Chopper works fairly well when meat is in small pieces to begin with. It is necessary to break ground meat up before using. Until the meat is partially cooked it sticks to the chopper. It is necessary to hit the side of the pan to get the meat off. Pam helps to keep the meat from sticking to the chopper.

I was disappointed in this product as it is so thick

it does not work well. Just wore me out to use it.

Bulkey and awkward. I will suggest a simple potato

masher instead. It works well, easier to handle and MUCH cheaper!

I recently purchased this and found it to work great to break up ground meat when browning it. So far that is all I have used it for but it would probably work as well for mashing potatoes.
