Isaac Mizrahi 6 qt Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Lid - Turquoise Review
In a word...."Awesome"! It cooks evenly and it's a beautiful piece of cookware that transitions from the stove or oven to the table easily. I strongly recommend this item as an addition or as a gift.

This product is unfit for its intended use. The first time I used it -to grill vegetables on a gas grill at lower than medium heat (two burners on medium, the third off) -the synthetic part of the "heat resistant" handle melted! Some of the melting "plastic" got all over the food. Even worse, when the entire mess cooled, it was virtually impossible to remove the small globs that had stuck to the body of grilling pan. There are very good products that serve this function. Stay away from this one.

The wok worked great until the handle melted and actually dripped on the grill. Look for a wok with a metal handle.Monday, November 3, 2014
Cheap Ecolution Artistry Eco-Friendly Saucepans
I've used it for several weeks and am very pleased with the quality of this pan. Non stick surface seems very durable. I'm especially happy with the outside surface. Some of the higher end pans I've had have a surface that "clouds" after repeated runs through the dishwasher. This one does not and still looks new. Very good quality, very good value.
I recently purchased the Ecolution Artistry 8-Piece Cookware Set, but I decided that I wanted an additional saucepan, so I picked up this 2-quart size in my local store. As with the other pots in this series, the performance of this pan is AMAZING--I have NEVER seen a non-stick pan do its job so well! Foods just slide around, with very little oil/other coating needed. (NOTE: As per the instructions, I did "season" this pot with a very light coat of cooking oil prior to first use.) Although all of the Artistry pots are dishwasher-safe, I prefer to hand-wash (to preserve the outer finish as well as the overall life of the pans). I could practically just rinse the pan or wipe it out with a paper towel, it is THAT non-stick.
I love the Ecolution Artistry line so much that I have replaced my entire cookware! In addition to the Cookware Set and the Griddle mentioned above (which was purchased about 6 months ago and has performed flawlessly), I also recently purchased the Ecolution Artistry Chicken Fryer.
I am extremely satisfied with this pan overall! I highly recommend the Ecolution Artistry series, both for their excellent non-stick performance as well as for their eco advantage.

I am a heavy duty cooker. I tried to save some money and purchased a cheaper pan just before this one. It did not last. They are standing up to me so far. I would recommend them as a moderately priced cookware choice that will stand up to heavy cooking.Best Deals for Ecolution Artistry Eco-Friendly Saucepans

I first discovered the Ecolution Artistry pans in my local grocery store. At that time, I was in need of a griddle pan, so I decided to purchase their Ecolution Artistry 11" Griddle. I was attracted to the eco-friendly non-stick coating on these pans--they use a water-based, Hydrolon non-stick coating rather than traditional Teflon/PFOAs--and I admit, I also loved the cute green flower pattern on the bottom! I wound up loving the griddle, so I was interested in purchasing other pans from the Ecolution Artistry line.I recently purchased the Ecolution Artistry 8-Piece Cookware Set, but I decided that I wanted an additional saucepan, so I picked up this 2-quart size in my local store. The pan appears to be warped so that the lid doesn't fit. I thought this was a good buy but should have spent more money. I have never purchased a pot where the lid didn't fit. The non stick part seems to work well, however. I don't want to take the time and expense of returning it so am using it 'as is' until I find another from a different company. I don't recommend buying it..Monday, October 20, 2014

Made of very thin stainless steel. It does look good. But the wistler does not work. It serves it's purpose, just wished it whistled. If that worked would give it one more star.

I was looking for a tea kettle that was affordable and red for my red kitchen, and when I came across this one I thought it was perfect. I liked the look of the stainless steel against the red. When it came and I opened the box I was amazed at how chic the kettle looked, I was very happy that I chose the stainless steel/red combo instead of a different completely red kettle. I followed the instructions for first time and continual uses, which I would recommend everyone should do. I used my old kettle to make tea almost every night. I used it immediately and it heated up quickly, whistled, and was everything I could expect in a nice kettle. Excellent bargain in my opinion if you would prefer not to spend $40 or $50 or more on a kettle.Best Deals for Magefesa 2.1-Quart Acacia Stainless Steel Tea Kettle, Red

Cheap Corning Vision Visions Amber 1.5 L Saucepan with Lid
I love Corning Visions cookware because it is very versatile. It can be used in all of the places in your kitchen you don't need to keep using extra dishes. They can be use on the stove top, in the oven, in the microwave, in the refrigerator or in the freezer. You can cook your meals in them and actually see them cooking in without having to open a lid to check. This is great because you can see all the way to the bottom to make sure the food is cooking evenly and not burning or scorching, etc..
And this cookware is so beautiful you can serve it in them, and then put any leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer right in the pot or pan!
This is because they are not just made out of glass, but a unique glass/ceramic mixture that is highly heat resistant. You can't do that with other glassware and you can't use metal pots in the microwave or oven.
Another awesome thing about them is that since they are glassware, you don't have to worry about metallic compounds leeching into your food like from metallic pots. Also, it never stains. And because it's glassware, it transmits the heat more efficiently, so you can cook at about 25 degrees less than you would in metal.
A neat and interesting fact: In the original commercial for Corning Visions, they took an aluminum saucepan and melted it in a Corning Visions Saucepan at over 1560 degrees F to show the incredible temperatures this cookware can withstand! Pretty awesome (though I wouldn't recommend trying this at home!) :)
Even though this glass is highly resistant to thermal shock, there exists a possibility that it can break or shatter if it is handled improperly. There are some simple things you can do to help make sure your Corning Visions last. Some of them are:
1). When you use a Visions pot/pan on the stove, make sure to place it
on the cold burner and turn on the burner don't put a cold
visions pot/pan on a hot burner. This allows the glass to expand
slowly as the burner heats-up instead of [too] rapidly.
2). When you use them in the oven, make sure you allow your oven to
preheat to the desired temperature first and then place it in the
oven. The reason for this is that the if you put the visions on
a rack that too close to the heating element, the potential for
thermal shock and damage to the glass exists.
3). When you take a Hot Visions pot/pan off of the stove or out of the
oven, place it on a dry towel or pot holders avoid placing it
directly on a cold surface like cold burners or the kitchen
counter this could cause the glass to contract too rapidly.
4). If you chip or crack a Visions item, you should not use it anymore.
A chip or crack is a weak spot and could break/expand when heated
and/or cooled.
** These are simple rules that make sense, and are not hard to follow. And once you get into these habits, it's completely second-nature.Why would anyone want to cook in a glass pot?!!!!! Got one as a gift years ago, put it on the gas with too little water in it, and it literally exploded into tiny shards that scattered all over me and the kitchen. I was fortunate not to have been scalded or injured by jagged glass chips. There was evidently not enough water in the pot to absorb the heat, and the glass expanded and shattered with a loud crack that scared the hell out of me! Do not use this line of "cookware" ! No serious cook would consider it. Google "Danger Vision Cookware", or "Exploding Vision Cookware"! You'll be afraid (and rightly so) to use this crap for anything more than to catch a drip from a leaky ceiling!

I came back from a trip to Italy in which I saw a chef on TV using fine tipped tongs and decided I had to have them.
I found these at a local kitchen shop that carries Rosle utensils.
These are in use daily in my home. They are by far the best for flipping bacon,
scallops, prawns, getting olives from jars, and that piece of shell out of the frying egg, etc. etc.
My husband now wants a pair of his own. We have also used them on several occasions in non-kitchen applications. i would recommend them to everyone, and have given them as gifts several times now.

Simple, effective, easy to clean, and grips thin food very securely. I like the lack of a lock. The good part is it doesn't lock when I least expect it. For storage I use a rubber band to keep it closed.Honest reviews on Rösle 12925 Fine Tongs
These are nice tongs and they seem to be well made, but I chose to buy them instead of a cheaper pair because these ones are "Designed and engineered in Germany". I took that to mean that they were made in Germany. These are in fact made in China. That shouldn't be too surprising, since almost everything is, but I think it's rather misleading for them to point out that they're "engineered in Germany" and not mention that they're made in China. So while these are nice tongs, there are cheaper alternatives which should work just as well.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Rösle 12925 Fine Tongs

Have only used it twice the tiny "cookbook" only has a few recipes, but I found more online. It's heavy and clumsy to set up consider getting the smaller one if you really don't need to make large quantities. Cooks much faster than I thought chicken in about an hour. I am being careful to warm it up slowly I have a ceramic, flat surface electric stove and it's worked just fine. This tagine is exactly what I wanted to cook for a crowd. There are smaller tagines out there, but if you want to cook for 6 or more people, this is the one you need. The flavor that this piece of cookware imparts on food is fantastic. Customer Ratings:
List Price: $69.99
Sale Price: $61.12
Today's Bonus: 13% Off

I purchased this 12 quart multi-pot because most multi-pots are just too small for a large family to cook pasta and vegetables at the same time. This pot is just the right size for us. We can make 2 lbs. of pasta in the bottom and steam vegetables in the top at the same time. The top basket holds a lot more than most multi-pots. You can cook a full meals worth of vegetables in the top basket since it is at least 3 1/2 inches deep. This pot can easily be a large families everyday pot. We use it for everything since we got it. We can cook the pasta in the stainer pot and just lift out the pasta to serve.
The best part about this pot is that it has the extra thick bottom so I can use it for making soups and stews without anything burning. The pot is tall and narrow so it fits on the stove well with other pots or pans and doesn't crowd out the other burners.
I love the attractive style of the pot. It doesn't have that cheap commercial look so many big pots have.

Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set, Orange Reviews
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $299.99
Sale Price: $249.99
Today's Bonus: 17% Off

I bought these five months ago. I spent hours and hours online shopping for a new set of pots and pans, reading hundreds of reviews, researching the benefits of hard adonizing over stainless steel and other aluminum products, and this was the set I finally chose. I couldn't be happier! I looked at everything out there; from the cheapest to the most expensive professional cookware there is. I compared Pampered Chef, Paula Deen, Emeril, Cuisinart, Kitchenaid, Le Creuset.....and more. I checked them all out!
My Criteria. Versatility I'm single so for the most part I use the smaller pans in the set. Because of that it was important to me to find a set that had lids that fit the smaller skillets. Most sets out there have lids for the pots, but nothing for the skillets. But I also wanted larger pans for when I do entertain.
Durability I've spent way too much money in the past on pans that bend if you drop them, can't stand up to high heat, or end up with non-stick that starts peeling off after a few uses. I was looking for durability.
Non-Stick I'm a cook, not a chef, and have never really like stainless steel, so it was weeded out of the selection choices early on. I do like cast iron and at first was dreamy eyed about very expensive enamel coated cast iron (Le Creuset), until several of the reviews reported their enamel was chipping into the food and they have had no luck collecting on the lifetime guarantee, and this stuff is expensive!
Price obviously I wanted the best bang for my buck. I'd have purchased a more expensive set if I thought the quality pay off was worth it.
So that was my criteria.....and this set fullfills it perfectly.
Durability Hard adonized It is twice as strong as stainless steel, and a fraction of the weight. I haven't dropped any on the floor yet, or taken a hammer to them, but they feel solid and have held up fantastic so far. The other choices didn't seem so great. Any of the enamel sets (including Rachel Ray) reported chipping and peeling enamel, some just from being put in the dishwasher a couple of times. The cheaper non-stick coatings were peeling off, and I've already mentioned the issue with the enamel cast iron. The real test of the hard adonized will reveal itself with time. I've used them in high eat, stuck them in the oven, cooked rice, eggs, mac & cheese, and it all slides right off the non-stick coating and haven't had even a scorch no matter how high the heat. I'm OCD about using the appropriate utensils for non-stick pans in order to avoid scratches or abrasions, but this non-stick coating is not the cheap crap that will eventually peel off. If you take care of it, it's going to last a while.
Versatility The lids from the pots fit the skillets! It is So awesome to have a lid for every pan! No more using a tiny lid in a big pan to cook my basted eggs; no more having the edges of a bigger lid dripping condensation onto a burner.....a lid for every pan!! The one question I was asking myself as I unpacked it was "where the heck am I going to put these?" Well, all the pots nest nicely within each other, with a paper towel between them to protect the finish, and the same goes for the skillets. The lids actually take up more space, but also store easily in a couple of stacks next to the pans.
So, there you have it. I'm really well-pleased with this cookware. I almost didn't buy it at first because I didn't want to get sucked into buying a set with a TV Chef's name attached. But I really did the research and was convinced this was perfect for me, and so far, I have been spot on!
Update: A few more months have gone by and I thought I should add a couple things. The set is still as great as my original review and I still love them.
A warning about putting them in the dishwasher. I don't know if it is recommended or not, but I thought I'd rather use the dishwasher even if it shortened the lifespan of the pans a bit. However, the soap residue did discolor the outside of the pan. I was able to scrub it off with an SOS pad, but then decided I love their color too much to run them through the dishwasher. They clean up so easily that it's not a big deal.
Also, someone commented about a cheap set that got burn marks on the bottom. These will get burn marks also. It's pretty much my fault as I've poured grease out of the pan and then put it back on the burner, and the grease that dripped down the side burned. It came off with some scrubbing, but there is still a mark there.
Regardless of these two issues, this set still is perfect for what I wanted and is performing in every way expected. Enjoy!

Enjoy!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pot set. I had just recently relocated from up north to down south and was in the market for a new pot set for my new home. I did alot of research and looking at reviews on many many websites. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing since my new home has a glass cooktop stove and many reviewers expressed concern about its use with a glass cooktop. Well i decided to give it a try and they are great. They clean up easily and cook well and evenly. When storing I place a paper towel in between all the pots so that they won't scratch each other. I even use them with high temperature and no problems with the pots or my cooktop. I cook at least twice a day so the pots get quite a lot of use and they still look brand new after four months of heavy use and constant washing. Great buy!!!!Best Deals for Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set, Orange
I have not purchased (for myself) cookware in 15 years and bought this set a year ago for my daughter and have been helping her out with her twin girls and using the cookware. I liked it so much that I purchased the 14 pc. set for myself. The best investment I have made in a long time.Honest reviews on Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set, Orange
I purchased these items and was very excited about getting them. I like the look and felt it would be a great addition to my kitchen. When I got them I really liked the look and was what I expected. That is where it stopped meeting my expectations. I read the warranty and directions and went over everything with my husband so that he knew how to use them. When storing them I even placed the cardboard under each pan as I stacked them so that they wouldn't scratch eachother. I wanted these to last a long time. But they didn't. I have only had them a month and the pans that I use end up with brown spots on the bottom of them. Then recently we were cooking turkey bacon in one of the pans and to this moment I still can't get the 1/4" of stuff of the pan. Everything in the pan stuck to it and I still am an unable to get it off. I wasn't even cooking it on hight heat like they tell you not to. When I called the warranty program it is just a phone number that you are not even able to reach a live person to discuss your issue. All they give is an address that you are suppose to pay to have it shipped to and they will review it for warranty. I feel that is a poor process. It would be nice to be able to actually speak to a live person first before having to pay for shipping across the county. I wouldn't recommend this product and would suggest buying something else. If the warranty process would be easier than it is, I would maybe suggest it as I may have had just a bad set. But with not having a great guaranty, I suggest another pan set.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Rachael Ray Hard Anodized Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set, Orange
I purchased the 14 pc Rachael Ray Hard Anodized set in December 2011 and was so excited about getting them. I really thought I had picked the perfect set of cookware. When I opened the box I was impressed with the look and feel and couldn't wait to use them. That's where the good review ends. The biggest problem I had with them is the warping. The large sauté pan sat flat on my glass top stove when cold. When heated to med or med-high the pan would warp and start to spin. I was browning breaded chicken breasts and touched the handle by mistake and the pan spun around almost spilling hot oil over the stove and me. I noticed it didn't sit flat on the stove anymore. When cooled, it sat flat again without problem. I called Amazon they said it was most likely a defect and sent out another set with free express shipping. The second set came two days later and I was so disappointed to find out that it did the same thing. The other problem I had with this set was much smaller and not a huge deal but figure it's worth mentioning. I noticed that the handles got very hot when on the stove. I was cooking pasta and had to use pot holders to pick up the pot to drain the water. I never had to do that before with any set I've ever had. The handles are supposed to stay cool to the touch but they didn't. I can't imagine having to use potholders every time I cooked anything on the stove top. I did some research online and found that warping was a common complaint for this cookware set. So, after speaking to the manufacturer and Amazon, I decided to order a different set. After more research I finally decided on the 12 pc Anolon Advanced Set. It's more expensive but had great reviews... sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Even though I'm a fan of Rachael Ray and love her show and have many of her cookbooks, I hate to say I would not recommend this set to anyone. I feel it's poorly made and bottom line it didn't meet expectations.Saturday, June 7, 2014
Discount Mastrad A68910 Silicone Square Steam Cooker 42 Ounce, Red
I filled this Orka steamer up to the top with broccoli, popped it in the microwave, and in four minutes I had perfectly steamed broccoli. Looked and tasted great. I buy broccoli in big warehouse-size bags. I often ended up with a too-big pot of overcooked bland unappetizing broccoli. Tonight, Wow! I am a believer! This little Orka is a wonderful time saver, AND a food saver if you previously tried to save time by cooking a big batch of something which quickly lost its appeal. All I had to go was rinse some broccoli, snip away the thick end stalks, pull off the smaller florets and drop them into my Orka, and in a matter of minutes I had the best-tasting broccoli. And, the bonus no saucepan and lid to wash. How much better does it get? Oh, I can't forget to praise the manufacturer for making this in my favorite bright red color.
Cooks without oil or water, but vegetables are tender and moist. Thanks for all reviews, they help!

I have several Orka silicone products and they have become some of my kitchen favorites! I especially like to microwave fresh fish and vegetables. Actually, everything I've microwaved in my Orka steam cookers has been moist and delicious, even without adding liquids. They are truly amazing. Orkas are especially wonderful for warming up leftovers. My single friends especially like them because they are perfect for preparing small quick meals. I particularly like this square steam cooker because the bottom is reinforced and doesn't bend as much as the others. If you purchase any of the Orka products, I can assure you that you won't regret it. I purchased several for Christmas gifts and know they will be very much appreciated.Best Deals for Mastrad A68910 Silicone Square Steam Cooker 42 Ounce, Red
Before I bought this Orka steamer I was using tons of the Ziplock brand steam bags from the store. I'm so glad I found this thing, definitely cuts down on the money and waste! I've used it for fresh broccoli, asparagus, and brussel sprouts to great results. You can add olive oil or butter and any seasonings you want before sticking it in the microwave. Pretty much anything you'd normally steam in a pot on the stove can be steamed in this within a fraction of the time it would normally take. The silicone makes it really easy to clean (and mine, despite the many dishwasher loads it has endured, still looks brand new). Highly recommended!Honest reviews on Mastrad A68910 Silicone Square Steam Cooker 42 Ounce, Red

I ordered this to replace my small veggie steamer but it's smaller than the one I was going to replace. But I ended up taking it to my office and I steam half a bag of frozen vegetables nearly every day to have with my lunch. It's perfect for that. But tried to put a whole bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower in and it wasn't large enough to hold that much. Beware, the size given is overall measurements not the inside dimensions. It's a wonderful steamer, just too small for most uses.Monday, May 26, 2014

I bought a fry pan for this from a different place, finding it $40 cheaper was the reason. problem is, the skillet does not come with this lid(why not!?!!?) so i had to buy it separatly. I was lucky that amazon had it. The lid is good, just like for other berndes cookware i own. Only downside is that the handle gets a little hot, so use a towel. But, the lid is mandatory for any fry pan. Just a shame, that they do not come together.

When I started using the 13-inch non-stick skillet from Berndes, it opened a new world of fat-free cooking--the best pan I'd ever owned. But sometimes, I needed to cover some dish I was cooking and the only thing I had large enough was a cookie sheet--it worked, but awkwardly. So I sent for this glass lid, and I now have the perfect combination. The lid fits the skillet to a T and functions by keeping moisture and heat inside the pan when that's what I require. The tempered glass seems rugged and hard to break or chip. I recommend this glass lid 100%.Best Deals for Berndes Tempered Glass Lid with Stainless Knob, 13-Inch
This is the perfect lid for our 12" Le Creuset skillet. It fits like a glove, looks great, and adds functionality to a skillet we use almost daily. Bonus It doesn't add a lot of weight to an already massive pan.Honest reviews on Berndes Tempered Glass Lid with Stainless Knob, 13-Inch

This lid fits perfectly on my pan. I like to see how my meal is progressing without removing the lid and thereby letting out the heat so I also like the glass. I would recommend this product.
