I wanted a tea pot for my occasional cup of tea. It is so tiny, it looks almost miniature. Works fine and I'll keep, but glad I'm not trying to boil water for a crowd.

This teakettle is the perfect size. I measured about 8 eight ounce cups of water in it, so it could offer enough hot water for 4 or 5 cups of tea. It is smaller than the usual teakettles, which looked monstrous to me. I really enjoy seeing my little teakettle on the stove. It's attractive and doesn't take up too much space. The bottom measures about 6 inches across.
