We got this set (in a black color instead of blue) for our wedding two years ago. Every piece is FANTASTIC. I've used single pans that cost more than this entire set that don't perform like these, so don't feel like you need to spend $1000 to get the best cookware.
The nonstick layer still performs like the day we got it after two years of use as our only cookware. Nothing sticks to these pans, at all! And that makes cleaning really easy. The aluminum construction means that the heating is extremely even. Even though the handles are all metal and riveted to the pans, somehow they stay cool enough to handle easily even while cooking. The glass lids make it easy to monitor how things are going in the pan. The strainers built in to the saucepan lids are extremely convenient for making lots of things. We'll make one or two small servings of pasta and strain them right out of the pot into a serving bowl. We stir fry in the big frying pan, and the flat griddle makes delicious pancakes. The cast iron pan is great for deep frying.
