The spoon has a nice weight and the plastic and the texture of the plastic will not scratch metal or non-stick pans (teflon etc). But the plastic feel too supple. I'm worried about breaking it when I cook and as a result I find myself not putting force on it when cooking and stirring.

I love this spoon. It is the first kitchen aid product I have ever owned. It spoon is a deep spoon so I can use is for many things like pasta, veggies etc. It is sturdy and not cheap like some products I have bought in the past. I have a feeling this one will last a while

The spoon part it's self is good and deep, but the over all size is a bit too big. It's bulky and creates a storage problem for me.
