years ago, i'd bought one in a department store in Paris: it's quite large, with a very practical handle, and it's wonderfully light! now with problems with my arms, and looking for a chopping board for a house in England, i called Ironwood Gourmet, and was told i could find it on Amazon...

This is a beautiful wood "paddle" that is very useful for serving pizza, cheese and crackers or other snacks. I like that it has a hanging loop because it's quite decorative hanging on my kitchen wall. Just wipe it off to clean it.

So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. The board is beautiful, the wood grain varies and looks just like the picture. It is a little thinner than the ones I'd had before but that is fine fits better in my smallish hands. I also appreciate the hole and loop of leather which allow me to hang it up to dry. Please be advised, one cannot lay these boards down to store, they accumulate mold from being wet. So, hanging them unencumbered is the best way to store them. This one is also a nice size. (All I use mine for is chopping vegetables and fruits).
