So who ever heard of "Creative Home"? That made me hesitate, but after reading critical reviews of the well known brand names, I decided to take a chance on what appeared to be a good item, at least by description and photos. I'm glad I did. This kettle is well made, attractive, intelligently designed and functions perfectly.

The bottom is seamless, eliminating leaks and rusts from that source. The inside is lined to further protect against rusting. The cap is large, well constructed and fits very tightly. The handle is adequately insulated and very "grippy". The spout button is in the handle. Simply squeeze with your index finger and it remains open. Press the top button with your thumb and it snaps closed. No stretching or sliding of your fingers. It is the best and easiest I have ever owned. The size of your hand will not be an issue.

One note: 2 quarts is all you can safely fill it with. I measured it. That fills it to the ideal, just below the spout seam.

After burning out several kettles over the years, I was looking for a good quality whistling model. Although I'd never heard of this brand, it seemed to be just what i was looking for, so i decided to take a chance. I shoud have listened to my instincts. it's an OK kettle, sort of. Water boils in a reasonable time and it pours without dripping. However, the cap that makes the whistling sound is crooked and doesn't fit tightly against the spout, so there's no whistling sound. It's more like a pitiful little whimper, so quiet that you can hear it ony if you're very near the kettle. That ws a big disappointment. Clearly the spout lid is badly made. We tried to bend and wiggle it to make it fit snuggly against the spout, but no success. Overall, the kettle looks cheap (I seriously doubt the claim of "quality stainless steel") and has a darker inside coating that is not smooth and makes the kettle look discolored. The lid is hard to remove for filling. Also, this kettle can't go in the dishwasher. All in all I am totally dissatisfied with this kettle and will have to buy something else. My advice: don't waste your money. It's cheap looking and badly made.

This is my second Rachel Ray fry pan and I love them. Totally non stick. Squirt in a little dish soap, add hot water, swish it around and it's clean. I don't put mine in the dish washer because they're so easy to clean by hand. I was a little disappointed to see that the top rim measures 10'' and the bottom is a lot smaller but I love it anyway.

I bought one of these skillets several years ago and have been very careful to use only silicone or plastic utensils in it. It has held up beautifully. I usually hand wash this skillet, but it has gone in the dishwasher multiple times (my husband doesn't hand wash anything if he can help it). I would definitely buy another one of these for my personal use.

My husband liked these so much that he purchased another two from Amazon for our small catering company and they have done quite well under those, less than ideal, conditions.

For the price, this is great little kitchen workhorse. It is easy to clean and hold up well and the handle is great since it doesn't get hot. I would recommend this item.

I used the pan once and as soon as I start cooking the entire house smelled like some kind of toxic chemical. It made me headache. I do not think it is safe to use this pans.

I called customer service to report this but they did not believe the smell and said their products are all tested and safe.

I am not sure if this smell can be safe.

These pots and pans fit perfectly on the burners of my daughter's new KidKraft kitchen. I looked all over for a nicely sized stainless steel set, but almost all of them are miniaturized or too small to accommodate life-size play food. This set is fantastic and works really well with the Learning Resources Food sets. I've uploaded a photo which shows the egg from their Breakfast series sitting perfectly in the frying pan.

The materials of this set are lightweight, but everything feels surprisingly sturdy. The ladle is the only thing thing that feels a bit too chintzy and easily bendable. These also look/sound like real pots and pans (well...a cheap set anyways), which is exactly what I wanted. My daughter hasn't raided my cookware cupboards once since we gave this to her.

Overall, I highly recommend this for someone who doesn't want to go with wooden or primary/pastel colors for pots and pans. The price is good considering the quality & number of items you receive and the dimensions are ideal for a KidKraft or similarly sized play kitchen.

As a general rule I would say a pan is just a pan, but this is the best pan for browning I have ever purchased. Properly seasoned it is very stick resistant, heats evenly and cooks a burger or an egg like it came off a flat griddle in a restaurant. On a Gas stove it browns without burning. Its easy cleanup and much lighter than cast iron, and it appears very durable. I will never purchase another teflon pan again. I originally purchased this pan for my camper but i don't think its going to leave my kitchen. I will likely purchase another shortly.

I purchased both an 8" and 10" black steel pan but they sent me a heavy duty carbon steel pan for the 8" pan, which I have no problem with.

The bigger the pan, the heavier it gets and more difficult to toss food but if you are a man it shouldn't be a problem. I used it for quick, high heat stir-fry, pan fry and searing meat and it worked well.

If you have never use or season carbon steel pan before make sure you educate yourself first. I learned the hard way and had to scour, scour and scour to remove the bad seasoning and redo the seasoning. The idea of seasoning is to add layer/s of carbon onto the surface of the pan to protect it from rust and achieve that nonstick characteristic. With good professional cooking skills and knowledge, even without the nonstick seasoning on you can still cook up a variety of dishes with 'sticky' ingredients such as eggs, fish, meat, potatoes and etc.

The only setback is that it takes daily maintenance with daily use at the beginning. Make sure the pan is cleaned correctly with hot water, nonabrasive material and NO DISH DETERGENT. Try not to cook anything acidic such a tomatoes, citrus fruits juice or vinegar or you will have to do the seasoning over again. That is exactly what I mean when I mention think twice before you commit. It takes discipline to care for your pan. My wife complained that I cared for the pan more than her. LOL!

I like the design and look of french style pans and it lasts a long time. Its a good investment if you are willing to commit to maintaining the condition of the pan.

I bought these in different sizes for my vacation home. I have the Mauviel and DeBuyer french ones at home. I can't find the french ones in the smaller sizes anywhere anymore. The french ones have thicker gauge steel and the rivets for the handles aren't sticking out as much. I have those for over ten years and don't remember anymore how expensive those were, but they were expensive. These are somewhat less expensive though not inexpensive either. Since I have gas at home and electric at my cottage, cooking is different just because of that and I can't really compare them. All in all I am happy with this purchase, these aren't bad pans. I gave them 3 stars because the french ones are probably a star up at 4 and due to the high price I wouldn't want to give them 5 either. At the end this is just a piece of plain steel. In that regards, the review complaining about rust, well, this is a steel plan, you need to keep it oiled, no automatic dishwasher, actually you probably don't want to wash them with soap even by hand, the soap removes the oil film on the surface. just rinse them out and wipe them clean and dry and if you do soap it because it is really messy, you have to dry it up on the heated stove. If you do that they will develop that none stick surface seasoning and last forever my french ones have done so and these have started already to do so too.

Decent quality carbon steel fry pans--what restaurants use. A little bit thin (1.5ml ?), but they heat up fast and then cool quickly when removed from the heat--BIG pluses in the restaurant world. Thin steel fry pans like this often warp, also common in restaurant kitchens, so be aware of that. They season well and work just fine. If you want something thicker and more upscale for the home kitchen, consider deBuyer's Mineral pans...

Black steel cookery is fine for stove top, particularly recipes that call for continuing attention. It is less reliable for use in the oven,as the black steel here is considerably thinner than either cast iron or carbon steel. Carbon steel pans are better for cooking those stove top dishes that should have no hot spots, cook evenly, and are easiest to season properly.

The World Cuisine Black Steel is okay it does quick jobs (shrimp, sautés, stir fry) fairly well, but heavier meats are problematic. It heats unevenly with hot spots and feels flimsier. It's a large pan, inexpensive, and so makes a good addition when you cook for larger dinner parties that need multiple pans for different jobs. The carbon steel is best for stove top (with huge price variances here) and the cast iron works well both on stove top (although very heavy) and best for recipes that start stove top and then go in the oven. Paderno is the lesser of the expensive evils for carbon steel pans, and very good. Lodge cast iron pots and pans should be re-seasoned once purchased and then they are likewise very good and considerably less expensive than all carbon steel pans.

The item is overall great, since I used to have one like that before. However, the metal top bends slightly during the very first use, which, of course, the instructions explain that it's a feature, not a defect ;-). Also, unfortunately the seller mailed the item without the forks what a disappointment!! So I have to use forks from my cheese fondue set which work just as fine. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase.

The Calphalon Double Pot Rack Hook works well on the "cross beams" of the Calphalon wall rack and hanging racks. You can use them to hang two omelet/frying pans back-to-back or as Calphalon suggests, a pan with its lid. For the wall rack, I recommend buying 2-4 double hooks; for the hanging racks, where you have more room, buy as many as you think you might need. It takes time and planning to get your hanging arrangement the way you want it. As your collection of Calphalon grows, remember to order extra pot hooks too!

This is the best pan I've ever used for one of my favorite breakfasts, ham and egg sandwiches. I like to cook my eggs using as little oil as possible. Ham and eggs are a tough combo in that eggs don't do well on stainless steel, while frying meat without oil tends to kill Teflon pans quickly. This pan does a great job, you can cook the ham nice and crispy without ruining the pan and just use a squirt of cooking spray to fry the egg. The pan just wipes out with a paper towel. It doesn't matter if you burn the ham a little, this pan can take it and still wipe clean with a paper towel. If it can cook ham and eggs like this, it means everything else is easy. I've only used it a couple of dozen times to cook various items but it seems that it will last much longer than the average Teflon pan. I liked it so much, I looked for more marble coated pans. Unfortunately they are not all created equally. I ended up ordering a Valencia pan and it was not nearly the same quality. Look for the Korean made stuff from KW or ACE (seems to be the same company). The Valencia pan was from China. I just sent back the Valencia omelet, which was cheaper, and paid a little extra for the KW/Ace 8 inch omelet pan.

I purchased the pressure cooker several month ago. I love it but manytimes I wanted have a normal lid. I did not know it is available until my friend told me. It was very good price too.

Yes it is functionally universal size about 8 1/2 to 12 in in coverage. Interior ridges seat it nicely at the various diameters. See through window. Non Stick cleanup! the handle keeps you Safely away from steam or spatter...very important to me because I have somewhat clumsy arthritic hands.

I've had All Clad cookware for years and I guess I take it for granted. I recently became enamored with a pot shown on TV. I'd actually forgotten how much better All Clad is because of its thick stainless steel. The new pot seemed so thin by comparison and sure enough it didn't take long before something burned in it. I eventually got it clean but the interior finish is darkened permanently. It just reminded me to stick to the All Clad.

This particular pot is wonderful for many reasons. First of all, because it is tall and relatively narrow I use it for things that would splatter and make a mess if using the three or even the four quart pot. This one is a little bigger around than the three and four quart pans and the covers aren't interchangeable, but it's a small difference. The pot is mostly just taller. I wouldn't make tomato sauce without it or strawberry jam that tends to climb pot walls and wants to boil over. While the pot is tall, it's not so tall I can't get in there easily to tend my stew or whatever.

Secondly, because of the shape, it doesn't take up all the space in my dishwasher. I can even get both the pot and the insert in there at once. Although I use the pot alone for lots of things like big batches of soup, the insert adds many more options. It's supposed to be for pasta, but I actually don't use it for that because I rarely make that much at once. I use it for corn on the cob and boiling potatoes where I want to be able to lift out and drain the contents all in one shot, but also for making stock where I can lift out the chicken carcass and flavoring veggies leaving only the nice stock, already strained, in the pot. When the stock is cooled I ladle it right into my jars and freeze it for later use or go on to make soup. I haven't had to pour a heavy pot into a colander to strain out the solids while saving the liquid in another pot.

Since the insert doesn't sit on the bottom of the pot (up by about an inch), its contents will not burn and you don't need as much water. Whatever is in the insert that is not submerged will cook down or steam with the cover on. In fact you need to be careful not to overfill the pot with water lest it boil over between the pot and the insert. Since the insert sits higher, it's easy to get carried away adding too much water.

All in all, this is one of the most used pots in my house and highly recommended.

I have owned my wall mount copper pot rack for about 3 months now, and true to the description it is maintaining a lovely luster thanks to its protective lacquer coating. As you can see from the image I uploaded, this rack holds a surprising amount of kitchen wares, all attractively organized and in an accessible fashion. I was looking for something somewhat attractive but not spendy I should have known better. While materials are adequate for this rack the arm bracket angles are a bit off so the rack will not sit horizontal to the wall you are mounting it to. I was a finish carpenter for over 25 years and would say I am mechanically inclined. I could not find an adequate means of adjusting the mounting short of adjusting the bends in the bracket arms. This would be difficult to do due to the weight of the material even if you could determine the proper angle prior to mounting. If the issue of a good horizontal alignment would be a concern for you I suggest you not purchase this rack.

Due to its weight it's best to have help putting it up and you must install in the studs or risk having all come crashing down. The amount of hooks supplied is ample. I am happy with my purchase.
