Fits many pan contours and it is not wrong-handed! It makes more of a difference than you know. If you have a lefty loved one who goes near a stove, I bet they would appreciate this.

Being natural, it should be washed by hand, if you care about such things. Me, in the dishwasher it goes and for $3 to $4, I'll replace it every so often.

I have tried contacting OXO, for instance, for some left-handed kitchen implements, but they won't even consider it. So thanks to Joyce Chen for this.

I hadn't realized how much having this spoon would change my cooking. Everything tastes better and has fewer calories. The food costs less somehow and beautiful women throw themselves at my feet. Ok, so really it's just a spoon. However! I've been using a righty bamboo spatula for so long (backwards) that it really is great having it the proper way round. Well constructed, good size, good price Will probably last a decade or so.

***One rather major gripe if you're reading this Joyce Chen company!!*** STOP PUTTING STICKERS ON PLACES THEY DONT BELONG. You have no idea how long it took to remove the red "for lefties blah blah" sticker off this spoon. I used several applications of goo gone and quite a bit of elbow grease. Hang a tag from the hole, or better yet, don't put anything on it! Thank you. :)

I'm so glad I found and bought this. I cook a lot for our family of 6 and much of what I cook is sauces and other stove top recipes. This spoon is a treat for me to use.

It is really nice to have a left handed spatula and the size is good. My beef is that it has some sort of unknown lacquer on it. This makes me nervous about using it in either a very hot wok or skillet since I don't want the stuff coming off in my food. I would have given it 5 stars if they would have just left the lacquer off. Plain bamboo is pretty robust, especially if you treat it with mineral oil like all other wooden utensils.
