I've had it for some 4 months now, and use it to make large batches of soup. It has all of the characteristics I was looking for:

1. a reasonably thick wall so it maintains temperatures well

2. non-stick so you can simmer vegetables

3. a glass cover so you can keep an eye on the contents

4. insulated handles (although orange wouldn't have been my first choice of color)

5. just about the largest size I can use on my non-commercial stove

6. a reasonable price considering all of the above

I'm a big fan of Chantal pots but this one is great and significantly less expensive.

The pricing on most of these big heavy duty non stick pots is just too high. This one is on target and the quality is quite good. I was hesitant to buy any celebrity products for obvious reasons but this one is okay. I owned some cheaper pots from QVC and one expensive one from Circulon and they all peeled badly in just a short period of time. This one appears to be worth the money at this point in time. I do not know how long it will last before the surface starts to flake. This is my first anolon surface but it looks good.

I have bought the same pot in a different size so I was pleased to get this size. The nonstick surface is long lasting, nothing sticks and washes up in seconds. The glass lid fits nicely, I like the handles. This is my favorite pot in my kitchen.

My current 6 qt pot was to small for some dishes and this larger pot was a God Send. My wife got it for me. It is the high quality I expect from Rachael Ray and I recommend it.
