I broke a couple of my mother's dishes so was happy to find these. Mom's older Dansk dishes have "Made in Portugal" on the bottom, these Dansk pieces do not specify a country. These plates are heavier than hers and look slightly different from the side. She's happy w/ these as they match when viewed from above (you can't tell the difference when the table is set). If an exact match is needed, ReplacementsLimited is an excellent company.

I ordered these plates to give as a present. They arrived 2 days later and were in excellent condition. They are great plates and match the rest of the table serving gear in the house for which they were bound as a birthday present. I suppose it helps that the person I was giving them to was sitting next to me and helped me order them.
