I love this rack once it was finally up on the wall. Install was a bit of work, i have to admit i had to put the ole thinking cap on to get this up on the wall. Keep in mind that overall i am very happy with this rack.
this is a heavy rack, it requires 4 screws that need to be anchored into studs, the screws on the right side i could get into the a stud, however, the ones on the left wouldn't be hitting a stud based off of where the pre-drilled holes on the rack are placed. now, i know my house is special, and not special in a good way, it just worked out that it wouldn't work with where i need to hang it. So, after some thought process and 2 trips to the hardware store i got this on the wall, and man, i could do chin ups on this thing now if i wanted to. What i ended up doing was attaching the right side to the studs, drilling a new hole in the back of the rack to hit a second stud (which was in the middle), and attaching the left side using toggle bolts. A little sweat and .88 cents spent at the hardware store and VOILA all done.
It was worth the work, i really like it, and it looks great. I am sure that the holes are drilled to what is standard for most homes but seeing as my home is close to 80 years old not everything is to today's standards.Love the product! Very Sturdy, great color and pleasing to look at. Great amount of hooks too! Would definitely recommend!
