Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10108 10 1/2 Inch x 1 3/4 Inch Square Grill Pan with Assist Handle

Excellent Grill Pan. Solid cast iron, but not too heavy. Ridges in the pan are sufficiently raised so that you get actual grill marks on the meat (as opposed to the minor bumps on the non-stick grill pans). Easy to clean. Perfect for two people. Makes great burgers, pork chops, grilled shrimp, steaks... Its been used at least twice a week since we bought it.

Produces excellent results for grilled veggies & meats. A little hard to clean.

This is really a great product. Cast Iron, if cared for, is just about the best cookware you can buy.

While my title says "indoor grilling", I guess you really are frying in a pan, on the stove. So sorry if that's misleading. If you use the pan right, however, you'll get great grill marks on your food.

How to use:

Drizzle a good olive oil, or canola, back and forth across the pan. Take a piece of paper towel and rub the oil all over, making sure the ridges and grooves, and sides of the pan are coated.

Heat the pan on the stove over medium to medium high heat. I don't recommend using on Electric because you cannot get the quick temperature changes you need. And certainly not for a glass or induction type range top.

While it's heating, lift the pan and swirl the oil around, keeping the pan bottom coated. When the oil just begins to smoke a little, the pan is ready. Cut the heat down a bit and put in your meat.

If you don't FILL the pan, you can leave an area empty. that area will stay hot, so when you flip your meat around, that part will still be hot enough to leave marks...

I find I can cook 2 strip steaks, or three hamburgers or pork chops in this pan at a time and get great results.

Cleaning:

Could not be easier. After the pan cools, gently scrape any large bits of residue out of the pan with a spatula or fork. Fill half way with water, and return to the stove top. Turn up the heat and boil.

Don't let it boil dry, just boil for about 5 minutes. When that's done, let it cool a bit so you can safely dump the water out. Then, take a sponge one with a 'safe for teflon' scrub pad works (the ones I buy are blue) with a little dish soap, and go over the inside of the pan. Rinse, dry over heat, and put it away.

You don't want to scour the pan. The oils bake INTO the surface of the iron, making a 'non stick' surface of their own.

If you see RUST, scrub the pan with the scrub sponge, then coat with canola oil, rub all over with paper towel you want a coating, not pools of oil and put into an oven. Heat oven to 300 and bake on for an hour or so.

This is a great grill pan!! I love using this pan when I want a steak or chop, when outside grilling is impossible. Since it's already seasoned, it not only gives great grill marks, but great flavor. Another great buy that's worth the price.

This is a nice pan. It's very heavy and the ridges are just right. I wish they also had one a little larger. This one is OK for two or three people since fits three boneless pork loin chops or two good sized strip steaks. You can get eight lamb rib chops (rack) in it, but they're a bit crowded.

Best Calphalon Small Nonstick Roast Rack Deals

Calphalon Small Nonstick Roast Rack
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

A sturdier, better designed rack would be hard to find. It sits comfortably in the roaster, offers large handles for ease in lifting even the heaviest roasts, and is non-stick! Unfortunately once it's out of its element, it's unwieldy. Cooking meat spatters, so almost every inch of this rack is covered with grease. The metal can scratch your sink. This isn't fun. My best advice is to find someplace where you can let it soak in hot, soapy water for a few minutes. Then use a nylon pad, and keep turning the rack to make sure you've got all the surfaces clean. It's easy to miss something when you're dealing with this sort of design. Let's face it, at this price, this rack is a bargain any way you look at it. Just expect to spend a little extra time and effort on the cleaning.

If you don't want to spring for a roasting pan, no problem the disposables do just as well. There is no question, however, that your bird needs a lift out of its own juices. There is no better way than with this rack. Large, sturdy and truly non stick, this rack will ensure even cooking by exposing all sides equally.

I've had this rack for over a year now and I've used it many, many times. It's a roasting necessity for a beautiful holiday turkey, everyday chicken, or fabulous sirloin roast (gives you uniform roasting by allowing heat to circulate around the meat and preventing the lower portion of your roast or bird from boiling in it's own juices at the bottom of the roasting pan). This particular rack is offered in a larger size, but when I bought it last year, this was the only choice available. I'm very happy with it -I've cooked a few 20+lb turkeys in it and don't see the need for the larger rack. Granted, my 22lb turkey did look like a size 18 woman in a pair of size 6 jeans, but it still worked quite well! I've never had a problem with clean-up that a little soaking in soapy water didn't fix. The rack doesn't look as lovely as the day I got it, but geez... it's been roasted a couple dozen times and it's still going strong. I highly recommend this rack.

Honest reviews on Calphalon Small Nonstick Roast Rack

This would be a wonderful addition to any cook's kitchen. It holds almost any size meat or poultry... large or small. It will probably fit most roasting pans, although the Calphalon pan is the easiest to clean up. The best part... all the fat drips off the meat while it's roasting. Other roasting racks that I've used only sit a half inch or less off the bottom of the pan and sometimes that's just not enough to keep the meat out of the drippings. If you can love a roasting rack... I do!

I went to Macy's and compared this twin pack to the sold separately 10 and 12 inch skillets; the skillets in the twin pack were much thinner and lighter.

This twin pack may be a good deal on its own, but know that you're getting light weight skillets.

The scam is that neither Anolon nor Amazon mentions the difference in design.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I have several Anolon Advanced pans and skillets and like them all very much. There is nothing 'wrong' with this set, but the pans are NOT as heavy as some of the other pans. I was initially disappointed by that since I really like the hefty feel of my other Anolon Advanced pans. That's why I'm giving it a "Almost Great" rating. I will say that the pans do seem to work just as well as the others I have. And the quality seems just as good. I DO wish, however, that it had been noted in the product write up that these pans are not the same thickness/weight as the others. So, if you are picky about things like that as I am, then this is your warning. If you don't care about weight or thickness, then I'd say you will love these pans. Again, the quality is there, the nonstick works great, and they are wonderful to work with. For those new to Anolon Advanced, be warned that you absolutely can NOT use high temps on any of the pans. Preheat your pans to a medium setting first and you'll have the best results. These pans DO hold temperature really well and will get very hot, even on a medium setting. Enjoy!

Best Deals for Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch Skillets

I've used Anolon Advanced for years and needed to replace 3 of my pans. I ordered them offline after reading the description which was described exactly as my original pans but alas, they're not. The 10" is almost 1/2 the weight of the original pan and I don't like the feel of the new non-stick pans.. it's very rough. I will return these and look to another line of cookware for the same weight pans that Anolon used to offer. What a shame, I loved my Anolon cookware!

Honest reviews on Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch Skillets

I bought these and the Anolon Advanced 8-Inch Open French Skillet, sold individually. They are nowhere near the quality of the 8-inch. They are lighter than the 8-inch (6 lbs total vs. 4.4 lbs). Also, unlike the 8-inch, the non-stick surface is gritty, like fine sandpaper. Returned the twin pack without using them and bought the Anolon Advanced 10-Inch Open French Skillet, sold individually. It's 4 lbs, and I assume the non-stick surface will be more like the 8-inch. Decided I didn't need the Anolon Advanced 12-Inch Open French Skillet, sold individually, which is 6.6 lbs.

I was delighted at the price of this item, as I had purchased the same brand years ago and had worked through the teflon on some of my saute pans. What arrived was not at all the same quality or heft of what I had before, even though the brand is exactly the same. This pan is still well made, but I don't get the same sense of confidence that it will heat evenly as I do with the older models of the same pan.

Best Imusa Casserole with Lid and Handle, 6.3 Inch Deals

Imusa Casserole with Lid and Handle, 6.3 Inch
Customer Ratings: 3 stars

This is a very small pan with two side handles and a lid. It is non-stick and is just the right size to fry one egg. I gave it as a stocking stuffer and the recipient just loved it and said it was really cute and useful. Go figure for just a couple of bucks!?

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I'm reviewing the one that's ~6.5" across and has only the one, skillet-style handle. It's very lightweight aluminum but the handle is also very lightweight stuff, so it doesn't tip due to lopsided weight issues like some others. I make 3 eggs almost every day in it. A little olive oil is what I like, but it has a very good nonstick surface and you could use it with a very light oil or spray coating as long as you keep the heat down, which medium heat is about the max you should cook eggs with, anyway. The lid fits well; it has to, to baste (steam) the eggs which is how I cook them: heat pan for about 30 seconds on med-low heat, add a little oil (1tsp ?) spread it around with a paper towel, let it get hot for about 30sec then break the eggs into the pan. With the pan already hot, the eggs instantly catch hold, and you'll have three evenly spaced eggs when you're done. Sprinkle with salt & pepper then Let them cook uncovered for 2min, then add about 2tsp of water evenly around the edge of the pan in a circle, and quickly put the lid on. Turn the heat to low -not miniscule, just low. Cook for another 1.5mins & remove from heat, and have your toast or whatever ready to go, because you need to plate them quickly as eggs will continue to cook in the hot pan after you turn off the fire. Remove from pan with a flexible plastic spatula, gently working it under the edges before tilting the pan contents onto your plate. This pan has a slanted edge so the eggs will just slide out once they're gently loosened -something few pans have and is very important IMO. Voila, beautiful over-easy style eggs without having to flip them -that's the beauty of basting. Occasionally there'll be a tiny bit of the water from steaming on them; blot it off if it bothers you but it's not really necessary. For one or two eggs just decrease the cooking time. Cleanup with a soapy sponge is so easy you almost don't deserve it, but be sure to let it cool first or you'll warp any pan that way. You never want to use high heat on a little light pan like this. A family member did, and the handle got too hot and cracked. I glued it and used it another year or so til it came apart now I'm beside myself for another, as Amazon is out of them. I love my egg-pan!!! And woe be to them in my home who use it for anything BUT eggs enforce this rule, and don't go over medium heat, and you'll have a really great egg-pan.

edit 7-24-12 They've started making this pan a little differently. I got my new one, same mfr and name of the product, at Walmart which is where I got the original one, too. The interior non-stick is that diamond-ey-looking stuff now, which seems to work ok, but the sides are a tiny bit steeper and the slanted edge narrower, which defeats what I liked most about my original one. Still a very good egg-pan, I just wish manufacturers would leave things alone that already work great; if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Best Deals for Imusa Casserole with Lid and Handle, 6.3 Inch

The item I received looks NOTHING like what is in the advertised picture above. What I received is a small frying pan (the size is accurate) that has NO rounded handles like in the picture, but rather one typical frying pan handle (that sticks out). In addition, the pan and its cover are a very ugly pea green...not attractive at all. It looks and feels so cheap that I'm almost afraid to use it! Not sure what to do with it!

Years ago I received this type of pan and loved it because it was perfect for eggs. So I was happy to find it here. Best Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner Deals

Camp Chef CSC-8 6-Ounce Bottle of Cast-Iron Conditioner
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars
Buy Now
This conditioner is better than Crisco or any other shortening or oil because it won't go rancid like other oils can. If you don't use your Dutch oven or other cast iron all winter and it just sits somewhere, chances are good that it will be rancid come spring and you'll have to strip and re-season it. That won't happen with this conditioner.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

This was a little disappointing, but what could I really expect? Seasoning takes years (or at least a lot of time and smoke in your oven). I was trying to avoid that with this coating. It works OK, as a light coating after you wash your pan. But, truly, I used to rub olive oil on my hot pan, just bring it to a smoke, turn off the heat and let it sit until I used it the next time, and I think that method worked better. I'll use up the cream, but I wouldn't order it again.

Best Deals for Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner

Mix of a few oils, I forget which (I think sunflower seed is one of them). Consistency is a bit thinner than peanut butter in a 68 F house. Doesn't pour out like lotion, but I was able to squeeze it out OK. Others have apparently had a more difficult time.

Used it on my new Camp Chef cast iron griddle. Heat the pan at 200F for about 10 minutes to get a dry surface and to open the iron's pores. Put a light coating on so that it glistens. Wipe it down with a dry cloth until the pan looks dry. Bake at 400F for 1 hour. Let cool in the oven for another 2 hours.

Goes in looking grey. Comes out looking black, just like the muffin pan that someone posted in the photo section. Griddle looks 10X better than new. I stopped with just the one coat, since the pan was already pre-seasoned.

Just note that you want to bring the oil (this or any other one you use) above its smoke point. This causes the polymerization process that creates the non-stick seasoning. Yes, the smoke by-product does contain carcinogens.

Flaxseed oil is supposedly the best oil to season a pan with. This worked pretty good, though, was easier to find, was a lot cheaper (7 at sportsmans warehouse), and doesn't require refrigeration.

UPDATE: The ingredients listed, in order, are: Organic Palm Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Citric Acid

Honest reviews on Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner

I was looking for an easy way to keep my iron skillet conditioned as we have several cooks in the house and many people use it. I ask each one to simply clean the skillet and leave on top of the stove so I can condition it before putting it away. It is always ready for use and works as well as seasoning it in the oven!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner

We have been using Cast iron for many years and have some great old pieces from various trips.

Everyone has a different tip or trick to seasoning cast iron, for many years bacon grease was the "hot product" what a mess!

Many of my cast iron finds need some TLC, a little rust or extra build it can hide the true inner beauty of the cast iron, I have some Griswold, Lodge, and Camp Chef Skillets and Dutch ovens that are super old but look better than new.

THIS stuff is great, I use a couple of different tricks for rust, like hay alfalfa and coke, but to put that nice BLACK finish, the cast iron conditioner does the trick, it lasts twice as long as regular oil and doesn't leave any lasting after taste.

Remember you still have to take care of your cast iron and heat it to dry it but this is the easy way to keep it nice and black for a lifetime of great uses.

Someone posted cheaper at walmart, funny at the time of this review walmart was $4 more and ship to store... FYI

I cook a lot, private chef. Bought this for myself, great for asparagus & perfect for pasta. Basket webbing is small enough so I can steam smaller items, basket hook a good feature. Added plus, it does not take up a lot of storage space. Liked it so much that I got one for my daughter. I recommend it.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Beware, this pot is made in Indonesia, not Belgium like other Demeyere products. The pot arrived severely defective, there was a HOLE in the bottom edge, daylight shows through! The metal is thin and was machined too closely. Very light weight, not substantial like a true Demeyere pot. The quality and styling is not the same as that found in the authentic Demeyere pot I ordered at the same time from Amazon. The advertising copy on Amazon does not say where the product is manufuctured which is misleading to the consumer. The packaging identifies the pot as a Resto by Demeyere. This is not a Demeyere pot.

It is troubling that Amazon does not offer free return shipping for such a blatently defective product with misleading advertising copy.

I've got this pot on GoldBox deal and recently started cooking with it. I really like it. It's very narrow so it would fit on a smallest burner of my glass cooktop. It has a perfect flat bottom a must for glass cooktop. The insert made from mesh not wires, so nothing falls thru the walls. I cooked asparagus and it was just perfect. You can put pasta, vegies etc into the basket and it is very easy removable. The little hook let's you get the basket higher away from watter on the bottom and dry it. I believe you can do deep frying in this pot I've just never tried it yet. Anyway if you on a market for this kind of cookware you should consider this pot.

Honest reviews on Demeyere Resto 4.7-Quart Asparagus/Pasta Cooker, Silver

On balance this is a good product. It is well made and does the job. I wish it were two inches deeper though. The normal length of the long pastas such as linguini are just about 1 1/2 inches longer than the depth of the pot so you have to keep stirring it until the pasta softens and sinks completely. If you don't, you end up with a short end of the pasta not cooked sufficiently when the rest of it is.

Having said that I still think it is a very good piece of cookware and I use it frequently for various boiling tasks.

I bought this pot to replace another pot I used for pasta it required a ton of water to fill the basket and took forever to come to a boil. This pot is awesome! I'm sure it does a great job on asparagus, but I use it solely for pasta. It requires less water since the basket goes to the bottom of the pot and can hold a TON of pasta. It does a great job, and I find it to be the best I have used.

If you are into stainless, you really can't go wrong with this one. The three settings work great, it cranks out a lot of pepper with each twist, it is attractive, sturdy, and easy to fill and operate. There really isn't anything else I could ask for.

Update 1/21/2009 It broke after 2 years. If I could change my rating, I'd give it 2 stars instead of 5. I know I can't expect everything to last forever, but 2 years? I expected more from a $30 pepper mill. To its credit, it worked perfectly until it died.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

This mill offers an easy and consistant grind. It has three settings of courseness, and the fine setting actually "fine", unlike some other W&B pepper mills. It's a little hard to fill because a non-removable cross section in the body, but that really my only complaint. I've only had it for a few weeks, so hopefully it continues to give a consistant grind in the future.

Best Deals for William Bounds High Output Mechanism 8 in. Pro High Output Pepper

I'm just retiring mine after about 8 years of service. It was a gift and is exactly like this model, except it has a wooden body (referred to as "Espresso & Stainless Steel" on the William Bounds site).

The Good:

I really liked the grind select ring which allows you to adjust between the 3 grind sizes without having to fiddle with a screw on the bottom of the mill. (Caveat see below)

Maintains consistent grind size.

The Bad:

It's a bit hard to fill due to two perpendicular crossbars across the top, through which you must pour the peppercorns.

Doesn't output very much pepper per turn. It is very tedious to grind out a couple of tablespoons worth of pepper for recipes or rubs.

Questionable longevity I gave one to my mother-in-law as a gift. Less than two years later she's having trouble with the selection ring. Mine took longer to start giving me trouble, but after about 4-5 years I, too, started having some trouble with the ring. The output is almost completely unaffected by the selection on the ring. The upshot is that I have to fiddle with the screw on the bottom after all! The ceramic milling mechanism has a lifetime warranty, but I'm not sure about the ring. In any case, I don't have a receipt because this was a gift.

The Conclusion:

After about 8 years, I'm left with the impression that this is a good mill, but that the quality is over-hyped.

I've just replaced it with the Unicorn Magnum Plus Pepper Mill 9-in. It is the top-recommended mill by Cooks Illustrated and is Alton Brown's choice as well. I don't find it as aesthetically pleasing, and I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts, but I've been very impressed with it so far. I can tell you this: right out of the box the Unicorn is doing a much better job delivering very coarsely ground pepper (cracked pepper) than the William Bounds ever did.

Honest reviews on William Bounds High Output Mechanism 8 in. Pro High Output Pepper

As a chef, I count on my equipment to come through and I have used these peppermills for years and they never let me down. It doesn't matter if I am doing some in-home catering, serving hundreds at a party, or even covering an extra shift at the restaurant; the first things I pack are my knives and my peppermill. The grind adjustments for coarse, medium, and fine are quick and precise. They work every time and deliver consistent grind quality and quantity. It is refreshing to find such a quality piece of kitchen essentials that delivers on all promises. They don't put lifetime warranties on these lightly, and I have never had to take them up on that. Please do yourself a favor and get a functional, important piece of equipment and you will know why I give these out for Christmas to my friends.

On the surface this pepper mill had it all... nice sturdy look, large capacity, and an easily selectable grind size. I'll say up front that we cook a lot, so the mill got pretty heavy use. It worked great for about a year, then the plastic parts cleverly hidden beneath the metal top began to disinegrate. It still works, but I'm not sure for how long... and some of what I think is pepper on my eggs may be ground up black plastic. Seriously though, I'm changing brands.

This is a very functional and well made pot. It works well with my induction cooktop, which was my biggest uncertainty prior to buying the pot. Yes it's thin steel, but all induction style hot pots I've seen seem to be constructed that way. For its purpose, I think it's a great product and an excellent value.

I really can't complain about this pot..... I mean, it's a metal pot with a divider in it for different soup broth. It's not exactly that complicated. I put the lid together in about two minutes and one of the two minutes was trying to find my screw driver. The only con I would say about this pot is that it could be slightly thicker but other than that it's a pretty decent pot for hot pot night.

Works as it is supposed to and love my pot! Had a hot pot session last week and am so happy with my purchase. We dont get a lot of good Chinese food here so this will be used at least once a month, works well with a camping stove on my table.

Honest reviews on Tayama Hot Pot

This pot is very flimsy. They are poorly constructed, thin metal, and there are food particles stuck on the edges of the divider after lots of scrubbing and washing. Tamaya products have not worked out for us. We also own a Tamaya rice cooker, and it is also very bad quality because the rice will get watery and bad after just a few hours of sitting in the rice cooker on "warm" setting. I will avoid all Tamaya products after having bad luck with these 2 Tamaya items.

I think other reviewers had different experiences based on who they purchased it from. I bought directly from Amazon, and the product was precisely as pictured. Yes, it's thin metal, but compared to the heavy, cast-iron Dutch Oven I was using on our induction tabletop unit, it heated up water much faster, which is what you want. The divider worked fine, as did the lid. It may warp or give after a while, but for this cost, I wouldn't object.

And, yes, despite a magnet only weakly sticking to it, it worked *just fine* on our induction unit.

I am a self avowed pressure cooker junky. I have about 7 various brands and sizes and I have to say that with this combo of 4 and 8 qt models I'll probably never use any of my other ones again. They are built so well... They reminded me of Iron Clad. Plus they are so much quieter than my older style ones. I wish I had spent the money sooner. And, they are full 15 pounders, not the usual 12 lb ones I've had in the past... Big difference.

All I can say is spend the bucks and get the last ones you'll ever want to own.

I've had my 8 qt and 4 qt set for two years, replacing an old Presto aluminum cooker and use it all the time. The 4 qt pot is great for making rice, risotto and other grain recipes. I use the steamer insert in the 8 qt to make (I kid you not) meatloaf and mashed potatoes in 15 minutes. If you are new to pressure cooking you can't go wrong with this set and Lorna Sass' book Pressure Perfect: Two Hour Taste in Twenty Minutes Using Your Pressure Cooker (source of the meatloaf recipes).

If you are used to the jiggle-top pressure cookers, you will notice that there's a valve at the top of this one with some steam coming out and a button that raises to let you know it is on high pressure. It is much quieter than the jiggle top style. I love that it is stainless steel, too. Besides being easier to keep clean, it's much better for cooking any tomato-based sauces, curries, etc.

If you are new to pressure cooking, you will particularly like having this in the summer when you don't want to run the oven. Rice is done with 3 minutes on high pressure and an additional 7 minutes off the stove.

I immediately fell in love with this set as soon as I opened the box. It is shining stainless steel, very thick and solid. I have used pressure cooker for 15 years. While my old aluminum one is wearing out and I broke another stainless steel one's handle, I have been looking for a new pressure cooker for 2 years. I have searched many local stores. Most are aluminum, some are hard anodized. They tend to wear out quickly. I was set to get a stainless steel one. Finally I bought this stainless steel set from . Most pressure cookers are deep, good for stew and for cooking meat. This set comes with a 4-quart shallow pot which I could easily think of many things I could do with, like rice, stir fry, pancake,....... And it is easy to clean!

Today I cooked rice, it took only 8 minutes, Rice tastes much better than those made without using pressure cooker.

I would give it a 5 star, but the manual is a little confusing. if you haven't ever used pressure cooker before, it'll be hard for you to make certain what the signs on the safety valves exactly mean and when to use. Figure 8 and 9 are particularly confusing and IMO not accurate. I had to use some deduction, along with my past experience to eventually figure it out.

Honest reviews on Fagor Splendid 2-in-1 Multi Pressure Cooker 5 Piece Set

Well,

I have used Pressure cookers all my adult live and love them. When it was time to get a new set, I grabbed the opportunity at the special price trough Amazon. Don't get me wrong, the pots are good quality, just on mine, the "PRESSURE VALVE" is not working. With other words it is NOT releasing steam unless manually tempered with. I do cook with the pots and the food comes out very good, especially like to cook pork and beef BBQ ribs :)

I just have to stick close and ones in a while notch the PRESSURE VALVE and it will release the excess steam/pressure.

I e-mailed customer service at Fagor and told them about the problem, but no response what so ever.

This is a great pressure cooker set. This set is different from the Fagor Duo set that comes with two pressure settings. We do not need different pressure settings, so the set is perfect for us. The 8-qt one is big enough for a family of four. The set is beautiful in 18/10 stainless steel. I love them. I have cooked several meals in it without any problem. I highly recommend this pressure cooker set.

I purchased this 12-inch Saute, the 8-inch Saute and the 3 Qt Saucepan from the Kitchen Classics cookware line. After doing extensive research online and in-stores, I decided to try my luck with these pans. I am amazed with the look, feel and performance of these products and at these prices!

The saute pans feel "heavy" for their size, but not in a bad way at all. They are very thick-walled aluminum and stainless steel construction, which helps evenly distribute and control the heat so my food doesn't burn.

I can tell that the Teflon nonstick coating is very durable and has been extremely effective every time I've used it. No need for any spray at all, so my cooking is healthier too.

I love the feel of the handles they have a bit of a rubberized grip, but with a soft touch. The rivets are very strong and high-quality, one of the features I really wanted in my new cookware.

What sets this cookware apart from competitors of similar quality is the PRICE. There is no way I could buy a national brand piece like this 12-inch saute pan at this price, AND get all the features and quality that are important to me. I plan to purchase the rest of the items in this line to complete my new cookware set!

I have owned one of these for the past 15 years and it's still strong. The handle is convent if your a soup lover as you can eat straight out of the cooker. I have cooked ramen, steamed vegetables, made sauce, I even use this with ravioli and it works beautifully each time. The cover works like a steamer so your soups actually cook/reheat faster, the holes are also a nice strainer. It's easy to clean and convenient if you have kids because it's extremely easy to use and the plastic doesn't get really hot so it's easy to use for making themselves lunch or an afternoon snack. The best thing is the cover stops the microwave from being cover in stuff if the stuff start boiling. You can find some great recipes for this on the website .

GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS!

This little cooker is well worth the price. Fresh or frozen vegetables steam very quickly in the microwave, the water drains off safely, and it's light to store and handle. I've used mine for years and other than a few scratches from metal implements, it's in excellent condition. The lid locks into place like brand-new.

I bought this several months ago after a friend of mine raved about it. I LOVE IT. My husband and I try to eat vegetables every night and I generally just put a small amount of water in this thing, throw some vegetables in (I usually do frozen since they keep longer), put it in the microwave for 4-5 minutes and VOILA! Perfect veggies :) I haven't cooked much else in it, but I know it's doable.

This a great little pot for reheating non-greasy foods. Hot grease breaks the plastic down and makes it usable. Had to throw the pot away. Now looking for another one.
