I recently purchased an induction range. I love the stove, it is absolute wonderful. I have had a little trouble finding cookware usable on the stove. I purchased the Berndes Cucinare Induction 2 1/2 Quart, the 1 1/2 quart, and the 3 quart sauce pans. I love the pans! They are the highest quality pans I have ever owned. They are beautiful to look at, excellent cookers, easy care, and will probably last my lifetime. But they are a little pricey for the average person which I am one. I would not be using them or would have purchased them except for the trouble finding induction cookware. Great pans!!!! Not so great price.

I'm disappointed in the quality of this pan. After having used it twice with just water the pan was left with spots all over. I did what Berndes recommended: "Use a water/vinegar solution (9:1) and your pan will look brand new" to get rid of the spots but that didn't help. The pan looks like I've been using it for years. We bought a set of cookware by Berndes as well as some additional items two years ago when we remodeled our kitchen and replaced our existing cooktop with an induction cooktop. The cookware has held up extremely well and still look like new. A short soak in the sink and use of Bar Keeper's Friend with a soft cloth or sponge is all that is required to restore their beauty. The design is both elegant and functional, as I reported in a review of the cookware set. I especially love the glass lid and the small vent that keeps boil-overs to a minimum. I'd love to buy additional pieces such as a double boiler and steamer insert for my larger saucepans.
