I purchased the silicone gasket for my ten year old pressure cooker by Fissler. It was a perfect fit and have had the chance to try it out. It worked properly. I would not hesitate to buy replacement parts from Amazon.com.

This gasket fits Fissler's that were manufactured before 2009. It does not have a relief molded into both sides so it fits too tightly and you have to really push down of the top to make it turn. Be very careful. I bought the price and the advertising that it "fits Vitaquick" but did not carefully read the item number. If I had, it would have been noted that this is for Blue Point and old Vitaquick's.

I have used Fissler pressure cookers for years. I have also given the same as presents to relatives. The sealing ring needs to be replaced once every three / four years. Very good value.
