The best part about this whisk is that all the "wires" meet at one middle point in the bottom So a traditional whisk has wire loops crossing over each other and only the outermost loop actually scrapes the surface of the pan, but because this whisk does not have loops overlapping each other, rather just all wires converging together at the center, then there are multiple contact points between the whisk and pan. There are all these silicone cooking utensils out there except for a sturdy silicone/nylon whisk. I looked everywhere for a black whisk with a comfortable handle, but only found metal whisks or expensive bright colored ones. Well, here it is! Good size of head and is sturdier than most as the individual loops are connected together at the top of the head. This will allow it to keep its shape and strength in thicker liquids/sauces, etc. Long enough handle to be able to use inside of pots and pans. I have only used it about 6 times, It is a good sturdy mid-sized non metal whisk. It replaced a broken one. I like this one better.
