I saw these at a local cooking store at an outrageous price. So I ordered from Amazon. I'm liking them a lot. Much better than the tea towels a la chef that I had been using. They seem to work as advertised and have a bit of style. They don't work all that well if you're wearing a chunky watch but I shouldn't be wearing a chunky watch in the kitchen anyway; it just gets the way. That's why microwaves have clocks, right. My only disappointment with this product is why do I have to buy two individual ones rather than a pair. Homo sapiens have two hands, right? So why not sell these as a pair, or at least as an option. I bought two. I can't imagine taking a five pound lasagna dish out of the oven with only one hand unless I'm dialing 911 at the same time for first degree burns on my hands and lower extremities.

What a great mitt! The size is great and it's flexible, unlike quilted mitts. Your hand won't even get warm.

These are good mitts; the definitely stand up to high tempratures and they look pretty nice. I have big hands so I do find them a little hard to use at times; just don't feel 100% confident taking something out of the oven with one hand since I can't get a solid grip. If you have average or small hands it will probably be much better. These sure do beat any cheap mitts that are made with cotton or whatever type of filler they put in them.

If you cook or bake, or have a loved one that does, buy at least one. However, I 'd save yourself some time and recommend buying two or more. An outstanding product and a decent value.
