i wanted paula deen cookware because my neighbor has owned a set for two years and she swears by it! her pots and pans are still incredibly non-stick and they really do look brand new. so I found this GREAT deal on amazon for the purple set and decided to splurge even though my cookware was fine. I am sooooo glad i did! this is way better than my old cookware. the deep purple color is very pretty in my kitchen. I love the rubberized grips on the handles and the lids, they are very comfy! the lids all fit on great. the non stick surface is really worth the price! and my favorite part about them is how light they are! I love not having to strain to get the big pot out of the cabnet. they are very durable too, don't think that because they are lightweight that they are weak.. cuz they are not! I would recomend any paula deen cookware.

I am very disappointed with the teflon interior coating, it is peeling. I received this set for Christmas and I have only used the Rosti basic kitchen tools that came with them, so I don't like that the interior is already peeling. They have all been hand washed, never in the dishwasher. I am very disappointed.

I have been looking for purple pots to match my interior kitchen colors for quite some time. These are perfect! The only thing I would recommend is NOT to put in dishwasher if you would like to keep them looking new and glossy. (one pot went through and not as glossy now). They are wonderful to cook with.

The pots themselves are solid, thick pots. But although we used plastic spatulas all the time, somehow now, as I write this 16 months later, the frying pan and the big stock pot are headed for the trash. The coating is peeling (obviously unhealthy and unusable). Also the two smaller frying pans do not sit level on the burner. I have to put something under the handle if there's not enough food in it to level it. Which is a problem when you want to pre-heat especially.

Very disappointing for the price and the name that's supposed to be attached. Not a quality product.

These pans are not worth the price in my opinion. There are several reasons I am dissatisfied with them.

1. The color is much darker than shown.

2. The teflon coating came off within 30 days of use (while using utensils designed for teflon!)

3. The handles are too heavy for the pan/pot and they tip off the burners unless they are filled significantly.

All in all I do not recommend this item. Don't waste your money.
