I've been looking for this type of spatula for years. They used to make most of them like this, soft enough so you can really follow the curves of your mixing bowl and get every last drop of batter out of the bowl. It's wonderful and I highly recommend it. I'm going to order 3 more right now!

just bought an inductive cooktop and now we have to replace a number os non-inductive aluminum content pots including mama's favorite littler saucepan. Could not imagine how difficult it weas to find a 1 quart saucepan so we settled for this 1 1/2 quart sauce pan. It is designed to work on an inductive cook top. It is very neat, clean, the inside is graduated with marks for measuring, a pouring lip and it has a very attractive see thru glass top. perfect except: if you use it on a gas range, the hot gases from the flame wrap up around the sides of the pot and some of them rise up where the handle is. Since there is no sufficient cutout where the hollow handle meets the side of the potm the hot gases travel up the handle and make it hand-burning hot. Not a problem with other kinds of heat sources, though.

First let me say that this is a very useful dish for casseroles, and large dishes. It is ovensafe and dishwasher safe. I always try to spray it with Pam before I bake in it, but you don"t have to.

This is an exceptionally beautiful dish. The scallops and flowers are done in an extremely artistic way. These come from a Chinese manufacturer, Thunder Group, who appears to make the same few lines of pots and pans under several house brands. When ordering from Amazon you may end up with several different laser-etched logos depending on luck of the draw. Pure speculation: They're selling over-runs from other contracts on Amazon.

Although not explicitly stated in the product specs, these are in fact 3-ply pans with a HUGE, fully encapsulated aluminum slug in the bottom. The bottoms are probably an inch thick, and these things are extremely solid.

On a scale of 1/10 for sturdiness, I give them a solid "not afraid to beat someone to death with them".

As long as you cook with them the way you're supposed to (preheat!), and don't expect food to just fly off the way it would with Teflon (they come with cleaning instructions!) you can expect these to perform just as well as some very expensive competitors. I can say with 100% honesty that they compare favorably with some of the boutique clad cookware I have that cost literally ten times as much.

I've been using them sometimes twice daily since buying them, and have yet to see any serious issues. Granted, I'm used to cooking on steel (carbon steel frying pans and wok) so these were not a huge adjustment.

Even if you're not used to cooking on steel, it's worth learning! If you cook a lot, and are subsequently tired of having to replace your coated non-stick pans every year or two, or having to dirty another dish when moving from stovetop to oven for certain recipes, give these a shot.

A word on NSF certification: NSF certification has nothing to do with any governmental body, safety regulations, or what have you. If you're curious, you should read the FAQ at:

Essentially, it's a guarantee that the materials, process, and finished product are suitable for safe and sanitary use in a commercial cooking environment. My reasoning is that 1) if I'm going to buy Chinese cookware, I better make sure it's not radioactive or whatever, and 2) if it's good enough to satisfy commercial standards and business insurance underwriter scrutiny, it's good enough for home cooking.

These utensils have to be the most attractive thing in my kitchen (besides my wife). Very high quality, and so far very durable. Ergonomically they fit well in your hand (comfortable). I do 99% of the cooking in my household, but yet I find that every time I go to find one of the kitchen meister utensils its in the sink or dishwasher. I have no explanation other than they are so attractive, and my family is drawn towards using them. I wish they would keep there darn hands off them, unless of course they actually start cooking for me (yeah right). It is quite irritating when you go to grab your favorite utensils and you cant find them. I have even found them in my daughters room which just blows my mind? I think I am going to start hiding them where only I know where they are at! Overall great product great price!

I use the two different-sized spatulas the most and love it. The other day I had sticky dough stuck to my mixer bowl and the larger spatula couldn't pull it off. I really like this. It's nice looking, sturdy and practical. I like that I can put hot water in the base, but don't have to. I also like that with the base, I don't seem to get any honey on my counter top.

For those of you who have never owned or seen one of these before. The honey flows out the bottom of the glass jar, controlled by the lever on top. This doesn't pour like a syrup dispenser. It's really rather nifty!

The only thing I could say that they could improve is that it can be a little cumbersome to fill. The hole on the bottom will leak the honey out as you fill it if you don't keep your finger over the hole. A little filler plug would be a nice edition.

It's okay, but just okay. The top, which looks like metal in the picture, is chromed plastic. I wonder how long the plastic opening mechanism will last. The stream of honey is very thin, even when in the 80's here. That amounts to a lot of waiting. Mine leaked into the glass holder right from the start as well.

Cheap Le Creuset Silicone 8-Inch Round French Trivet

This is a beautifully done trivet for the price, and the fact that it's silicone. What I love is that the silicone makes it slip-resistant once you put a pot/pan/kettle on it, so you don't need to worry about it sliding around on the counter if bumped. I bought this for a gift, but I'm thinking of getting a couple for myself. I bought the cobalt blue, but it is not as bright as pictured. I would say that it is a little more like a country blue, or at least has more gray it in than pictured. If you are truly wanting a bright cobalt blue, you may be a little disappointed. The blue I received actually works better for person I was shopping for, so it didn't bother me.

Product arrived exactly as expected. White is a nice clean white; Cobalt blue trivet is not the same saturated cobalt blue as in Le Creuset stoneware. For me, the trivet color on my screen is the color received. Not having an exact match wasn't an issue for me but if that is what you are hoping for you may want to consider another color or white.

I use the trivets to protect my countertop when taking hot items out of the oven or off the stovetop. Have also used the trivets under round casserole dishes when traveling with hot food. Countertop is unharmed and no injured fingers to report. The detail in the trivet is well defined and does not detract from its usefulness. I wash them in my dishwasher (toprack) occasionally and they continue to look and work like new. Great product, would buy again.

This sauce pan came with several chips in the non-stick coating in the rim of the pot. Seller was kind enough to send me another pot, but it also had a chip in the rim of the pot. I don't know if it was sent out that way or the damage was done in mailing. Either way, it is my opinion that this is a cheaply made pot. I bought this pan mostly for cooking one person servings of pasta. I've used it around 2 dozen times so far, the nonstick properties are just as they were when new. If that changes, I'll be sure to update this review. This 1qt pan did not come with a lid, which is fine, I didn't expect it to. The handle is long and fairly heavy, so the pan is a bit unstable unless it has a few ounces of weight in it. Other than that it's a great pan, especially considering how inexpensive it currently is compared to similar pans sold in stores.

There are no negatives for this product line. Nothing sticks to these pots and pans and it is so incredibly easy to wash off foods that may look stuck. It slips off like butter with a little water. These are not too heavy to handle and the bottom is smooth so won't ruin your flat electric stove tops. The handle is easy to hold on to and I've been using it for over a year and there is no residue or scratches on the surface of the cooking area. It still looks band new :)

So far my cookware is great. I got the 10 pc set. Now I wish I would have got the 12 pc. No more ingesting PTFE and PFOA. Easy clean up. I now am able to make my husband over easy eggs with out breaking the yolks and I don't need to spray the the pan with any oil. LOVE IT!

We needed new pans for our FL home, so I did a little online research, visited a couple stores, and selected the Cuisinart anodized non-stick set as the way to go for teflon-type pans.

Great decision. I've since supplemented the set with a couple 12-inch pans of same type, and am completely set for non-sticks. These have been used repeatedly in our kitchen food prep, and I've had nothing but great experiences.

These pans heat evenly, the handles are well-balanced, and the non-stick label is completely accurate. No individual pan is too heavy, but each feels very solid in the hand. I use utensils designed for non-stick surfaces and have had no scratch problems at all. Even the handles for the lids are high enough for a guy's hands to fit under them without getting burned.

Plus, Amazon's price is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

I loved these when I first got them (about 6 months ago). I still like what they are made of and that I'm not thinking about nasties that may get into our food from the pan. I do however already have issues with the frypans sticking even though I've followed directions and handwashed, never in dishwasher etc. Not sure I could justify the cost to rebuy. I think I'll look for another "green" brand once I'm done with these.

Pros:

Easy to clean (to date). I wish I could review this after 2 years instead of a month and a half. So far though, so good.

Attractive. Pots seem to hold the shine nicely. Orange color is nice.

Orange handle covers appear to hold up very well.

Cons:

The stock pot handles are pretty tight in to the body of the pot. You have to use pot holders when boiling water as it's too easy to burn your fingers.

The other bummer is that the handles are only oven-rated up to 350 degrees. So if you want to make a fritata in the oven, don't use these pans.

The Calphalon pots that we've used for the last 5 years are breaking down. Even though they're the regular pans (not non-stick), the coatings are wearing. It will be interesting to see how these do in 5 years. I wish I could give more help than what I've listed above.

UPDATE:

The nice orange handles do NOT last. They're breaking apart after just a regular amount of wear and tear. We are not hard on our pots and pans and yet, they're breaking apart. That was part of the appeal of these. Based on how they're wearing, I would no longer recommend these.

We just got an induction stove top and since we needed stainless steel cookwear we tohught this would be a great fit, WRONG! everything sticks even if you add non-stick spary, which is not ideal. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I love to cook, always have. Between mom and grandma, I grew up learning all the "tricks" of the trade. You are as likely to find me in the kitchen during the cold winter months baking up a holiday treat or working on a new recipe just as likely as you are to find me working on my cars during the warmer months. It's a "hobby" that people seem to have forgotten about in our modern times -good, old fashioned home cooking!

Yet, despite my love for the kitchen there was a problem; my hate for the cookware! Oh I've tried it all over the years. Everything from the cheapest of the cheap to some of the more expensive pots and pans. Yet time and time again they let me down. They either didn't hold up to repeated use; started to rust and/or tarnish; heated food unevenly; etc, etc. It was a nightmare. Having working in a restaurant in college I longed for the days when I had restaurant quality pots and pans to use -but, alas, my budget couldn't afford that!

So when I got the chance to try out these Stainless Steel pots and pans from Rachael Ray I was cautious, but willing to give them a shot. To be honest I had used the teflon coated equivalent also offered under the Rachael Ray name and was less than pleased. However, I went into this experiment with an open mind -let the cooking begin!

First and foremost, I decided to whip up dishes that really tested the ability of this cookware. Everything from pasta to stir fry and everything in between. For those of you not used to cooking with stainless steel you must remember that you have to use oil to keep food from sticking and that stainless steel tends to conduct heat a little faster than other materials you may have used in the past.

I was impressed with how evenly this cookware distributed heat. No hot spots, no wild temperature swings. Everything heated up uniformly and a bit quicker than what I was used too. +1

Next, the weight of the pans was tested. There is nothing more aggrevating than having to chase pots and pans around the stove because their weight is not distributed evenly. I am pleased to say that even with the smallest pot I had no problem keeping it in place and able to stir the contents with chasing it around and around. +1

Cleanup was the next adventure -and some of you know that cleaning can be a real chore. Now I have to be fair here, a lot of the "effort" you will put into cleaning any pot or pan has a lot to do with how you use it. If you turn the temperature up to the maximum and let things burn or boil over -well, you have your own situation to deal with there. However, if you cook things properly and keep an eye on things as they cook you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy these guys are to clean. I use a no-scratch ScotchBrite pad and so far I've been happy with the ease at which they clean. Sure, you have to use a little elbow grease now and then but after multiple uses these guys still look as good as the day I took them out of the box. +1

For this car guy who also loves to fool around in the kitchen this cookware has been a blessing. I have no doubt that a year from now I'll still be enjoying it and have high hopes that my search for the "perfect" pot and pan has finally ended -sure, you could get better with restaurant quality, but for the price point and features this set offers, why spend the extra money?

I didn't think I'd use the smallest pot, but I find it's my go-to for grits or heating up soup for two. It's actually quicker than using the microwave. Really! The smallest pan I'm reserving just for eggs; I'm using the salt-and-oil/no-wash technique, and so far my scrambled eggs have been light and fluffy and have not stuck at all. (I'll wait until the pan's a little better seasoned before I try over-medium.) The larger pan is just right for stir-frying and one-pan casseroles, and the stock pot is great for all sorts of things of course.

But what makes it different/better than other cookware? I can only compare it to the Wal-mart stuff (no comparison!) and the set of Calphalon hard-anodized cookware I bought years ago when it was on clearance. I FAR prefer the Rachel Ray set. The orange color of the handles is a bit funky, but you've got to admit it's a standout in the kitchen. I LOVE the inverted bell-shaped design of the pots, and they are well-balanced and easy to lift. I also like the domed glass lids, also with rubberized handles, much more than the flatter style of some other sets.

I'm older and arthritic, and all I can say is I just feel SAFER using this set. It all cleans up quickly with soap, water, and a Scotchbrite pad, with the occasional Barkeeper's Friend to remove spots that form on the inside. I even burned some beans in one of the pots, leaving the "OMG this is ruined" black crust on the bottom. I just heated up some water with a little vinegar in it, boiled it a bit, then left it sitting overnight. Cleaned up like a charm. I am really thrilled to have this set. It is definitely quality cookware, and there is not a piece in the set that won't be used frequently in my kitchen.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I'm a bit of a cookware snob owning a pretty large collection of Calphalon One cookware. This set cost a fraction of my other set and does essentially the same thing, but not as well because the pans aren't as heavy. In most cases this might not present too big a problem, but it can when needing even heat for long periods of time. One other thing the set includes a 10" pan, please do yourself a favor and buy an inexpensive non stick pan for cooking eggs etc. or you will want to throw this pan out your window. I say inexpensive because no matter how well made a non stick pan is, it's going to need to be replaced every year or so depending on how much you use it.

I was reluctant to order this at first due to a lot of comments around the packaging of the unit and them showing up with dents and scratches. When the unit arrived the outside parcel was a bit torn. However the seller must have taken the feedback that was given and made some changes as my unit was in perfect condition without a single scratch or dent. It was double boxed. The OEM box has the unit inside with a Styrofoam shell. Then the EOM box was lined with stiff cardboard corners and wrapped in Styrofoam around that and then placed in an additional box. Only the otter box had a slight tear. Given the weight of the unit it was expected. Don't hesitate to order this unit as I'm certain it will show up in perfect condition if we were to order an additional one.

The unit itself is made of quality materials. I placed a digital thermometer inside the unit and it holds a sold 37 degrees inside. Keep in mind this is a minifridge and not a cooler. A major difference. The only complaint I have about the unit is that we have it downstairs behind our bar. Not in the bar but behind it sitting on the carpet. When placed on the carpet the door would drag the carpet and after our first basement break in party the door was left slightly open a few times because the door was difficult to shut. I tried to adjust the feet to raise the unit up but was unable to do so because the legs are not adjustable. I happen to have an extra 18X18 tile from the bathroom. I sat the unit on top of the tile and it solved the problem. The door open and shuts perfectly. Keep in mind we do not have shag carpet either. It is a medium density stainmaster carpet with standard stainmaster padding. If you plan to place this in a carpeted area do yourself a favor and go purchase an 18X18 tile.

As others have mentioned the shelves don't hold cans the best when you go to fill it as some tip from side to side when placed vertical. I removed the second from the bottom shelf to hold 4-5Liter kegs. I can hold exactly a case of beer in the bottom section which is not as deep as the others since the compressor housing is in the way. Which leaves me with the top full shelf and the very top shelf that holds them in a horizontal fashion. The horizontal shelf holds a 12 pack 6 on each side. Without the removal of a shelf this unit will not accommodate 16oz water bottles or beer bottles placed vertically. These will need to be placed on their sides unless you remove a shelf.

Overall I would give this fridge a 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. It servers our purposes perfectly and it looks great, and it was at a great price point. If I had to make a couple of changes or a wish list. I wish it used an LED bulb for that newer look. Additionally, I wish the light could be turned on when the door was shut since it is a glass face to showcase the drinks inside. UPDATE: Finds out there is a switch inside on the side of the light to turn it on. Check that off the lsit! Other than that it's the perfect height and the top is being used to hold our EdgeStar 5Liter Kegerator. Which places the tap at the perfect height and I am 5'10".

All in all don't hesitate to purchase this unit as I searched for several weeks and really did my homework before ordering a mini fridge for our bar when we finished the basement. I assure you that you will not find a better product at this price point.

UPDATE: Over a year later this thing is still ice cold and no issues. Look no furhter, the perfect minifridge holds true!!!

I was concerned given all the reviews about keeping the drinks cold enough but I use mine in my workout room to house all my exercise drinks and it keeps them plenty cold enough at a medium-high setting (probably due the fan circulating the air which most beverage coolers do not have). I haven't seen any dramatic increase in my electric bill either. My only complaint is the auto-defrost feature. It does auto-defrost and collect the water in a reservoir that is supposed to evaporate by the heat of the compressor. But in my house apparently it didn't get hot enough because it didn't evaporate and over flowed in the back and spilled out onto the floor behind the unit. Now I just keep an eye on it and use a large syringe to remove the water if the reservoir fills up.

Unit arrived undamaged and worked right out of the box. Door was assembled a bit crooked and overall quality is mediocre but looks good from a distance. Have had it about 5 weeks now and it is doing its jobdrinks stay sufficiently cold, good capacity, internal fan helps a lot (main reason I bought it) and is quiet enough in my family room adjacent to my home theater setup. Stopped working once for some unknown reason (maybe got a bit hot as I have it installed in a tight cabinet spaceIFU clearly says it is designed to be free-standing) but after unplugging and letting it sit for 30 mins, it started up again and has been fine ever since. I check the external cabinet temp regularly and while it does get quite warm to the touch, it seems to be okay installed as is. A good idea is to keep it out first time it cools down your drinks (it will work quite hard doing this), then when the compressor cycles off (ieit has reached its set temp), you can push it back in. Overall it seems to be a good deal for the price.

I picked this one for the size and design. I considered a full size fridge, but there aren't a lot of options that don't include a freezer, and in those size/price ranges, none of them are frost free. I didn't want to deal with that.

I've had the Danby for a couple of months now. I keep it in the basement, so it's in a cooler place, and doesn't have to work so hard. I do like to keep my drinks ice cold, and even when fully loaded, it delivers. And I do not have the temp setting at the coldest.

Using it primarily for bottles. Almost all the smaller fridge and beverage coolers show with cans, so it's tough to judge how many bottles it will hold. So I got the larger size. Turns out that was a good idea, since the shelf mounting options are fairly limited, I ended up using only 2 shelves to maximize the placement of bottles. And it holds a LOT of beer bottles. I can fit about 20 lying down on the bottom, in front of the compressor hump, and each shelf is, I think about 7 bottles deep by 6 wide. It's a LOT of room.

Gets everything cold pretty quickly and keeps it there. In my random trips to the basement for beer or other things, it is rarely running the compressor, so it seems to be fairly efficient.

I do have a couple of nitpicky complaints:

The wire shelves do not suit for balancing a full load of bottles, you end up with bottles leaning on other bottles because of the spacing of the wires. It still works, but it could be better.

What the heck is up with the top shelf with the hump in the middle? Seems like it's a spacer for the light, but it doesn't seem to make any sense to me at all, I don't use it.

If you live in a humid area, like I do, you'll have a LOT of condensation on the glass. When I first turned it on, the front glass was completely covered with a thick layer of water. I wiped it clean/dry a couple of times after it was cooled down to the proper temp. That helped a bit, but the bottom 1/2 to 1/3 is usually wet at all times. Not bad enough that you can't see inside, but maybe it needs better dual-glass insulation or something? Not sure.

Overall, I'm very happy with it so far. I can easily fit 10 different 6 packs and a 12 pack or 2 of bottles ice cold.

First of all, based on the other reviews here, I got really lucky that mine arrived without damage. The packaging is very bad, only 1/2 inch of styrofoam for a 70lb fridge doesn't seem like the best shipping idea. That being said, I am very pleased with this item.

Pros:

1. It's quiet.

2. It looks spectacular.

3. It holds a ton of drinks. I can fit 75 12oz cans of soda and 24 8.4oz cans of red bull in this fridge. That's nearly 100 cans!

4. It locks, I did not know that when I bought it, but it was a nice surprise!

Cons:

1. With the way it's packaged there is a good chance of it arriving damaged.

2. The spacing between wires on the racks is way too wide, where some 12oz cans only sit on 1 wire.

3. Do not remove the sticker on the bottom of the door. It leaves a horrible residue that does not come off easily at all.

4. It is taller and heavier than you may expect it to be. Read the dimensions carefully, and it is close to 70lbs. You will need either a dolly or 2 people to move this.

The cons are mostly nit picks. This is a very good fridge for the price and I am very happy with the purchase. If not for the packaging this would be 5-stars.
