Cut very well but buttons popped off that cover the screw that holds them together first use.Not cool.

Maybe it's just my sets, but they don't cut very well. I have to use my right hand, if I use my left the blades won't maintain enough friction together to cut through bacon (seriously) let alone a chicken. Another note, the packaging is that sealed and rough plastic that you need to already own a good pair of scissors to open.

I live in the Florida Keys and spear fish as often as I can. A favorite target is an invasive species, Lion Fish, that tastes extremely good. Only problem is that it has 13 poisonous spines whose sting I can attest is very painful. I needed a pair of shears that I could use with gloves on and would hold up under frequent salt water immersion. These have been perfect. I have them clipped to my catch bag on a short lanyard and when I shoot a Lion Fish I grab my shears and cut off the hazardous spines before I take him off my spear. The stainless has shown no rust or corrosion. My gloved hand fit in the handles with no problem and there is enough friction in the blades so they don't come open while diving along the reef. I gave one pair to my wife to use in the kitchen and she likes them too.

These were a great replacement for the original scissors that came in my knife set. They are nice but they seem to break near the pivot point and it is difficult to clean the joint as well.

I would recommend these though.

This product is okay. If you no longer have scissors for your Ginsu knife set, this will do the trick. However, I was disappointed in the way the scissors were sent. Also, the overall quality doesn't match that of the Ginsu knives. That being said, the original scissors that came with my knife set were no better (which is why they broke and were in need of replacement in the first place).

As far as my Amazon order, I had to exchange the first set of scissors I ordered because both of the scissors came broken, thrown in a box with no packaging. The second replacement set also came thrown in a box with no packaging but at least the scissors were not broken.
