This little sprouter worked just as described. The first batch, using just one tray, barely fit into a quart bag. That was using 2.5 tablespoons of seeds. Really like the cover, because it helps keep them in the dark and control when they get light.

Sprouting isn't supposed to be difficult, but if you're like me and do not have a green thumb, sprouting can be frustrating. I've fiddled with sprouting jars in the past, but I was never able to successfully grow sprouts. I bought this product to give sprouting one last chance, and I can now say that "Yes, anyone can grow sprouts!" As I type this, I'm getting ready to to harvest my second crop of sprouts.

Because the Sprout Garden has three trays, you can grow three different types of sprouts if you want. My current crop offers two trays of mixed sprouts and one tray of alfalfa sprouts. The Sprout Garden takes up very little space on the counter (it's about the size of a large dinner plate, but of course it's taller), it's lightweight, and it's easy to store. The pieces nest inside each other (though really, I don't know why you'd want to store it -keep those sprouts sprouting!).

I'll tell you something: my success with the Sprout Garden has convinced me that I can grow other things, too! I might even try to grow my own herbs.

I started my sprout garden on Monday and today we had salad with the sprouts in it They were perfect!! It is so easy to grow the sprouts and the instructions are detailed so you can't make a mistake!! You can grow 3 types of sprouts at the same time since there are 3 trays. I planned menus according to the types growing. You won't be disappointed in purchasing the Sprout Garden.
