This set is attractive, weighty and durable. A great value for the money and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I reviewed more than 100 stainless steel sets for everyday, everything was either too overpriced or very cheap looking. My everyday stainless was almost 25 years old, dull, scratched, and I was embarrassed to have to put it on the table when company came so I dug out grandma's silver and would have to polish and shine to prepare as part of my dinner preparations. Now, if someone is just stopping by for lunch, viola! I just reach in the drawer and bring out this most elegant flatware, it's a nice weight, substantially sized pieces that definitely don't look cheap. It certainly doesn't look like everyday flatware, I'm proud to put it on my table when I serve guests.

I ordered these without having seen them in person, and at first look, I was very pleased. The pattern is attractive and even a bit elegant, and I was not disappointed from that perspective. But then I picked them up. They are lightweight, thinner than I expected and the underside looks and feels cheap. I would have preferred a more solid handle... with these, the underside is somewhat concave and it doesn't feel as nice as others that are available for a similar price. On the plus side, they do feel balanced and nice to hold (if you ignore the underside), and as I mentioned, I like the pattern.

Don't let the attractive appearance fool you; these are lower-end basic utensils.

I haven't started to use this set, but I purchased it since I noticed forks from my other flatware were disappearing. I'm keeping these handy, when I need a complete set of everyday flatware; then I will see how durable they are.

I was looking at the specific details of my cookset on here (I purchased mine at Kohl's for $30 MORE than amazon, silly me) but I noticed only one review and that it had but a single star.

This must be remedied.

First off, know that I cook A LOT. I love to cook, my family has a history in the food industry, and I currently work at a very highly rated restaurant. I know food, and I know cookware. I go for top quality or I throw cookware out of the kitchen.

I've always had the issue of never finding true quality in non-stick cookware. Many wanted to go aluminum to heat more quickly, but this left pans warping and sliding about on the kitchen top. Though my biggest problem was finding durable non-stick surfaces.

Secondly, this is the MOST durable non-stick surface I have ever seen (I have tested over a dozen different companies including many competitors including but not limited to Calphalon). I test these by taking my trusty titanium spork with me everywhere I go. If it can't scratch it (95% of the time it scratches straight to the underlying metal), then nothing I do in the kitchen will.

Also, this set heats amazingly well. I never get overburning, though I will warn you that the center (red dot) does heat slightly faster (but not hotter) than the surrounding areas, so be aware to avoid it when pan-searing meats and such.

Lastly, I know that it is marketed as dishwasher safe (I'm more than certain it is), but I highly recommend not doing so. This goes for ALL non-stick cookware. It is a coated material and I don't understand why you would anyway...the MOST effort I've ever had to do was to run water over it with dawn and a brush for less than 30 seconds, then dry with a single paper towel...It's done. Why would you risk shortening the life of your cookware.

In conclusion, This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone. It's durable, well-weighted, and (in my house) has put out some of the most beautifully cooked culinary dishes ever eaten by a privileged wife =)

I love these pans!! They are very sturdy and have a lifetime warranty. I love that if someone uses metal utensils in them they will not scratch :) They are super easy to clean too! I bought a Wok to match!

Honest reviews on T-fal E918SC64 Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick Expert Interior

I have had this cookware for about a year and absolutely love it. It is the best cookware set I have ever used. We normally wash them by hand but I love that they can go in the dishwasher, unlike my MUCH more expensive Calphalon set. I would definitely recommend this cookware!

The T-fal anodized cookware has performed above expectations. I was somewhat leary to purchase higher end products from T-fal which has a name for lower priced products. However A friend alerted me to this set at a local dept store since they know I was looking. I found the Amazon price $110 including S&H as opposed to $150 (sale price normally $199) plus tax.

The great fun started the first time I used the small skillet to cook fluffy scrambled eggs. The eggs slid out of the skillet whole. All I used was some spray oil b4 the eggs. Next I used the sauce pan (with lid that fit) and made home-style green beans excellent. The large skillet is used to cook country and city breakfast ham with no sticking and even after it sat overnight, all I needed was to spray with warm water and it looked like new again. My favorite is the dutch oven for chili. It simmers great and the left overs are stored easily in the fridge and just a quick reheat for great chili left overs. The lid for the 3 qt sauce pan fits the small skillet. The only disappointment was the dutch oven lid was too small to fit the large skillet. I do have a lid from my old set that covers the new skillet, but only sets on top and not "fit" like the others.

What is the primary difference between this pan and a basic mini-bundt pan? The picture doesn't do the pan justice. Some of the pumpkins are a little narrower and taller and some are a bit squatty. There are leaves and tendrils embossed on the pumpkins -all differences from the standard mini-bundt pan.

You get what you pay for, and the quality of this pans is worth the money, and properly cared for, it will last a lifetime. For perfect unmolding every time -although the pan is non-stick, it needs to be properly prepared -and that is most easily accomplished by using either Wilton's cake release or a cooking spray designed for baking (one that contains flour.)

To ensure a perfect unmolding, let the cake cool upright for ten minutes after removing it from the oven before inverting it. Too soon and the cakes will be fragile and may fall apart, longer than 10 minutes and the cakes begin to adhere to the pan and may stick. And, as with all non-stick surface pans, never use metal utensils or harsh scouring pads on the pan.

Dense batters work best because coarse batters (lots of air and little fat) have lots of bubbles which reduce the amount of detail reflected in the finished cake. There are many recipes for pound cakes and bundt cakes that will work perfectly with this pan, along with the recipe included with the pan from Nordic Ware. Give the pan a good rap on the counter before putting it in the oven to release any trapped air bubbles. The cakes produced are intricate and highly detailed. It looks like much effort was expended. These pumpkin cakes will add a lovely touch to a Thanksgiving buffet or a Halloween themed party.

This is a beautiful, detailed mini bundt pan. Ordinary cake or muffins will become delightful eye candy that will impress your family and friends. The 12 little pumpkin shapes have subtle differences some tall and slender, some short and fat, and some with leaves and tendrils. They are adorable as is or can be decorated with icing for a more elegant presentation. The Nordic Ware Platinum Collection pans are top quality durable enough to become family heirlooms with a non-stick coating that actually works. As with any baking pan, to get best results spray with a non-stick baker's spray containing flour, like Baker's Joy. Do NOT use the regular Pam type sprays for baking or your results will be disappointing! With proper care this pan will be handed down to your grandchildren and perhaps great-grandchildren. I hope people will still bake at home by then! :D)

Best Deals for Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Pumpkin Patch Pan

The Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Pumpkin Patch Pan is on par with all the items in their platinum line. This is a heavy duty pan that will keep on delighting hard core bakers and new cooks alike. The baking results are uniform and the release excellent. Hand cleaning is recommended, but the nonstick surface makes this no problem. I am a convert to this line of decorative bake ware, and have begun to collect it. In short, this is good stuff.

Honest reviews on Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Pumpkin Patch Pan

I've only recently discovered that I have a "thing" for cute pans. So, I wound up with this one after I saw it in Williams Sonoma one day. Sure am glad I bought it! It was featured on the cover of the Southern Living fall magazine this year too and well, I HAD to have it! I used their receipe too and although I didn't like the cake part, the icing was wonderful! Anyway, this pan is a dream to use. You put it in the dishwasher when you're finished too and that's certainly a plus. The cakes come out whole, don't fall apart in the pan, and even include leaves on the ends so that you can make candied leaf patterns to place on top of the pumpkins. SOOO cute for Thanksgiving and fall in general. My only suggestion is that you need to gently tap the pan before you bake the pumpkins. Otherwise, you can wind up with air holes on the tops of the pumpkins. Great, great, SUPER cute product. Highly recommend!

Cheap Frieling Primo Teapot with Infuser, 34-ounce

Frieling Primo Teapot with Infuser, 34-ounce
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

Brilliant! We ordered this teapot on the basis of the amazon reviews, and it's the best teapot we've bought since we came to the USA. It's really thick, solid stainless steel and attractively shiny. Best of all, it pours superbly.

With so many teapots you have a choice: Either: a) Pour tea at the speed of a rheumatic snail... Or (b) pour tea into the cup quickly, and simultaneously flood the surrounding work surface. Grrrr..... But with this teapot, the spout actually works as it should! It pours quickly, smoothly and efficiently. (The resident engineer says it's something to do with the length and the angle...) Each member of the family independently noticed this and we all LOVE the teapot.

The filter is easily removed for use with teabags, and has a mesh that is fine enough for non-fortune-telling leaf tea.

My only complaint is that 34-ounce seems to be the largest size available and it's relatively small when the house is full of tea guzzlers. I really wish I could buy an additional "large-capacity" version!

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I was searching for an insulated stainless teapot because I want a sturdy pot I don't have to worry about breaking, and I like to make a pot of tea (at least a liter) and come back an hour later for the last cup. I researched on the internet and thought I had found my insulated pot, but alas it is not double walled like I thought it was. This being said, it does stay warm longer than my boyfriend's cast iron pot. It has a long skinny basket inside with a handle on the top. At times the basket is hard to clean, but because it hangs so deep in the pot, I could make a half a pot of tea if I wanted (who wants half a pot when a whole pot will do?). The spout pours very well, no drips, and I keep the heat in with a makeshift cork in the spout and a dish towel draped over the pot. This teapot has already traveled to a bed and breakfast for a nice cuppa in the morning, and am planning on taking it on another, longer trip later in the month. Just add tea and hot water!

Best Deals for Frieling Primo Teapot with Infuser, 34-ounce

So I got this pot because it looks awesome. I love the capacity and design. Before I started to use it, I put it in the dishwasher to clean it. It says dishwasher safe, so in it went. I then pulled it out and put some tea in it, a little hot water, and voila! A nice cuppa and I thought I was done. The next thing I know there is liquid leaking around the bottom of the pot. After a little inspection, I realize that there is a circumferential crack where the sides of the tea pot meet the bottom and tea is leaking out of it. It appears the seam wasn't really sealed at all. The pot is made in China, and so I don't know if it's really great quality. I'm not sure if I want to take my chances again.

Honest reviews on Frieling Primo Teapot with Infuser, 34-ounce

This teapot looks smaller than online when it arrives, but the quality of the pot is terrifice and justifies the price! The stainless steel is thick, sturdy, and well-brushed to a shine; and there are no awkward or ill-fitting areas of joining metal. The pot has a nice weight to it and clearly would pour well as other reviewers claim that it does. Seems to me that it ought to keep tea warm awhile, although I have yet to try it. The staineless steel insert has a very fine grillwork or net--better than in pots in many gourmet cookware stores. It ought to make for great brewing; and the same fine net or grillwork is in the area that pours, obviously to catch stray tea leaves.

Seems an excellent pot!--Addition to this review on Oct 20, 2011: I have tried the pot and it works fine and keeps tea very warm for at least 1-2 hours without a tea cosey. It does collect water inside such that if you wash it and rinse it and turn it upside down in a dish drying rack, some water will remain in the pot. You have to pour the water out through the pouring spout.

I have had a lot of ceramic teapots and have either cracked or broken them so after research my husband found this teapot and I LOVE it...you won't be disappointed as it is the best tea pot I have ever used. I plan to get one for my daughter as she loves to drink tea too.

We tried so many pressure cookers over the years as Indian Cooking demands heavy use of pressure cooking for making lentil soups and curries. We even tried few models from India but none could last more than a few years. Either they have problems with safety valves, handles, or they would become loose too often that requires tightenening of handles. If they last well, they were too bulky and takes almost forever to open and close the lid. Most annoying of all, they all make crazy sound that scares both my kids.

Kuhn Rikon pressure cookers sure have expensive prices but once you see them and feel them, you will find every reason to agree that they are well worth the price. This particular 2 set model is so lovely that my wife decided to get rid of most of her cookware as they both compliment each other so well. They can be used for almost everything we cook for our daily needs. The lids are interchangeable. This makes it so convenient to pressure cook veggies and lentils and then continue to use it with glass lid to make the final curry without having to transfer the cooked veggies and lentils to another cookware to make the curry. You can cook meat much faster and tastier without having to marinate for long.

The small one is so convenient if you have small babies and would like to feed them fresh boiled veggies, rice, or lentils. It saves lot of cooking time and the cook book that comes with it is wonderful. It gives you so many nice and simple receipes for everyone.

Couple of our guests got so impressed with this that they bought it right away from Amazon.com without waiting to get an incredible deal for it in their Amazon.com GoldBox like I did.

Excellent set, easy to use and will last beyond its ten year guarantee. I use the pressure frypan to cook macrobiotic rice or oatmeal. After 50 minutes of high pressure cooking, I get perfect brown rice or oatmeal(no sticking or burning). Once you know the stove setting required to maintain pressure, you can almost forget it. However, as with any cooking device, I monitor it periodically. The pressure pot and frypan have flat bottoms which makes food preparation and cleaning a breeze. The glass lid was a major selling point, as it enables conventional use of both pots.

My wife makes succulent turkey drumsticks in only eight minutes of cooking time.

None of the other brands, we previewed, appeared to be constructed as well as the Kuhn Rikon models.

Needless to say, our family considers this set a great value. More important,we use it almost daily.

Best Deals for Kuhn Rikon 6-Piece Duromatic Duo Pressure Cooker Set

I purchased the set for use on my boat where I wanted to save energy and time while preparing meals and have been using them for several months now.

I found the 5 liter pressure cooker to be great. It is extremely well made and if cared for I have no doubt that it will outlast me. The glass lid is also very useful if I want to use the cooker as a regular cooking pot, which I do quite often.

The 2 liter cooker is quite disappointing though. Since you are not supposed to fill a pressure cooker more than half full at best you only have 1 liter to work with. Even for one person this is not much. I have found that I can use the larger cooker and if I have smaller amounts to cook I just use a small metal bowl as an insert. I was hoping that it could double as a fry pan but it does not have a non-stick coating and the stainless steel is quite sticky.

If I were to do it again I would buy the 5 liter cooker and the glass lid separately.

Additional info: after having the fry pan for close to ten years the bottom is delaminating form the pan. I'm hoping I can get it replaced under the warranty before it runs out in a few months.

Honest reviews on Kuhn Rikon 6-Piece Duromatic Duo Pressure Cooker Set

I received a 5-liter Duromatic pressure cooker as a gift 7 years ago, and wondered, "What on earth will I do with it?" Now I use it almost every time I cook. It is well-constructed and lives up to every promise they advertise: fast, healthful cooking has never been easier. If you love beans, there's no better way to cook them--dinner's ready in half an hour or less. Steam vegetables in 1 minute, cook a whole chicken in 19 minutes,or make perfect risotto with NO stirring in under 10 minutes from start to finish! You can make wonderful puddings and cheesecakes, too, with a little practice.

I ordered the "Duo" set to get the glass lid and the smaller cooker. Though I didn't need another 5L, it is quite handy to have two (I use it without pressure for cooking pasta or some soups.) The smaller (2L)size is wonderful for quickly cooking cereals, small quantities for babies or kids, or side dishes.

The recipe book provided with this set is extremely helpful and detailed, so don't be put off by having to learn the cooking techniques (Note to Kuhn-Rikon: a video or CD-ROM would be wonderful! I received a marketing CD-ROM a few years ago but IMO it should be in the box.) It can be tricky to convert recipes, the book contains thorough charts with cooking times for most foods, and once you get the basics down you'll be ready to start experimenting with your favorites. If you would like to cook with more whole grains and beans, this is a must-have. If you want that slow-cooked tenderness, but not the boring taste of Crock Pot cooking, pressure cooking is for you. Unlike the Crock Pot, the PC allows you to start with a saute', use the pressure to speed up your cooking time, and then add more delicate ingredients at the end so they stay crisp and colorful. Also, on a hot day like today, I appreciate that the shorter cooking time uses less energy and doesn't heat up the kitchen!

At first I had a hard time finding good PC recipes, but lately there seem to be more cookbooks coming out as the PC seems to be enjoying a bit of a revival. I just ordered Rick Rodgers' "Pressure Cooking for Everyone" and am happy to see more recipes for "gourmet" foods as well as everyday meals.

My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that I wish they sold custom cooking inserts for puddings and cheesecakes. The standard method is to cover your springform pan with foil and make a "harness" from foil to lift your pan in and out. You end up wasting a lot of foil, and it is easy to accidentally dump your dish on the way out. It would be great if they made an insert with a lid and handles to make this easier.

It would be hard to find a more versatile cooking tool, and I'm newly in love with my Duromatic(s) again after receiving my new set. BTW, the 7-year-old set is still perfect, not even the gasket has worn out, although it looks a bit shabby compared to the new styling and shiny finish of the new set. I can't say enough good things about Kuhn-Rikon or Duromatic. Give it a try! Here's to healthier, faster cooking in your home!

When I decided I wanted to buy a pressure cooker I "shopped" here at Amazon.com. The reviews were a great help. The pressure lid works like magic. It's so quiet. I also like having the 2 pot sizes. The smaller one is great for quick-cooking grains and beans. The larger one is great for cooking larger quantities or larger items like corn on the cob. I just cooked up some rice for rice pudding. Only 5 minutes! A really nice product.

I got tired of burning my stocks with thin-walled junk pots and decided to do some research. This pot is a big improvement over the standard Cuisinart line of pots and pans and is on par with the better All-Clad pots and other high-end brands. The fit and finish on this unit is excellent and the lid fits like a glove. This is a true 3 layer walled pot... no welded discs to the bottom of the unit (like the bargain stock-pot in the All-Clad brand line-up). Compare the price of this pot with the 'real' 3-wall constructed pots and you'll see a 2-3x improvement in price. I've used this pot ~20 times since I purchased it (each time for multi-hour stock simmering) and it still looks like new. Highly recommended!

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I've cooked with, burned bone dry, and cleaned regular All-Clad almost daily for years so I am pretty familiar with its performance. I'm happy to report that this first Multiclad of mine performs similarly: boils quicker than regular pots with minimal hot spots, and cleans easily.

Instead of going cheap or being a complete All-Clad copy cat, Cuisinart decided to throw in some improvements:

Longer side and lid handles for cooler handling

Brushed finish on exterior that goes about 3/4 of the way up hides scuffs

Impeccable finish. Can't say the same for an All-Clad sauté pan which I payed full price for :(

Better quality stainless steel? Maybe I just got a good batch, but the luster seems to suggest higher chrome content

Great offering Cuisinart! Keep up the quality and continue to be cost competitive vs. All-Clad and I will be back to supplement my cookware collection with Multiclad individual pieces. And BTW, this 6 quart is indispensable if you are cooking for 3-4 people.

Best Deals for Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Saucepot with Cover

I have a number of pieces of Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless cookware and I really love each one. I only wish I learned of this cookware before buying an entire set of another brand. You can't beat this line of cookware for quality and performance at a reasonable price. Like most of the multiclad cookware, it is stainless steel on the outside and inside of the pot or pan with a layer of heat-conducting aluminum sandwiched in between for excellent heat conductivity all across the bottom and all the way up the sides of the vessel. I think the quality of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless cookware is on a par with the oh-so-pricey All Clad cookware. It heats quickly and evenly with no hot spots or scorching. You don't need to gun up your burners to their highest settings. With only medium-high heat, you can create beautifully browned meats, fish, caramelized onions, mushrooms, etc. Turn the heat low and create smooth, perfect bechemel or other sauces with no worry of scorching. This cookware will do it all just as well as All Clad and it won't break the bank. My only complaint about it is that the sauce and stock pots and the 3-quart saute pan are a little smaller than their claimed size. This 6-Quart Saucepot with Cover, for instance, only holds 5 1/2 quarts measured to the rim. But, if that 1/2 quart difference isn't a problem, then this is an excellent, highly usable and versatile pot for doing soups, stews, braising, cooking sauces, pasta or any number of cooking tasks. The handles are generously sized and firmly attached. The pot has a convenient curved pouring lip so hot liquids won't run down the outside of the pot when you are trying to pour pasta into a colander or bubbling hot soups into a serving bowl. The lid fits snugly onto the pot to help hold in moisture while simmering or braising. The pot can go right from the stove top into the oven because it is all stainless steel on the outside. I preheat my pans over medium heat for 3 minutes before adding cooking oil (and a little butter) and then I add the food to be browned. Clean-up is easy. Deglaze any stuck-on bits of food or let it soak with some water before washing in hot, sudsy water. Use some Bartenders Friend cleanser for stainless steel to keep these pans looking like knew.

Honest reviews on Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Saucepot with Cover

I'm a bargain hunter and I always look to buy the best quality I can afford for the lowest price I can find. In the February issue of "Cook's Illustrated", the America's Test Kitchen folk did an equipment review on Stock pots. They recommend a 12 quart size as being most universally useful, and that was what they tested. Unfortunately, the Cuisinart Multi-Clad wasn't one of those tested, but I think the results of what they did test speaks volumes. Their winner was All-Clad and I quote " . . . didn't have a single flaw except a price tag over $300". Their "Best Buy" was the Cuisinart Chef's Classic, and again I quote "Very similar to All-Clad except with a price tag well under $100". The Cuisinart Multi-Clad offers virtually the same features as All-Clad, with the aluminum core extending up the sides of the pot to provide more even heating, but like the Chef's Classic, with a price under $100. Getting top of the line features for mid-level pricing makes for a best buy in my opinion.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Saucepot with Cover

An outstanding piece of kitchen cookware. It looks and performs exactly like All Clad for about 1/4 the price. It cooks exceptionally well AT MUCH LOWER TEMPERATURES THAN YOU ARE ACCUSTOM TO. Because of the aluminum center/core, there is very uniform heat throughout the pot, including the sides. The handles can get hot (because they are close to the body of the pot) while boiling with a gas stove, but otherwise are non-hot pad cool.

Don't believe the reviews about hard to clean, food sticks etc. It is &*(%. In my opinion these reviewers don't know how to use the cookware properly. If you are brazing/browning, use a small shot of Pam (I have tried al types of oils, but this works best) and make sure that the temperature ~ 25% less than normal. Also, Bar Keepers Friend, as recommended in the users manual, is perfect for making the inner and outer surfaces shine. It is non-abrasive.

This pot is the perfect size for soups, large quantities of sauces, and roasts. It is more manageable than the 8 Q one that comes with the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro set. I use it more often than the larger pot.

Fantastic product and great value. I bought it for 1/2 price on Amazon in December 2006.

This was a good idea and it does work as described. However, as other reviewers noted, BE CAREFUL when removing it. It's hot and bubbles over. Even if you carefully remove it with the handles, you cannot prevent the spill-over.

I guess if you had it on a low boil rather than a rolling boil, it may be ok. Still, it's worth the money and does what it's supposed to. Just be careful when removing!

The canisters are beautiful to look at. The painting and designs go with my kitchen great. But they aren't at all practical. First off the lids are hollow in the shape of the lid design so when you wash them, water stays up under the lips and crevices. It takes a long time to make sure they are good and dry.

The seals are the worst problem. I put sugar in one and it is so clumped up that I have to break apart chunks to use it. It doesn't look appealing either. I have to put rice and bread in the canister just to combat that and it still doesn't work as well as I would wish.

The smallest canister seems to have to best lid seal of them all. I can actually hear the air his out when I push the lid on it. So my coffee stays reasonably fresh.

I would NOT recommend these for food storage because of the seals. If they fixed that, I would say this was a five star product. BUT since I got them to store flour, sugar and coffee...and they can't even do that... I would say they are not what I hoped. If you want these for decoration only or non food items, then you will be happy with them.

These canisters are beautiful and different. They are hand painted and have vivid colors. I have had a stainless set for years. I have decided to try something with color and easy to clean. I have updated my kitchen and these will look great on my granite counters. I got them alot cheaper than they are being sold now. Amazon does offer the best price.

Best Deals for Certified International Wine Cellar 4-Piece Canister Set

Bought this set for my wife for a present. She is redecorating the kitchen in a wine theme. While the canisters look nice, storing anything in them isn't practical. We put sugar in one of them and not even 2 days later it was already sticking together and clumpy. We live in a pretty dry climate, so I'd hate to see how bad this gets in a wet climate. If you're buying just for the looks, they are nice... But they don't seal well at all.

I would have given 5 stars except I wish the covers would close a little tighter.

They look much better than the picture. Very nice detail. I would recommend them to anyone, especially for this price.

This item part 50332 is the 3 piece weight set needed to convert a Presto 16 or 23 quart pressure canner from a gauged to a weighted canner. However the picture used here and the description are grossly inaccurate. This is a 3 piece weight set of 5-10-15 pound weights. 2 parts are rings (only one pictured) that slip on to the 3rd stemmed piece which sits on the steam valve. It is an excellent product for those who do alot of pressure canning. Too bad the photo and description are so misleading as they will only create confusion and cause lost sales.

I have the presto 23 qt. canner and was always busy fiddiling with the flame on the gas range to keep it on 10 psi as reccomended on a lot of recepies. as the 23 qt comes only with the 15 psi regulator. this one has 2 rings that each adds 5 psi you remove one ring and the canner will keep on the set psi. works well as you can see it on the dial of canner.

I ordered this part to use with my 23 qt canner, and it makes canning so much easier! No more getting the pressure gauge checked every year. No more standing and staring at a dial for hours. Just pop this piece on, with the proper number of rings for the weight I want, and when it starts jiggling I start timing. For less than $20,I have made canning 100% easier.

Honest reviews on Presto Pressure Canner Pressure Regulator

I honestly don't understand why Presto doesn't package this as standard with their pressure cookers and pressure canners instead of the fixed 15 pound weight. This weight lets me choose between 5 lb, 10 lb, and 15 lb. It is perfect for me. When I can tomatoes at 11 pounds, I use the 10 pound weight and it works perfectly. The pressure rises to 11 pounds and starts releasing. This way I don't have to be quite as diligent with my flame since it will exhaust the excess without generating excess pounds. BTW, I process/can tomatoes with a pressure canner instead of water bath because it's faster (uses less natural gas) and the pressure canner fits on the stove better than the big water bath pot, especially when I'm using the other burners.

If you have a Presto pressure cooker or pressure canner, you really need this. It's a shame they don't include it instead of the fixed weight that comes with their equipment.

Also, I should note that my Presto pressure canner has a port for the weight as well as the dial gauge. I recommend the canner with a gauge. That way, you can use the weight to regulate while also viewing the pressure so you know exactly what is going on. You are also able to tell that your gauge is calibrated or not based on how it reads with respect to the size weight you are using.

If you are buying a pressure canner, make sure you get the model with the gauge. It's only a few dollars more. Be careful, the model at WalMart may not have the gauge. I bought my canner on Amazon. It's a model 1755.

I am buying this product on the recommendation of the other reviewers who are saying that it *is* the 3 piece weight set I am looking for. I am hoping it is the right one, or I will get to review Amazon's return policy. I have not been dissatisfied yet.

ETA: It *is* the three piece gauge! Yeah!

This pot came with my set and I really had my doubts as to how it would work out. Well, it is fanatastic. Cooking spaghetti, lasagna, crabs legs a pure pleasure, everything fits perfectly. I make my soups in it and no matter what I cook NOTHING sticks. I recently made a sweet and sour brisket surrounded by stuffed cabbage and everything came out perfectly. To my surprise I didn't have to use 2 pots to cook everything. I truly don't know why people are having trouble but I've found that you have to use a much lower heat setting as the pot conducts the heat quickly.

I ordered a spaghetti pot like this from QVC in early January. Thinking ahead (for once) to get a nice Valentine's gift for my wife. The QVC ad said it might take several weeks for the order to be shipped. After three weeks and with no delivery, I started to worry about QVC not delivering the item. I contacted QVC and they said there was a problem with my credit card and they cancelled the order without contacting me. At that time it was too late to order one somewhere else, so our Valentine Day was ruined. The product seems good, in fact, I bought an entire set, without the spaghetti pot from someone else after Valentine's Day in an attempt to make up for the ruined day.

I have used the Waring PCJ218 juicer for the past 6 months. I juice on average 10 oranges each day. I can state without reservation that this is a good looking, well made, powerful juicer. How good is it? I have purchased 2 additional PCJ218 juicers as gifts. Do I know what I'm talking about? I design machinery for a living. Rarely do I find consumer products to be worthy of praise. This juicer is a real gem at a reasonable price.

There are two very important things a juicer should do. 1) extract all the juice and b)clean up easily. This juicer does both. The manufacturer calls it slow, but I saw it as very powerful. By the time I juiced my second lemon, I was a pro happily throwing out completely empty half lemon rinds. It costs a little more than some of the other models, but it's also built to last. I'll probably end up having to put it in my will.

Easy to use, easy to clean. Juices grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, and keylimes with no problems. I like it so much I bought one for my Dad for his 70th Birthday! 5 stars!

**

After having used this juicer for over a year (under heavy use 6 oranges a day) the reamer has started to slip and it makes a grinding noise. The downside of this juicer is that the center post is plastic and not metal. I'm still searching to find out if this post can be replaced. I have loved the juicer and am sorry to say that if you are a heavy juicer then try to get this on sale, if you are the occasional juicer then this will last you a lifetime. Current rating for heavy juicers 3 stars!

Honest reviews on Waring PCJ2 Citrus Juicer

I looked and looked for the right juicer. I was going to get one of those that you pull the bar down to press the juice out. I had ordered it and then learned that often the arm on it would break. What to do?! I was really wanting something that would be reliable and require the least amount of work as possible.

The Waring juicer was just what I wanted. it was actually less money than the citrus press was. It is super simple and yet it works fantastically.

There's no learning curve and the clean up is seconds.

You've got the juice capturing device and the part that actually extracts the juice to clean up and that's it. The rest is the stainless steel housing that is self contained.

It's fast, efficient and sturdy. This is no cheap machine. You don't have to worry about using a little force, if you want, though you really don't have to. I'm a strong guy and I put some serious pressure on mine and it doesn't balk at it.

Try it, you'll love it!

I own and wrote a glorious review of my Waring blender with stainless steel body which looks nearly identical to this, however, this product (listed as stainless steel) is fake! There is no metal in it. If you look carefully at the pictures, you can see it is exactly as the white one (which I assume is also plastic). They merely put a scratched mylar coating on the plastic. The other plastic pieces also seem flimsy and poorly made. The quality was much worse than my old, cheap $15 Braun juicer. The power of this unit is decent, but not so much that I think it qualifies for a $100 juicer. I would have given this a much better rating if it was half the price or if it really was made out of stainless steel. The "stainless" finish is fake and doesn't match my other stainless appliances.

I thought it was my imagination that the lid for the 5 qt. stock pot was sightly too big, however, my husband says it is. The lid is the same size as the 10" fry pan has. It's about 1/4 " too big and does not fit right. Would like to get the right lid. So check out the lids to make sure they fit right.

This pot does what it says it will do. I have an electric ceramic top stove and there is no way to regulate the heat for a long slow simmer. I have burned more things trying to do this. When I saw the ad for this pot and read the reviews I knew this was the one for me.

It works just as they said it would.

I made homemade catsup and that has to simmer and reduce and it takes quite a few hours to get it to the consistency that I like. It came out perfectly, no scorching at all, no burnt spots on the bottom of the pan and it was easy to clean.

One of the only real complaints that I read about was that the pot was heavy and it is, but I have a thirteen-and-a-half quart LeCreuset dutch oven that weighs a lot more that this pot and I can manage that just fine, so this pot didn't seem that bad too me.

I will be using this for chili and spaghetti sauce.

If I can find the twelve quart PauliPot I will buy that one as well, because it is such a great pot.

It took my husband a while to talk me into spending this much money for a pot, but I am sooooo glad I finally gave in. This is without a doubt the best money we ever spent. I use it for soups, spaghetti sauce, chili, sloppy joes, I love it love it love it.

Purchased this for myself in the summer 2012. Floored by how it lived up to reviews! Have had issues with "burning" sauces for 40 years and this pot turned that around. Loved it so much purchased one as a gift for son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. May sound expensive, but worth every single penny paid!! Highly recommend for all level cooks.

Honest reviews on The "Never Burn" Sauce Pot

Pot works great, but info from Chef's was never given. Will look elsewhere next time! Also, was VERY EXPENSIVE! Jury is out on worth it?

Oh goodness, this is worth every penny. I hated spending this much on one pot, BUT I recommend you GO FOR IT. Throw in your ingredients, put the burner on low heat, and then go do all the other stuff you have to do --THIS POT WILL NOT BURN THE CONTENTS....of course, I check it regularly, BUT no longer worry. It's heavy duty, high quality, and one of those BASIC ITEMS every cook needs in the kitchen.
