This skillet is holding up very well over 8 months of daily use. I do use spray oil for eggs and they slide around very easily. I never run it through the dishwasher where the detergent is so caustic it will etch glass. It is made of thick cast aluminum and shows no signs of warping like the thinner stamped out skillets. I do not overheat any skillet, but I do fry steaks which need a high heat that before only my cast iron would take. I occasionally use stainless steel utensils in it and it still looks new! My only miff is that I have been unable to find a lid to fit so I am using a universal lid when I need to "steam" something. The more vertical sides splatter less but I can still toss flip my eggs. The temperature indicator in the handle has turned out quite handy in keeping me from putting the food in before the skillet is heated up. The handle mount is cast in so there are no rivet heads to deal with in cleaning the skillet. I have a gas stove and the skillet heats evenly no hot spots. They are a great value for the money.

High sides, absolutely non-stick, and evenly heated across the thick bottom. The temperature indicator is an unexpected bonus and the handle shape is perfect for my wife's hands.
