I've used it twice now to make large batches of soup. It seems to be well built. Unlike other pots I've seen, there are no circular half-moon fastener covers where the handles are bolted to the side of the pot. (I don't know what you call those.) In any case, the inside of the pot is perfectly smooth, with no bumps covering up handle attachment points. I assume that the handle is attached within the walls of the pot. And yet the handle seems perfectly firmly and sturdily attached. I detected no weakness or wobliness in the handles at all. The pot sauted my veggies and simmered my soup beautifully, although it did seem to take a little longer to initially heat up than my old Teflon pot. However, once heated up, it performed quite well. Clean up was a breeze, much easier than with my old Teflon pot. Nothing stuck to it at all. A squirt of soap, a swish, and it was clean in seconds. I also love the glass lid that lets you monitor what you're cooking without removing it. And of course, I feel it's much safer and healthier to use a pot with ceramic rather than teflon coating.
I do have one complaint: the knob on the glass lid is metal instead of silicone. If I forget to use a hot pad, I burn my hands when removing the lid. Since the handles on the side of the pot are nice silicone handles that you can touch without a hot pad, I really don't understand why they didn't use a silicone knob/handle on the glass lid. I've noticed looking at the other cookware in the Healthy legend line that some pans, for example the 11.2 inch saute pan, have metal knobs on the lid, while other pans, such as the 12 inch fry pan and the 2.2 quart sauce pan have silicone knobs on the lid. This really irritates me, and I almost didn't buy this pot simply because of the metal knob on the lid. If they put silicone knobs on some lids, why not on all of them? Had there been an equal quality pot available in the size I wanted with a silicone knob on the lid, I'd have bought that instead. Because of this, I took off a star and only rated this 4 stars-otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.

I am very happy with this soup pot. It is very large and it is great for cooking soup. I love to cook soup and noodle for my family. It's non-stick German Ceramic coating works perfectly and it can avoid food from sticking and burning. The most important is that it is non-toxic and more durable than Teflon. It is a great gift for my in-law. It is inductive ready too, I can take it to my RV and use my inductive cooktop. One note is that not all pot and pan made by Healthy Legend are inductive ready. I think only the bigger ones are inductive ready.Best Deals for 7.1 Quart Stock Pot (soup pot) with Non-stick German Weilburger
I purchased the 7 quart soup pot a few months ago and love the way it cooks on my induction stove. Clean up is a breeze. The only problem is it arrived with one of the handles crushed and have not been able to resolve. I am trying to find a handle replacement from the manufacturer.Honest reviews on 7.1 Quart Stock Pot (soup pot) with Non-stick German Weilburger
I've had this pot 24 hours now. I cooked bacon in it first and it cooked the bacon AWESOME. It came out perfect and did not stick to the pan at all. I didn't wash the pan, I just poured out most of the bacon grease and then seared a roast. It seared the roast perfectly and evenly. Beautiful. Then I cooked the roast in the pot. I usually use a crock pot for cooking roasts. After the meat was cooked, I added the potatoes, carrots, celery, garlic, etc. until done. It cooked everything beautifully. In my crock pot everything usually turns to mush. The vegetables (especially potatoes) remained whole but thoroughly cooked. It was AMAZING, and nothing stuck to the pan and it washed out easily. Someone mentioned that they did not like the lid because the metal handle got hot. I did not have that problem. It got hot, but not too hot that I could not touch it. No problem with that. This is an awesome pot for the money. It did take a little while for me to receive it. Like 2 weeks or something before I got it. No big deal and worth it for the price.UPDATE: Had this pot for a while now. Today I cooked Green Chile and it works great. This is one of the tests I wanted to do before updating the review. After cooking the meat and chiles, I coat it with flour and make a sort of rue and I wanted to make sure the flour/butter did not stick to the pan. It does not stick. It cooked everything beautifully. And the bottom of the pan does not burn even on hire setting which I would have a problem with in other pans. I LOVE IT!!!
