I think the cooker works great!! The best way to use the cooker is in the way you prepare the potato.
We always start with putting virgin olive oil in soup/ceral bowl. Add whatever spices you like. Then roll potato in mixture. Potato comes out very crisp. Somewhat like Red Lobster's. I suggest you start with sea salt, pepper, crushed oregano, garlic salt, onion salt, chives, etc. We use whatever we have. We're never disappointed! We have 2 cookers and everyone wants to know where we got them.

Inexpensive and highly functional. Takes about 25 to 35 minutes off the cooking time of baked potatoes. Works best if about half way through you turn it a quarter turn. Works great in a covered grill too, keeps the house cool!

It's fun to grill the potatoes, but I don't think they come out better than using your oven. It's more of a convenience/novelty item. Would be better if you could make more than 4, but cutting cooking time is a good idea. After they cook and yoiu open them, there is a brown burnt-like skin that forms on each half as a result of the metal spoke used to internally cook potato. That bothers me, but my husband doesn't seem to mind. I have to cut it away.
