I love to cook, as does my wife ... you can TELL by looking at us).
I have purchased MANY Henckels products; from several sets of Knives to pans and other cooking tools.
Usually I would Praise them ALL without ANY reservations nor hesitations!
ONE THING, I would improve on this Turner ....
The leading edge is a little too thick. This makes it a little harder getting it under some foods to turn it.
I KNOW why they do it. To make it sturdier, longer lasting and a better quality product ... Which it IS!
I am getting used to it though. It is getting easier once you learn the "TRICK" (Which they DON'T tell you).
BEFORE you try to slide it under your food ... PRESS DOWN a little harder on the Turner so that the edge bends a little, flattens out on the pan a little, and it is much easier.
I WOULD buy this again and I DO suggest you buy it!

One of the best spatulas/turners I've used. After about six months of use, this turner is holding up well. It's got a solid construction and holds up well to frequent use as the primary spatula that I use. Many of cheaper spatulas tend to come about from the handle, but I use this one all the time and it's gone through plenty of dishwasher cycles. It's still just as solid as it was on day one. The first thing I noticed when I received the turner was the sheer weight and quality of the product. The weight was noticeable, even compared to my full stainless spatula. However, when cooking, I have not thought twice about the weight.I had concerns with a silicone turner being stiff enough and able to do heavy lifting. Have no worries. I was pleasantly surprised with how stiff and capable the silicone is. I do a lot of cooking and have been giddy (can one be giddy over a turner?) using this on everything from wok-fulls of stir fry to omelets.
The only semi negative is the attachment of silicone to stainless steel (attachment forms a right angle). It seems like food could get stuck here. However, I say 'seems,' because it has easily cleaned after every use. I suppose a tapered silicone would not have as long of a life span.
Great quality and performance and no worries about toxic chemicals seeping into food. I'm ecstatic to have bought this turner!

This silicone turner is one of my favorite cooking utensils in the kitchen. It feels and looks great. More than that, it functions very well. I am especially impressed with its performance while flipping eggs. I haven't used a turner I like more. As someone who has always bought items like this at Walmart and for as inexpensive a price as seemed reasonable for a relatively well made "looking product", I almost cringed when I clicked on "Add to Cart" for this spatula. But I have never been as thrilled with a kitchen utensil as I am with this handsome guy. Well made and easy to hold, it's a joy to use with my iodized cookware. I'll be throwing out all my partially melted and peeling "inexpensive" spatulas. :)
