This teakettle is the perfect size. I measured about 8 eight ounce cups of water in it, so it could offer enough hot water for 4 or 5 cups of tea. It is smaller than the usual teakettles, which looked monstrous to me. I really enjoy seeing my little teakettle on the stove. It's attractive and doesn't take up too much space. The bottom measures about 6 inches across.

This is really a good bag of stuff if you like to cook with your kids. I gave this to my son for his 5th b-day, as a "just between you and me" gift (we cook a lot together), and he was so excited. After a quick soapy wash, we rolled out pizza dough with the rolling pin, and he enjoyed every minute! Also bought a kid-sized red chef's apron and wrote Chef in Training with his name on the pocket!!

This little set is so cute and my daughter loves it! The cooking utensils are well made and just the right size for little kids. However, the bag that holds them is a piece of junk. Both of the handles on ours ripped off fairly quickly so now it is just a bag with a zipper and no handles it still works but it is too bad that the bag couldn't be as sturdy as the utensils. I still would recommend it for the toys but would find another container to put them in.

"SANTA" brought this to my 3 girls for Christmas. Ages 6, 5 and 2. 6 and 5 year old Love these. 2 year old plays with whatever measurers we are not going to use. Which helps me out alot. They are the perfect sizes for children. They also do not fall apart like alot of stuff you buy kid size. We have made cakes, brownies, muffins, cookies, cupcakes and frostings and they are still perfect. Look forward to alot more baking with this great item. And I love the lil bag it all comes in. Both the 6 and 8 quart stockpots are must haves for your All Clad cookware collection. The 6 is great for sauce, a pound of lasagna or rigatoni, soup or stew and the 8 quart is a must have for my favorite meatballs that I cook in my sauce with sausage and steak. At first I didn't think I would need both but now that I do I can imagine doing all the Italian cooking that I do with out them. I can get my sauce and meatballs cooking in the 8 quart and start boiling lasagna noodles in the 6 quart. I love them both.

These pans are made very well, heat evenly, are very easy to clean and are designed to last. All Clad cookware is one of the most expensive lines around and it is worth every penny, it really is lifetime cookware (backed by a lifetime warranty). This pan is a definite must have. Nothing tastes better on a blustery winter's day than a steaming bowl of homemade soup or stew. And, nothing is better to prepare it in than this All-Clad Stockpot.

It seems that a stockpot is one kitchen item that never wears out, so I'd been making do with what we had. But, when I was fortunate enough to be gifted with this stockpot from All-Clad I couldn't believe the difference!

It has a thick conductive base that spreads the heat evenly, not just where the burner might hit it. And, it has solid stainless steel walls that keep the heat in. The lid fits snugly, and it simmers away for hours emitting the most delicious aromas.

I got this pot to replace an old 5 quart teflon lined aluminum pot of similar shape but with plastic handles, which kept it from the oven without extraordinary measures. The old pot simply did not heat up very quickly or evenly and it's dark interior made it more difficult to see what was going on with braises or pasta cooking.

So, I was often lugging out my 8 quart Le Creuset dutch oven when the smaller lighter pot would be the perfect size, but for the plastic handles.

I have used it a few times since receiving it, and it meets every expectation, even outperforming a similarly sized 5 quart Calphalon pan which was my old favorite when I bunked with a gas range.

This is an incredibly uselfu size and shape, and worth the cost if you cook a lot.

Highly recommended.

We use the 6-qt pot for everything. In fact I wish I had gotten it before anything else. If I were starting out equipping a kitchen from scratch again, I would start here instead of the 12" frying pan I got first. It keeps the mess in the pot better than a frying pan. This can fry a steak, brown it perfectly, then go into the oven to finish. Perfect for braises. Perfect for soup from scratch. A couple times we challenged it's capacity but I like its low walls, so maybe we'll get the 8-qt next. Lighter than a Dutch oven, cooks evenly, browns without burning. It's the pot that's always on the stove.

We have had the 10" griddle for 2 weeks. My husband uses it almost every morning. How do I clean it? Rinse it out with a little dish soap! This is the best piece of non-stick cookware I have ever owned. It is so much better than the old Teflon, and easier on the environment.

07-24-09: Here's an update, Gang. We have two of these now, and they are still going strong. Do not put these in the dishwasher. My son made that mistake, and ruined his little griddle.

04-15-10: Another update. We still use these almost every day. The surfaces are still great.

09-10-11: RIP Little Griddle. After about a thousand uses, the thing finally developed a rough spot. My son told me it's because I washed it while it was still hot. So, won't make that mistake again.

My reason for purchasing this plan was as to replace a so-called green-pan sold by a "celebrity" chef from one of the shipping networks that ended up being a piece of junk. I cook primarily cook with stainless steel but wanted one or two non-stick pieces for cooking items like eggs, pancakes, and the occasional crepe. I purchased this griddle/crepe pan first and really felt like it was a good decision.

I have read some reviews regarding complaints about the nonstick wearing off on the GreenGourmet pans. I think the problem is a few issues:

1. Users are using too high heat with these pans.

2. I would recommend hand washing these pans only.

3. Do not let food or oils dry in this pan. Its best to wash immediately after the pan has cooled.

So after several months of learning how to use the pan and cooking with it I went ahead and purchased the 10-inch skillet. I think these pans should have a good life cycle but using them with care is key...this is not stainless steel.

We bought a full set of these, and we are not thrilled with the results. The surface becomes impossible to clean if you ever use oil to cook the food. I understand not using cooking spray (which we haven't), but sometimes you need to cook with oil for flavor and texture. I agree with the commenter who complained about the warranty we called the company and when we found out the cost to get the pans replaced, we decided it would be better to buy new ones NOT very "green" or functional.

Initial Internet posting were wrong about these green ceramic pans.

The glazed-like surface can be heated quite hot to brown (even blacken) steaks and toasted cheese sandwiches. The hard annodized surface heats way more evenly than cast iron.

I also love the Analon Allure series which has a hard "marble" glaze surface on the exterior but a Teflon derivative inside. Since unsealed hard anodized aluminum stains over time, the ideal pan would have the Cuisinart ceramic interior and the Allure marble finish outside. Until then, this is my primary cooking pan.

I got mine after it was marked down $10 and then used a 20% off coupon. This skillet works great with a common 10" high dome lids, unlike the non-standard sized 10 1/2" cast iron skillets.

***** I bought this pan as my "try me pan" at Bed,Bath & Beyond. I was so impressed with it after 6 months I bought the 12 in fry.

Friends also have bought them now and really give them a workout in the oven at very high temps. We all love them.

I have seen some very high end companies now using this coating, which Cuisinart has the patent on, called Ceramica.

Just remember it's a nano ceramic coating so you can chip it,like Le Creuset cast iron enamel, if not careful.

Should last a liftime with proper care.

Another reviewer obviously did not read the product description in regards to this being a ceramic stoneware bowl made from clay rather than a bowl carved out of raw stone. While the shipping was very long to me it was worth the wait as this is the first reliable seller I've run across offering the product through a reputable online retailer.

The bowl is slightly smaller than what we get served at our local Korean restaurant(s); however, for my wife and I that is good as it means we serve ourselves more reasonable portions. The finish is very fine and after cooking and serving an entire bibimbop meal made from scratch at home I can attest they are easy to clean after a quick hot soak in water.

Because these are glazed and not raw stone there is no need to worry about seasoning or cleaning rituals associated with similar bowls made from raw stone.

The bowls stayed plenty hot for our meal and our rice was able to sizzle nicely.

In regards to packaging the bowls arrived both in one piece. Each bowl was wrapped carefully and separately from their bowl trays in both bubble wrap and paper and then tied with twine. Both were packed in a properly sized box as well, which was nice considering many items arrived loose in boxes with air bubbles from other merchants.

These would get 5 stars if the shipping time was quicker!

Dolsot bowls are really difficult to find, and these are a very nice quality. Still trying to figure them out though. Eventhough we heat them to 400 degrees and put in sesame oil, we have still not been able to get crunchy rice in our bibimbap. Oh well.....still trying.

My husband purchased 4 large bowls and it was packaged very nicely like gifts and with all the cushions and support in it but unfortunately one of those was broken due to poor USPS shipping handling. Even though the box was marked FRAGILE and with all cushions and support. We reported it rightaway that night and the next morning, one of the owners called and apologized for the very rare misfortune. She said that they will return the full refund of the broken bowl PLUS they'll ship us a free stone grill. Now that's what you call that an excellent costumer service! After enjoying Bibimbap at our local Korean restaurant (served in solid real stone bowls), I ordered these for my wife as a gift. I was disappointed to see that they are actually ceramic stoneware not solid real stone. I felt that the product name was deceiving, so I requested a return. CrazyKorean's customer service was excellent. They offered a full refund including the shipping cost. They also updated the product description to indicate that the bowls are stoneware ceramic to avoid this misunderstanding.

I loved the pan itself, because I think Staub is a great product. But I hadn't stopped to calculate how small a 4 ounce pan really is. It's teeny tiny. So I did send it back for size but please know that you can't go wrong with the Staub product line. It's probably one of the best. Giving it 5 stars based on quality, not size.

This woodblock is exactly as advertised. It is made of beautifully crafted bamboo provides an elegant touch to my kitchen. Even better, I now have all my knives at my finger tips.

Despite the write up you need to know these are NOT pre-seasoned. They arrived with a sticky wax coating on them (probably from the mould used to create them) that when heated off became a sticky, noxious smelling mess I suggest you do this out doors on your gas grill like I did. Because they were needed for an event I had no time to reorder or send back, so I had to season them myself, plus the shipping on 40 lbs (I bought 2) would have been ridiculous.

In addition the name TEXsport indicated to me they were made in TEXAS don't be fooled! Read the WHOLE write up they are made in China. Had I known that I would have spent the extra money for the Lodge brand ones that ARE pre-seasoned and ARE made in America. That's what I recommend.

The dutch oven was the perfect size I needed and the price was great. Took a while to season it, but once seasoned performed flawlessly. I've been in the process of switching from plastic to glass storage containers because of the health risks associated with plastic. Last winter I purchased two sets of cheaper glass containers at a discount store, thinking they would be fine for freezer and microwave use. All of them have chipped along the edges and the plastic tops are cracking.

These are very well made and the lids fit securely. The containers have a thicker edge around the top and they are a nice weight without being too heavy. Definitely worth every penny.

This is the perfect container to replace your old plastic ones. I never found anywhere where it stated exactly what size these were. So anyone who is looking they are 2 cup, 5 cup and 11 cups. They rectangular set comes smaller. The lids have 2 clips on either side so make sure you lock evenly. Over all great product. Don't hesitate with this one.

Pros: Durable, tight seals, no plastic, silicone lids, freezer and microwave safe.

Cons: Price, weight, mostly unstackable so hard to store lots of them.

What I mean about unstackable is that although these three particular sizes do fit inside each other, if you buy a whole lot of them the same or similar sizes, they will not fit inside one another at all.

Overall, however, we are grateful to be rid of our BPA plastics and are using these new ones all the time for food storage. We thought Kinetic GlassLocks were a better choice than the Pyrex glass containers because of the tighter seal of these lids (very, very secure seal) and the Pyrex lids were still plastic (not silicone), last time we checked.

I picked up two of the 3-container rectangular sets and love them! The 3-dish sets nest nicely in my cabinet, and were packed well and compactly. It's clear from handling the dishes and lids that these are quality products, not el cheapo imitations or knock-offs.

Another nice feature is that the company stands behind its products. One of my sets arrived with a lid's tab snapped off, so I called the phone number in Iowa that's printed right on the packaging. The phone was promptly answered by an Iowan (as I later found out) who quickly helped me figure out what size new lid I needed and arranged to have it promptly shipped to me at no cost.

These are awesome containers that do well in my dishwasher (unlike the cheap plastic ones which ended up flung around the inside of the dishwasher), in my refrigerator, in my freezer, and in my microwave.

Like other reviewers here, I too was looking to switch from plastic food storage containers to glass. I'm a fan and subscriber of Cook's Illustrated, and I like to read their unbiased equipment reviews. I've made purchases based on those reviews before and found I agree with their findings most of the time. So when I started researching glass food storage containers, I learned that the Kinetic Go Green GlassLock line was Cook's top choice for glass food storage containers in the test they conducted in May 2010. Their testing methodology was impressive, and because I wasn't interested in having containers that could go in the oven too, I decided to give them a try.

Once again, I agree with Cook's findings. I love these containers now, and have since bought another set of different sizes. Glass containers require something of a commitment from the user, and can be a real change for folks who've always used plastic. Yes, they can break, so you need to be as careful with them as you would your dishes and drinking glasses. Yes, same-sized pieces don't stack, but graduating sizes can and do "nest" quite nicely in the cupboard, and for me anyway, the two sets that I have now require no more space than all the plastic pieces did. The extra little effort is well worth it the containers simply do not leak, there are no odors, the non-toxic, non-reactive tempered glass does not scratch, does not take on the flavors or stains of the food that's stored in them, and the easy-to-use lids are airtight and waterproof. With all the concerns now about the potential health hazards of plastic storage containers, this is one less thing to worry about, and I'm very glad I made the switch.

If you're looking for glass containers that are oven safe, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for the best glass food storage containers with the best/easiest sealing lids, I can highly recommend these.

This wok is absolutely fantastic. I completed a cooking class in Thailand and while sitting by the pool with Ipad I ordered this wok so it would be waiting for me when I arrived back home to USA. This WOK is genius. It has taken my cooking up a few notches. Heating is even. Non-stick is fantastic as always. Before buying this WOK I paused at the comments here about scratching non-stick. Turns out of course to be a non issue if you are used to non-stick (e.g. use Silicon spatulas and use a sponge to clean). Six months later surface of WOK is absolutely pristine. I will add one comment on this topic the glass lid if you are not careful CAN contact the surface of WOK and leave a scratch. However I have yet to find a use for the glass lid on a WOK. Whatever. This WOK has changed my cooking life. Not only are my Thai dishes made to perfection but I use the WOK for eggs, hamburgers, bacon all turn out great.

I had a cheap wok several years ago everything stuck and it was miserable to cook with. So I was litlle skeptical that this wok would be any different --I was pleasantly surprised. I have used it a number of time with fabulous results. The non-stick surface is great!

I highly recommend being careful about the oil you use --I typically cook with EVO, but for high temp cooking, use something like peanut oil. Stirfrys turn out resturant quality! I am particularly pleased with the see-through lid perfect for steaming or watching quick-cooking items. Amazon offers one of the best prices that I've seen for Caphalon, too. Great product.

It is non-stick alright. However, the interior coating is easily scratched but using nylon spatula. I sent mine in for a replacement. The new one I received has exactly the same problem. It leads me to believe that the whole product line has the same quality. I would recommend for a $17 14" Carbon Steel Wok from Walmart. It is non-stick when seasoned correctly. I've been using one for three months now and it is very nice. I owned at least two sets of Calphalon cookware. Both are their high end product lines. The quality is going downhill and the price remains high.

Got this mini round cocotte to hold a coarse finishing salt. It sits 24/7 on the dining room table on a lazy susan so is within everybody's reach. The lid keeps the coarse salt dry and clean. Its cheerful yellow has been a spot of sunshine throughout the past dreary winter.

I gave our married son who loves to cook and entertains a lot 5 of these in different colors to set along the back of his kitchen cooktop. He keeps a variety of salts in them and gets may compliments for their smashing good looks. The one drawback is that being made of ceramic they can break. The lid's handle on one broke off in one piece when accidentally knocked off onto the granite counter. It got super-glued back on and works fine.

I've given nieces multi-colored sets of these as wedding gifts with a variety of sea salts. They can use them as salt cellars or for baking. These make great gifts.

As with all things "Le Creuset" this is a great addition to your kitchen. I use mine for kosher salt. Of course this is not a necessity but looks good on the counter.
