The complaints about the screws being short is valid. I replaced the screws with longer ones and the threads stripped or the handle broke when tightened. My fix, went to the hardware store and bought plastic cabinet knobs and screws. They work well and are dishwasher safe on top rack.

The thread inside the knobs is plastic, so if you tighten the knob too hard, the knob will break ...I used the second knob, didn't tighten it too hard but I'm afraid it will get loose after a while ...
Next time I buy knobs I will make sure the inside part is metal

I had a pan lid that the handle broke off of, because apparently I'm Hercules. Hated to throw out the lid just for that. Found these knobs on here. Very easy to change out knob. Cheap & easy fix. Works great!
