I gave this product five stars because it's an excellent deal for the price. I highly recommend them and I'd buy them again in a minute. But there are a couple of things to know. First, nowhere did anyone give the sizes, so here they are: 1 qt. covered saucepan, 2 qt. covered saucepan, 5 qt. covered dutch oven, 9½" frypan (dutch oven lid fits frypan). Next, these pans are THIN. One of them arrived with a small dent even though the packaging was intact (which means it was dented while being packed at the factory). I don't give a rat's rear about that, but I know it's a big deal to some. Even if yours arrive pristine, you'll dent them soon enough just in normal use. However, this set (bumps and all) will last a long time. 18/10 steel is the best for cookware. My advice is to throw away all of your non-stick cookware, as the parts of the surface that are no longer in the pans are now in your (and your family's) bloodstream. Eat healthy and live a long, happy life!

I absolutely do not use non-stick pans they are totally not safe for cooking food as teflon or whatever else they put on it comes out into your food bit by bit and gets into your body. I was on a budget and did some research on the type of pots used in good resturants. 18/10 stainless steel is the best type of pot you can get to cook with and though the make/brand, etc may be different, under $50 for a 7 piece pot set is amazing. The chef's equivalent to this set can run your in the thousands, and honestly, just like cameras, the quality of food is not dependent on the price you pay for your cookware. I can sear scallops and make coq au vin in these pots just a well as any other pot. It is all about how good a cook you are. I use these everytime I cook and put them in the dishwasher and they are still good after everyday use for the past 6 months, AND even if it decides to fall apart on me within a year or two, it has paid for itself in delicious cooking.

I have been frying, sauteing, boiling, washing, scrubbing these almost everyday since I bought them, and they are still going strong.

Update: I love these pots so much that I bought a set for my sister for Christmas. I use them everyday and they are still in perfect condition.

This is a serviceable set of cookware for the budget conscious. I bought it because I prefer not to cook with non-stick cookware and didn't want to spend a fortune. So far so good--cleans up nicely with a wool pad and has a level bottom so works well on my glass cooktop. A friend has a set of stainless that is not level and is difficult to use on a glass cooktop.

Decent cookware set that is value for money, beats buying individual similar quality cookware at the stores. I like that the handles are welded such that heat transfer is minimized so you don't really have to use a pot holder unless they have been sitting long on the stove.

I'm very glad to have this product. The stainless steel is really not-sticky, and the heat is very well distributed. I have even cooked eggs in the pan and they are absolutly not sticked, much more better than my last teflon pan! And without toxic residues :) Plus, the set looks very pretty. I recommend it!

I have been looking for a good chopping board for ages and this one is the best I've used so far. The wooden ones need good caring and I simply don't have the time to oil them so they've gone dry. I've also used a bamboo one but it cracked after a while and for me it's a bit too heavy to lift and wash. I enjoy the Epicurean cutting board immensely it's light, easy to carry around and wash, leaves only very light cutting marks and protects my Zwilling knives. Also it doesn't need oiling so it always looks fab!

The board is very light for its size and appears to be quite durable. And it's easy to clean.

But it has a very hard feel--more like cutting on glass or granite than on a traditional wood or plastic board. If you do any chopping, it sounds like machine gun fire. And if you do slicing/rocking with a curved chef's knife, it's still has a pretty harsh feel. I still haven't used it long enough to judge whether it really doesn't dull knives any faster than wood--but I have doubts, given how it feels.

Also, out of the box it had a horrible smell--like a wet dog wearing a wet wool sweater. But after a run through the dishwasher, it went away. Not sure if it will ever reappear (tho I note that Cook's Illustrated described the device as having a bad, lasting odor).

This is an excellent cutting board. It's nice to have a large board with a juice groove that is dishwasher safe. I prefer wood for cutting non-bacterial stuff like produce, but this is perfect for things like poultry. I also used it to carve a rotisserre chicken, and was quite pleased. The one minor flaw is that I have a granite countertop, and unless I place a towel underneath it slides a little if I'm doing some serious chopping. But as it's meant to be usable on two sides, I don't mind very much.

I've had this slate w/ black juice groove board in the 13 x 18 size for 2 years now. It is our only cutting board and we use it for cutting meat, veggies, and bread. Really, it had only the faintest of cutting marks on it up until a month or so ago. It was at that time a month ago that I started using a heavy meat cleaver to hack through turkey necks for our dogs' raw diet. Yes, it's showing considerable marks from hacking apart over 50 pounds of turkey necks with that meat cleaver, as you might have guessed.

It has no stains on it, though I suppose we don't really cut anything on it that would stain it, but I thought it worth mentioning that it hasn't discolored at all. It is a bit of a hassle to store it in our cupboards so we leave it out all the time, propped up on our counter. When we first got it I washed it a few times in the dishwasher but it does take up quite a bit of space so now we just give it a quick wash in the sink, easy breezy.

It still is a handsome cutting board even with those meat cleaver hacks and we'll continue to use it.

**UPDATE** Well, when I used the meat cleaver to cut apart 50 lbs of turkey necks with this cutting board, it survived. The same can't be said when my husband helped me out by hacking apart 30 lbs of turkey necks for our dogs' raw diet... he can swing the cleaver a lot harder than I can to cut through a turkey neck in one swing. The cutting board has met its end, the top layer has been chopped and marked up enough that it has peeled up, revealing a composite-type material underneath the pretty exterior. We'll continue to use this cutting board for raw turkey necks but we had to get a new cutting board for other tasks. So, to make a long story short, don't bring a meat cleaver down hard repeatedly upon this Epicurean cutting board. Yes, we should have known better. :)

We ordered two of these a few weeks ago, because we were tired of buying less expensive cutting boards and having them warp almost immediately (we took good care of them drying them immediately after washing, standing up to dry, but they'd still warp and separate). So far, we have had no problems with these whatsoever. No warping, they dry almost immediately after washing, and they don't nick and scratch as easily as wood cutting boards.

They are very smooth, so you might need to put some kind of mat underneath them to keep them from moving around if you're kneading dough or something, but other than that it hasn't been an issue. Highly recommend, well worth the price!

My experience is markedly different than the other reviewers of this product. I have several different types of cheese cutters in my kitchen gadget drawer and find myself reaching for this more often than the others. I like the ability to change the thickness of the slices of cheese by rotating the handle in your palm to be an advantage. I also note that there is an adjustment for the cutting wire tension so that you can keep it tight over time. I will admit that my initial uses of the slicer were clumsy, but when used often this is a really cool tool. Perhaps it's not for everyone, but it's a keeper for me!

I have to admit I was a bit bewildered when I first received the Rosle Cheese Wire as a gift. Having only used a "T" cheese wire in the past I was skeptical. But it has worked beautifully for several years now. It is comfortable and easy to manuever. I have had several Oxo wires which have all snapped after continued use. I have had no problems with this wire. I love the fact that I can tighten or loosen the wire for different type of cheeses or to vary the thickness of my slices. We go through multiple baby loafs of Tilamook Chedder every month and this is always the slicer of choice. And yes, it works for fresh mozzarella too. My three year old son even loves to use it, with adult supervision of course.

After the wires became too loose on a less-expensive cheese slicer, I finally spent the extra money on the Rosle. I am extremely glad I did. It provides easy slicing, with less resistance than the prior slicer. The long thin slicing section is maneuverable and easy to use. It has a nice weight, and looks great.

The Rosle offers two different thicknesses to choose from (one on either side), a cheese fork, and the cutting wire can be replaced (if it ever breaks). It is dishwasher safe, and still looks and works great after washing.

This Wire Cheese Slicer for Rosle is a substantial implement, made of 18/10 stainless steel. It will slice cheese in either 4mm or 5mm thick slices. It is 10.5 inches (26.5 cm) long in total, from the hanging hook to the prongs for picking up your cheese slices. The wire slicer is 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) long. The tension of the wire is easily adjustable with a knob near the top of the slicer, and you can buy replacement wires. It's a handsome tool. The pronged end can be useful, but some people may find it an unnecessary addition of length. If the prongs bother you, you might want to try the WMF cheese slicer, which is not quite as sleek but has no prongs.

This is the nicest wire cheese slicer I've used. The tension is just right, so it slices through relatively soft cheeses like a dream, making perfect, uniform slices. And it feels great in the hand. It will slice cheeses up to 4 inches wide and is much easier and consistent to use than a knife. Some people report that the wire breaks on hard cheeses, but this will happen with any wire cheese slicer. It goes without saying that a wire slicer cannot be used on Parmigiano-Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, or anything equally dense. It's for sliceable cheeses. It makes easy work of them, and both the slices and your Rosle slicer will look great on your table.

The steamer does fit and I'm sure it will do the job, but basket is MUCH thinner than the Aroma Simply Stainless rice cooker pot. Both are made of "surgical grade 304 stainless steel," and by the same manufacturer, so I naturally figured the steel was of the same thickness. Sadly, I was mistaken. I was hoping for a higher quality product.

The reason I gave this five stars is the construction of this skillet beats some of my higher end cookware. For one thing this works perfectly on my glass top stove and evenly distributes heat. I tried a 'bargain' model and gave that away because it had hot and cold spots in the construction. Not so this one.

Another feature I love is this is oven safe (up to 350 degrees F). I use it to make frittata and tortilla de patatas and the non-stick ceramic lets me practically eliminate oil.

The ceramic is real porcelain, and interestingly the handle is steel, which inhibits the transfer of heat from the aluminum body. There is also a silicone coating for gripping.

Instructions claim that this is also safe for electric and gas stoves and is dishwasher safe. It's also very easy to clean by hand because the ceramic is truly non-stick. My big test was to make tortilla de patatas with only a light run of olive oil over the interior of the pan. Nothing stuck to the surface, so serving was easy and clean-up a breeze.

I was SO looking forward to receiving this pan, as I read a review that touted it as absolutely the best pizza pan ever. Well, I should have paid more attention to the previous review...Titanic is an understatement! This pan is so big, that it doesn't fit inside my wall oven. So if your plan is to use it in your oven, measure it first! The oven needs to be a minimum of 22" wide. From rim to rim the pan measures 21", from outer edge of handle to handle, it measures 22-1/2". Looks like the Boy Scouts will be getting a donation from us!! I'm giving it 4 stars because it is a beautiful pan!

The first skillet I received was badly warped, but Amazon sent a replacement right away.

These cast iron skillets are not "seasoned" which is what I was looking for. They are rough when new and require a fair amount of work before curing: Removing the protective wax coating, sanding the inside (is a must), coating with vegetable oil and then curing at 500f in an oven for an hour. Read on the web "Cast Iron Jack McGrew's" method for curing cast iron. If done correctly they are excellent and the final product is better than the pre-seasoned skillets.

At 20 inches and 33lbs these skillets are huge but we always fill it up; eight to ten slices of french toast or two pounds+ of bacon or three to five pounds of potatoes.

For even heat control, use over a sturdy gas burner (Bayou Classic's Banjo cooker) or a fire grate with low coals.

We cut a hole in our round table on the lanai and set this pan in it. We have a propane burner underneath and now the whole family can sit around the table and cook their own food and enjoy each others company. We placed a small pan of water in the center to boil noodles and leafy vegetables. Then each person selects from a wide variety of raw meats, veggies and cooks their own meal right in the same pan as everyone else.

The pan is huge, heavy and could cook enough fried chicken for an army. It may work in a conventional over for deep dish pizza.

Bought this size and a 20 Qt size at the same time and use the 16 Qt by far much more often. Actually got them for my Holiday Open House, when I usually serve 2-3 different soups. The bottoms of these pans make it easy to serve for this type of event the food won't burn! (Obviously you have to watch the level of heat and stir occasionally) Use the 16 Qt all the time to make marinara sauce, mac and cheese for a large group, and of course soups, too. HIGHLY recommend this product and especially the 16 Qt size unless you have more room between your cooktop and range-top than I do! Whatever size it's a GREAT product great find! If I could have rated it a 20 I would have!

I have been cooking and using stainless cookware for years. I cook almost daily, and needed a large stock pot for making soup and boiling pasta.

The 16 Qt. size is perfect for my needs. It seems well constructed and the lid fits tightly.

With that said, after only using the pot a few times, and for basically just boiling water, the bottom of the inside of the pot started to develop small rust spots. I tried to scrub them out to some success, but they just returned the next time I used it.

I had bought a calphalon stainless wok at the same time, which gets used much more often, that has none of these issues.

I contacted the seller, and they told me after the 30 day time period, they could not take it back. They did tell me however that they would send my information to the manufacturer and I would get a phone call from them. I did not get a call, and nobody ever contacted me about this product. I believe you should have decent customer service if you are going to sell products on Amazon. Most companies I deal with are a pleasure. It is a shame that these guys do not have their act together.

I rarely write a negative review, if ever, but I paid good money on a product that is not as advertised. I have had stainless cookware items that are lasting years without problems. This one did not last a few days without corroding. Unacceptable.

I registered for this last year for a wedding present and after I recieved it I was completely blown away. I love it! It's versatile and just downright pretty. I gave this bowl as a Christmas gift and the receipient really loved it. Instructions came with the bowl on how it can be used to keep your bread warm, which is pretty cool. The quality is superb. You can get cheaper, "knockoff" versions of this bowl, but I decided to pay a little more because 1) It's made in the USA and 2) the quality is great. I highly recommend this. The grill portion is not what I would call non-stick. I scrub and still do not get all of the residue off. Even when I oiled the grill with olive oil, it didn't wash off easily. I washed it right away, to keep it from drying on and still not successful. Non-stick is not how I would describe it. It's better than my old broiler pan, but not the wipe off clean I had hoped for. I have used it about 4 times, so far.

The encapsulated aluminum-disk base is separating from my café' collection 1 qt.sauce pan. It was not high heat that caused it, just poor workmanship. Only a 1/4" spot weld holds the heating base to the bottom of the stainless steel pot. Bad design and this results in one heck of a hot spot, as seen by spot discoloration of the stainless steel pan........ I am a fire fighter and have seen my share of house fire resulting from aluminum pots and pans on the stove, so I stay away from aluminum cookware, The aluminum can, and has melted at stove top temperatures. The encapsulation helps but all the rest of my cookware is copper bottom. Made in China 032008.

While cooking a large pot of spaghetti sauce on the stove top, the lid shattered and glass went everywhere. Not too long after that, the strainer lid also broke. The pots are good, but I would not recommend them because I don't like cooking without the lids.

We purchased this set 2 years ago and have been cooking regularly with all of the pans. In fact, I use the saucepans and saute pan everyday. Small saucepan to make Chai (with milk) every morning; larger saucepan to make broth/soup/steamed vegetables etc. I also cook rice about once or twice a week in the larger pots.

I don't hand-scrub (unless something's burnt, of course) just throw the cookware in the dishwasher. After rather intensive use for the last 2 years, I am completely impressed with how everything is still holding up. They still all look rather new (except if you were to look at the bottoms which have a few spots of brown) and they still work exceptionally well. The glass tops are also excellent.

Going forward, I'd definitely purchase Wolfgang Puck cookware. Reliable, and definitely worth every penny I spent on it.

I was origionally looking for a different brand of cookware (we all know the perky cook, with the famous orange cookware), when I came across this set. I was a little nervous as I've come across other sets for this price range that were lightweight, and just unsatisfying. I was super excited when this arrived and I grunted picking it up (not super heavy, just more than what I was expecting). This set is a nice heavy weight, cleans up in a snap. I'm a mother of three and don't have time to sit and do dishes by hand every night, so this go right into the dishwasher and have kept their new look. --others I've had have dulled and clouded when put into the dishwasher. I have even burned some chicken in here (pretty badly I'm ashamed to admit) and it cleaned up in a snap.

If you're looking for a nice, everyday cook set that will last for years, this is the set for you.

I have used my set for years and have always liked it. I always have the right sized pots. The lids work on more than one pot and I have just the right sizes and utensils.

Once the Turkey was on the rack,the handles kept sliding off around the Turkey. I had to bake the Turkey of the rack without the handles and use 2 large metal spoons to get the Turkey out the pan once it was cool. It's hard getting a 16 pound Turkey out with fell apart once it was out of the roaster. The handles should have a hook catch so they don't slide off. What a waste of money!!!

i recently purchased a complete set of circulon "Infinite" pots and pans replacing a circulon set i had used for 10 years. The old set had included a 4 1/2 quart casserole pan; circulon no longer makes these. i ended up missing this pan so i decided to purchase the chocolate 5 1/2 quart covered caserole to complete my set. This has ended up being my favorite pot and it is also a beautiful caserole for serving. The color is rich and luminous chocolate and not captured in the photo. It is light-weight, can go in the oven and dishwasher and you can use metal utensils without damaging the surface. Nothing sticks to this surface and the handles and lid have comfortable cool handles. Overall, I very much prefer circulon "symmetry" to the circulon "Infinite"

I have been using this item for several months now and have not been completely satisfied. I purchased it because it was advertised to be induction stove compatible. It must be borderline as when I place it on the burner sometimes the burner works and other times it does not. All of the other induction Pots, pans etc. work fine, but this one is erratic. I gave it a 4 star only because it would probably work just fine on a regular electric or gas burner. It seems well made and have no other complaints. Packaging was good and I received it within the time stated.

After 12 good years, the nonstick surface was coming off of our Calphalon Cooking ware. After much research, we decided to go with the Circulon Symmetry line. While we cannot attest to the wear and tear, only having owned this for a short time, we *can* attest to the fact that it is heavy, conducts heat beautifully, and is the perfect size for a batch of soup. This 5.5-quart size is a must have if you're a one-pot-dinner family like we are. The dutch oven still gets busted out for large gatherings, but this medium size pot is perfect for just our family. We are thrilled with our purchase!
