This wine rack is a very beautiful fixture to have on your bar or kitchen counter. You have to be careful when placing larger wine bottles on the rack because they seem to slide forward. I needed a smaller wine rack to fill a small space, with just a bit of flair, but not too "girly". It was actually a present for my nephew's 21st birthday. I picked it out because he wanted something decorative, but just enough to hold a few bottles in his small, cramped apartment. He has nearly NO counter top space in the kitchen or dining area, so this was perfect. He received it in just a few days and loved it.It is made of heavy steel construction and hold three bottles nicely. Once loaded with bottles, it sits no taller than a bottle of wine itself, is approx. one bottle wide and one bottle deep. So, it will go nearly anywhere he has a small place to set it.
