First let me say we absolutely used these every day camping. Actually twice a day. Let me explain. Of course at night we used them for marshmallows and the long forks for hot dogs. However, the best discovery came @ breakfast time when we went to toast our toast over the fire. we skewered the toast on the forks which worked ok. But that hot dog thing that so many reviewers complained about it not being the right fit? We found out the hard way that was correct. But my daughter put 2 slices of bread and there and placed it over the fire. Voila!!! Perfect toast! It even had the little lines as if it came from a toaster. And two at a time and the 2 slices are a PERFECT fit! They should re-advertise this as a toaster! So if you think of that piece as a mini toaster rather than a hotdog thingy you can be perfectly confident everyone will be waiting in line to do their own toast! And the color coded sticks are genius! We really enjoyed this set and it would make an amazing gift. Just dont forget to tell them about the toaster! Oh! One more thing! I gave this as a gift to my sister to accompany thier new fire pit. They also are avid campers. They raved about it the quality and for the price, that's what I like!

My only problem was with the 4 dog holding clamped thing. The weenies fell out of it (the dog liked this--we did not). After giving up on that, the other forked sticks worked really well.

They are really handy when cooking hot dogs, sausages and marshmallows over an open fire. The long forks work really great for the kids to use so they won't get burned. We have had lots of fun roasting marshmallows and would recommend this set to anyone that spends time outdoors cooking.

Was so glad to find these at Amazon when looking for something a little nicer than a coat hanger for a church cookout. We love the products also to cook in our fireplace. The only complaint I have is that the hinged 4-up Safe'T'Roaster is not tight enough and the wieners slip out easily. It works better with a thicker bratwurst type. Fortunately, with the other products offered in this set, we don't really need the hinged one.
