This mug was a lovely addition to my Chirp dinnerware. The cup is taller than the regular cups that came with the place setting. I use it all the time now for any beverage. It's also quite durable, as I've banged it around a little when washing.

Normally, I wouldn't use a mug this pricy for everyday use. But, as advertised, it Is indeed chipresistant...so much so that we've had several accidentally fall to the floor and not a single one shattered (our floor Is hardwood)..While these are beautiful year round, I particularly love using them while entertaining guests outdoors during the summer. They go through the dishwasher regularly with no sign of fading yet and we've had these for over a year. .

I built this entire set by gradually purchasing it form Macy's and I was not disappointed in any aspect of it. Until of course I found it on Amazon for a much better price! I received these mugs super fast and with unparalleled quality! When I spend more money on something I expect for it to deliver the results and these mugs do just that! I put them in the microwave for 2 minutes all day long and the cup is still very comfortable to hold and drink out of. These mugs have also outlasted the blistering heat of repeated dish washing loads and a few accidental bumps on to the floor...oops! Not only are they pretty, highly durable, but for a great price too!
