treat it with kid gloves, but as long as you use nylon or wooden utensils, do not overheat the pan, and don't run it through the dishwasher, this pan should last you a lifetime. I'm so glad I bought this, because I know that Calphalon's line of Collector's Edition products are only available for a limited time each year. I'm glad I didn't miss out on this beauty before it was gone forever!

The crepes cook quickly and evenly, so it is easy to prepare a lot of them for blintzes or crepes suzette. Also you can make buckwheat blinis or use it as a small griddle for silver dollar pancakes or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Since this pan has a beautiful stainless steel handle, it will stay cool to the touch. Calphalon recommends hand-washing of this pan. It will make a wonderful addition to your collection or a nice gift for a friend.

I have several Calphalon pots and pans that I've purchased over the years that have been just great. All of which were manufactured in Ohio.

This pan became useless after three months of gentle care using only nylon utensils made for non-stick pans. The non-stick coating on this pan lived up to its name. It does not stick to the pan's cooking surface, but instead peels off in big flakes.

This skillet, and two other Calphalon pans that I've purchased from Amazon in the last year were made in China, and are terrible as to quality, endurance, and finish. This skillet did a good job for a month or so, but then started slowly losing its non-stick surface.

The other two pans received from Amazon were of such poor quality right out of the box that I returned them the same day for a refund. No such luck with this pan.

The brand name Calphalon does not mean a quality product anymore if it was made in China.

I have some of the finest cookware and lots of it being a former chef, but this is by far the best little pan I have.

I use this one everyday. I can tell you that this pan is a little workhorse. Don't let the title fool you. This is more than a griddle/crepe pan. You can do Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Cornbread, Omelettes, Pancakes, Sausage & Peppers, Fry Pork Chops, Steaks: Any thing without a lot of sauce/gravy works perfectly. I've done stir fry, hamburgers, steak, hot dogs, everything -you name it. I reach for this pan time and time again. The clean-up is fabulous. Nothing sticks to it at all. You won't go wrong with this sweet little pan, if fact you'll be sorry you didn't buy two of them.

This is a very functional and well made pot. It works well with my induction cooktop, which was my biggest uncertainty prior to buying the pot. I really can't complain about this pot..... I mean, it's a metal pot with a divider in it for different soup broth. It's not exactly that complicated. I put the lid together in about two minutes and one of the two minutes was trying to find my screw driver. The only con I would say about this pot is that it could be slightly thicker but other than that it's a pretty decent pot for hot pot night.

This pot is very flimsy. They are poorly constructed, thin metal, and there are food particles stuck on the edges of the divider after lots of scrubbing and washing. Tamaya products have not worked out for us. We also own a Tamaya rice cooker, and it is also very bad quality because the rice will get watery and bad after just a few hours of sitting in the rice cooker on "warm" setting. I think other reviewers had different experiences based on who they purchased it from. I bought directly from Amazon, and the product was precisely as pictured. Yes, it's thin metal, but compared to the heavy, cast-iron Dutch Oven I was using on our induction tabletop unit, it heated up water much faster, which is what you want. The divider worked fine, as did the lid. It may warp or give after a while, but for this cost, I wouldn't object.

And, yes, despite a magnet only weakly sticking to it, it worked *just fine* on our induction unit.

I gave this to my son & his girlfriend as a present. It just fits perfectly over their stove between the fridge & the doorway and holds alot of pots. The only issue I had was that a weld broke during shipping and I had to find a welding shop to fix it before Christmas. Guess it could have been a welded a little better, on that side it looked more like it was tacked. I do like that the hooks weren't welded (like mine is) so you can put them wherever you please.

This pot rack was purchased for our new home. We liked the design and felt it would fit nicely with the exposed beams of our kitchen, however, it arrived with broken welds on one side of the frame, and the other side didn't look that sturdy. We may have dodged a bullet, as I'd rather have it arrive broken than to put the time and effort into hanging it, only to have it fail later and drop pots and pans all over the kitchen and counter tops. We're planning to return this item.

The item arrived with the spot welds broken and the oval split in two pieces. I attempted to hang the rack on supposition that the rack might be intended to balance anyway with the shelf inserted. However, it is completely unstable. I called the manufacturer, Old Dutch, in New Jersey and they do not expect replacement inventory for 7 or 8 months. Stay away from this product. I am returning to Amazon for refund, which is a pita.

We bought this product to organize our pots and pans so we could de-clutter our cabinets. We needed more hooks so we also bought the Enclume DRPHS-HS Decor Pot Hook, Set of 6, Hammered Steel. They work great also and are shaped differently than the S shaped hooks that come with the pot rack. It was easy to mount once we found the ceiling studs and is very sturdy.

When we unpacked this item, the weld points holding the brackets were broken in two places. Fortunately, we have a friend that has a welder, and was kind enough to redo the welds for us. Other than that, it is a great and handy product. It has freed up cupboard space for me to fill with other items, and the pots and pans are still at hand!

This product is an excellent investment for the quality of cooking you can achieve with the copper fusion Chantal has placed in the product. Yes, it cooks an excellent soup and chili, but my favorite is how the Indian Curry blends together in the pot.

I purchased Chantal copper fusion cookware for use on an induction cooktop. I have no complaints about the pots and pans, but there is clearly either a design flaw or manufacturing defect with the lids. I have read other reviews complaining that water gets between the glass lid and the metal ring. My problem s different: every single lid shows varying degrees of metal rust in the area that is under the glass portion.

I contacted the Chantal company customer service and submitted the photos they requested. Never heard back from them despite more emails that I sent.

I think at these prices they should be able to deliver a product that does not rust and most certainly should respond when they receive a customer inquiry. Very disappointed and will not recommend this cookware to anyone.

this little pan weights 10 and 3/8th of an oz. it has a built in heat defuser and has ceramic non stick coating inside and out. the dishing is pretty deep to. it holds 1 1/2 cups of liquid so it can also be used as a small bowl or plate. the non stick is very good too i was able to cook an egg with no oil and turn it with out burning and it did not stick to the pan. it also fits my primus eta solo stove perfectly, update 7/21/2013 have used this to cook hot dogs in, holds 2 jenny o jumbos no problem. also heats up hash browns just fine on the trail.

This little pan makes perfect eggs. I got this for my husband, as he's the one who cooks breakfast. I was looking non-stick for him to use, so he'd stop using my All Clad for eggs. I liked the look of the Pensofal, but there weren't any reviews on it, so I searched else where & found some reviews and looked at their official web site, too and saw the different lines, they have, including copper ones, which is my dream set. So, since they offered things higher end,I felt comfortable buying this little one and I'm glad I did. It is really easy to clean. The pan feels like it's sturdy and well crafted and studier and heavier than ones on Amazon w/good reviews (I had looked at some of the egg pans while out shopping) and they felt cheap to me. We will be buying more of this brand very soon. I really want one of their pasta pots.

Cute it is at 5 1/2 inches but the pan is an ugly dull avocado green, not the clear green you see in the illustration.

Worse yet, the handle is attached with a screw. The handle is likely to loosen over time when the pan is heated. Poor construction for an expensive non-stick pan.

Nice small ceramic pan.

Nonstick, though I don't have enough time with it to know for how long it lasts,

Italian made quality.

The heavy metal bottom disperses heat evenly.

Fantastic for not only eggs but any small item you're working with while preparing meals.

The short handle makes it take up little space, yet doesn't get too hot if you're careful.

Recommended.

Oh, and they come in many sizes, also recommended.
