I bought these cups because they have a ring clasp that allows you to separate the cups. A lot of measuring cups do not have the clasp. The cups are solid and sturdy, but somewhat heavy. They will last forever!

We've had these for five years now -we use them a lot -and none of them show any sign of wear yet. They are always a pleasure to use. In addition to the heavy-duty aspect, I like the longer than normal handles.

If you have any notion that these are like the one you get at the grocery store or other home goods store, think again. These are heavy, professional grade measuring cups with thick, long handles. I was tired of buying the cheap ones and having to throw them away after one dropped and got bent. I'm pretty sure I'll never need to buy another set after getting these. Good price too.
