First off I wanted to say that I have had these pans for a few months. I had an initial reaction to them and I wanted to make sure I felt the same a few months later before providing a review. Here's my opinions:

THE GOOD The pans are VERY heavy and as such do an excellent job of heat retention and transmission. They are beautiful and heat through/cook very evenly. Easy to clean, even when things stick (see the bad).

THE BAD I have a lot of problems with things sticking to these pans. I find that as soon as the knob on my stove hits Medium, it's like turning on a "please stick to the pan" switch somewhere. Even cooking with no-stick sprays and oil doesn't prevent this.....at least not in my experience.

THE CONCLUSION I love the heat distribution on these pans and I think they cook very well, but the sticking issue really puts a bit of a damper on my feelings for them. I have since purchased 3 individual non-stick pans for use when I know sticking will ruin the food. All in all the price is decent, but don't make the mistake that these pans will resist sticking.

I love this cookware! I have always used "no stick" cookware and every year I seem to replace it no matter how expensive it is. I realized that all the major cooking channel chefs use stainless steel cookware so I decided to try it. I will never go back to the no stick cookware. This is nice and heavy and if something happens to stick on it I just heat a little water in it and it comes right off. This is a great buy for the money.

The cookware purchased was to be used everyday in our home, and we really use it. With a family of seven the cookware is used several times a day with everyone cooking at different times. The cookware we were used to using was from pampered chef, and let me say that I thought it was good until the coating started to come off in our food. While shopping for cookware, we went to the county fair and watched a presentation on health craft cookware. This cookware seem to be the best for waterless cookware until they revealed the price at the end of the demonstration. Who in the hell has 3500.00 to spend on a set of cookware, I sure don't. The cookware set we found on amazon has been wonderful. I would recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a great set of cookware. The only problem I have with it is, it's not made in the U.S.A.

Honest reviews on Chef's Secret 15-Piece Element Stainless-Steel Cookware Set

I have used waterless cookware all my adult life. I had Magnalite pots and pans for 50 years and decided that, for our 50th Anniversary, I would get some new ones. Magnalite is no longer available so I decided to try these. I have had a stainless pan before so I felt comfortable ordering these.

The first thing I cooked was frozen peas. I followed directions and the peas cooked perfectly but...the stainless pans stained! I tried another recipe...the pot roast...and made large stains that wouldn't go away with washing. Everything I cook leaves stains on the bottom of the pans. If I want nice pans again, I'll probably have to get stainless steel cleaner. I have followed their directions for washing and rinsing carefully so I don't know why they stain..... PLUS, the middle saucepan lid doesn't seal properly. BUMMER!

I had to rely on other purchasers' reviews before I decided to invest in this set. I'm glad I did. The price is right, but more importantly, this cookware will help me eat more vegetables. I cooked sweet potatoes as soon as I received the set, which turned out great. I burned the pot since it was my first try, but it was really easy to clean. All I had to do was boil some water with vinegar in it. Highly recommend anyone who wants to eat healthier for the new year.

I am extremely pleased with this product. I had a 1.5 cup chopper that worked ok for very small amounts of food, but things like a large bell pepper, cut into finger sized pieces, would get tangled up and not cycle through the blades. This 3 cup chopped fits a lot more stuff in it's bowl, and so far, has worked perfectly for me. It is much easier to clean than a full sized food processor, and takes up a lot less space. Ideal for making small batches of guacamole, salsa, soup, stir fry, ect. It's noisier than my full sized food processor, but quieter than the cheapp 1.5 cup chopper I bought.

Buyer beware and take a very close look at the shape of this chopper. The blades are very small and the cylinger is much too tall. Hence, you get minced product in the bottom area and large chunks on top. I have to shake it to try and get even chopping, but it still doesn't help. I will need to find another with wider blades and better bowl to get the even cuts I like. It may work okay if you are doing 1/2 cup, but you may as well do it by hand if that's all you need.

I love this 3 cup food processor! I use this for my everyday family meal cooking. Very helpful in chopping carrots in small bits. I always add carrots or any vegetable to ground meats so that I can sneak some vegetables to my kid's meals. This chopper do a good job in chopping carrots that my kids dont even notice the veggy in their meatballs, burger, spaghettie sauce, etc... To get better results, I chop the carrots first into cubes and then toss them in this chopper and I do shake the chopper to get better results because it does not do a good job when you dont shake them. For the price of this chopper, I dont have complains and dont mind at all preping the carrots and shaking the chopper because I hate manually chopping hard raw carrots into tiny bits, it is very tedious and dangerous! I do have the very much expensive and 'state of the art' cuisineart food processor which I use very rarely because it takes a lot of time to set-up and clean afterwards. So for everyday-family meal-chopping chores, I will definitely recommend this. It's cheap, convenient, and very useful.

I tried using this once to chop bell peppers and celery and it turn into a juicy salsa, so not recommended if your NOT making salsa. But if you want salsa, this machine is great! My sister makes salsa and shrimp cocktails all the time and she uses this chopper all the time.

So definitely recommended. By the way, I had mine for three years already and it is still working!

Honest reviews on Hamilton Beach 72600 Food Chopper

I can't believe I wasted $20. As another reviewer remarked, the tower is far too tall. My onion is liquefied on the bottom and there are two huge chunks on the top. That was after I already cut it to one inch cubes.

I had an Oster blender with the chopper attachment and was heartbroken when it wore out. I'll be ordering another of those now.

Not impressed:

I bought this chopper to replace my B&D 2 speed that I had for 5 years. (the bottom of the container broke) I read good reviews on the Food Chopper and decided to purchase. The first time I used the product it turned my veggies into mush. I tried again on a slower speed and again soup. I tried small bursts of slow speed and still all squishy. I tried small bursts of fast and again mush. I tried different foods as well and it just didn't chop. I read the instructions, just in case operationn of a small chopper has changed in 20 years.

My B&D chopper would only turn the food into soup/mush if I made it that way by keeping the highest speed on for several minutes. It always chopped the food evenly too. Unfortunately, B&D doesn't make that model any more. I would not recommend this to anyone I know.

Unfortunately I waited to long to return the item (32 days) so I am stuck with the "soup-maker".

This pot is AWESOME! Especially for the price. It is the perfect size height wise for any stove with any hood, even a low one. I have had an aluminum tall 40 qt for nearly 15 years, and paid more for that back then and the lid was EXTRA. But this pot is a Dream. You can stir the contents without having to take it off the burner, the contruction is exquisite, beautifully heat conductive, and cleanup is a BREEZE, Unlike my previous pot which you could not leave anything in it overnight to cool else the thing would Pock and ruin it, BUT THIS POT ROCKS! I could not be HAPPIER!!!

This is a quality LARGE pot. It fits over two burners on our Kenmore Gas range which is nice so that I can run two burners on medium.

This has a THICK heavy bottom which really helps prevent scorching. We had 30 quarts of tomato juice simmering in this pot for 9 hours as we boiled it down and thickened it for homemade spaghetti sauce. This pot worked wonderfully for that and didn't scorch over the burners like thin bottomed pots do.

The handles seem sturdy, though I don't know that I would want to move this if it was full. I'm sure the handles would be fine, but the pot is so large that it would very heavy and be awkward to carry if the weight caused you to have to carry down near your legs.

For cleaning, as this will not fit in most sinks, we took it outside after scrubbing with soap and a srcubby in the counter and used the hose to clean it out and rinse it off. Seemed to work fine.

We also boiled a turkey in this pot. A 22lb turkey fit just about right though I'm sure a larger one would fit just fine too, we shredded and canned the turkey meat as well as the broth. If you were going to boil chickens I would imagine you could get about 10 in the pot.

I took off one star as out pot was slightly damaged during shipping, it seems that the pot is now oblong shaped instead of round and the lid doesn't fit very well anymore. In fact, when we first got it it wouldn't fit at all. I put my arms around the pot and squeezed and stretched the inside edges with my hands to get the lid to fit. It fits now but is VERY tight at two points, and loose at two others due to the slight oval shaping. The shipping box was in fine condition though, so its possible the pot just came this way with no shipping damage? Anyways thats the explination for 4 stars. I'm sure amazon would have taken it back but I didn't have the time to wait as the tomatos were on and being juiced when I purchased and I don't feel right sending back a used pot.

Honest reviews on New Professional Commercial Grade 40 QT (Quart) Heavy Gauge

We needed a pot big enough to serve soup to 60-65 people for an event. This pot did the trick beautifully. We served an organic chicken chili to 60, and had a couple of gallons left over. Thankfully, the pot even fit into our sink at our farm where the event was held, so we were able to wash it in hot water. I was a little concerned that our gas stove would have a hard time heating the enormous contents of this pan to a boil. It did take a LONG time to get hot once we put the chicken broth in there, but once it got hot it did not take much heat to keep it there. We had to purchase a new soup ladle that was long enough to reach to the bottom. This one worked well and reached all the way to the bottom of the pot: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005AL7F/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00. All in all, very happy with this purchase. We did not try to lift it off the stove when full, and I think that would be an enormous challenge -keep in mind, this is a 10 gallon pot! Tremendously heavy even with a couple of gallons of soup left--it took 2 of us to pour the remaining soup into a smaller container.

I purchased for brewing all-grain beer, 5-gal batches. The kettle is a quality kettle for the price and beats price and quality of similar kettles sold through some of the major homebrew suppliers. Obviously for this price this pot doesn't have a ball-valve, for about $60 (in my community) I can get one put on, and I need to. Shipping was super fast, and delivered sooner than Amazon said it would be.

This is heavy, solid, and BIG. Lightly ridged sides keep food out of the oil. It's sturdy, well-made, generously sized -this is a real treat to cook with.

This is a rounded bottom wok. It's best used for cooking on a gas range. If you cook on electric, you'll want the flat-bottomed wok. It also needs to be "seasoned" they way you would season cast iron. If you do that, you will end up with a cook surface that cleans up beautifully. However, you do have to be aware of this when you scrub it clean don't use anything too abrasive or you'll have to re-season it.

I have been nothing but pleased with the performance of this pan. It heats up well, cooks beautifully, and the seasoning has made it lightly non-stick (just like with cast iron) and so cleaning up isn't a major chore. I heartily recommend this wok for anyone cooking over gas. I love mine, and I think you will love it, too.

I want to start out by saying that I've owned this wok for about 6 months now and it is still serving me well. There are also no issues with the metal or the cooking surface in general when properly seasoned.

My biggest complaint about this wok, is not about the wok, but those horrible seasoning instructions that is comes with! DO NOT FOLLOW THE SEASONING INSTRUCTIONS! THE PROCESS IT DESCRIBES IS NOT THE TRADITIONAL WAY OF SEASONING A WOK! Needles to say that process did not work for me. There are many instructional videos on how to season a carbon steel wok on YouTube. Do your research! There are many ways of seasoning, but none of them look like the instructions on the sheet!

The way I seasoned my wok:

1. I scrubbed the inside and out side of the pan with soap and an abrasive sponge to remove any leftover oils from manufacturing. ( this should be the only time you ever use soap in a wok without a non-stick coating! )

2. I boiled a good amount of water in the pan, like the instructions said, to help lift the oils left on the pan from manufacture and any leftover soap. (you don't really have to do this, but I did to be safe.)

3. Put the wok over medium to high heat until the center turns a dark metallic blue color. Once the center of the pan has turned completely blue ( I believe it take like 5 to 10 mins ) tilt the pan on its Side and allow its side to turn a dark blue color as well. Keep rotating the pan until the whole thing is dark metallic blue.

4. After the pan has changed color it should be ready to use. However, I didn't trust this. For a last measure of seasoning, you should stir fry a bundle of chives and sliced ginger until completely burnt. Using your spatula rub the chives and ginger on the sides as your frying. This helps to establish a patina on your wok, which will grow stronger the more it is used.

5. Enjoy.

Please do your own research into seasoning carbon steel woks. I have just posted my method for reference!

Otherwise this is an excellent wok! And has defiantly cooked some good meals! :)

Best Deals for Joyce Chen 20-1140, Pro-Chef 14-Inch Round Bottom Wok with Wood

I purchased this round bottom wok years ago and fell into disatisfaction after using it a few times, having problems with sticking food and minor rust problems I put it in storage. More recently after seeing a video on wok seasoning and care I brought my wok back into service. I learned that proper seasoning and maintenance is actually easy when you incorporate it into your cooking experience. While I wish I had a gas cooktop I still prefer the round bottom because the wok ring allows you to set the height and gimble the heat to where you want it. I've been making some of the tastiest meals I've ever cooked in this wok, and rust is a thing of the past. Do all your food prep before heating the wok because you will be cooking fast. The cleanup is simple. Just run some hot water into it and a quick scrub with a stiff bristle brush and dry.

If you really want to see the round bottom wok cook the way it was invented for, you can lay it in the bed of a wood or charcoal fire. It makes backyard parties and camping trips really taste good.

Proper seasoning is going to make lots of smoke the first time, so be ready for that. Also be aware that the hot oil vapors can flash fire, so be careful. My wok is now a primary cooking implement and I've purchased the ladle and spatula to make it easier and faster to cook with. I rarely buy chinese takeout anymore because I cook it my way now. The wok is also great for reheating stir fried leftovers. The wok now has a nice blackened color to it and is frequently a conversation starter.

Wok cooking is an art form and needs to be practiced to make perfect, but "perfect" comes in many levels and stages. So begin with proper seasoning and be adventurous and experience foods in a beautifully delicious way.

Honest reviews on Joyce Chen 20-1140, Pro-Chef 14-Inch Round Bottom Wok with Wood

After doing a bunch of research I've found that carbon-steel, round bottom is the way to go and I was not disappointed. The carbon-steel heats up very quickly and although it may not hold the heat like that of a cast iron, isn't the point to have the nice hot center for cooking anyways? There have been some issues with others about the handle and here is whats going on:

When you receive the wok it comes in three parts: the bowl, the handle, and a threaded rod for attaching the handle to the bowl. If you look on the bowl where the handle attaches you will see two little "wings", if you will, that look like a stop block to keep the handle from going all the way down to the bowl when screwing down the threaded rod. That is only partially right. If you stop there the handle will indeed rotate freely. I however continued on and as I kept tightening it down the wings embeded themselves into the wood of the handle thus preventing the handle from turning. The wood is fairly soft so no more than hand turning should be needed. However I discovered this when trying to season it and the heat very potentially softened it some.

In short if you attach the handle correctly you should have yourself a really great cookware which will serve for many years.

Lastly others haven't mentioned sesame oil for seasoning but I used it to add a little bit more to my seasoning and it worked great. Just don't let it pool and cook on that way. Otherwise while cooking it will come off leaving an unseasoned spot on your wok.

Juat a "heads-up" for those of you looking for a nice Round Bottom Wok. This wok is listed as "round bottom", so I ordered one for use on my gas top stove. I specifically wanted a round bottom wok as I not only believe they cook more evenly, but I have a wok ring to use with it. Amazon suggested I buy a wok ring to go with this wok. When it came, it was FLAT BOTTOM! I was so disappointed, but ordered another (which shipped very quickly, thank you Amazon) and the second one was ALSO FLAT BOTTOM! I returned it, too. I am taking a break from the order-and-return cycle, but hope to shop again here with Amazon. I just won't order the Joyce Chen Round Bottom Wok...although the quality looks superb.

Great quality. The lid has been dropped and no problem, in like new shape.

Delivery was quick.

My only problem is it's a little big. Has to be balanced to get any kind of a seal. It doesn't sit in the lip of my "Concord 8" Eco Friendly Ceramic Coated Fry Pan" that I purchased on Amazon.

I was super excited to get these pans for my wedding. The joy was soon out lived by paint chipping off and looking terrible. The non stick is ok but i expected a higher quality coming from Rachael Ray. I loved that they were orange and wanted to have them hanging in my kitchen when not in use. Now im just embarassed to say that i have them.

Would not want anyone to buy this!!!!

Only drawbacks are you can't put them in the dishwasher and the insulated handles still can get pretty warm on the bigger pots. For the price these pots and pans are a great bargain! I would definitley recommend them to anyone who would like a nice basic pots and pans set without spending a fortune.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I don't know why, but I was fascinated by the idea of the Circulon Frittata Pan and simply had to have it. It's not like a frittata pan is a kitchen essential. I've lived my whole life without experiencing the joys of a specialized pan for eggs. But as an American consumer, I love unnecessary gadgets as much as the next person. I don't mean to downgrade this Circulon pan because, in at least one major way, it exceeded my expectations. As the two halves of the pan are detachable, they can be used independently as 9" skillets. So even if you aren't whipping up the perfect omelet, you can still get daily use from this set. In truth, I'll probably use the two parts separately more often than I use them as they were intended.

Pros:

Detachable pans (as previously mentioned)

Sturdy Construction

Quality Non-Stick Surface

Oven safe to 400 degrees

Cons:

User error still applies. Okay, this might not be the pan's fault. In truth, though, I'd have hoped to make the flipping motion more seamless. You can still make quite a mess if you're not at the top of your cooking game. As I've practiced with various dishes, I've definitely seen an improvement in my performance. Just realize that you can still make a mess (and not a lovely showcase of an egg dish) if you aren't a skilled flipper technician.

Still, though, if you've got to have a frittata pan--this seems to fulfill all the major requirements. So as a practical device that does exactly what it should, it's a solid recommendation. KGHarris, 1/13.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've always liked egg dishes, so I was pleased to be able to order this interesting stove top concept. I find it to be a bit difficult to use, easy to clean, but with some quality issues.

Design:

A frittata is classically made by beginning the cooking on the stove, then transferring the pan to the oven to cook completely. This set uses a bottom and top pan (essentially two pans) which interlock at one end. The idea is to start the cooking, attach the second pan via a special locking handle on the side opposite the holding handle, and flip, causing the frittata to cook without the oven. The pans have a sturdy handle that does a good job of keeping cool, and a non-stick coating that is rated for metal utensils (one does not have to use plastic). It did not seem to have any trouble with nonstick and metal utensils. This is not really surprising, since the top pan has to touch the bottom pan; so having a "platic required" coating would not have worked.

Recipe:

It took a lot of tries to get a decent frittata out (they tended to be underdone due to not enough care with step 7 below). There is only a tiny print recipe included, so I'll repeat what worked for me here.

1. Assemble the vegetables and anything else you want to sauté. I also like to use a little cheese.

2. Beat 5 eggs or so together.

3. Heat both pans on medium heat, using two burners on the stove.

4. Place butter or other oil/grease in the deeper pan. This will be used for cooking the vegetables.

5. Place a small amount of butter or oil in the second pan.

6. Cook the vegetables until they are tender. You can season them at this point, or later.

7. Once the vegetables are cooked, pour in about 3/4 of the eggs.

8. As the eggs get more cooked, uses a spatula to raise the edges of the eggs to allow uncooked eggs to go underneath. This step is critical, or the dish won't get cooked through. It usually takes about 4 minutes for this step.

9. Once the eggs are pretty well cooked (just a little runny on top), add the cheese. Then pour the remainder of the eggs over the cheese and blend it together (so the cheese doesn't burn when flipped).

10. Remove the shallower pan from its burner, fit it into the interlocking end of the bottom pan, and carefully but rapidly flip it over. Shake the pan a bit after flipping to ensure everything settles. It will get a bit of egg out of the sides of the pan, but not much. I found it less messy to simply hold both handles together, rather than trying to flip with a hand on either side of the combined pans.

11. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes. At this point everything should be ready to go!

Construction:

While the pans seem sturdy, one of the two sets I received had a loose handle on the side that interlocks the two pans together. It is supposed to be permanently fixed, so I can't just screw it in. Hopefully it will work, but having one out of two with a problem like this causes me to reduce the score to 4 stars.

Cleaning:

Very simple. The nonstick really works.

Summary:

A bit messy, but it works once you get the hang of it. Hopefully my second set was a rare problem in construction. Recommended.

Best Deals for Circulon Contempo Hard Anodized Nonstick 9-Inch Frittata

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is marketed as a Frittata Set, so I'll address that first. A regular frittata starts in a skillet and finishes in the oven. It's sort of a thick, puffy baked omelet. This set allows you to make a frittata completely on the stovetop: you cook the eggs and filling in the larger skillet, then lock the other (preheated) skillet on top and flip the whole thing, to allow the frittata to finish cooking stovetop. I don't really see the point in this. For one thing, how often do people make frittatas? As a Mom, I regularly cook weekend breakfast for a passel of teenaged boys, and I make a frittata maybe once a year. Secondly, I'm not sure that flipping it stovetop is any easier than baking it in the oven. So this pitch is gimmicky to me. (Somewhat of note: Some reviewers state that they used the flipping interlocking pans to make omelets. I guess it's splitting hairs, but from my perspective, omelets by definition are folded over their ingredients, frittatas are open faced -and so if you're flipping your mixture of eggs and filling it's more a frittata. Potato-Potahto.)

But as skillets, this set is very nice. It's 2 nonstick Circulon skillets (one slightly larger). I had Circulon when it first came out, about 20 years ago, and it has evolved this surface is much better. (The grooves are much smaller.) These pans are a handy size for smaller kitchen needs (you could do an omelet in one). I use them for things like sauteeing tomatoes for bruschetta, cooking up shrimp for pasta and shrimpthey're great for those 'smaller burner' jobs that you need to do while using the big burners for the main course. They're also good for grilled cheese, fried eggs, etc. They have an even heat conductivity and they're easy to clean. I like the helper handles and I love that they are safe for metal utensils. They're very handy pans.

PROS:

+ 2 pans

+ Handy size for small to medium jobs

+ Non stick

+ Easy clean

+ Helper handles

+ Safe for metal utensils

+ If you feel it's important, you can in fact interlock them and flip eggs over to cook a frittata stovetop

CONS:

Metal parts of the handles get hot

How often do you make a frittata anyway?

BOTTOM LINE: Frittata or not, these are nice pans to have at hand.

Honest reviews on Circulon Contempo Hard Anodized Nonstick 9-Inch Frittata

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I jumped at the chance to get this because I am a huge lover of egg dishes; they're not just for breakfast for me. When I got this, there were several things I immediately liked:

-The pans were well made. Everything was tight and well designed. The handle grips were comfortable, everything looked solid.

-I loved how they could be used independently.

After using them five times, I've discovered that no matter how hard I try, there's always leakage when I flip. I've tried varying my flipping technique, and my husband has tried as well but we haven't been able to accomplish it. When making multiple frittatas, my stove top looks a mess but the frittatas themselves look lovely and taste delicious.

The pans need to be hand washed but they clean up very easily, both the interior and exterior. Overall, they do help but I just wish these pans really did "tightly seal in ingredients" like the advertising claims.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This set of skillets is nice. I like the fact that there are handles on both ends. I have used these so far to make omelettes, eggs, and crepes. The non-stick surface performs well, but make sure that the pan is pre-warmed before adding eggs, batter, etc. (not really different than most other pans that way). At least the non-stick surface works better that way. I also REALLY like that you can use metal utensils with these skillets without damaging the non-stick surfaces.

I have to admit that I was worried that the small concentric grooves on the cooking surface of these skillets might be a food trap, but that didn't happen.

The skillets work really well for smaller jobs like omelettes or 1-3 eggs, but they are just a bit too small for bigger jobs, like making crepes. Of course, they weren't made for that, but I wanted to try using them for a variety of things before I submitted my review. I guess what I'm saying is that they are excellent for what they were designed to do, but they are not large enough to be full-sized frying pans.

All in all, I found them to be well constructed, and that they work well for their intended purpose. I will give them 5 stars, but, frankly, I wish that at least one of them was a bit larger. So it's a weak 5-star rating.

I hope this review was helpful to you. Happy New Year!

Made in China!!!

Since this was Lodge and the cast iron pans are made in the USA, I expected the glass lids to be made in the USA too. I was wrong, the lids are made in China. I wish the lids were made in the USA too ...

Other than that, I love the lid ... fits my 10 1/2" square grill pan perfectly and easy to clean. I love that I can see through the lids without having to take them off to check on the food. The glass does steam up, but I can still watch the food cooking.

Stainless Steel Rim

Oven Safe to 400F

Dishwasher Safe

Tempered Glass Cover

Great addition for the pan.

It's the only good lid I found to fit the square pan I bought from them. The lid ended up costing me more than the pan which I thought was ridiculous. It's a nice lid... but again, it's just a lid.

Risotto is not my thing, but this beautiful pan works perfectly as a medium-size dutch oven. We made a brisket in it a couple of months ago and it did a stellar job; it also works well for beans. Easy to clean, gorgeous to look at, and (through Amazon) a fabulous price.

The pans are wonderful. Heavy and even in cooking. The lids are horrendous. They have rust forming on the stainless steel and there is water sloshing around in the area between the glass and the stainless ring. Only had them for a couple of months. Contacted Chantal and they said they had never heard of this before. Although I have read other reviews that say the same thing. Now I am supposed to send all the lids back and they will supposedly send me new ones. Meanwhile..... The offer to replace them came after my third contact. Not worth the $$ or the hassle.

Well, its a bucket lid, what I ordered, came on time and made the bucket complete. Not sure why it doesn't come with the bucket, but that's life.

As another reviewer states, yup, this is indeed a lid. As to the question of why it didn't come with the bucket, well, sometimes you need a lid for your bucket, sometimes you don't. I like that the manufacturer/distributors gives consumers a choice.

The reason I do not give it five stars is because the first two or three times DH and I tried to put on and remove the lid from the matching bucket, it required a Herculean effort. It still takes a bit of force to get it off and put it back on about a dozen openings and closings later, but I guess it wouldn't be as "leaktite" if it were any looser.

This thing is way too thin. I've got some heavy gage aluminum pots and was hopeful that his would be similar. Unfortunately not.

I did not even use it and sent it back. I've never sent anything back to Amazon before, so that's an indication of my feelings about it.

No kitchen is complete without this! This a GREAT pan for grilled cheese, bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc. It is extremely lightweight, washes easily, is truly non-stick, but don't *ever* use a knife on this (or any non-stick pan) because it will scratch easily. I would give this product five stars only if the Teflon material were thicker.

The title of this item led me to believe that these are wooden spoons with silicone handles. Not so. They are painted. They are really pretty, but I wasn't looking to add another "hand wash only" item to my kitchen. They look nice, but more as a craft project than something to spend extra money on.

they look great in the photo but do not hold up in real life however they do spoon and spatula quite well. if you just need basic utensils this will be worth the 10 dollars
