The dinner bell is big and has a loud distinctive sound which is what we were looking for. Assembling the dinner bell was easy if you are creative as there were not any instructions. Our only disappointment was the bell does not move smoothly as the swivel points are rough and will need grinding and sanding. Good value for the price but expect to do some work.

This was a perfect example of what I feel was a bait and switch. Will always wonder what the Cajun Dinner Bell would of been like. Once burnt by that seller I will never know. I did not receive the Cajun dinner bell. Was switched to the Independence Bell 1776. If I would have wanted that bell I would of ordered it over the Cajun bell. (Independence Bell) Which is a cheaper bell, very poor quality, was bought for a gift and no way could you give this bell as a gift. Gave it to my mother as a Christmas present. She is using it as a doorbell while they are building their house. It is a very loud doorbell, but a doorbell anyway.
