I loved this little baking dish ... until it cracked. I baked my fish at 400 degrees F for 14 minutes. Shortly after taking the dish out of the oven I heard a loud POP! Then I discovered a huge crack across the bottom of the dish. Very sad considering the cost and that I was only able to enjoy the dish about 5 times before I had to throw it away.

I have the complete hard anodized pot and pan set from Circulon but was not sure on the bakeware so i gave a few pans a try and love them. They clean up easy and I have had no rust issues around the rolled ends as i have seen with other so called high quality bakeware. I have now added this pan to my collection and love them. The non-stick surface is durable and works well and the pan itself is a strong and heavy metal. You do get the distinctive Circulon pattern on whatever you bake but it actually kind of cool. I highly recommend these pans.

I have several Circulon pots and fry pans, but this was the first bakeware I bought from them. It is very heavy built compared to most bakeware, meaning the metal is pretty thick. Seems like it would last a long, long time, and nothing will dare to stick to it.

To be honest, I haven't made a cake in it, but have made cornbread in it and it just falls out, with absolutely no sticking. I have also cooked burritos in the toaster oven with it and even burned cheese just comes right off. Most of my other non stick bakeware feels pretty cheap next to this one. They also are in various stages of being scratched up. This one still looks brand new after a year or so. The non-stick is quite hard and scratch resistant.

Since this worked out so nicely, I plan on buying their muffin pan.

At the outset, I want to note that I am very happy and have no problem using stainless pans for 90+% of my cooking. But for a few things (e.g., eggs) I just prefer to use a nonstick pan. Meanwhile, we have had All-Clad pans for more than a decade and we have been very happy with them EXCEPT for a couple of nonstick pans we bought. The nonstick surface wore off the pans too quickly and they just did not last like the rest of our stainless steel All-Clad pans have over the years.

So my wife picked up this Calphalon 8 inch omelet pan for those few occasions where I want a nonstick surface.

This pan rocks! It was apparent right from the start that the nonstick material(s) on this pan totally outclass what the All-Clad pans use. And this pan has proven to hold up much better. We have been using this pan for well over a year now and the interior still looks like new. I have no doubt that this pan will last us for many more years.

I still love my All-Clad stainless steel pans. But when it comes to nonstick pans, I think Calphalon is better and the best I have ever used.

UPDATE 1/20/12

The nonstick surface on this pan is still working great . . . while the surface on my last All-Clad "non-stick" pan (a 10 inch skillet) became totally useless. So we tossed the All-Clad pan and bought the Calphalon 10 inch Unison non-stick skillet that is the companion to this one. If possible, it seems that they have even IMPROVED the non-stick surface on these pans. Again, I really like my other All-Clad pans, but for some reason they just don't seem to make a good non-stick pan. Until they do, I highly recommend these Calphalon pans.

I have had Calphalon since we got married in 1997. This set of pots and pans (new for 2009) are by far the "best" version of Calphalon I have ever seen! I can practically wipe them down, they are so easy to clean. They are also dishwasher safe, which is what I need given my busy lifestyle. Of note, you can't use PAM or such sprays on this new Unison set. No problemo as it cooks everything with about 1/3 the oil required. I hardly use any oil (get MISTO spray and put olive oil in there) and the pans cook up everything perfectly. The handles are supposed to be stay cool types but like other metal handles, they do heat up if left on the stove for a long time (or if they are short handles like those on the large stock pots). Great set overall! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Excellent quality, so easy to use and clean. You don't have to put butter or oil in the pan . . .great for healthy cooking! I wanted to wait a while before posting a review, as somethings the flaws in these things are not readily apparent on the first few uses. First, the cookware nests perfectly and has helped to get back some much needed space in with all my pots and pans. For me, these pans have essentially become my go to pans for cooking. I only occasionally use the other non-stick pans that I have.

The two skillets are solid and have good bottoms to them. I like the additional little handle on the opposite side of the skillet which makes having to maneuver it around the kitchen very easy. The pots are also easy to use and to nest. There were some complaints in the previous posts about the handles and overflow of boiling through the handles. I understand what people mean, but its mainly a concern when the lid is aligned so the gap there for the nesting is aligned on the handles as well. However, I actually like the design, because when there is overflow, it travels through the handle and out the hole at the end of the handle which is away from the burner and prevents the flare-ups that you get when you are boiling something. I see that as a not bad feature. This is either a design flaw or feature depending on your personal view of it.

Overall the pots are all solid, well made and work well. They also are a great set of basic pots for anyone needing to stock a kitchen, and they are great space savers!

This cookware LOOKS well-designed; good features like OK to use on induction burners, SORT OF stackable, uses recycled metal: Those few good features don't redeem it... it goes badly wrong from those.

We've been using these for several months; they are badly designed & can be hazardous:

===Lids APPEAR nice, but try to clean them! Inside edges have about 1/2" recess between edge where glass is held & the actual rim of the lid. That has fairly sharp edges to the metal rims: shreds cleaning cloths & sponges used to wash them, & can cut one's hands. Because that recess inside lid rim is so deeply inset, & just narrow enough, it's tough to clean hand.

A really good dishwasher might help; but be VERY careful when hand-washing these lids, to prevent getting cut!

===Lids seal poorly: steam escapes; cooks must watch that foods being cooked do not get too dried out, & prevent themselves being steam-burned.

===Plastic lid handles also go inside lids, in order to allow some lids to stack, therefore, heat from cooking can put VOC's into foods, which MIGHT be a toxicity problem. ALSO, since handle-plastic is inside exposed to heat, heat can excessively transfer to outside handle, making picking up the lid by a hot handle a safety issue.

===EZ-Store pots & pans have micro-grooves in metal interiors due to cheap manufacture. ALL pans with micro-grooves cause foods to stick & burn, makes cleaning some things a nightmare! Micro-grooves collect microscopic residues, which can form potential vectors for infection.

ONLY pans machined very smooth inside, will have non-stick capability;

IF Non-toxic, Non-stick is what you seek, look for OTHER cookware with surface like those inside classic Revere-ware pans:

To make non-stick metal surfaces, those MUST be very smoothly cast or machine polished: EZ-Store pans are NOT.

===And no, they don't ALL stack together.

The pans stack, but the lids don't all stack, & pots don't stack with the pans very well.

You'll need to make 2 or more stacks, at least one large lid must be by itself--a 3rd stack?

===Stainless steel pans must have something magnet-attractive inside their bases to work with induction burners; at least EZ Store pans have that.

Bottom line: The company needs to correct the design flaws--at least correct the safety issues!!

I purchased this for our RV and I can totally see using this in our home too. The stacking feature is a great way to save space and the quality of the cookware is excellent! The only minor concern I have is that when I stacked them without anything in between them as a buffer, the metal on metal caused a dark mark on the pans. I now have a paper napkin in between each pot to prevent it from rubbing on each other. This may not be an issue if you plan on using it at home, since there won't be much jostling around from bumps in the road while traveling in an RV.

I also bought a ScanPAn frying pan that is very non-stick, more than this one, but still employs PTFE, ugh. With that one, I didn't even need to use a spatula, a small shake released the egg I was frying, flip, cook other side, slide onto plate. Thomas' english muffin with taylor ham and a fried egg. Yay for breakfast. With this one, I still needed to pull out the spatula to gently scrape it off, though no traces of egg was left on it. It is also harder to clean. With the other pan, the instructions say to add cold water once done cooking to use the steam to loosen debris and then just rub with a sponge. It is really that simple without any warping. The Cuisinart still had some issue getting it clean after cooking a piece of meat on it. I don't use heat higher than medium. It is cheaper though than the scanpan which is why I got theirs in 8" and this one in 10". If scan pan's 12" were cheaper I'd get theirs, but I'll settle for this brands due to pricing.

I had to come back and edit it after more time using it. It is horrible, beyond belief. The first time was acceptable and I fried an egg sans oil. I've cooked using oil and is still sticks. I need to let food soak with water after cooking just to get to clean it. I'm going to but PAM to use with this pan, though it should not need it. Most non-stick manufacturers will even tell you that it is not recommended as it impedes the not-stick surface from doing it's job, but in this case, it already isn't. I don't heat it past medium, I don'y use abrasives to clean it, and I've cared for it like a baby. Scanpan's stainless steel is so much better, too bad I got an 8" for it, gotta save for the 12" I guess. A well treated cast iron skillet works better than this garbage.

Before this purchase I had used the same size of Prestige but the Aluminium version for a couple of months. I was very happy with the quick cooking done in the cooker and hence I thought I want to take the even faster one hard anodized pressure cooker. The food completely cooks and cools in less than an half an hour. I always cook in separators and not dont prefer to cook directly in the pressure cooker. If you cook directly without separators, the cooking time would be much faster. The product is as promised, saves a lot of fuel costs and most of all time. I would highly recommend this !!

Nice heavy cast iron fryer but I thought I could fry smaller items in the 4-Qt, like fries for two, but the wire basket sits to high to be cost effective with the amount of oil I would have to use to fry a small amount, but thats just my opinon other than that, something of a greater amount where large amounts of oil are required this is a fine fryer.

Wanted some of the smaller ovenproof ceramic leftovers containers to throw directly (minus the cover) into microwave after refrigerator storage instead of the Tupperware or Ziplok plastics because these latter don't hold up well to oils in foods and become either mishapened or stained, even with 'lowest power' heating cycles, over time. We've had ORIGINAL Corning French White items for over 30 years and these have stood the test of time. These aren't those. This 'Corning' is actually just the purchased/leased trademark that World Kitchens is using (also Sunbeam, etc, I believe) to ride on the coattails of the original Corning Glass Works quality reputation. These have the rubber/plastic covers, too, but they are NOT sized properly to fit 'airtight' for effective containment. They are off measure by about 1/8th inch in the diameter too big. This is also the same problem with their 7pc set which I also purchased for someone else. One (the larger) of the two rubber/plastic covers for the two different sized casseroles was defective in this regard. See that review, too. Not worth the money, unless you don't care about using the covers. We're looking into Pyrex products for better satisfaction for our needs. Maybe Amazon should drop this company's products to avoid disappointing its customers?

I am pleased with my purchase. I use them for baking an egg casserole ahead of time and then take to work to reheat in the microwave. They are perfect for this. I rated it four stars as one was slightly chipped on the underside of the lip. This was not caused from shipping as they were packaged very well. I did not return it as it wasn't worth the hassle, and I might chip it myself through constant use.

These ramekins are just the right size for a generous serving of custard, etc.

The lids stay on, but are not tight, so liquid would spill out if a cup tipped over. Plastic wrap would be a better protection to keep the contents from drying out. The prices here seems to fluctuate.

I wrote the Swiss Diamond company and asked for an explanation of what the nano-composite material was made of.

After a week or so, I received a polite reply from Allan Wolk, an employee in the U.S. His email informed me that, "Our patented nonstick surface uses a nano-composite of real diamond crystals and PTFE; it is applied using a computer controlled plasma gun at very high temperatures."

Naturally, my attention was immediately drawn to the PTFE. The acronym sounded familiar. What was PTFE?

A quick search of Wikipedia provided the answer: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PTFE)

As Wikipedia explains:

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fluoropolymer discovered by Roy J. Plunkett (1910-1994) of DuPont in 1938. It was introduced as a commercial product in 1946 and is generally known to the public by DuPont's brand name Teflon®.

Huh? Teflon? Wait a minute. Didn't the Swiss Diamond website just claim that the product contained no Teflon?

If you look back at the Swiss Diamond website screen capture, the careful wording of their answer now becomes clear. It states, "The Swiss Diamond coating does not contain any Teflon taking into consideration that "Teflon" is a trade mark, made and owned by DUPONT."

So the pans don't contain Teflon, they just contain the chemical called Teflon. It's like saying a nuclear warhead doesn't contain any plutonium, it only contains nuclear fissionable material.

For the manufacturer to insist the Swiss Diamond pans contain no Teflon whatsoever when it is made primarily from polytetrafluoroethylene, the chemical widely known as Teflon, is extremely deceptive. In fact, the intent of the Swiss Diamond company seems to be to deceive consumers by omission of the facts. The FAQ document on the Swiss Diamond website, for example, does not bother to say something like, "But our pans do contain PTFE, the chemical known as Teflon." It simply insists they contain no Teflon and moves on to the next question.

It seems that Swiss Diamond goes out of its way to give the impression that this product is free of Teflon chemicals and is surfaced primarily with diamonds. That's the impression I got, anyway, and I read the promotional materials several times before purchasing the pan.

Consumers have been hoodwinked yet again.

I decided to try Swiss Diamond, and started with a covered 10" skillet. It convinced me to get more-I can reheat meat cooked on the grill and it tastes as good as the first time! Considered ordering the 10-piece set, but wasn't sure I wanted all those pieces, so have started accumulating a custom set for my cooking needs. This small set was a good price and the sizes will work well for everyday cooking for 2-3 people. Ordered some larger pieces for when the family comes home.

I was looking for a French Press with more elegance than the plastic ones offered cheaply in many department stores, but also one that was not as pricey as Bodum. This fit the bill. And it has served marvelously! It comes with simple directions and works wonderfully, making great coffee, as, of course, do most French Presses. But this particular one has more bang for your buck. Definitely recommend it!

I have owned several other french presses and this is the best so far. I am very happy with this press particularly because the cut out design on the metal holder helps me measure how much water to pour into the press for the number of cups I want for any given day. This press looks nice when sitting on the counter. The glass is secure and the metal holder surrounds more than half the glass so it helps protect it from accidental bumps. Coffee is delicious with no need to taste the coffee filter I had to use with my coffee maker. I wish Amazon sold the replacement cut but I hope I will not need one.

After starting with a quite small 3 cup (12oz) La Cafetiere press (which I really like but I can make 1 10oz cup max), I started shopping for a somewhat larger press. I decided that a 4 cup (16oz) would serve me just fine. It seemed that all the french presses were based on a 4oz cup size, so I ordered the Berghoff based on that assumption. I had purchased this ~2 years ago to use primarily as a lid for my stainless steel skillet. I've been known to also use it as a lid for my wok. It has done it's job well for these 2 years. Unfortunately, a few months ago the coating of the lid starting flaking off. At first I shrugged it off, but now I'm starting to catch little black flecks after running the dishwasher with it. I don't know if it's from the dishwasher (never got any instructions) or the oven or what. I'll probably end up getting a stainless steal, uncoated lid now. But for the price, it makes a great mid-term solution.

very nice thing, goes well with all kinds of pan. I actually bought it for my two 12" pans (one just skillet and one stir-fry pan) from different brand and this cover went well on both of them. It has little hole for steam excaping and it flat at the edge which is very convinient for stir fry for exemple.

After using these for about 6 months they completely fell apart at the seams. Had to throw them out. Great Idea but not worth the money I paid for them.

I had planned to make something like this myself, but found these online and decided it would likely be cheaper to buy them instead. And I'm sure I made the right decision. These are so elegantly simple -they're perfect for almost all sizes and shapes, just short of a stock pot. We use them for woks, 6 inch frying pans, and pots ranging from 2 7 quarts... and cheaper than buying the materials myself. They seem durable to boot, but I have only had them a few weeks. Highly recommended!

They didn't last well. The seams pulled apart and curled up. I got some from Pamperd Chef for my mother and after 5 years are still in great shape.

it was nothing like the picture...it was pink foam cutouts . What I ordered was as pictured, doubled the order and gave them to my daughter for Christmas. i was horrified when she opened them and saw they were not the same as pictured !

I gave these 4 stars rather than 5 because of the white dots. Perhaps they make the protectors prettier, but they are painted on and have a tendency to stick to the pan when I pick it up. They do what they are supposed to do, protect the pans, and I also use them between glass bowls.
