We needed a tray to fit our 19"x19" drawers in our standard 24" wide cabinets. This was the only tray that accommodated filling most of that space and had more than 5 main slots for utensils. The extra 3 pieces of bamboo serving utensils are a bonus, along with the extra tray which we used in another drawer!

Bought new kitchen cabinets for remodel. Decided to pass on the manufacturers upgrades (organizers) Glad we did, these trays are just as nice, and functional at about a fourth of the cost! Will buy more for the the new bathroom vanities.

Oceanstar has shown considerable pride in this beautiful, high grade bamboo set. From the professional packaging to its contents, including versatile, expanding bamboo drawer, additional bamboo tray and bamboo utensils, my first impression was, Yes! My one fear prior to delivery was that the bamboo material would be too thin and fragile for keeping fine silverware. Not only is the bamboo substantial, but the grain and character of the harder than maple 'grass' is quite beautiful and pleasing to the eye. This replaces my mother's original hardwood tray, adding additional compartments for storing my wooden chopsticks, etc.. Highest recommendation for Oceanstar's 5-Piece Bamboo Organizer.

The gluing on the corners is a little sloppy. On mine there is a small crack in the bamboo veneer in the bottom of one compartment. In my opinion the arrangement of the small compartments does not quite fit the lay out of the standard 5 flatware items as compared to the plastic organizer I am replacing (which are all side by side). The spoons and spatula are a little rough on their bottom edges. The good news: It looks good and is pretty well made, dove tailed corners are used, except on the small extra box, it is all made of good materials, loaded with flatware it does not slide around (width does not try to change), and it comes at good price for what you get. I would buy it again.
